You don't realize there are so many terms JK used to describe JM until you start digging. I tried. I honestly did. To bunch them all together into one post. But I 100% know that I've missed something, forgot something on the way. So, I apologize in advance for that.

But then, I went to all the trouble to create this post, so what am I apologizing for?

Just know there is probably more that I missed (and probably the most obvious I should have remembered off the batt - shame on me).

Now, you see, JK used to have to do these in the early years. Have to because he was asked to in interviews and shows. And in the early years he was a little/big shit, and used to rank JM last. I do think he had his reasons for it (didn't want to show his crush, didn't want to rank the older hyungs last, JM was the one he was closest with and it was easier for him to maybe apologize later on or maybe he thought he could make it up to him later), but whatever they were, what he did was inexcusable, because he really hurt JM by doing this (you clearly see it in the last ranking he was asked to do in 2014). Sadly, I'm not sure he was mature enough to understand it yet. In early 2015 he was asked about it, why he ranks JM last? Is JM really unattractive in his opinion? And his immediate answer was no. That he did it for laughs. Again, not understanding how hurtful it was.

But you see, JK didn't think JM wasn't good looking. Quite the opposite. He even said it, just not loud enough, not where it had more of an impact (I mean, look at how those clips circulate and fans really do believe this is what JK thought back in the day while he obviously did not).

This is what JK thought about JM, not those stupid rankings where he thought he was there to entertain the audience delivering JM as the sacrificial lamb, maybe thinking JM's over the top reactions would be entertaining (outwards, cause he too thought he was there to entertain the audience and in the meantime was hurt to the core).

Before I move on to JK's final ranking in 2019, his "making things right for all to see and hear", I want to us to look a little more at that description JK wrote way back in 2015. You still see the hesitation not to give him a too outstanding mark in looks (he ranks him #1 in BTS but only gives him a 50 out of 100 mark). This could be him not wanting to show his crush or not wanting it to go to JM's head, lol. With the way JK was behaving, at times having to scrape his tongue off the floor and others having to adjust the jewels, I would say that in his head that mark was way higher than a 50, lol.

JM's charm points: eye smile, strong body, thighs (man has a thing for thighs too, we know that).

But our boy, he grew up. He matured. He understood. And he wanted to set things straight. Because to him, 2019 JK, JM ranked no. 1 in looks (surprise surprise) not on paper, but bringing it up as a question he 'happened' to pick, out loud. No real ranking was going on, it was only important for him for everyone to know that JM was #1.

Now, this one is so much bigger than people give it. The way JK talks to JM, media room, all media outlets there, mid a sort of interview, there is a reason JM was trying to flee the scene, lol. JK calling him Jimin-ah like that, and following with "where you going?". This is his hyung, his elder, it's just not done, and most definitley not in the surroundings they were in. So yes, this one is big. JK dropping the honorifics calling him Jimin-ah, using a term of affection, and following it with "you're always no. 1 to me."

he doesn't really use that term too much when it comes to JM.

But he did use it once that I can think of:

Maybe because it's a little detached, less personal. While pretty, especially a man calling another man pretty, that feels more personal. Pretty is not a term usually used to call a man, even more so by another man. This was back in 2015 and from the interaction we can see that JM was definitley not used to JK complimenting him. He got so flustered and felt there was an ulterior motive, which there was to start with, but definitley not after the success of JK's mission after the first time he called JM and got the "thank you" he was supposed to get.

Anyway, I can't for the life of me (getting old maybe) cannot think of another occasion, especially a later one, where JK calls JM handsome.

Hi Stormblessed (dope name btw),

Don't know if this is the best place for this essay or the right time but I need to word-vomit this out, or I'm gonna be a JK-style spaced out zombie all day.

It's a truth universally acknowledged that a big part of the fandom tends to mis-characterize the members based on edits, fanfics and out-of-context clips. Something probably mostly to do with how social media platforms have been pushing for these short videos over the last few years. Why watch 300 hours of original content (some of which is behind a paywall) if you can get the gist of it (you think) from TikToks?

My particular point has to do with how that allows for the narrative (aka made up shit) especially around Jimin to grow. All of the members get that treatment, the maknaes worse due to their popularity, but due to how a big part of Army are also tkk shippers, Jimin is the one who's portrayal often skews more negative. The others' perceptions just are neutral or fantastical in a sense that they're more like badly written male leads. Don't get me wrong, solos throwing around bs is nothing singular to him but no one gets accused (said completely seriously btw) of sleeping his way into BTS or the release of his album.

After I saw this vitriol for the first time I had to actually sit down because wtf.

And then I started wondering why that is, and came to the conclusion that it is:

(Internalized) misogyny and sexism

Blatant homophobia

Jimin is the member the most obviously in tune of his femininity. He hasn't subscribed to gender norms for a decade at least, and once his hyper-masculine-esque persona from the debut days was dismissed, he ventured further. (That isn't to dismiss the growth they all have shown in that area.)

But antis, akgaes, Solos and shippers take that femininity and apply every stereotype and misogynistic idea to JM.

Traits they f.e. hate:

He is openly flirty with many people (members especially)

He is very physical, and touch is arguably one of his love languages and go-to way of comforting smn

He is pretty af and knows it

He's sensual and sexy and knows it

He's cute

He's sweet (aka a good fucking human)

But why does that make "them" hate him so much?

Because they have been taught that these traits in women (like themselves) are bad. What makes it worse, however, is that the men around JM all know these things to be true, acknowledge them as true and compliment him on them. In the case of JK (since this is about Jikook at the end of the day):

He loves flirty JM despite sometimes not knowing how to handle him (ehem the 'shameless convo'). He flirts back (fe the whole live where he was in bed begging for JM to come over)

Tkkers and such love pulling the "JK hates it" card. Which is nonsense, considering how he seeks JM's comfort when he's down (esp during concerts), actively cuddles JM (In The Soop) and never uses all his big muscles to shove JM but rather to just carry him around. Compare that to the jokingly disgusted face Yoongi pulls when Tae tries to hold his hand, and it becomes glaringly obvious that no one who says the members dislike touching each other has a leg to stand on. Calling it harassment goes so far beyond any line of sanity...

JK - like all of BTS - acknowledges that Jimin's beauty is simply out of this world. They are regularly stunned by his appearance

Just gonna point to JK's reaction to Filter, Blood Sweat & Tears, Black Swan, and Set Me Free pt 2 here. JK calls JM sexy so often it's hilarious

* inserts clip of absolutely WHIPPED JK after JM cutely punches him during that performance of Boy With Luv *. Also we know that "cute" his JK's type as he himself admitted.

Jimin has been Jungkook's comfort person for so long, and with such depth that he dedicated a whole trip and video to him. They care for each other so deeply that the only logical conclusion was to go to the military together.

Aka: he is all that they hate in the girls/women in their normal life so they can't do nothing but tear him down. They envy how comfortable he seems in his own skin, how easily he goes from sexy to cute, how loved he is by those around him. On top of that is how gay people are still perceived and treated by a lot of countries around the world. No matter what they say, being an army and shipping men doesn't make you automatically an ally and non-homophobic.

