BASICALLY, in simpler terms, Firestorm is a fanseason between Seabound and Crystallized, because EVERYONE assumed Kai was getting a season (we got a Lloyd season out of nowhere), and we Kai fans are seasonless once again. However, the gap between Seabound and the next season after Firestorm will be more than a year for this season to work.

So far, the story goes like this: Kai hides his grief and caters, but one night, when he was out trying to avoid Nya's posters he runs into thugs that were harassing a woman. Kai got pretty angry because they were disgsracing the city Nya sacrificed to protect. He meets a young man named Alvern Wand, who acts like a counselor and wants to help him with his grief.

Things get a LOT more complicated after a few secrets are revealed, and new threats that involve a 'virus' that continues to haunt him even irl, some 'glass warriors' trying to convert him to their side to kill Alvern, him not being able to remember what happened when he spends too long with Alvern... you know... normal things.

Also I am. Constantly forgetting how fucking funny Hunter is. We never give him enough credit for how funny he is because his life is so fucked up but I swear 90% of his lines are just bit after bit after bit. He's not even trying either. Mephistopheles has multiple different forms! :D The blue form exists in different spaces and across different campaigns and you can Google right now and find canonical fanart of blue-skin Mephistopheles! Some of those illustrations are hot as fuck, so live your best life :D If you're happy to see content of him, hopefully that includes the blue form as well.

And since Mephistopheles was never actually in Baldur's Gate 3 I get to choose what forms they are because secondly, I highly recommend you read tags and author's notes thoroughly for Palmarosa for the additional reason that:

I knew the DND purists would kind of get up in arms about all kinds of things (and...I was right), so I think this is now like the tenth time I've had to remind people to actually read my tags and author's notes! I don't kind of want to remind folks in every chapter that I will do something I like more if I don't like the canon, or what the point of fanfiction is in the first place. But I'm not trying to write more canon anon, I'm writing fanfiction, and the transformative part is the point.

It doesn't matter if his blue skin was in the Wiki or not, I can do what I like in this story, that is, after all, the spirit of DND and creating new campaigns within an existing structure, and that's precisely why Mephistopheles has so many forms in the first place! Heck, I could've made him green :D

There's a lot of things that aren't canon compliant in this story, from Astarion being able to taste food properly, to Mephistopheles being based on 1E instead of later version/s (I mean he's not Molikroth here either), to the House of Hope having many many more rooms than present in the map, and a great deal more besides.

I know that one version of Mephistopheles has red skin, I just like the one with blue more!

I have thoughts abt the doctor participating in practices that were previously exclusive to members of a sisterhood more than once.

After having a writer’s block burnout for two months and taking a hiatus, I’ve finally completed the most massive episode ever for my fanfic visual novel. Packed with lots of action, drama, comedy, and romance. 

(I also ask, please pay extra attention to the content warning, episode 5 delves into some sensitive topics that may make some readers uncomfortable.)

Anyways, dark story aside...this is my favorite moment when I finally finish an episode and I can actually ENJOY IT instead of playing through to check for bugs with the coding console open. 🤣

Tumblr accidentally wiped this post, so this is take 2 of Sathi's lore.

Starting with personality, he's ruthless, reckless, and brave in battle, but shy and cautious just about everywhere else. His cruelty in combat occasionally bleeds through into his personal life; disturbing comments, purposeful intimidation, but a large majority of the time, he's simply anxious and awkward.

Generally speaks in a straight to the point manner, but isn't inclined to speak most of the time. The few people he does bond with, he tends to keep close for a very long time, and is more than ready to defend them if need be.

Formerly worked as a guard across Morrowind, before eventually settling down in Solstheim. Admittedly, I rarely focus on backstory, so this part gets a bit dubious.

During his time within the lower ranks of guards on Solstheim, he violently stood up to a superior making a controlling, bigoted comment, and this got him tossed in prison.

Now is a good time to explain - Sathi's motives are exclusively to protect others and for the freedom of his people, the Dunmer. What this means and how he enacts it will become clearer later on, as he chooses options he would never have thought to before, but he very much encourages violence as an answer.

This leads to his chosen Daedric Prince - a very non-canon Molag Bal (yours truly).

After forming a pact to act on Bal's whims - claiming the souls of anyone he gets the chance to regardless of status - Sathi earns The Mace of Molag Bal, and subsequently breaks out of jail. (Note: this mostly means "Sathi kills fascists and bigots both on his and Molag Bal's behalf." My sphere was, more or less, rightful punishment.)

