Six Sentence Spicy Sunday

Thank you for the tags @larkral (btw the notification of your holsom time loop fic for check please! set off a whole evening of spiraling over an AWTWB time loop idea, so if that actually happens its your fault), @hushed-chorus and @that-disabled-princess.

Well. I once again sat down and banged out another chapter of Your Fragile Bones Are Mine in like, two days, mostly yesterday. I have no idea if I'll keep up that momentum for the last two chapters, but it's been ... consistently banging around here (non-sexual). That's with betas, I'll be posting very soon.

For Spicy Sunday, here is the sexiest part of a sex-free chapter. Just a bit of dirty flirting. A bit of levity before things occur.

“What time do you leave?” I ask, nudging his nose with mine. He kisses me. Slow and sweet. The air under the sheet is tinged with stale breath and sweat and building heat. It’s perfect. I’m not ready for it to be over. “Just after the ceremony tonight,” he says once he’s broken the kiss. “You?” “Tomorrow morning.” He nods. “I’m sleeping in your bed tonight. I’m going to drool over all your pillows.” He chuckles, and his cool hand closes over the side of my neck. “Menace.” I slot my knee between his, shifting closer as my palm fits to his bare lower back. Our hips press flush. He’s still a little hard. So am I. Maybe I’ll do something about it. I drag my teeth along his jaw. “I’m going to come in your sheets.” “Nightmare.”

Thoughts on Frank and his potential role in "Welcome Home"

Here's a parallel in the new ARG "Welcome Home" that I haven't really seen mentioned anywhere else yet - would love to know if it holds any deeper meaning!

When examing the page accesses through the code "woxyve", I've noticed that the non-looping gif featured on said page eventually turns into a very similar shape to the one that we see Frank holding on Clown's page about the ARG.

This could be a coincidence/reach since the shapes are not entirely the same (different reds and aspect ratios) and the illustration is not fully "canon" - but perhaps there is some kind of connection between these two, which led me to think a lot about Frank, his role in the "Welcome Home" tv show and his relation to the colour red.

Btw, before turning into the red shape similar to the one in the illustration, the gif lingers on several increasingly creepier images of Wally.

I am still not sure what this red corruption might mean in the context of the script page, but there seems to be some kind of relation to Frank (unless I'm reaching and these two shapes just happen to look similar).

Generally, I think that Frank has a very specific role in the ARG - due to several reasons.

His default expression is a frown, while the others are mostly seen smiling.

His house, outfit and character design feature very little of the colour red.

He is the only main character with grey skin.

These design choices very obviously aim to present him as the "straight man" of the show but maybe they could carry some additional meaning with them? the colour red could stand for fun and a silly personality but also some kind of corruption / being blinded by one's emotions. Similarly to the rest of the page, the corruption of the non-looping gif (red) is tied back to Wally. I know many fans see Home (the house) as embodying the story's main corrupting force - and that house is primarily red as well.

Also, his profile states that his knowledge in the show was often discredited for comedic effect, which gives me the impression that whoever is/was controlling these characters wanted to ensure that whatever Frank might end up saying could be labelled as a "joke".

Meaning that if the smartest character of the show were to discover something crucial, he could be easily made fun of and his discoveries could be shoved aside. Perhaps some preventative measure?

Think of Cassandra in the Illiad, who was blessed with the knowledge (!) to see the future but cursed to never be believed by those around her. I think that pretty popular trope and its cursed existence lends itself to the horror genre pretty well! (yes I am comparing the silly puppet ARG to Greek myths but hear me out pls)

In short, I think that if the characters themselves ever start to experience the horror of Welcome Home much like the show's consumers (us + the Restoration Project), Frank will be the first or only one to notice these happenings - and the others won't believe him for quite a while. Also, the colour red might stand for a general corruption or for some kind of obliviousness.