They treat Jimin like they would most likely treat the lgtbqia+ people in real life: something to be careful of, someone dishonest and slutty.

They conflate everything they hate about themselves and gay people and * boom * out come frankly terrifying tweets, fanfics and shit.

Contrast that with how these very same people fetishize the relationship between Tae and Jungkook - either viewing them like men who watch p_rn involving two women, or a self-insert with how little character they have - and that's the state of the army shipping community. They could be Barbie dolls getting smashed together and you wouldn't know the difference.

I'm not saying Jikookers are better in that, but the language they tend to use is incredibly different.

Jikook Week 9 Complete ✔️(06/02-13/02/2024)

Their ninth week and the second month in the military is now complete. It's time to celebrate this major milestone with a look back at this week in 2021.

This was the BE era. Between 31/01 and 06/02 BTS member notes were published on TwiX. RM introduced Life Goes On, Jin and JK introduced St ay, Suga introduced Telepathy, JH & JM introduced Dis -ease and Tae introduced Blue and Grey

On the 09/02/21 Run BTS Episode 128 Hello 2021 was released. It was filmed while Suga was out of action with his shoulder surgery but they made sure he was still represented.

This is a really enjoyable episode with a huge number of memorable moments, only a few of which I have included here. It was a studio shoot where they played three games: 1) Liar; 2) Harmonica Song; and 3) Red Light, Green Light.

Liar - All the members except one had the right word and the sixth member is the liar. They all had to ambiguously describe the thing and then everyone had to decide who was the liar.

In Round 2, Jin, king of comedy, had Jihope rolling on the floor.

In Round 3, there was a stalemate and they decided to call Suga to choose between RM and Jimin as the liar. Jimin knew straight away that Yoongi would pick him and he was right. Unfortunately, Jimin was not the liar and we were treated to a JK victory dance.

Harmonica Song - JK was first and as usual Jimin couldn't help but comment on his cuteness.

JK's ear for music reigned supreme throughout the game and he easily guessed Mic Drop when it was Jimin's turn.

At the end of the round, RM and Jimin had to do the penalty and Jimin got the worst of it as RM the God of Destruction struck again.

Red Light, Green Light - This whole last game was a blast. J-Hope went first and JK managed to steal the photo but his victory was short lived. He's so adorable when he gets the giggles.

Jin and V gave us this moment....

...and Jimin who went last was assailed on both sides by Tae and JK.

Tae made a grab for the photo, and it looked like it was all over, but Jin had other ideas.

Great entertainment all round and it reminded me of why so many people became fans of BTS during the pandemic. They were out there spotlighting the group's unique dynamic and spreading laughter and positivity just when it was most needed.

On the 11th February, BTS released its New Year Greetings. They always look so good in hanbok and this year was no exception.

Times Jungkook Debunked Every Other Ship

People love to ship Jungkook with every woman that breathes next to him and well, Tae. Really, they love to ship him with everyone and anyone that has a name that doesn’t start with Jim and end with In. However, Jungkook has time and time again shown us where his affections lie. It’s not like he’s always doing it intentionally or to always prove a point. He, like anyone in a relationship, is exclusive when it comes to his partner. He does things for only Jimin that debunks any theories that involve him being with anyone other than Jimin. Let’s take a look at his “exclusivity.”

Birthday Gifts

Giving Birthday gifts in and of itself doesn’t scream relationship. However, giving a birthday present to only one member out of a 7 person group does raise a few red flags. 

This moment doesn’t necessarily debunk the notion that Jungkook is dating someone outside the group but it 100% debunks the notion that he’s dating Tae or anyone else in BTS.  Because let’s be real...if JK gave Jimin his supposed non boyfriend a gift for his birthday and not Tae, his supposed boyfriend then JK is a crappy boyfriend!

Also, let’s not forget the most romantic birthday gift of all...the all expense paid trip to Tokyo with the complimentary romantic Vlog dedicated to none other than Jimin--GCF Tokyo. 

Jungkook has never featured another member in his GCF’s the way in which he did and continued to do for Jimin. Even when it was suggested that he make one with Tae JK refused and kept making and featuring Jimin. With this Birthday gift Jungkook debunked every rumor that he was dating anyone other than Jimin. 

Some people like to play the “friends do this for friends” card and that earns them the biggest eye roll known to man kind because...really? Do friends take friends on vacation? Yes. Do friends create travel vlogs with their friends? Yes! But let’s not pretend that’s all that happened here. JK took Jimin on an all expense paid trip to Tokyo...he legit paid for everything--airfare, lodging, food, shopping and excursions--he later talked about how broke he was after that trip. He then documented that trip but for “some reason” forgot to include himself in that documentation. He made a 4 minute video highlighting just Jimin’s experience, zooming in on his features and made the audio a freaking love song! Don’t play the “it was a friend trip” card because there isn’t a person alive that if gifted with that trip and that vlog wouldn’t see it as romantic. And there isn’t a person alive that wouldn’t break up with/Kill their partner if they did that for their “just friend.” Jungkook debunked every other ship with this gift. Point, blank, period!

Compliments

I want to preface by saying giving people compliments doesn’t in itself mean anything. Friends give and should give each other compliments all the time. However, there is a boundary. Calling your friend “sexy” is a lot different than calling your friend “handsome.” This is especially true when you are in a relationship. Even in a relationship I am allowed to say people are handsome...but if I were to call my “just friend” sexy...that would hold a whole new meaning and I’d be in hot water. Handsome is just a general observation of attractiveness. Sexy implies desire! It’s saying you evoke sensuality and often times make “me” horny! 

Jungkook calls Jimin sexy...A LOT! And he Uwus over how cute Jimin is All the time. Not to mention he does it right in front of everyone’s salad. . . 

With the amount of times JK calls JM sexy and cute in front of members there’s no way he’s dating anyone else in BTS or in the world other than JM. It would be very cruel for JK to be dating Tae but constantly call Jimin Sexy in front of him.

Some might say he’s just being funny when he says it...it’s very clear that many times JK is more than joking...he gets choked up. Also...he is constantly calling Jimin cute. He thinks everything about Jimin is cute...even his toes.

  When JK was asked what his favorite part of members was JK  responded with a picture of Suga’s wrist, Jin’s finger, Tae’s ear, RM’s hand, J-Hope’s eye, and drum roll please. . . . . JM’s entire body. 

Now again this alone doesn’t debunk JK dating someone outside of BTS. I can imagine someone making an argument that this only proves JK is closest with JM. Now while this argument is weak it’s at the very least logical. An illogical argument would be that in light of this, JK is dating Tae (or any other member of BTS that isn’t JM). This is illogical because why would JK say he likes all of Jimin but only a part of his supposed boyfriend Tae? 

With this post JK completely destroyed the notion that taekook is real. He also destroyed the notion that he’s dating anyone other than JM!

Clinginess

There’s a reason satellite Jeon became JK’s honorary name. There’s also a reason why JM constantly jokes that JK is always copying him. When you are with someone all the time you start to adopt their habits...it’s natural and can’t be helped. 

