Lucifer's surprise birthday

(Some loosely inspired from Frozen Fever)

At first, Charisse and Lumiere know their father's birthday. However they never gave him a present or celebrate the birthday, probably they didn't want to make him stressed in a perfect day.

Right now they're teenager, Locks Siblings are discussing for a present before Lucifer's birthday is coming.

Among the conditions for giving a gift, the gift cannot be the most or least.

Days passed, they still have no idea. Until, Charisse got a message from Cadence and it is a picture of music performance. She then asked her for an advice.

Soon, Cadence replying back, "How about a surprise birthday party? And it has to be the most secret."

This idea is blast, and Charisse agreed, so did her brother.

They call their relatives and Simeon for a plan. All hiding the secret from Lucifer who's confuse a lot.

Finally, it's here!! Everyone gather around at Nymfevilla as Charisse planned for.

The cake and the decorations all in set.

Time to call the birthday boy wake up is here. Charisse feels exciting but anxious and worrisome, same as her relatives and Simeon.

Charisse asks Lumiere come over with her and orders demon uncles and cousins for protect the cake.

Teleport to the Melodie Kingdom, the siblings goes to the house and arrive at their fathers' room. They enter in, saw Lucifer still sleeping.

Charisse gently nudges her father. She calls her Cerberus puppy over to the bed to disturb his sleep.

After being told about the day his family has planned for them, Lucifer was pushed by his children to prepare.

Even though it is a great day, the day unfortunately was ruined by Lumiere who's suddenly get a cold. When Lumiere sneezes, neither of the family notice that two star pixies fly on the roof and scampered off.

Staring at the day, the siblings dressed in their new outfit with a spell of wardrobe change.

Locks Family heading out on a tour which involves following a long string that demon brothers and their children had wound through the house, leading Lucifer to different gifts.

later, Lucifer insists him is burning up in fever and needs to get into bed, which Lumiere finally agrees to

Through an hour, Lucifer is having a nice time but is concerned for Lumiere's health. He feels he have to back home to take a rest but Lumiere refuse.

Though seeing his children planning a perfect day for him, Lucifer still feel worry to Lumiere due to his illness.

A few minutes later, he noticed that Lumiere had a fever, as his cold was getting worse. He insisted that he go to bed.

Lumiere finally agreed.

As Lucifer and Charisse escorts Nymfevilla, Lumiere apologizes to his father for "ruining" another perfect birthday, but Lucifer tells him he hasn't, despite having a cold.

Then as they enter the castle gates, Lucifer is surprised by his relatives, brothers, Simeon, and the countless of little pixies who present him with his birthday cake.

Afterward, Lucifer and Charisse helps Lumiere to bed. He thanks him for a great birthday and giving him the best present he could ever have: letting him take care of his son.

"Why don't you tell everyone the present you have for me, Ben?" Um chuckled nervously. After Lumiere reveals a stained glass panel of Y/N and Ben, it seems that Ben was reaching towards it. Almost like he wasn't himself. Uma couldn't have that now could she?

Ben took a few steps towards the stairs, and looked around the room. "I have an announcement!" He declared.

Beast removed his glasses and walked down the stairs towards his son. Ben takes Uma's hand. "Uma will be joining the court tonight as my lady." Uma beams at Y/N as he looks shocked.

"No..." His subjects cried.

Beast gives him a look. "Son..." He began.

"NOT NOW, DAD! I AM NOT DONE YET!" Ben growled in his most beast-like voice. Scarier than his father's. His subjects jump in fear at their King's outburst. Ben groaned as he grabbed his head.

Ben's parents regard him with concerned looks. "Uh, so, as my gift, uh, to her... I'm bringing down the barrier once and for all." Everyone's jaw drops on surprise at that announcement.

On the Isle, Harry Hook watches the announcement on their busted up television set. He grins. "Mateys... We ride with the tide!" They all cheer and whoop. They stomped their feet and clapped their hands. Harry gives Gil a surly look, and locks lips with him in a heated and passionate kiss. Their time has finally come.

On the ship, Y/N, his sister, and their friends trade stunned looks. "Fairy Godmother." She turns to Ben. "Bring down the barrier." She gripped her wand tightly. "I most certainly will not."

"I AM YOUR KING! YOU SERVE ME!" Ben said.

"Obey him." Uma said.

"Ben's been spelled, Y/N." Mal whispered.

"Uma must have found your spell book." Evie said.

"You must have dropped it back on the Isle. We have to break it." Y/N said.

"The reverse spell. We can say it together." Mal grabbed her brother's hand as her eyes glowed a brilliant green. Y/N's eyes glowed red and his hair was set ablaze. "Repeat after me: Host soul reject the poison possession. Let love's light end this cruel obsession."

"Host soul reject the poison possession. Let love's light end this cruel obsession."

They cast the reverse spell, but nothing happened. "I don't understand. That spell should have worked."

Evie put a hand on Y/N's shoulder. "I think you're going to need the strongest of magic to save, Ben. True love."

"True love's kiss can break any spell or curse." Y/N nods. He takes a step towards Ben and Uma, ready to spill his guts in front of everyone. Hopefully, it's enough to save Ben.