Any ideas on how the script (on whose page the non-looping gif is featured) might tie into this?

for uni im going to be coding with a chatGPT user, so i decided to see how good it is at coding (sure ive heard it can code, but theres a massive difference between being able to code and being able to code well).

i will complain about a specific project i asked it to make and improve on under the cut, but i will copy my conclusion from the bottom of the post and paste it up here.

conclusion: it (mostly) writes code that works, but isnt great. but this is actually a pretty big problem imo. as more and more people are using this to learn how to code, or getting examples of functions, theyre going to be learning from pretty bad code. and then theres what im going to be experiencing, coding with someone who uses this tool. theres going to be easily improvable code that the quote unquote writer wont fully understand going into a codebase with my name of it - a codebase which we will need present for our degree. even though the code is not the main part of this project (well, the quality of the code at least. you need it to be able to run and thats about it) its still a shitty feeling having my name attached to code of this quality.

and also it is possible to get it to write good (readable, idiomatic, efficient enough) code, but only if you can write this code yourself (and are willing to spend more time arguing with the AI than you would writing the code.) most of the things i pointed out to the AI was stuff that someone using this as a learning resource wont know about. if it never gives you static methods, class methods, ABCs, coroutines, type hints, multi-file programs, etc without you explicitly asking for them then its use is limited at best. and people who think that its a tool that can take all the info they need, and give it back to them in a concise, readable way (which is a surprising lot of people) will be missing out without even knowing about it.

i got it to write tic-tac-toe (the standard babee) in python (the lang i have to use for uni ;-; (held at gunpoint here)). my specific prompt was "write me a python program for tictactoe that is written in an object oriented way and allows for future expansion via multiple files"

it separated it into three files below (which i think would run, but i never actually ran any of this code. just reading and judging)

why does board use display instead of __str__ and __repr__?

why is the board stored as 1d instead of 2d? thats just confusing

why does it never early return aside from check_winner? (not a big issue here but kept on choosing to never early return when i asked it to add more methods)

why is there no handling of non-number user inputs?

why are non-int inputs truncated instead of telling the user that they should input ints only?

why is display implemented like that?

why are so many lines so bloody long (wide)?

why is there a redundant self.check_winner() after the while loop in TicTaacToe.play()? and if it wasnt redundant then you could finish the game without there being anything printed telling you that the game is finished?

why is the only comment useless? (this comment wouldnt be useless if it was a doc comment tho, but it aint a doc comment. speaking of, why is there no doc comments?)

these are the more immediate things i saw, but there are other things that are bad here.

whenever i write * this is where it updated the api without changing any usage of the api.

so i ask it to change board.display into __str__ and __repr__, it changes it to __str__*, it does not add a __repr__. asking it to add a __repr__ 1) removes the __str__ and 2) gives me this (the other methods are unchanged)

what. the. fuck. this would imply that board takes in an argument for the boardstate, but it clearly doesnt. after 4 more asks it finally has both __str__ and __repr__, without fixing the fact its implying board takes an optional arg, so i get it to add this arg. anything that needs to print the board still calls display btw.

the reasoning it gave for using display over the repr and str magics was this

While using __str__ and __repr__ is a more idiomatic approach in Python, choosing to have a separate display method can still be a valid choice, especially if the display logic is more complex or if you want to keep the __str__ method for a more concise or formal representation of the object.

which, erm what? why would __str__ be for a concise or formal repr when thats what __repr__ is for? who cares about how complex the logic is. youre calling this every time you print, so move the logic into __str__. it makes no difference for the performance of the program (if you had a very expensive func that prints smth, and you dont want it to run every time you try to print the obj then its understandable to implement that alongside str and repr)

it also said the difference between __str__ and __repr__ every damn time, which if youre asking it to implement these magics then surely you already know the difference?

but okay, one issue down and that took what? 5-10 minutes? and it wouldve taken 1 minute tops to do it yourself?

okay next implementing a tic-tac-toe board as a 1d array is fine, but kinda weird when 2d arrays exist. this one is just personal preference though so i got it to change it to a 2d list*. it changed the init method to this

which works, but just use [[" "] * 3 for _ in range(3)]. the only advantage listcomps have here over multiplying is that they create new lists, instead of copying the pointers. but if you update a cell it will change that pointer. you only need listcomps for the outermost level.