Jungkook is always with Jimin. A Staff member even said “he never saw Jimin and Jungkook separated backstage.” Jimin has said “Jungkookie and I tend to stick together so often.” And JK said, “All the time, it’s just the two of us doing something at night.

I mean they are together so much that even members confuse their rooms.

The first pic Tae thinks JM’s room is JK’s (this in itself should prove Taekook aren’t a couple...the boy doesn’t even know where his apparent boyfriends room is lol). The last two pics you have Vmin choosing to share a room together and Hobi by impulse saying JM and JK will take this room. It was his knee jerk response because it’s what’s common.

Just the sheer amount of time Jikook spend together at odd hours disproves every other ship...because why wouldn’t JK be spending that time with his significant other...why would he choose to spend that time with JM ? What girl friend wouldn’t feel insecure about this?

Skinship

Last but certainly not least...SKINSHIP. I know I know...Jungkook doesn’t only engage in skinship with JM. He does it with Jin, Hobi, and Tae also. The difference is the way in which JK allows JM to touch him and the way in which he only touches JM. 

JK will hug, sit on other members laps, and even somewhat cuddle with other members. I say somewhat because typically he’s on the receiving end or not even aware (I.e. asleep). The only times he has been aware and has actively chosen to cuddle is typically with JM and sometimes Hobi also. JK however, has only ever sucked JM’s ear and allow JM to to suck his neck and rub up all on his chest. 

All in All...Jungkook consistently debunk Taekook, or any other ship he’s included in. Sometimes (More recently it seems) it’s intentional...most of the time it’s just him engaging with his partner how partners engage...exclusively.

We Need To Talk About Shipping

I just want to put this out there since this website seems to be full of delusional shippers who are pushing fictional narratives or chains of events that literally never happened irl. Now personally, I don't mind casual shipping (big gasp, I know). Like if you think two people are cute together or have great chemistry, that's fine; ppl tend to reflect their own desires onto other people/things, whether they be fictional or real ... create your stories, write your fics, draw some nice pictures ...  the problem lies when you can no longer decipher your own fictional stories of your favorite ship from reality. If you have gotten to the point where you feel the need to argue over what ship is REAL in a space where these types of relationships haven't even been confirmed or acknowledged ... kindly exit the fandom and only come back after taking classes in human decency. If BTS hasn't confirmed a relationship, then we as fans must accept that as our reality. Of course, many of us have our speculations, but we should never overstep and promote those realms of possibility as true. You are allowed to think something might be real, but don't turn that idea of realness into false delusions about fabricated events. If you are in the ask box of a stranger accusing a BTS member of cheating on another BTS member with another BTS member... please take the time to reevaluate your life choices. I've seen jkkrs and tkkrs argue for hours over things that literally never happened. How can you guys accuse BTS members of purposely sabotaging another member in the name of a ship? I saw a jikook post that said JM was purposely trying to tick TH off by being 'intimate' with JK. Are you sure you're talking about Jimin? Like, Park Jimin? Kim Taehyung's best friend? That Jimin? One of the best examples that I can think of (right now) is JK's 25th birthday live when he told Jin that none of the members came to visit him for his birthday except for JM and HS. He confirmed TWICE that TH did not come to see him. Now normal people would look at this and just move on, bc we can understand that the other members probably sent happy birthday texts or even gave him a phone call. Just bc something is not done publicly does not mean it didn't happen. But anyways, tkkrs had the AUDACITY of accusing JK of lying, running with a fictitious lie that he had only said he didn't come to 'protect' TH. So are HS and JM not relevant in this equation at all? Did JK purposely mention JM and HS to put them in danger? You DO NOT get to accuse people that YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW of these types of things. Who the hell do you think you are? (also, I'm not targeting tkkrs, I understand that not every single one of you is a bad egg, but this is just the first example I could think of) Y'all need to throw blogs and youtube channels (*cough* taekook-lives *cough*) that have fake stories and leaked photos as evidence away. UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, DO NOT SUPPORT SASAENG/STALKER PHOTOS, EVEN IF IT'S OF YOUR SHIP. Some shippers are far too comfortable using photos that were taken of BTS without their consent as ammo. You are gross. BigHit has protections! Half of these delulu shippers can't even interpret Kor words/sentences correctly and spew false garbage that is both utterly offensive toward BTS and the Kor lang. If you can't even take the time to properly consume the nuances of what is being said, what makes you think that you're such a good detective and can sniff out a relationship? Hell, they can't even tell when honorifics are being used or if they're speaking satoori! Is it so hard to consult actual Koreans and Kor speakers to see if what you're consuming is actually correct? The Korean culture and language are not yours to maliciously weaponize when you're trying to prove a 'point'. But like I said, I feel like this community needs a lot of cleaning up. I want you to enjoy your time in the fandom, but don't attack other people on false evidence or speculations. Take care of yourself and others. Don't let your ships make you into a monster.

Yes, pptm said Jimin trained JK like a puppy and it's such a perfect way to sum up whatever it is they have going on. Even when JK might seem reluctant, he's either joking or he'll eventually do it. But it's also impossible not to notice how fast he's there once Jimin calls. That birthday live at hybe, the 7 am weverse booty call, the dinner at Jimin's place almost immediately after leaving the concert venue. The boy has got it bad and it's sickeningly cute.

I can only imagine this a regular, normal thing at this point and we should get to see some more of that on their trips. Hopefully in the near future when BH decides to release the show.

Dear Ladies, Gentlemen and Distinguished Enbies, welcome to a one day only “showing” of FOR(ever) ↔️ YOU(ng) - Jikook the Musical. Tonight I shall try my best to narrate a cute little story, which has various songs as centre plot developers; hence a “musical”. Taken individually, all these events may seem absolutely disconnected, and with no relevance to each other. However, as I started to collect them, they turned out to compose quite the neat little story about two boys their love for music and perhaps each other? So grab a snack, and a thin hat everyone, sit, relax and enjoy the show.

SCENE 1: FOR YOU

This story brings us all the way back to almost 8 years ago, to be precise, the year is 2015, the date is August 18 and during BTS’ Japan Official Fan Meeting Undercover Mission in Osaka (this fan meet went on from the 13th to the 20th of August), while playing a game, JM suddenly loses consciousness and falls off stage. He is taken to a hospital immediately and as soon they are explained the situation, Big Hit Entertainment tweets the following:

Fans panicked. Obviously VERY LUCKILY FOR ME: I WASN’T AROUND AT THE TIME. As for his members, I am sure they were worried out of their minds, so much so that one particular member would express his relief perhaps at having JM safe and sound back with them, right on their very stage. This member was JK, whom two days later (August 20), on the last day of this event, as they performed "For You", walked right by JM and stopped for a couple of seconds, looking at him while he was singing part of the song’s first verse. For the rest of the song, it would become quite visible how JM couldn’t help but smile (cutely).