Chapter 8 Love and DeepSpace thoughts!!!!

So we've come to the point where it just says "coming soon" and it's not level locked so that means that was this games " season finale " AND MANNN just some thoughts

Xavier confirmed Lumiere (though we all kinda knew)

My hunch is Xavier is some kinda of alien or super natural being from DeepSpace. Definitely a more shady person he's leading on too.

Xavier also mentioned something about no contact I wanna know what our connection is with him

Jeremiah seemed to know of us and was really?? Honored and shocked to be in our presence?? Why??? Is it because of the aethercore, does he already know us, or something else I dunno??

Rafayel being a merman just kinda checks, there were signs for sure.

Rafayel is either evil or on our side, he definitely sold us out in some way or another

That person Rafayel is talking to at the end had a highly detailed model which means he's gunna be important, he didn't sound like Caleb but he kinda looked like him... That's just my speculation though

What the fuck is Zayne defrosting??? OR FROSTING??? IDK??? It looked like it had a protocore so maybe some kind of monster??

I wanna know more about Zayne, I feel like we got bits and pieces for Xavier, we flat out got told Rafayel is a merman and is into some shady stuff. But Zayne we got very very little.

If the developers are gunna pull a Mr. Love Queen's Choice and make us some sort of pivotal part to this, the world is in some sort of danger. MC definitely seems to be capable but in the last chapter she was just careless so I'm curious to see if she remains a strong person or if she's gunna turn into a damsel in distress.

Anyway those are just my thoughts. Really excited for the future of this game. It's probably gunna be a month or two before the next chapter comes out. Those who played MLQC will know the pain of having to wait a long ass time for more story 🫠 (I only played like the first chapter of Hoyoverse's Otome game so idk if was the same deal.)

Hiya Daffodil! Thank you so much, and I’m doing pretty well, I’ve just been busy with school and life things as normal 😆. I hope you’re doing well too! And of course you may, I hope you enjoy this (also there is traces of Astelle and Lumiere x Secre in this as well 😆)!

“ Nerooo~! I gotta ask you something!” Asta shouted, his voice echoing around the God of Dooms temple.

The woman with short dark hair and red eyes sighed, what was it this time? Because the last time he needed to ask her something was how to unlock an ancient cabinet that Magna accidentally got locked inside of…

“ What is it, Asta?” She asked bluntly as she turned around to face him.

“ What did you and Lumiere do on your first date?!” He asked loudly, causing Secre to wince. “ Oh sorry; what did you and Lumiere do on your first date?” He repeated, using his inside voice this time, which made her sigh in relief.

A slight hum left her lips as she tried to recall that day, and after a few moments a soft smile appeared on her face.

“ We went to the Tanabata festival,” Secre told him, her voice soft and more affectionate than it normally was.

“ Back before the First Divine War, it was one of the few times that humans and gods could walk amongst each other freely,” She explained softly. “ So Lumiere and I decided that would be the perfect time to go on our first date.”

“ What did you two do on your date?” He asked with a tilt of his head, his voice full of curiosity. Secre hummed again as she tried to remember.

“ Well; we walked along the river, visited some stalls, we wrote our wishes on pieces of paper and hung them on the large bamboo tree in the middle of the city…” She trailed off, her voice growing softer and more affectionate as she remembered that night.

Asta smiled, anytime Secre thought about her husband she always had that look on her face; a look that screamed ‘I’m in love’.

“ But, why are you asking?” She questioned bluntly as she pulled herself out of her memories, the young man just grinned brightly at her.

“ Oh, I was just going around asking everyone in the temple what their first dates were like,” He laughed and a hand reached back to rub the back of his head; a tell-tale sign that he was nervous.

“ So you’re not asking because you want to ask Sister Lily out again?” Secre asked, and Asta quickly shook his head.

“ Of course not! The last time I asked Sister Lily out my mom almost killed me!” Asta exclaimed as the memory of his mother chasing him around the neighborhood as Liebe, his younger brother, and Sister Lily watched popped into his mind.

“ So…Noelle then?” She asked with a slightly raised brow, and Asta’s green eyes widened and a blush appeared on his face.

“ H-How did you know?!”

“ I guessed,” Secre responded with a small shrug.

One would have to be blind not to see that he and Noelle had been developing feelings for one another over the past few months. So it was inevitable that the two of them would be going out on a date to confirm their feelings at some point.

“ A-Anyway,” Asta stammered as he shook his head. “ So, what did you and Lumiere wish for?”

“ If I told you then it won’t come true, right?” She asked with a slightly raised brow, and Asta sighed.

“ C’mon Nero you made that wish over 6,000 years ago! Surely it’s alright to talk about it now!” He pointed out, which made the goddess hum in thought.

He had a point; it had been over 6 millennia since she made her wish, and there was the fact that her wish had come true so…surely she could talk about it.

“ My wish was to remain by my prince’s side forever,” She told him wistfully as she remembered writing down her wish on that piece of paper, silently hoping that the Original God would hear her plea and grant her wish.