again, this is mainly personal preference, nothing major. but it does show that chatgpt gives u sloppy code

(also if you notice it got rid of the board argument lol)

now i had to explicitly get it to change is_full and make_move. methods in the same damn class that would be changed by changing to a 2d array. this sorta shit should be done automatically lol

it changed make_move by taking row and col args, which is a shitty decision coz it asks for a pos 1-9, so anything that calls make_move would have to change this to a row and col. so i got it to make a func thatll do this for the board class

what i was hoping for: a static method that is called inside make_move

what i got: a standalone function that is not inside any class that isnt early exited

the fuck is this supposed to do if its never called?

so i had to tell it to put it in the class as a static method, and get it to call it. i had to tell it to call this function holy hell

like what is this?

and - AND - theres this code here that WILL run when this file is imported

which, errrr, this files entire point is being imported innit. if youre going to have example usage check if __name__ = "__main__" and dont store vars as globals

now i finally asked it to update the other classes not that the api has changed (hoping it would change the implementation of make_move to use the static method.) (it didnt.)

Player.make_move is now defined recursively in a way that doesnt work. yippe! why not propagate the error ill never know.

also why is there so much shit in the try block? its not clear which part needs to be error checked and it also makes the prints go offscreen.

after getting it to fix the static method not being called, and the try block being overcrowded (not getting it to propagate the error yet) i got it to add type hints (if u coding python, add type hints. please. itll make me happy)

now for the next 5 asks it changed 0 code. nothing at all. regardless of what i asked it to do. fucks sake.

with ej, in my au, he doesnt really. like conflict, especially since his own body is changing into something that isnt human; he already has enough on his plate already, doesnt need to go bury an extra body because he let his temper get the better of him

and every now and then, that mindset of avoiding conflict bleeds to how he views you and your attitude

hes happy that you can defend yourself, like hoodie he admires it; but at the same time he gets so scared that youre going to pick a fight with the wrong person or get hit in the wrong spot, and..

he does not pity those who are dumb enough to rile you up, though..

overall he worries for you and already has enough on his plate with himself ... but dont think that he sees tending to you as a burden! hell do it regardless of what caused your injury

Alright people, just got my early access of the Magnus Protocol Premiere. Been thinking about whether I should do a live blog like I did for Magnus Archives. Still not sure but we're just gonna start it and see where it's going. Tbh I've been so out of the loop with the podcast I didn't even know the premiere episode was coming and I have no idea when further episodes are getting released. I thought it would start next year! Anyway, I'm gonna put all my reactions down below under the read more so I'm not accidentally spoiling anyone.

So glad they included a transcript, I would've already been lost with all these voices. That's what I loved about tma, never got confused there because the introduction to the characters was so nice and slow

I actually read a fanfic like that before. Immediatly though about it when I heard Alex's voice. Jon was sorta trapped in the tape recorder. All Martin and co had were his recorded statements on tape and at some point Jon got like powerful enough to be able to communicate through the tape recorder I think. Was a really great read. Would be funny if this turns out to be similar

Hey so after an intense amount of fishing and banana peels I decided to play the epilogue as a palette cleanser and discovered the island might be back now?? So ty for sending me on a fishing journey bc I would've never noticed.

The reason i say this btw is bc if you don't point out the dialogue during a loop to the daydreamer about her sister, she just seems to think hard during the party b4 returning to daydreaming. HOWEVER, if you did she asks the elder if she had one. The elder says she doesn't think so but her memory isn't what it used to be and asks her why to which she says she dreamed of one. She then describes her sister and the elder interrupts saying that the sister would say she'd travel the world and see every country on earth. When the daydreamer says thats exactly what she said in the dream and asks how she knew. The elder says she's not sure but I can see you having one, that they can imagine it vividly which makes the daydreamer happy. AND NOTHING SUDDENLY GLITCHED! THE UNIVERSE DIDNT REWRITE THEIR CONVERSATION!!?? So yeah ty for sending me on a fishing quest!