SCENE 2: I KNOW

So, even though we do not have an elaborated tale of what all the members must have felt exactly, it is safe to say that JM’s accident had a bit of an effect on JK’s mind. So much so that, a couple of months later, while he was playing around as Romeo & Juliet with JM, on the shoot-set of Season Greetings 2016, JK suddenly “refused” to play with JM because, and I quote:

Let’s fast forward to June 2016, this time we are in Paris, and the boys decide to start a VLIVE just before performing at KCON and, at the beginning of the live, we only have VMIN in sight. They start to talk about RM & JK’s new song “I Know” and, as the two are actually in the room but off camera, Tae asks  bribes JK to sing a bit of the song. We still can’t see JK, but, while Tae looks away JM looks straight into JK’s direction as the latter proceeds to sing

… The expression on JM’s face is priceless the things I’d give to know how JK sang this to JM. ANYWAYS, RM eventually also joins into a funny rendition of the song and when they are done, VMIN resumes talking to ARMY and though we will never know for sure what caused it, perhaps JK’s expression, or the lyrics, or the fact that it was JK or all things together, or none of the above, BUT JM did stumble his way through trying to describe the song, in the words of Tae, JM suddenly seemed to be a bit “nervous” almost as if someone had suddenly serenaded him out of nowhere.

Another example at JM being flustered actually happened a month earlier to the Paris trip, at the ISAC where the Tannies needed to sing a song called Hand in Hand and while they are practising (at minute 0:57) I believe that JK might have change the lyrics to “promise me” but don’t quote me on that!, which made JM react in that way Joon and Hobi on the other hand; LOOOL 😬.

Basically, 10 months had effectively passed since the “For You Incident-Serenade” and it feels as if JK might have caught on to the fact that the easiest way to get a flustered reaction from JM is to sing to him. Perhaps he had to sing at him a couple more times off camera, in order to confirm this theory AS ALWAYS; WE WILL NEVER KNOW but from this moment on, whenever he’d find a chance to, it would seem like JK would take the topic at hand and find a way to romantically sing it at JM.

SCENE 3: A DAY LONG AGO

It is finally February 2017, and love isn’t the only thing in the air, in fact, on paper actually, on February 7, JK graduates high school. He is visibly hella excited, and though he goes to the ceremony alone, all his members show up, and afterwards, on their way to the restaurant, VMINKOOK share a ride.  For the most part jikook are doing most of the talking and at a point in which JM is talking a very eager looking JK suddenly starts singing, at JM, the beginning lyrics from A day Long Ago (오래전 그날) by Yoon Jong Shin.

AND, For the very first time on-camera, JM does his very best not to react. We can still see the slight hint of a smile, but for the most part, he’s successfully brushed it off and he is very quick at keeping the topic of discussion on track.

This might have thrown off someone like your-truly, but JK? No, the boy likes a good challenge. JK nor was discouraged, nor did he try to force JM to listen to him, he just went along with JM. We are talking about an almost 20 year old boy who, for the greater part of 2016 (that is when he turned 19, which is the age you become an adult in Korea) has been trying his mighty best to have his hyungs, and JM in particular, understand that he is now an adult and that he has been for quite some time. But hyungs gonna hyung, immaright? Sorry JK…

SCENE 4: BEST OF ME

Now, I don’t know what happened in the months between JK’s graduation and the 1st of October (2017), but there seems to be no on-camera attempt of JK even attempting to sing at JM, in fact, if anything, JK has been trying to appeal in different ways. For example, JM-Encyclopedia JK makes an appearance, or I’d rather not call you hyung makes a strong comeback. Regardless, for the first time, at the Fan Meet in Goyang (1st October, 2017)  JM is singing at JK lyrics from the “Best of Me” where he substitutes the word heaven (cheonkook) with Jungkook (he would do it again on episode 28 of RUN BTS, which would be broadcasted on November 7, 2017, but telling from the hairstyles it was probably filmed around the same period as the Goyang Fan Meet).

We are now halfway through the movie, and though our heroes have gone through a series of back-and-forths, they haven’t really encountered any “conflicts” per say; namean? Sure, JM is the one doing the singing now, because maybe he is trying to get JK’s attention. Had he lost said attention? Had something happened between the two of them? Or had their relationship evolved to a point in which he was just trying to return some of the musical energy he’d received thus far? WE WILL NEVER KNOW unless they tell us that is. But what we know is that a good 30 days after this, JK would take JM on what we now know to be, thanks to Beyond The Story, a healing trip to Tokyo, which would give birth to the first and most famous gcf: GCF in TOKYO. 

SCENE 5: BOY WITH LUV

Upon returning from Japan the two of them feel closer. It looks like they had the time of their life and they can’t seem to be able to talk about anything else. Basically they appear to be quite smitten with this shared experience, and perhaps, with each other? In addition, while still being the maknae, JK is sort of shifting into being more of a protective entity for JM and though JM tries his best to keep him in that designated maknae-slot, he also can’t help but indulge in the “offered protection”. 

They are now spending a lot more time together and this fact is not lost on some people in their environment, regardless of whether said people want to admit it or not. Particularly in 2018 (where, before even getting to the infamous Nampyeon-Namchin December )

we are in Hamilton, September 22nd, on their Love Yourself Tour. As they perform Attack on Titan, during the song’s break, JK pulls a For You Serenade-typa thing, but this is not 2015 and JK is no longer 17. This time, he focuses on JM for the whole part, hair pushed back and all, and for the first time in a while JM is visibly flustered, he silently giggles, turns towards ARMY, and also pushes his hair back. JK’s satisfied expression as he got JM’s attention says it all.

Yeah, this is not the same JK. He is not a boy who is relieved to see his bandmate's being well and alive, or trying to use the situation to his advantage in an awkwards manner. NO. This is a 21 year old, who’s just come back from the trip of a lifetime, this right here, seems to me, to be a boy with luv. 

Speaking of which, fast-forward a couple of months, May 21, 2019, they are in California, and as they are getting ready to perform on The Voice, Memories 2019 will show us how, for the first time JK substitutes words of a song while singing at JM. He substitutes the word “Love is” with “Jimin” while singing Boy With Luv at JM, who acts like he is ignoring him completely but actually proceeds to sing along. Who knew there was an art in serenading and beginning serenaded? Jikook circa 2015 🤡

Indeed, there is nothing stronger than a boy with luv, let’s not forget that a couple of weeks prior to this (May 5th to be exact) Rose Bowl-gate did happen. Well, up to this point, all seems very flowery and very peachy; what could go wrong, right?.

SCENE 6: THE TRUTH UNTOLD

AND, here we are, the part right before the end of the “musical”. We all know some sort of “big conflict is coming” and at this point some might just turn off the movie and leave it at a happy place but the majority will probably just brave it through to this day I start watching Baz Luhrman’s Romeo + Juliet and stop the movie right before the part whenthey take the fake poison, nobody dies in my Romeo + Juliet, thank you, bye! . Let’s brave it through.

Things are going quite well in Jikook world. The Tannies were given a break for the first time ever and thought JM left to go explore the world, he made sure to travel all the way back to Seoul to spend JK’s birthday with him, just to then travel off again; dedication. BTS then takes off to go and shoot Bon Voyage 4, and amongst the many things JK goes up a mountain and comes down with snow for JM; devotion. The two of them are living life, all while diligently performing touring as well.

Thus comes the end of the Speak Yourself tour, Seoul, October 26, 2019. The vocal line performs The Truth Untold and it happens, not only do JK and JM turn to face each other as they sing the last part of the song, but they also change “And” to “But”.

