☆ Intersex alt Flag!

An alt Intersex flag as the current one seems a bit bright. I sticked with the color scheme and added the intersex symbols instead of the circle!

The flag does not have any new meanings - meaning, that it still has the same meaning as the current flag! Though the symbol in the middle represents the intersex spectrum in one (and the different colors around the circles meaning, how intersex folk may identify (feminine, masc, neither …))

Ouroboros Intersex ( or Uroboros Intersex )

( ID 1: A yellow flag with a purple Ouroboros in the center. The Ouroboros is a snake eating its own tail, forming a circle. /End ID. )

The Intersex flag by Morgan Carpenter, but with an Ouroboros / Uroboros in place of the circle. The second flag uses the "reversed" color scheme usually associated with the Ipsogender flag!

Made as a request and can be used by any Intersex person for any reason! ( Fun or serious. ) Perisex people do not be weird, ty.

Intersex Flags

[pt Intersex Flags /end pt] I'm a bit nervous to post this but here we go anyways We don't hate / dislike any of the intersex flags around, in fact we adore them!/gen We just wanted to try our hand at some ourselves, for ourselves but also wish to share them

This should hopefully go without saying but perisex/endosex & "transintersex" people please don't use these flags, they're only for intersex / mesosex individuals ^^

The 'mixed' / combo ones with the exception of Bigender Intersex were made with colors from this intersex flag which is often the one we use actually ^^ Flags will be under the cut but also reblogged onto our other blog if needed

Intersex

Our own takes on the intersex flag, we just did these for ourselves to try and get a feel for flag design, they don't have any major meanings really but we aimed to keep purple and yellow as the primary colors, the first has the pink and blue there as we connect heavily to their common connections to male & female due to our own messy identity from being intersex

Intersex Genderfluid

Someone whos both intersex and genderfluid, feeling as tho them being intersex is inherently tied to their genderfluid identity.

Intersex Genderqueer

Someone whos both intersex and genderqueer, feeling as tho them being intersex is inherently tied to their genderqueer identity.

Intersex Bigender

Someone whos both intersex and bigender, feeling as tho them being intersex is inherently tied to their bigender identity.

Welcome to @intersexflags! This is a blog made to catalogue combo, "aesthetic", and similar Intersex flags. I can also take requests!

( For Intersex term coinings and other things that don't fit this blogs' theme, check out @interarchive! )

The mod uses no pronouns ( please use my url or one of my nicknames, Bug, instead! ) and is an Intersex Bigenderflux (Intergender + Interagender), Aroace Gay! I am bodily an adult. My variation gives me chronic health issues so I may not be super active all the time.

You can find the tag directory here (may not have every tag on the blog so please make sure to search terms as well!)

If you have questions about Intersex variations or just want to know more about Intersex individuals in general, here is a link to the InterACT website! You should also check out @intersex-support!

( Please fully spell out any tone indicators with me, like so "(joking)". Shorter acronyms like tone tags are often hard for me to process! )

Flags or content made by others who are bigots, intersexist (including any who believe you can "transition" to being Intersex; please check out Aldernic or even Altersex/Alteradic terms), or anything similar my blogs are not for you.

Do not pry about others medical info and do not start pointless discourse (especially about flags). I support my queer siblings with complex identities and all of my Aspec siblings as well.

Alternative Interace / Interasexual flag

Made for fun, based on the AVEN Asexual flag and the Intersex flag by Morgan Carpenter. Using the Spade symbol because it's cute and I think it contrasts well with the outer black stripes!

Free for any Intersex Ace / Acespec person to use. Perisex people do not be weird!

The Intersex flag was created in July 2013 by Morgan Carpenter of Intersex Human Rights Australia (then known as Organisation Intersex International Australia) to create a flag "that is not derivative, but is yet firmly grounded in meaning". The circle is described as "unbroken and unornamented, symbolising wholeness and completeness, and our potentialities. We are still fighting for bodily autonomy and genital integrity, and this symbolises the right to be who and how we want to be."

Purple circle against a yellow background - Intersexuality. Yellow represents neutrality in gender instead of associating masculinity with blue and femininity with pink. It is also the main color of the Hermaphrodite Flag. The circle symbolizes wholeness.

The organisation describes it as freely available "for use by any intersex person or organisation who wishes to use it, in a human rights affirming community context".

The flag has been utilised by a range of media and human rights organisations. In June 2018, intersex activists took part in Utrecht Canal Pride, waving the flag.

In May 2018, New Zealand became the first country where the intersex flag was raised outside the national parliament. - Wikipedia