OH YEAH!! i got that during my first playthrough, i didnt know it was missable tbh :0

im not sure if id take it as confirmation that the island has fully returned, since the daydreamers memory (and the elders memory, who knows if its old age or the other thing) of her sister is still a bit off, but theres possibly something going on here thats.. more lenient ? about peoples memories and perceptions regarding it and/or connections to it. either that or that conversation was indirect enough that it didnt require being rewritten.. idk!! shits weird!!

the situation w the island and its very (non)existence is honestly super interesting to me bc its like. its not completely, physically gone, is it? during act 4 after beating the king if you have sif look outside towards the sun, they can see it - if only briefly, since they stop themself before the universe has the chance to. so its. still there?? but what happened to everyone else who lived there, besides the few we know about? the daydreamers sister didnt just cease to exist, did she? sif had parents, and other people they knew there, what happened to them? are all the former residents end up just.. wandering around random areas unable to remember anything, like the king? did some actually disappear? but theres still physical proof of it in written form, so thats unlikely.. probably.. but the land itself is still there, somehow, so.. ?????????????

didnt mean to get into all that here cksbksjs anyway ur welcome!! :] its so fun to find new things in this game theres SO much stuff hidden away that u dont even think to look for, especially when its by accident!! what a game .........

I promise you won't be told a story with an answer, with some "here's how I fixed my life & the journey it took to get there" I promise that there won't be a "hope to get better" which makes now feel so stark in contrast. I promise I wont make it seem simple or linear or a sudden "aha moment" to make things suddenly seem clear.

What I promise is a story, to the best of my ability, where there are no weeds to pull. no seeds to plant, no fruits to pick. The garden will grow and die, change & cycle back to the beginning. And through it all, in this moment with the dappled sun reflecting off the dew, the weeds in a thick blanket, forgotten fruit as a feast for the birds - we are wild and it is beautiful, no matter how much they want a cultivated, perfectly trimmed and oh-so-stale-garden.

btw i'm playing slay the princess and while i think its fun and i enjoy it mostly, but that one post about how its rancid to turn any support of someone into a simping accusation, as in you're only support them bc you want to fuck them, is literally about damsel path of this game asdfghjk

this was the first path i got and it was so jarring to me, bc like. i exhausted all dialogue options, i tried to learn as much as possible about her, and in the end i decided that like. ethical choice is to NOT murder her just bc voice in my head said so. like yeah, she was obv an unhuman abomination, but i already saw protag's arm, so i knew i'm playing abomination too. and then when narrator attacked, it became clear that she's well-intended, so like yeah, i tried to resist and NOT kill her bc i don't want to let some freak whose possessing me murder non-hostile person?? like there was nothing about liking her or smth, when freeing her, i even chose an option that said smth ok im gonna free you bc i don't trust ppl telling me to kill you even more, but i'm watching you. it was decidedly un-romantic.

so i was extremely confused when then in the following loop the game pivoted HARD into making fun of player for being in love with her smh, and like. weirdly passive aggressively implying my choices previously were erasing her actual personality and turning her into a waifu. like??? where that came from??? like guys i play no kill playthroughs in dishonored not because i'm simping for every single guard

idk i feel like tha route should have hard more defined prerequisites that could justify arguing that "anime waifu" was your perception of her. like idk, if you didn't talk to her at all and immediately freed her. or if you said some creepy shit about how you're gonna be together or you're savior or smth. bc rn i think it undermines general thesis of the game, like it took me way too long to realize that it was about your perceptions shaping her, bc damsel didn't map with my perceptions at all, so i thought ok she's just changing at random i guess for like most of first playhrough

A/N: Hello everyone! Damn its been awhile! hope everyone’s having a great day! Happy new year! Heres a oneshot for now! btw this song called “Once Upon A Time” is in the oneshot! the link is here if you want to listen to it! Also, would you guys mind if I start writing for different fandoms? Please answer in the comments :D Summary: You tell the children your past with a rhyme. Alma overhears this rhyme and talks to you. Warning/s: some angst, undertale/deltarune spoilers kind of?? Fandom & Relationship/ship: Miss Peregrines Home for Peculiar Children, Alma Peregrine x Reader.

