hello! my name is jay (he/they/she in order of preference). im a trans, disabled and mentally ill artist who makes AAC cards on tumblr that anybody can access! this blog is going to be mostly disability based: me posting my own aac and reblogging posts from other disabled people.

i am verbal. i can speak most of the time. i experience episodic speech loss, or losing speech. this does not make me semiverbal. i’m not “going nonverbal”. this clarification is important surrounding AAC cards.

if you want to request a certain AAC card feel free to leave an ask! im in school and working and therefore dont have infinite free time, but i will try and get to it eventually. i am also disabled and sometimes will not have the energy to get to things, please be patient. all of the AAC cards on here are free to download and use. nobody should have to pay to communicate. about me : i’m 17, a lesbian and trying my best to educate myself by listening to other disabled voices. i also really like bugs, so feel free to talk to me about them. i LOVE plants and nature and everything like that. rewild your gardens. this is a side blog so i can’t follow from it sorry:(