Jikookers who notice are left speechless, but jikookers weren’t the only people who noticed. That and a series of “jikook moments” throughout 26th-29th of October, made October 30, 2019 quickly roll by and the following happens:

I can’t even imagine what it must have felt to have experienced THAT. To be honest I don’t even want to think about it, but then actually is more like “I can’t believe they actually fucking did that…”. BUT, guess who won the IDGAF war?:

I bet many thought jikook would perhaps “tone it down”, but they kept being themselves. They kept being as affectionate, annoying, close and “flirty” as per usual, I mean some time in 2020 we got 👇🏾

So yeah, I suppose, love will always win.

SCENE 7: GOOD MORNING

It’s now 2023. All the boys are getting ready to go to MS, as a result, they are giving it their all working on solo projects. Jikook has finally managed to become a bit more private, and this isn’t as a consequence to what happened in 2019 (if not we wouldn’t have had that hickey-incident). A lot has happened since then, but I believe that, perhaps, as things got more serious, and as they got older, their relationship naturally progressed into something more mature, personal and deeper in significance. For example JM associating JK with the song Young Forever

So I'm a Jikooker (yes I know, foolish. But once I get into something, it's hard to let go. That's just who I am, unfortunately). I'm a Jimin-biased Jikooker and one of the well-known Jikooker blogs I follow (I won't mention their name because I don't want to bring them hate) made a shady post about PJMs about two days ago. They said Jimin is the member who attracts the weirdest solos. When PJMs came for them, they switched up on some "all solos are bad/it's dumb being a solo".

But they explained why they don't like PJMs specifically, said that group have been the one who've always attacked them the most, so they say these things based on their own personal experiences. Which is understandable, right? I know all the members' solos hate Jimin specifically and spend their days saying the ugliest things about him, but I personally hate JJKs the most because they are the worst of them all, they make Jimin biased people's experience very unpleasant online, they say the most horribly awful things about Jimin..

This blogger said it's funny how PJMs who accuse her of being a JM anti also accuse her of being a JK stan in the same breath and that she didn't understand why it's PJMs always flocking to their blog and not other members' solos. I sent them an ask about this, saying the reason why only that specific group of people keep coming for them and why they accuse them of such things is probably because they've always had high praises for JK while being dismissive of Jimin/anything about him and only praising him the context of the ship.

For example, around May last year, they'd say things like "JK is going to be the member to really blow it out of the park" in terms of success about 'Seven' and his upcoming solo album. They once answered a shady ask that said JK doesn't look like he baths these days and they said "you know you're talented as hell as an artist when antis drag you about bathing. It's because they know they can't drag him about his singing, dancing and performing because he does all those exceedingly well. Man is goated AF". There's nothing wrong with what they said, people have different tastes and JK is clearly the best thing since sliced bread for them.

But then in another ask/post, they'd talk about how they don't like Jimin's voice at all because it sounds too nasal. Which is also fine, because like I said, different tastes. But the contrast between how they talk about JK vs how they talk about JM makes sense as the reason why people would flock to their blog and call them a JM anti/JK solo, isn't it?

This person has made posts that have so obviously been heavily biased towards JK. They say they're OT7 and they don't bias JK at all but their many posts about JK vs about the other members seriously contradict that. They try to come across as "I love all seven equally" (although they did admit that their affection for Tae has waned) but just going through their entire blog or following them for the past three years as I have will show you that's a complete lie and that they obviously love Jungkook a lot more than the others.

I told them about the times they'd speak so well about JK from an artist point of view - they praise his dance, praise his singing, praise him as a person, as Jungkook the individual outside of Jikook. But every time it comes to Jimin, it's "gosh that man is so sexy. I bet you JK tires that ąss out", every time Jimin posts a dance video, it's "but JK is truly such a lucky man". It's never praises about Jimin as an individual and an artist. No, those praises have to involve JK, and they have to be about sex. And it's understandable why Jimin biased people/PJMs would get triggered because we've had to deal with the fandom erasing Jimin's talent as achievements and reducing him to being "cute, sexy, fckable".

I also mentioned the FACE to Seven to GOLDEN era when people sent them asks about how Jimin seems to be getting sabotaged by the company for JK and how the fandom attacked Jimin for getting not even 1% of what JK got but kept quite when JK got it all, and how they (the blogger) dismissed the anons who said the company is sabotaging JM but had all the time in the world to talk about how terrible Jimin's solo stans are for attacking JK for his career choices.

I told them that most Jikook accounts who seem so biased towards JK and defend what HYBE has been doing to Jimin in favour of JK, eventually became JK solo focused accounts after 'Seven'. I don't think they'd ever become a solo, though, because they seem to really care about some other members (I just don't think Jimin is one of them lol)

I told them that for all these reasons, I don't blame people for accusing them of being a JK solo/Jimin anti. I thought they'd respond to my ask because I genuinely wanted to understand their perspective but they made a bullsht post saying they've blocked all anons because people just want them to explain themselves over and over again and that they don't like PJMs and we'll just have to deal with it.

I laughed. Because it's so obvious they didn't know how to respond to my ask so they took the easy way out and at the end of the day, they win, because they get to twist things and make their followers see things as they want them to see them and Jimin stans are forever the bad guy.

Someone called them out on always having the time to write posts about how Jimin stans are "being weird" and attacking "other members" again (the "other members" is always JK lol because this bloggers posts always come out when PJMs attack JK. They never complain when PJMs are all up on Yoongi or Tae or the others) but never calling out JJK for attacking others, especially Jimin. Their response was "I actually talked about this on my personal account and vented to a friend but everything always has to be said publicly for y'all". Sure, Jan. It's very convenient how they can always complain about PJMs publicly for all to see but when it's about Jungkook's stans it has to be done privately. They talked about "solo stans" (it was PJMs who said those disgusting things and we all know) accusing JK of being groomed by BangPD and sleeping his way to the top, but there has never been a single post about how "solo stans" have been saying the exact same things about Jimin for years and especially during FACE era, and how they've said even worse things.

Anyway I just wanted to say I'm so done with Jikookers. They don't care about Jimin at all, never did. I should have seen it with the "Jimin would be ashamed to see you guys saying JK doesn't seem to care that Jimin's career is being hurt because of him", when that's literally what it looks like. I should have seen it with the "why do people hate Jikook so much?" comments, when it's actually only Jimin getting hate and Jungkook being portrayed as the trapped victim. Even Taehyung gets more defended by them: every time other Jikookers hate Taehyung for "deliberately feeding Taekookers" (as they say) these Jikook bloggers write lengthy posts about Taehyung alone, highlighting his "innocent" personality and the times he's shown how much he adores his members and would never hurt anyone of them. But when Jimin gets accused of being an attention seeker, a fanservice king who enjoys "feeding Jokers", they write lengthy posts about JIKOOK and their bond/moments.

They really do not care about Jimin at all. I wonder what they see when they look at him. I really wish I could literally see through their eyes and find out how they really see Jimin because it's all so bizarre.