“Please tell us Miss Y/n! We promise we wont be disappointed!” Fiona and Claire said. You were currently amidst of almost all the younger children. Horace was reading outside under the tree, while all the other younger children are around you, begging to know your past. You were an... interesting peculiar as someone might say. You did just come into the loop unplanned, nor did anyone knew you. Horace’s dream didnt even show you coming into the loop. “Alright, alright. What about a rhyme to go with it hm?” You said, finally giving up to the children's begging. You walked over to the living room and sat down. “Alright then, everyone ready?” you said, making sure everyone is ready to listen. “Every good rhyme starts with “Once Upon A Time!” You sang, clapping your hands. The children clapping along with you. “Long ago, Far away, Centuries before our day. Humans lived, monsters roamed, both shared earth and sky as home.” You sang once more, remembering the time you saw a few monsters in the sky, and also seeing another one near your house. Luckily, for you, they didnt see you. The reason being the next line in the ‘rhyme’ you were currently singing. “Yet this peace came undone, war was waged and humans won.” You were scared during that time, the main reason being, this happened during the war. You were lucky you even survived that one. Thanks to a friend, you managed to become immortal. You looked like a regular 24 year old, but in reality, you were an estimated 400-410 years old, and thats before you factor in the years you were in the loop. “Forced below, monsters fell. Humans trapped them with a spell.” You remembered the time you saw this happen with your own eyes. You were going to the village and took a wrong turn. There, you saw the countess with the guards. As you heard the spell itself. “Cape eas, in eternum sub monte vivent, non salvabitur.” The countess said, the monsters being put in under the cave. “Listen children, to my words: Ebbot will eat you, beware the curse!” You sang, as you remembered the warning the countess said. Since the countess asked for everyone to come to the townhall. That exact line was what she said, unfazed that the children might be traumatized. “Monster teeth go clack, clack, clack” Your mother, sang this rhyme to you when you were 7 years old. And kept on singing it until you were 10. Now your singing it to a bunch of younger children. “If you climb the mountain, you wont come back! Human child, human child, wont turn around. Human child, Human child - oops they fell down! ” You sang once more, now changing the rhyme your mother once told you. Now it basing off your actual past, and not a rhyme your mother told you. This way they can enjoy your past, even if its dark. “Human child, human child, look out below.. down underground where the monsters go.” The serenade you were singing were currently bringing back memories. You recalled the time you failed to follow your mothers rules, and went to Mount Ebbot. You saw the monsters. They clearly were mad at humanity. “Oops dropped your heart, be careful in the dark. Someone might take it, break it apart.” Now this line, was a reference of the monsters powers. They could absorb human souls. The reason humans won was, that almost all of the monsters equal to just 1 human soul, and the monsters surrendered. That’s the main reason why the humans won. “Trouble on the left, Trouble on the right... Will you spare them, run, or fight?” You were still clapping, after all, this was considered a nursery rhyme after the war. And this helps with the children not fully understanding it. “Oops dropped your heart... Be careful in the dark. Someone might take it, break it apart. Trouble on the left, Trouble on the right, Will you spare them? Run or fight?” You sang, finally ending the song. The children were surprised, they didnt expect this, not the song of course, but you? singing? They were baffled. But while the children were happy, now having a vague description of your past, one thing you didnt know, was that, your girlfriend, Alma, overheard this ‘rhyme’ and unlike the children, she understood the meaning of this. You went about your day, trying to clear your mind of these, instances. ≪•◦ ❈Time skip to dinner! ◦•≫ “Miss Y/n, may I talk to you please?” Alma said, in a stoic voice, it being clear that this is a command, not a request. “Of course Miss Peregrine.” You said. Starting to stand up and follow Alma. You went into her office. “What is it Alma?” You asked. “Y/n, I heard your rhyme earlier, and wanted to talk about it.” She sighed, clearly disappointed. You were afraid, afraid she might dump you and throw you out of the loop. “O-of course Alma.” You said, your voice being shaky. “I’m not mad. I just wish you should’ve said it to me sooner darling.” She said, tears welled up in your eyes, threatening to fall. “I’m sorry” You sobbed, going forward, to keep her close to you. “Dont be sorry darling.” ︶꒦꒷♡꒷꒦︶

Farscape rewatch: 2x01

I really like this episode, Mind the Baby, because it leads so beautifully into themes of S2: the ambiguity of Crais, the growing bond between John and Aeryn (and them being each other's solace), the bond between the crew, the shadow of Scorpius and John's unbalance transforming into insanity. I know S3 is most people's favorite, but Season 2, with its sheer desperation, is mine.