He is wanted dead in most places in Morrowind and Skyrim.

This pact had some fully informed and intended side effects, however.

Sathi is one of the most deadly, and easily hidden, types of Vampires - the Coldharbour variety. With power gifted directly from Molag Bal himself, this makes Sathi more than a small threat.

Despite being smart and strong, and previously working mostly as a torturer in the guard system, he's not quite able to outsmart the people he needs information from.

Usually, this leads to him intimidating them. Which is something he's going to think very deeply about over the course of the little story I have going for him in my mind.

It's a slow going process, but one he excels at.

Present day, he's working on slowly but surely furthering his goals, and making new friends and foes along the way. Foes that somewhat include himself.

Sathi has begun to realize that the way he's going about things could easily become the exact thing he's fighting against - control, fear, and unnecessary cruelty. Each fight he wins, every bigot and barbarian he tortures, each battlefield he's stained with blood, he's slowly coming to regret and question. And is very much at a crossroads.

also Pacific Rim... really gave us the gift of 'drift compatibility' as a term for being connected in mind and body without it being necessarily romantic. the other platonic drift compatible teams in that movie are splendid as well, the Striker Eureka father son team, the Crimson Typhoon triplets, and of COURSE Hermann and Newt (another two blorbos i rotate in my mind) speaking of Hermann and Newt, while the m/f platonic pairs are uncommon and very special to me, i will also say I love the m/m and f/f platonic pairs too!

It started with a red bird- Ramona- coming to Terry’s house with her dad to have their annual Christmas party. The party consisted of Ramona, Terry, Ramona’s dad, Terry’s mom, and a few of Terry’s other friends from school. The kids were going to play a game of White Elephant when suddenly, the power went out in Terry’s house. The TV in the living room then turned on, with a sinister-looking symbol of three slash marks, coupled with goggles appearing on screen. A menacing voice spoke, introducing himself as “Dr. Bohltz”, as he told the people in the room of his evil plan: To steal Santa's sleigh! A device made to travel the entire world in only one night would be a dangerous thing in the wrong hands. 

So, Terry and Ramona went off on an adventure to the North Pole to prevent Dr. Bohltz from completing his evil scheme! Being a special, two types of technology were introduced: propeller jets, which were used to help the two kids travel to the North Pole, and heat technology, in reference to helping Dr. Bohltz, when he and his henchmen/kids, Voltz and Wattz, get trapped during an avalanche, in their plan to take Santa’s sleigh.

As the episode came to an end, Terry invited Dr. Bohltz, Voltz, and Wattz to his Christmas party, because, as Terry said, “There’s cooler things to do, than stealing someone’s ride!”

Voltz and Wattz were excited by this offer, but, Dr. Bohltz turned around, declining it, saying how he didn’t need the young cat’s pity. The three villains then left, as Terry looked, disappointed and saddened. Ramona patted Terry on the back, and then told him that Santa was going to fly them back home. And so, Ramona and Terry get back home for the Christmas party, thanking Santa. The end of the episode skips to night time, as Terry looks out his window, holding a present that he had found on his doorstep, it wasn’t from Santa, and it wasn’t from his mom or his friends. Then, a thought struck the young tabbykat.

“I wonder if Dr. Bohltz had a nice Christmas…”

The episode then ended, and the credits rolled.

“What did you think…?” Naomi asked her friend. She was waiting for Lambchop’s opinion first, before she gushed about the episode. “I thought it was nice that Terry thought about Mr. Bohltz even though he was mean!” Lambchop said, even though she’d forgotten that Bohltz took the title of doctor. 

“Mmhm-” It was time for Naomi to infodump. “We’ll have to watch the show in order some day, but! There’s been theories about Dr. Bohltz being Terry’s dad, and with this episode- it– it really- I was one of the ones who believed in that, so when the ending came up-!” She started to rapidly shake her arms in excitement. “It was just!!! Ahhhh!!!” She squealed. “It’s a shame that the theory was never confirmed…” The sheep tilted her head. “Why wasn’t it? Did they not finish the show?” 

“Sadly, no… they got canned,” Naomi said, “But- there’s still something that remains of the show! The creators’ friend founded an entertainment center based off of TabbyKat’s Tech, in Florida! It’s pretty successful, too.”
