Do you guys think that Adrien will be able to speak with Gabriel in season 6? Like we know that by using the kwagatama, they can see the past holders of a specific miraculous. So like, if Adrien ever meets up with Nooroo, he can summon up his father or something. And he can actually have some sort of closure. Maybe scream at him. Yell at him for doing so much shit. For leaving him, for abandoning him. Just. Yell and scream at him about everything.
Yeah. I know it’s not gonna happen. I'm really sad we don't get to see Adrien getting a scene like Zuko did with Ozai. But it's fun to imagine. Unless there's a fic out there like this? 👀
(If not, can we please get a scene of Fèlix and Colt. Of Fèlix just pissing him off, and Colt can't do anything about it)

Wow wow wow, hold on a second.
With the Kwagatama one can bring back the memories of a former miraculous holder
But doesn't that mean Nino can - after receiving one too - summon the memories of Master Fu? No way did Fu not get a Kwagatama in all these years as last remaining guardian.

This is driving me nuts so i will make a post on it right now. So everyone knows the kawagatama right?
So in my overly extensive lore research, i learned about a certain kind of bead from ancient Japan and parts of Silla (Korea).
It's called a magatama, and you will sometimes see people wear similar beads as jewelry, like you see Mylene wearing.
I really need to emphasise that Mylene is not wearing a kwagatama. I've seen people thinking she was wearing a kwagatama but it is in fact a magatama.
From what i've read, magatamas seem to be associated with the soul.

A Review of Exaltation
They hate each other so much, lmao.
The loss of faith in Ladybug is really emphasised, I’m glad that the plot didn’t just go forward without mentioning the social ramifications of losing the Miraculous Box. The masses of Paris never had much of a role before, aside from being fearful civilians or supporters. In this season, however, they have gone from side-characters and scene-fillers to having voices of their own. Realistically, of course, people will have contentions with Ladybug. Jalil’s own little sister risking her life for what appears to be a foolhardy mission for Ladybug would irk his nerves. I didn't expect this, but I'm glad the writers wrote this in.
It’s symbolic that Lila’s avatar is the one reading the criticism.
Again, Chat Noir seems to have vanished.
Napoléon.
All the past Ladybugs are here.
This Jeanne d'Arc design is very eye-catching, but she looks far too old here. Jeanne d’Arc died at 19, and she’s immortalised as a fourteen-year-old. This Jeanne looks middle-aged. Far too grisly.
“She’s afraid of her feelings and running away by inventing new ones for someone unavailable.” There you go, they acknowledge it in the show, twice.
Doom-scrolling. This is a criticism on social media.
“If you ride horses, you would know it’s a trap.” This suggests that Adrien rides horses.
Scene of Félix and Adrien playing polo in London, when?
Oh, that is terrifying. Reminds me of the nightmare 2D sequences from The Prince of Egypt.
There a scene in the second Origins episode in Season 1 where Adrien is asked who was the first president of the 5th French Republic, and Adrien answers “Everyone thinks it was de Gaulle, but it was actually René City before the first elections.” A repeat of that happens here, where Adrien, or Chat Noir, is asked a question and he answers it while disapproving the common myth. Reminds the audience that no matter how he acts, Adrien is smart.
A lot of Season 1 callbacks, from villains, action sequences, to little moments like these.
Pharaoh is held in constraints of his own powers. He doesn’t control the truth either, the Book of Ma’at does.
This is a pretty cool sequence. I don’t know it its true or not, but the animation style is pretty neat. Looks like a moving tapestry.
“Missed again! How did they do it?” By attending their history classes.
No matter what else changes in Future Paris, I’m glad they kept the Louvre.
Bunnyx cameo.
Whoa, the new Cataclysm music? It sounds neither triumphant nor villainous. Just - here and ready to blast.
Since when did powered-up Ladybug have extra hair ribbons?
Monarch knows clearly that he’s the villain, no matter how well-intentioned his motives are.
The fact that Ladybug is a good person and does good things is an ultimate truth.
At least Jalil is willing to admit to his mistakes.
Might this be the first time that Gabriel leaves his lair without a single word of taunt or swearing revenge. He approaches Nathalie’s bedroom, and simply apologies. That single statement packs quite a lot of heat and history behind it. Despite gaining so much ground, winning so many new advantages, Gabriel doesn't feel an inch closer to victory.
This is a sweet story, touching on France's history of contention with the English, the idea that love and understanding can overcome differences. The oil paintings used to illustrate the story is inspired. But I really hate it whenever any media tries to absorb some real-world figures or mystery into their lore. George Washington was actually a child of Athena, the Stonehenge was created to fight aliens, Jack the Ripper was actually a demon slain by our hands. The Hell they are. I cannot accept that Sun Wukong was a normal man using a Monkey Miraculous, or that Mulan used the Dragon Miraculous to win her wars. Jeanne d’Arc is the only past Ladybug Holder that is an actual person, I think, and it’s just very strange to claim that her power came from Miraculous jewels. Pushes the suspension of disbelief even further.
Adrien gets his own Kwagatama, finally.

Let's suppose Marinette stops being Ladybug, renounces her Miraculous and also loses her memory
Let's suppose Marinette lives her life without memory of being Ladybug, and maybe she also undergoes some severe trauma in her post-Ladybug life - or worse yet, supernatural influence similar to akumatization or a Sailor Moon-style infusion with evil energy or something causing both a severe mental and physical change that beyond merely maturing or growing up - the point is she can hardly be considered the same person, but it would NOT be an alter or anything like that. More like she becomes The Bowler Hat Guy or Crocker. Then she gets her hands on the Ladybug Miraculous but still has possession of the kwagatama.
Would Reunion then just restore her memory, or would she be able to talk to her younger self as a separate construct?

I'm scared to ask but what happend for Ziibi not give kwagatamas anymore ?
It's because of the powers Ziibi grants, and what happened to his first holder who was given a kwagatama. Ziibi's powers lets the holder transform into any creature as long as they have something that was once apart of of that being (fur, feather, tooth, bone, scales, etc), and since kwagatamas are made from the hairs of previous holders, this current holder of Ziibi was curious if they could take on the appearance of past holders by using Ziibi's transformative powers with the kwagatama.
If two different items are placed within the shell locket of the Miraculous (say a bird feather and wolf fur), the magic will only transform the holder into one or the other. Both Ziibi and the holder assumed the same thing would happen with the kwagatama, and the holder would only take on the appearance of one of the past holders. However due to the magic of making a kwagatama, it was considered by the magic to only be one entity, and when they attempted to transform with it the magic essentially tried to turn this holder into multiple people at once, and this process ended up killing her.
Ziibi feels nothing but guilt for this since it was his powers that had done this, and he had gifted his holder the kwagatama in the first place. He hid the kwagatama in his Miracle Box, and refused to take on a holder for several generations after the death of his last one. It took time, but once he was at the point where he was ready to accept a new holder he never wanted something like that to happen again, so he's never made a kwagatama since.

Phantom thieves, the Kwagatamas are amazing, don’t you guys think so?
Ann points to to her kwagatama - a hairclip, which is a beautiful green rather than the usual yellow one.
Ann: I'm the only one in Japan who's gotten theirs! I think Yuuki's is coming up, so Barkk will give him his soon.
Yuuki and Barkk grin at the news. Shiho, off to the side, pouts.
Shiho: My birthday is March 4th. I've got a while...
Akira: Mine's on June 8th, so count yourself lucky.
Author B: By the way, Happy Belated Birthday to @gimme-more-caffeine!