Long so behind keep reading...

John is quite on edge in MtB and it's only the beginning. He is the one threatening to hunt down Crais. He is the one who walks into Talyn and manages to kidnap Crais through sheer balls and disregard for safety.

This is not a well man. When Crais says Talyn will kill him if he kills Crais, John says it’s a fair price and he means it. Or how about this:

His trademark snark though is so old John peeking through this new walking trauma iteration and it remains constant through the whole run because it really is his coping mechanism.

His hatred of Crais (understandably) is set in stone but John is getting edgier and more off-key even as early as here, and you can tell. I remember reading BB say that he played John as reaction too much to little things and not enough to big ones because torture messed him up and you can see that (and of course, later the writers incorporated this into their concept of the chip).

And the way their roles switch and how far John has come from the naive sweet pacifist of the start and how much further he still has to go; he couldn’t have survived otherwise but it is still tragic.

And yet, as early as this, you see that Aeryn is John's comfort and vice versa. When Aeryn is feeling disappointed about failing to get Talyn out of Crais' grasp, you see her and John sitting, comfortable, folded into each other, and he is playing with her hair, and the sheer peace, for both of them, of the gestures and the posture and the words, is immeasurable. John is stilled and Aeryn is at peace. It made me think of the scene in S4's Mental as Anything, where once again, Pilot's den is their peaceful place, under very different circumstances (I think Pilot is OK with it more because of Aeryn than of John).

Aeryn never taking easy solace is such a constant about her. But also, all these incredibly tender, open scenes are between them when they are in no way official couple and neither has even began to define, even to themselves, what they are to each other, somehow hits even harder.

(Side note - how telling it is that here Aeryn is the optimist, the one who thinks maybe Crais can change and John, the one who started the show always willing to give everyone a second chance, is having difficulty with the concept.)

Oh and earlier - his and Aeryn's non-good-bye and damn Crais or anyone else who is watching, with interlaced hands, and the looks, and the not-saying-goodbye? I literally let out and audible noise.

Love Crais pretty much rolling his eyes btw...

And then we also have D'Argo and John bond (eeee!), and as always hilarious.

And of course the sense of crew as family as we see Chiana's disbelief and joy when she sees it's really Crichton, but also how she is cautious now and won’t believe it at first.

Her delight is contagious and you get the sense of family reassembling when she jumps into John's arms (and what a different entrance onto Moya for John from S1: he comes in, hauling Crais, with a gun cocked).

But yes, I consistently adore what they did with Chiana and John in this show, the way they are so consistently snarky but caretaker older brother and bratty but loyal younger sister.

And Rygel's joy and the fact that Rygel and Chiana decided to stick with Moya no matter what. And of course the layers and double crosses and the shadows of Crais and Scorpius. I can't wait to rewatch what happens next.

PS I could rewatch this scene on a loop forever...

1. The thing that got you hooked on hockey

i am a lifelong member of the 'being insane about sports' club in that i still have a poster of my baseball team's 2005 roster hanging over my bed & used to get SO pissed in middle school when boys in my class had incorrect college basketball opinions. but hockey was just? never on my radar?? due to the south texas of it all. then i went to college for broadcast in new york state & made friends with some guys majoring in sports broadcast and was like wait ....... there's a sport they talk about that i can't talk about (i loved knowing more about sports than boys so this was a serious blow) (football doesnt count i decided when i was a kid that i didn't care about football therefore its not real) & a friend of mine with whom i watched the world series was like no i've got you i can get you into hockey. i realize now she just wanted an excuse to proselytize about the new york islanders.

but anyway yeah!! i stuck with being fond of them because of her & then added the stars because as a Texan i had to root for them & also tyler seguin hooked me. i was a casual fan until there were absolutely No Sports in 2020 & i accidentally stumbled upon hockeyblr just in time to get hyper mega insane about hockey before the bubble playoffs.

