would anyone be even remotely interested in the idea of me posting the odd bit of writing on here?

I know my (desktop) blog theme isn’t catered to writing so maybe I’d be better off with a dedicated sideblog for it, but there’s some shorter OC-related things I’m too scared to share on AO3 or are just... unfinished? And I really like showing ppl things for ✨validation✨ so I thought maybe that could be a compromise hahaha

but I’d only do it if like... even a single person expressed interest so I feel less annoying 🙈 (on my own blog, I know that sounds dumb to say afsfdghg)

the AU!gust thing I wrote would be a good place to start, even if it is obnoxiously long and a lil rushed hahaha, and idk if I would go so far as to post stuff I already have on my AO3? lmk if that is of interest too tho!

What’s your current NOTP? You know, I honestly can't think of any tbh.

Do you have any poly ships? For my OTP question, I originally answered LAMP/CALM, so definitely that!

How do you feel about love triangles? I think they can be intriguing if done well. If there's cheating involved, it would be pretty difficult for me to feel sympathy for the cheater.

How do you feel about RPF? It's fine, do whatever you want. Fanfic has always been for fans, not for creators. Purity culture and entitlement needs to stop. It's like seeing a sign that says "Snapping Turtles", jumping in the pond anyways, then yelling at the people who put up the sign after you lose a couple pounds of flesh.

Have you ever shipped yourself with a character? Tbh, the closest I've gotten is wanting different characters to adopt me and take me from my home. But I don't think I've ever romantically shipped myself with someone.

Do you have many ships that never got together at all? *cries in All Of Them*

Share five must-read fics. "Unexpected Destinies" was my first fic that I got into. Destiel fic, very complex and interesting AU. I think it got deleted during a LiveJournal purge tho. I got really into the "Battle Scars" series for a hot minute. Disabled Goku/ disabled Yamcha. "Perfect Attendance" by Periwren is great hurt/comfort starring Roman and Logan. "Welcome to the Neighborhood" by LeFay_Strent is absolutely hysterical. Shenanigans with Remy and Virgil, background Prinxiety, baffled Logan, it's a good time. And "War is Hell (but crushing is way more awkward)" by Jasper01 is incredible in so many ways! Funny, tragic, accurate, romantic, sweet, heartbreaking, all the things!

Just shouting out to the void... is there anyone in the fandom willing to scream and brainstorm about yoi?? I usually blurt all my yoi-related shit to my best friend but she’s not actively in the fandom right now. So currently I have two established AUs, the first one is the canon-compliant AU that I call “the love-song universe” and I blogged about it before. The other is a X-men/Frozen/Avengers-fusion and it’s truly a monster and I really really want to scream about it with someone.

so, it’s almost 8a and i didn’t sleep, but i never sleep anymore. i’ll probs take a nap after my classes, maybe.

but, i just spent the last 2 hours rereading innocent until so that i can start writing it again bc i need a break from the constant kinky shit that is tal. not that i’m not gonna write that, too, but i just feel like writing something milder atm, and my insp for this fic has come back, so i’m excited to start writing chap 9. i’m rly sorry it’s taken me so long to write for it again, but all of my insp for it left me and i didn’t know how to get it back. but it’s back now and i’m excited. i’ve still got 21 chaps plotted and that’s what i’m aiming for (i rly don’t want to add more bc it would ruin my plot as is, so the only way it’ll be longer is if i split some of the longer chaps up). tal is still going strong at 75 but i’m running out of ideas for smut scenes (i’ve got like, one more to incorporate, but then i need like, 4 more ideas, so if you’ve got something you rly wanna see, lmk and i’ll see if i can get it in there (as for what number of chapter it’ll be, i’ve got no fucking clue cause i’m adding shit in everywhere, so it could be at the very end of it could be somewhere else, depending on what plot stuff i can put with it, so yeah, either cutesy romantic stuff or kinky smut, if you want to see something in til action lust, just shoot me a message and we’ll talk).

i also started (i’ve got 2 pgs written) a new fic called hide and seek. i’ve talked abt it before but that was years ago. it’s basically a roadtrip au (with the added bonus of imminent danger) with bedsharing, mutual pining, and kindergarten teacher!bell. and murphy’s a single parent. i’m having a hard time writing the kid tho bc i don’t want to fuck it up, so i need to consult some guides (i’ve got a couple buried in my references tag, which i need to sort and properly tag) so ik i’ve got it right, but i’ll be working on that every now and again when the insp strikes me for it. idk when the first chap will be up, tho, bc it’s like, priority 3 on my list of fics, but it’ll probs be up sometime this semester. it’s rly cute and fluffy and angsty and cliche and i love it. i’ve had it plotted since before s3 finished airing. it’ll be abt 16 chaps total.

i’ve got 2 drabble prompts in my box rn, i meant to have them done sooner, but i’ve been busy/tired, so i haven’t gotten them done yet, but they will get done before the end of the month, most likely. i’m still accepting drabble prompts (from the one i just reblogged or any others in my ‘prompts list’ tag, just include the full prompt along with your ship) for just abt any the 100 ship (aside from the ones i’ve blogged abt disliking) but i’m most interested in murphamy, murphonty, furphy, wellamy, ranya, murven, becho, mecho, or remori, romantic or platonic. ofc, if you want one platonic, you’ll have to specify that but i’m totes chill with that, too.

i’m thinking that, if i can get the next chap of iu up by the end of the month, i may reopen fic requests and take requests for full on fics, not just drabbles. if anyone wants anything, ofc, bc i need more practice writing short/non multi chap fics. so if you’ve got a request, feel free to send me a message and i’ll see what i can do. i don’t have rehearsal and my workload isn’t too big rn (knock on wood), so i’ve got time to write again and i want to make the most of it. i also rarely sleep, so i’ve got a lot more time than i thought i would.

i will get to the ask(s) from that anti-clarke nonnie in my box p soon, i haven’t forgotten, i’ve just been busy. and i’ll try to reply to all my messages soon, as well, bc i love you cats and i feel bad for taking so long to respond, but human interaction has been hard lately bc of anxiety, but i’m kinda managing better now, so i should be able to get over my shit soon. but know that if you’ve sent me a message/ask, i saw it (unless tumblr ate it, but i’ll lyk when i’m done so you know if i didn’t answer that i didn’t get it) and i’m not ignoring you, peopling has just been hard for me lately, and i’m working on fixing that.
