Big fan of kakagai getting together where it’s not really a thing. Like gai just slowly becoming truly integrated into Kakashis routine again over the years and eventually there’s this sudden difference without there being any change; where he just becomes apart of the routine itself and everyone kind of noticed before but there’s a point where everyone like truly kind of understands that their relationship isn’t just rivals or friends or definable in anyway that a simple term or feeling could express. The small things of helping each other in fights or to make dinner. Knowing their ramen order or when they’re pushing themselves. The sounds of their breathing and the way no fear exists even when they exist so freely in the others space.

I’m watching Naruto for the first time, so don’t spoil anything please, but I just wanted to say something

That scene where Kakashi endured the 72 sharringgon torture and then got saved by guy was incredible

Just, he did that, which was meant to break his spirit, then not only survived, but stayed conscious enough to start trying to formulate a plan of attack to protect his comrades, incredible

Even better though, was when guy showed up and saved them, you could see Kakashi realise that they were safe now, that guy could and would protect them, and he just collapses

That man was running purely on spite and adrenaline, then his husband shows up and he’s just out, totally trusts guy to be able to handle this

Beautiful, I mean, I’ve been shipping this for a minute, how could I not they gave me long time “rivals” who clearly love each other, but this really sealed the deal for me