I remember saying once that Jungkook biased jikookers were the most delusional jikookers. Most Jimin biased people jumped ship a few years ago, and now all there's left is Jungkook biased jikookers. They're the majority, by a landslide. Literally 4/5 jikook blogs you come across on Tumblr, are Jungkook biased. And they're all delusional, they all talk the same way, share the same theories, etc. In general, Jungkook has always had the most shipper fans out of all the members because he's shipped with everyone. Anyways, I said they were the most delusional and my point gets proven everyday.

I genuinely believe you have to be able to will yourself into ignoring a lot of things about Jungkook to be his fan, and I say that from first-hand experience because at some point in history I used to like him a lot, too. But there was always a "wish he hadn't done that wish he hadn't said that". In almost every piece of content, there was without fail a moment where I felt like I had to settle for Jungkook; "oh well he's too young; oh well he's awkward at expressing himself; oh well he didn't think that through; oh well he's impulsive". Eventually, I just got tired and bored of the same shit year after year. Speaking only about attitude though, his attitude is better than it was a couple of years ago, at least on the surface, and I have no qualms about admitting that. But I'm not really a second chance type of person so it's been over.

If she's a jikookers she's obviously gonna have readers who are interested in Jimin and Jungkook both together and separately. Why is she wondering about Jimin "solos" going to her blog? Is she stupid? She must be. Because if she didn't want pjms or Jimin biased people to reach out to her, then maybe she could just dissociate Jimin from her blog and that's it. It's not that hard. But if she keeps calling herself a joker...

This isn't about pjms. I have no business defending them and myself I've made fun of them and all before. But what's fair is fair, and the truth is that they're not the worst. Please, a lot of them even felt bad for Taehyung when Jungkook was having his 2739483rd listening party during layover's release.

Sexually charged insults, edits, racism, nepotism accusations, blowing up fake info in hopes it'll turn into a scandal. All done against Jimin by Jungkook's fans, both solos and taekookers. Who were the first ones to call Jimin a sexual predator? Who were the first people to accuse Jimin of sleeping with CEOs? Exactly. And it's been YEARS. This isn't something that started in July 2023; it's been going on for fucking years, since 2017 if not before. I talk about it because I saw it all while it was happening, and I saw pjms walking away from the fandom and becoming solos. They didn't even hate on the members until it got really bad -die a hero or live long enough to become the villain or whatever.

You'd take a look at pjm twitter in 2018, 2019, 2020 and it was all Jimin content, "hybe mistreating Jimin" threads (that had NOTHING to do with other members), and even some ship content enjoying yoonmin, vmin, jikook, because pjms actually liked them. Those were pjms. Meanwhile, taekook lives already existed. Meanwhile, DC gallery was already filling up with the most disgusting stuff about Jimin that wasn't even true.

Every time anyone mentioned the hate against Jimin, it was "move silently, block and report, do not engage". Okay, cool. Now, there's hate against Jungkook and it's rant after rant about pjms. What happened to just block and report silently? Now they're enraged enough to talk about it? Now they want to bring attention to it and call it out for the sick behavior it is? Now, when it's against Jungkook but not when it was against Jimin?

The other thing is that jikookers don't want to admit that they're in bed with taekookers. Taekookers are ALSO Jungkook stans. Jungkook solos, taekookers, they're all Jungkook stans but jikookers don't want to hold accountable for what they say and instead they charge against pjms because they don't want to be grouped with people as deranged as taekookers for being a Jungkook fan. They try their hardest to not associate Jungkook to his solos because in their mind, the fans actually do represent the idol. So Jungkookie can't have deranged fans under any circumstance; it's all and only pjms. Deep down, that's exactly what they're doing; in their minds, pjms are a representation of Jimin, but Jungkook solos, taekookers and deranged jikookers are not a representation of Jungkook. How does that work?

My personal favorite is when they say 'how can Jimin have such evil fans when he's the kindest?". What do they mean? That Jungkook deserves to have jjks and taekookers as fans? Mmmmm!!! If solo stans are a representation of the members, what does it say of Jungkook that he has fans like muri?

I don't know if you're talking about who I think you're talking about, but I've seen a blog that sounds a lot like what you're describing. Someone sent me a link once, and I replied to their ask. I can't look for it right now, but I'll try to search for it during the weekend. So, I saw that blog and it was essay after essay about seven and the tools from the company and scooter, etc. Defending all of it. Which, okay if they think it's cool. But anyone who dared to say that Jimin was neglected and Jungkook was pushed by favoritism or something along those words, while not even being mean about it, mind you, a lot of people just wondering why; they were like "just say you're a Jimin solo and go". That's how they'd reply. Everyone, anyone who dared to have a different opinion or a less than favoring one about Jungkook or his career, was immediately called an anti and a solo. A Jimin solo, mind you.

Then, I also saw this ask:

So, someone saying "I hate so many things about jimin" is "not a rare breed", but saying "Jungkook payola" is an anti, and stupid and a Jimin solo.

It seems criticism -whatever the type- about one of them is okay, but if it's about the other it's bad? If that isn't the literal definition of bias...

Imagine I went to her and said this exact thing or something similar but about Jungkook, pointing out a thing I don't like about him; do you think I would get a "sameee you're so valid" or would I get lectured on all the good things about him?

If they're so bright, so quick on their feet, so much better than solos, how come they didn't think this could be a Jimin anti pretending to be a fan? How come they didn't get labeled as an akgae of other member immediately?

I don't know how they don't get tired or bored of pretending. Is life really that dull for them that they have to create a whole personality on the internet? Pretending they like someone they don't really like?

At the very least, people should begin to question themselves why it's okay to talk freely about Jimin's voice, or any other thing they see as flaws in him, and they're okay with those conversations; but they cry and throw up if someone says the dumbest, smallest shit about Jungkook? Just accepting that you don't care about both of them in the same way, and that you believe one is more talented and more deserving than the other, could be a good start.

Yesterday: omg Jikook broke up, the JM is not for Jimin, they are done, JK is always alone, he's drinking beer at 6 am so he must be going trough a heartbreak... taekook's were right, look at them doing a live together, it must mean something else, Jikook were never real. Today, after Jimin appeared in JK wlive giving us diabetes with cuteness overload: ... omg i was not ready for that, JM called him his baby, JM wanted to tie his hair, omg; JM is watching this while at work, JM lives with JK? he's going back to their place???? Just wanted to share this post where we can clearly see these two posts are two days apart. Now in the first ss it's the picture yg posted on his story saying they all met and vmin left 10min before taking the picture. And the next ss is when one day jm randomly commented on weverse "i miss you" and jk replied "me too" and just min later jk went live.

Many were confused if he's saying"miss you too" to armys or to jm but we got our answer as soon as he started his live where he actually named the live something as him watching jm's suchwita ep. And so he went on watching 1.5 hrs live jm's content where he also listened to few here n there random songs. But the live was dedicated to park jimin. Thing is he literally was pretty much quite while watching the ep only made few comments. Asked armys not to comment Cause he's not gonna or not reading comments and he was pretty much quite while watching the ep and as soon as the ep ended he himself said that "i didn't even talk much" meaning he was concentrated on the ep mind you the first ever suchwita ep he watched (said by jk himself). We all know jk can't concentrate on something he's not interested in.

