Disclaimer: Since people can't read carrds I'll put it here too: Please do not refer to my f/o with pet names or terms of endearment of any kind, it's incredibly uncomfortable and it will cause me to really distance myself from you. I've had people in the past claim they liked my f/o platonically and then turn around and self ship with them romantically. Even going as far as sending me their platonic fic with my f/o in it for it only to be romantic. It's happened more than once with different people so now I have this boundary in place. You know, for all I roast Dimitri in my liveblog posts, I started Azure Moon fully expecting to sympathize with him and eventually S-Support him. I usually gravitate towards the characters who have the most plot relevance, especially if the main campaign teases the pairing. For example, Chrom and F!Robin are my Awakening OTP. I also did M!Robin and Tiki in Awakening because of the plot and lore implications, even if I didn’t end up shipping it as hard as Chrom/F!Robin.

In Fates, I S-Supported Kaze, Silas and Kaden (I admit that this one was mostly for the cute factor, and also because I wanted to see what happened if a manakete and a kitsune married and had kids. But I ended up liking their dynamic a lot because he actually takes Corrin on dates and gives her gifts and it’s actually one of the most romantic F!Corrin pairings) with F!Corrin, and Azura and Niles with M!Corrin. I haven’t done F!Corrin/Xander yet, but their dynamic is really good too.��

So, in Three Houses, I fully expected to ship Byleth with all the main lords, and that was absolutely the case with Edelgard. I planned to S-Support Dimitri too, but I’m rethinking that decision.

Right now, my potential S-Support candidates for Azure Moon are:

1- Felix, because he’s the one blue lion who doesn’t enable Dimitri bullshit, has more than two braincells to rub together, and between him, Ingrid and Sylvain, is the one who copes with the crest and nobility bullshit the best. Sylvain is bitter to the point of taking his issues out on innocent women of the common folk who have nothing to do with the root of them, while Ingrid completely buys into the knighthood ideals to the point of accepting that her duty is to accept that her father will sell her to some nobleman or another so that House Galatea can prosper. Meanwhile, Felix is entirely critical of the system and tries to make other people realize its faults in his own acerbic way, but he doesn’t intentionally hurt naive believers in the knighthood ideals the way Sylvain intentionally hurts women.

Also, sword bro is cool and an absolutely badass MVP on the battlefield.

2- Yuri. He’s smart, he’s pretty, he’s charismatic, he’s intensely loyal to his friends and does whatever needs to be done to protect them, he’s a gang leader with a heart who wants to help and defend those who are left to rot under the current system, and actually does just that because he has the intelligence and political know-how to concoct long-term plans that work. What’s not to love? Also, the Ashen Wolves DLC doesn’t let you S-Support him in his own storyline, so I have to do it in a main one anyway.

3- Seteth. AM is probably the most church-aligned route I’m going to play, and also the first one in which I get to see his and Flayn’s supports. Also, green family is potentially super cute.
