Mack Talks Business with Kim Tate.

Mack drove up to Home Farm to see Kim hoping he could talk her into sharing his new business enterprise with him.

"What brings you here Mack" said Kim "Two meetings in one week"

"I've got a business proposition for you" said Mack.

"Come on surprise me" said Kim passing Mack a small brandy.

"Well to boost business in the bar in the afternoon I'm going to turn part of the bar into an ice cream parlour" Mack explained.

"And you're telling me this because?" said Kim.

"Well to keep the competition down I was going to cut you in on a deal" said Mack. "I will be installing a fridge and will be selling Italian ices to passing trade as well as offering a range of ice cream desserts for sit in customers.

"You still haven't said where I come in" said Kim.

"Well if I buy two fridges the second one could go in up at the hop" explained Mack "If I buy the ices and stock the fridge then you could pocket thirty percent of the profit"

"Sounds good to me Kim" said Billy who had been listening "What do you say to ice cream Lucas"

"Yes!" Lucas answered.

"And what about extra staff?" Kim asked.

"Well I'm sure Amy could do with the extra hours at the Hop and I was going to give Samson a few hours at the cocktail bar" Mack explained.

"Have you priced all this up Mack?" asked Kim.

"Yes Lucy got one of her accountants to cost it and her solicitor has drawn up a business plan" said Mack handing Kim a copy. "I have enough funds to cover everything"

"Right I'll get my accountant to scrutinise it and I'll let you know said Kim. "By the way my two favourite ice cream flavours are coconut and salted caramel".

"An excellent choice" said Mack "They are my two favourites as well"

"There you go" said Kim "I always said we were compatible. Another brandy?"

"You trying to get me drunk" joked Mackenzie. "Thanks but I'm driving"

"Well I did here you get very romantic when you have a few" laughed Kim.

"Do I?" laughed Mack "I will have to go before you sweet talk me any more Kim"

"He's very good looking Don"t you think Billy" Kim asked

"Well he's not really my type" Billy answered "But who would have thought it, he hadn't a clue about anything when he first came here"

"Well he's proved he's got a good business brain" said Kim "I'll have to watch him he'll be richer than me soon"