The reason i posted is many many times i see jkkrs and antis going havok whenever jm says "i missed you" to jk they think it's a sign that they didn't meet e/o in ages and that's why he said that so in this case we can clearly see all of them met on 25th march and jk commented "me too" on 27th and in reply to that comment jm said to him "I'll meet you soon, and your live was cute" so from that we can clearly see that even if jk and jm meet e/o daily they can still somehow miss e/o. That live was definitely because he was missing jm cause he was just watching jm's content only and wasnt interacting much with armys which he should have done if he was missing armys actually but no he was missing jm and hence the live. He himself asked armys not to comment in this live when he usually reads comments in all of his lives so this live was definitely for armys. Another beautiful thing was that he was sleepy yet he stayed and watched many of jm's content (which he's done only for him atleast until now). later on jm's live even he said that why was he even watching my videos when he was sleepy and should have slept.

There's another case which is from 2021 jm's birthday live. So jm went to busan for 1-2 days (he said he went to busan or something) and he went live on his birthday from jk's studio and when he called jk to join him cause he felt awkward doing live after many months so what we see is jk entering his studio right in 1 single minute after jm called him and jk was busy doing gym he still went to jm right in one min after he called him. So when jk enters the first thing jm says is "i missed you" now mind you we have seen it in DVD behind that that was the day they were practising we have clips of that day of them practising that means they met before jm's live i mean of course Cause jm must have asked jk to give him his studio for sometime to do a live so they must have met before the live BUT as soon as jk enters that's the first thing jm says...that he missed jk.

Another example is jk's birthday in 2020 where jm made a post saying "it's nice seeing you after not seeing you for some time" and he was there(in paris) only for like 4 days or something.

What I'm trying to tell by this long ass post is that just because jm said "i missed you or miss you" doens't always mean that they haven't met e/o for months it's just means jm misses jk even if he doens't sees him for some time. He can miss jk even if he met jk 1 hr before that's how their bond is. That's how attached they are. That's how close they are. So next time when you see jm saying to jk that i miss you make sure to remind yourself of these moments (I'm not at all saying that's always the reason but I'm giving another point of view based on their previous conversations/moments)

I'll just add that I too, whine about missing my partner terribly whenever we are apart for like 5 hours. And I tell them "I miss you" all the time when we are apart. And we LIVE together and spent like 90% of all our time together 🤣 it's FULLY believable to think they had a meal together and are texting each other even a few hours later "I miss you" for me. Lol

Jungkook is Incredibly Misunderstood!

“Hot and Cold!” That’s the terms that is most often applied to Jungkook. It’s applied to him because of this bold/shy duality he possesses. One minute he’s bold and doing grand romantic gestures and the next he appears too shy too shy to even receive a hug from Jimin. He can on one hand stare JImin in the face and smily while saying “Army is always pretty” and boldly protect Jimin if he perceives harm coming his way but on the other hand tell the camera crew he only films Jimin all the time because “He’s always just around whilst he filming.” This duality Jungkook possesses causes many to question whether or not Jungkook loves Jimin as much as Jimin loves him. They can’t seem to wrap their mind around a guy that can be so bold as to take Jimin on vacation and create a magically romantic video of him but then be too shy to simply admit he visits Jimin’s room often because he prefers him. For this reason Jungkook has been given the name “hot and cold!” And I believe this comes from a vast misunderstanding of his culture and his personality.

Jungkook’s let’s call it flip floppiness comes from both internal and external barriers:

External Barriers:

Jungkook is not Hot and then cold, he’s chained and restricted by Korean and industry culture, more so than Jimin. 

Korean culture is hierarchical. The older you are in relation to your peers the more power and freedom you have. The younger you are in relation to your peers the less freedom you have. Older individuals in Korean culture can often be found doting on younger individuals and using adjectives like “cute” to describe them. Younger individuals are to be submissive. However, there’s a certain degree of defiance they can exercise that is deemed appropriate and even cute...this often comes in the form of teasing older individuals and feigning non compliance. What is not deemed appropriate is younger individuals publicly dropping formality when addressing or interacting with older individuals. It would be inappropriate to be overly friendly and causual.

Jimin is Jungkook’s hyung. So no one bats an eye when JM dotes on JK, or shows him tons of affection and calls him cute. Yes, even though JM says and does suspicious crap like saying he loves waking up and seeing JK’s face or consistently entering JK’s space as if to almost kiss him...but because he’s an idol and the hyung in this situation his actions can be played off or discredited as “fan service” or just JM being an overly affectionate hyung. 

Let’s reverse that...imagine if Jungkook consistently treated Jimin the same way Jimin treats hims. Imagine if he said my favorite thing is waking up seeing Jimin’s face, or if he was the one always bringing JM in just an inch shy of a kiss. The impact of that would be greater because it would be JK completely disregarding cultural norms. Their relationship would be incredibly suspect because he would be exercising a degree of casualness far outside the scope of what is acceptable. To put it simply, Jungkook can’t always reciprocate Jimin’s affection because his culture won’t allow it. He’d virtually be outing them if he acted like Jm did.

This begs the question, JK always breaks cultural norms regarding JM. Why is it acceptable for him to break norms in some ways and times but not others? Doesn’t the fact that he chooses to sometimes break norms and then to not prove he’s hot and cold? My answer to that is no!

Jungkook is without a doubt a rebel, but a rebel that likes to be prepared for the impact of his actions. He’s not going to rebel in away that completely outs his relationship with JM. So if we analyze the ways in which JK does break cultural norms we’ll see a pattern: Jungkook is almost always the initiator in these circumstances (so he’s prepared for the fallout), his actions can be suspicious not confirmation, and the fallback card of fan service is available.

Jungkook treats Jimin like he’s the maknae

JK is incredibly protective of JM and will call other hyungs out if he thinks they are risking his safety or being insensitive . If he sees JM about to hurt himself he will keep a close watch over him.

JK will carry all of JM’s belongings and if he sees Jimin about to perform a task that requires strength, without being asked he will help him. 

JK scolds JM like he’s the younger

JK takes care of JM...according to Jin JK is Jimin’s chef 

JK is JM’s body guard

JK is very gentle with JM...while he will play rough with everyone else he won’t play rough with JM (this is actually a shift in behavior.  Pre-2015 JK would playfully push JM around.) 

JK frequently will drop honorifics with JM and omit the hyung when addressing him...this is typically done behind the scenes or playfully in publicly. He won’t go as far as dropping honorifics in more formal settings.

Jungkook sucked JM’s ear and yelled to crowd we love you JM. This caused JM to cry. Very bold move (but he knows he’s protected by fan service culture)

Jungkook dedicated a whole live to JM (very sweet and obvious display of favoritism but again could just be him supporting his hyung)

JK created GCFT-this is a grand romantic gesture that I believe JK used to test the waters...either he was coming out or he was seeing how much he could get away with.

Jungkook does all these things when he’s in his element and in familiar surroundings and/or he already knows the repercussions. He is bold when he can be! He’s bold to an extent.