2. Your first ever fandom friend

like any normal well adjusted person i feel weird calling someone my friend even if we're friendly because what if they don't actually like me (again this is normal & well adjusted behavior) that said tanya txstars was the first hashtag mutual i had in starsblr whomst i feel like i talked to via the tags!!

3. The jersey you would most like to own

wait have i ever mentioned that i own a mooterus jersey. it was like eighty dollars off depop because its a) womens cut & b) a size small which means that while it does technically fit, my tits stop it from looking like, you know, a jersey should look on the human body. so i'd love one that i can wear without feeling ridiculous!! through logan stankoven all things are possible!!! i'm generally a jersey thrifter so i do love the $16 tyler jersey i found but im sure one day ill bite the bullet and buy a non-secondhand otter jersey.

4. YOUR player (you only get ONE so choose wisely)

unfortunately goalies are inherently endearing & then on top of that he's also insane in the most confounding way possible so jake oettinger is My Guy whether he likes it or not

5. A pairing that deserves more fic

as someone who has written just over half of the robotter fic out there in the world: please put more robotter fic out there in the world. also i think robo & otter both deserve to fuck otter's goalie partner. also also it's not technically a pairing but i think we as a people need to embrace delly's clear & evident love for throuples and start sticking him in other peoples relationships. it's what he would want <3

6. Your favourite on-ice moment

jason robertson laying flat on his back on the ice after finishing his first career hat trick lives in my head rent free btw. if you even care. it just plays on a fucking loop up there. also the the dellymiro delly's first goal celly. also also that time those flames fans tried to actually curse jake midgame. like on the one hand what the fuck but on the other hand i actually admire that kind of dedication yk

Enoch - a newsie, when headlines get too dry, hell send off millard or hugh to make a better one or if he wanted to do it himself, hed make a tiny little doll with a knife and make it chase people around before it gets destroyed

Emma - a newsie, shed still have her lead boots but she would take them off and float away if she were being chased by bulls and shed do it right infront of them because she knows that no one would believe them ( a person floating? ridiculous!! )

Olive - non-newsie, she isnt trusted by anyone ir herself to handle papers as she doesnt have strong enough gloves ( i mean, its 1899 and ontop of that emmas shoes arent as strong, if she jumps too high she will float away ), so no one really offers her a paper but if she is offered one, she wont buy it

Jacob - a newsie, like all the others, pretty basic but always on edge since only him can see the Hollows but there arent alot in New York

Horace - non-newsie, hes a really fancy guy so i doubt he'll fall into the "rugged" and "dirty" liftstyle of a newsie. he wont buy every newspaper offered to him like Bronwyn and Fiona would but he would buy any paper that sounds interesting enough or if theyve got an ad for new clothing in a nearby store

Hugh - headline maker ( a custom name given to him and millard by clair, bronwyn and fiona ), will set swarms of bees of for a juicier headline or just for the fun of it

Millard - headline maker, strips and pushes people over for a laugh and throws things at people/makes things float infront of people for headlines or for shits n giggles

Fiona - non-newsie, she doesnt sell but she buys any newspaper offered to her. she also will trap people in vines and interrogate people until they admit beating up hugh or millard or any of her peculiar mates before setting them off, because like emma, she knows that no one would believe them

Bronwyn - non-newsie, shes like fiona, she will buy any paper offered and will interrogate people until they admit their faults. she also holds a "strongest girl" title in jacobis because she goes there to arm wrestle really buff men every friday night ( people are shocked that a 9-10 year old can flip a grown ass men off a table with a single arm )

The twins - non-newsie, they work as one of those "sidewalk show" performance people. they will do mime shows n such for money.

claire - non-newsie, she helps the twins with their performances like always donating any penny she can find on the floor or any money that the mouth on the back of her head will throw up