He only becomes “cold” when he’s caught off guard or unsure of how he’s to respond or allowed to respond. 

JM exposed JK’s habit (on multiple occasions) of always coming to his room and sleeping in his room. He even exposed JK for “hugging him to sleep at night.” Other members like Hobi and RM have exposed JK for this as well. Jungkook did not offer this information up!

In response Jungkook always admits it but not without coming up with an excuse as to why. “My bed is uncomfortable,” “JM’s room is the closest and I don’t like be alone.” 

He excuses his actions possibly because he’s caught off guard and doesn’t know how to respond and/or he knows he can’t admit to the real reason he always is in JM’s room and bed! He’s not 15 anymore. It wouldn’t look or sound right for him to admit that he’s always in JM’s room because he prefers him or because he likes being around him. He’s 25, almost 26! Admitting would cross the line of suspicious to confirmation.

The camera man asked JK why he always films JM so much. 

JK doesn’t deny that he always films JM, but being caught off guard by the question he excuses his actions by claiming it’s simply because JM is just always around whilst he’s filming. We can all tell that this isn’t the reason...we’ve seen him filming only JM even when every other member is in the vicinity. But again...what answer could JK give that wouldn’t cross the line of suspicious to confirmation? Any honest answer wouldn’t be appropriate.

Internal Barriers

Simply put, Jungkook is incredibly shy! I don’t mean he’s shy with Jimin. I mean he can be shy when an unexpected camera is placed in his face and he’s with Jimin. I personally think Jungkook doesn’t like being unknowingly filmed when he’s with anyone but it’s heightened when he’s with Jimin. I’m not shy so I don’t know why sometimes JK can be on camera with JM and everything is fine but another moment he’s looking at the camera uncomfortable with it’s presence there. 

Also, by my estimation Jungkook is more ready to be “out” than Jimin is. However, knowing he can’t leads to this inconsistency that stems from his internal battle of wanting something that he knows he can’t have. He will sometimes test boundaries (GCFT) and do wild things (sucking JM ear on stage and being all lovey dovey at an award ceremony) but other times realize the impact of his words and reel in it.

To put it another way, Jungkook’s “flip floppiness” is sometimes just the result of his shyness and internal battle between wanting to be himself while knowing he can’t be. This is not speculation, Jungkook has said this himself. He hasn’t said he’s gay and with JM, but he��s said he’s felt confined and overly monitored (he told RM this). 

Conclusion

All this to say, Jungkook loves JM greatly..and clearly more than anyone else alive. He’s not flip flopping. He’s simply trying to navigate all the external and internal barriers he has to being his authentic self.

It’s wild to think people literally see Jk as a “Tsundere” hot and cold individual regarding JM. He is most of the time consistent...but he’s like anyone that has to hide  the truth about themselves while navigating culture barriers...he’s sometimes not as bold but that’s because he’s not the only one to consider. I genuinely believe if given the freedom...JK would not hold back!

Not a YoonMin-er but would like to add my thoughts around this beautiful relationship. Yoongi was indisputably the member that influenced Jimin’s mindset pre-debut. His words of encouragement to a teenager who was being left in the limbo day in day out was so profound that Jimin has referred to it many many times. Yes Jimin himself is mentally strong and capable but we all need someone in our corner and for Jimin, that person was Yoongi. I also believe that because Yoongi was already making music and part of the industry in some way, his words held more weight.

I do feel that Jimin is closest to Yoongi (after JHope), and Namjoon more than Jungkook and V. Because of how Jimin thinks and because of what Yoongi himself has been through in terms of mental and emotional struggle. YoonMin to me are the true soulmates. They bicker, they make fun of each other. But let someone else do it and then will see red. Their relationship is so beyond the normal brotherhood and friendships.

For all the hate Yoongi gets from JM solo stans about the comments he makes (and admittedly some have been or could be perceived as being in bad taste), Jimin himself would never crucify Yoongi for them. I don’t even think he would take these comments seriously. And if Jimin’s ment at DDay finale wasn’t proof enough if their special bond (he literally called out Yoongi for being a bad host and not introducing his guest, at the guys own show infront of 100s of 1000s of people 😂😂😂), I don’t know what is.

I don’t know whether they had anything between them or not. Most likely not. But it seems that currently Yoongi is the only one Jimin would listen to. He only had to beg twice for a LC and TM performance and he didn’t even bribe whereas poor Jungkook has offered chicken, bam, boxing and even nakedness and got no Jimin 😂😂😂😂

Poor JK needs to beg some more. Maybe he can do a mukbang again with some Kimchi Jigae…but wait, Taeyang already offered that to Jimin 😂😂😂😂

You say you're not a yoonminer but after reading your ask, I'm very curious about what you are. It's interesting that you feel Jimin is closest to Yoongi because of what they've both been through "...in terms of mental and emotional struggle" and while I understand that yoonmin have bonded over shared personal journeys, I feel this could be said more for Yoongi's relationship growth with Hoseok and Namjoon. It's not often alluded to in the fandom but Hoseok and Joon have had their own deep struggles with depression and insecurity, and the way Yoongi and Hoseok have been able to emotionally open up to each other, the way Yoongi has deepened his emotional connection to and respect for Namjoon over the years, make Yoongi’s relationships with Namseok foundational to him in the group. Or like soulmates, to use your words. More so than with Jimin, in my opinion.

It’s also interesting that you say “They bicker… but let anyone else do it and then they will see red.” …but don’t you notice all the times this happens and it’s Jungkook that’s seeing red? To Yoongi?

Just off the top of my head, during their last visit to the UN when Jimin made that cute gaff and the guys were joshing him for it after. Yoongi (and a couple others) kept going, twisting that little pain point and JK (plus Hobi) was the first to put an end to it. Jungkook did it in such a sassy way too, considering he was speaking to people older than him. I’m not sure if it was captured in the English subtitles, but Jungkook very easily laid down the law in one second, signalled to the others that they were close to crossing a line in teasing Jimin. Not like Jimin needed his help, but it’s still worth noting that very publicly in their least rehearsed moment (on Vlive) it was JK speaking up.

Jungkook also damn near jumped Yoongi with a frying pan too, in that one RUN BTS episode (ep 100 I think) for mistakenly hitting Jimin. Jungkook in general is pretty big, so how you’ve missed that muscle bunny showing up to show out for Jimin, almost everyday for 10 years, is a real curiosity for me.

I agree with you that in terms of emotional outlets, Yoongi is one of the steadfast sounding boards for Jimin. There’s a lot about those two that does indicate that in another life, they would be kindred souls and I guess in some ways they already are. But today, in this universe, I can’t really say Jimin is closer to Yoongi than to Jungkook. I just don’t see it.

We don’t really know any of them, and who they are close too at various points changes all the time depending on whatever’s happening in their real lives, but Jimin today gives me the sense he’s somewhat detached from everyone in the group for long stretches so he can focus on his solo work. I’m not really seeing anything to tell me there’s been a massive shift and he’s now closer to Yoongi than to Jungkook. He could have become closer to Yoongi than before, to be as close to Yoongi as he is to Jungkook, maybe, but jikook’s relationship fundamentally remains the same in Chapter 2.