“ But Lumiere was already a god wasn’t he? So weren’t you two were always going to be by each others sides forever?” He asked with a confused tilt of his head, which made Secre shake her head sadly.

“ Lumiere was a human back then,” She told him, and Asta’s eyes widened.

“ Hold on, seriously? Lumiere was a human?!” She nodded.

“ He was; in fact, he was a human prince back then,” Secre began as she once again got lost in her memories. “ But after he sacrificed himself for the people in his kingdom during the First Divine War, the Original God decided to reward him by allowing him to take the God of Lights place.”

Asta nodded slowly as he listened. He had no idea that Lumiere was originally a human, but at the same time it kind of made sense; Lumiere always seemed more empathetic towards humans than the other gods, and he seemed to be a lot more knowledgeable about them too. Asta had always just assumed that he had just studied and watched them over the years and that was how he was so knowledgeable, but him actually having been a human before made a lot more sense!

“ That’s so cool!” Asta exclaimed excitedly, his eyes bright and shining. “ I mean, it sucks that Lumiere had to die first; but at least your wish came true and now you and Lumiere are together forever!”

Secre’s eyes widened a bit at his sudden excited outburst, but eventually she let out a small giggle and nodded.

“ Yes, at least there was one good thing that came out of the tragedy that was the war,” Secre agreed, although she did feel bad since a lot more bad came out of that war than good.

“ Thanks for your help Nero! I think I might go with your suggestion and take Noelle to the Tanabata festival!” He said with a grateful nod and a bright smile before he turned around and ran out of the temple.

Secre watched him leave and shook her head slightly before she too turned around to walk out of the temple to go to Elysia so she could see her husband and ask him what he wished for that day 6,000 years ago.

Nightmare's Ward - With Dream King and the Stars out of commission from the otherworldly newcomers, Irene is forced to rely solely on the Nightmare King's powers. With the Bright and the Ruinous showing interest in whatever these things are, she forces herself to lock away all feelings of hesitancy.

Gilded Ringmaster - Doing away with his usual get up, Juliano takes on the new role of being a hopeful beacon for the surivors. While the circus seems to be immune from whatever has happened, the ringmaster can't help but fear for what may happen to his loved ones.

Asta: *Sirfetch'd, Marshadow, Machamp, Hawlucha, Aegislash, Gallade

Themes: Pokemons that are honorable and strong, seemingly normal but are strong, reference to Asta’s demon form and weapon

Sirfetch’d is Asta’s main pokemon as well as Marshaow, who is a reference to Liebe.

Asta personally connects with Hawlucha the most.

Noelle: *Gyardos, Primarina, Keldeo, Tinkaton, Milotic, Tsareena

Themes: Cute pokemons that are more dangerous than they look and/or pokemon that start off very weak/ugly, but become stronger/beautiful.

Gyrados is Noelle’s main pokemon. 

Noelle has the most trouble with Tsareena (Diva!).

Magna: *Houndoom, Scrafty, Mabosstiff, Obstagoon, Golisopod, Lycanroc (midnight)

Themes: Pokemons that look scary or look like a delinquent and are ready to battle no matter who they are up against.

Houndoom is Magna’s main pokemon.

Magna is most proud of Golisopod.

Luck: *Boltund, Toxtricity, Blaziken, Pawmo, Emolga, Hitmonlee

Themes: Pokemons with a lot of energy and can physically fight.

Boltund is Luck’s main pokemon.

Luck likes to (playfully) fight with Blaziken.

Finral: *Togetic, Lapris, Corviknight, Roserade, Mamoswine, Gogoat

Themes: Pokemon that are known for being transport pokemon, romantic pokemon, or overall peaceful in nature.

Togetic is Finral’s main pokemon.

Finral likes to bring Roserade to his dates to create a romantic atmosphere.

Vanessa: *Hatterne, Espeon, Gardevoir, Mismagius, Sprigatito, Victini 

Themes: Pokemons related to witches, femininity, cats, and associated with luck (victory).

Hatterne is Vanessa’s main pokemon.

Vanessa likes to let Sprigatito roam around because of its sweet scent.

Charmy:*Wooloo, Appletun, Slurpuff, Alcremie, Fidough, Morpeko 

Themes: Pokemons that are food-related and look soft and cute.

Wooloo is Charmy’s main pokemon.

Charmy relates to Morpeko when it gets hungry. They fight a lot for food though. 

Gordon: *Greavard, Weezing (Galarian Form), Mareanie, Clodsire, Muk, Gothorita 

Themes: Pokemons that look dangerous, but some are relatively harmless. Some are shaped like a friend and/or fit the goth aesthetic.

Greavard is Gordon’s main pokemon.

Gordon considers Gothorita as a little sister because they resemble each other a lot.

Grey: *Ditto, Eevee, Smeargle, Mr. Mime, Tandemaus, Mimikyu

Themes: Pokemons that mimic another pokemon or can copy another pokemon’s move. One also references Cinderella's mice.

Ditto is Grey’s main pokemon.

Grey connects with Mimikyu the most.

Gauche: *Alakazam, Ampharos, Prinplup, Malamar, Oranguru, Scizor

Themes: Pokemons that can use reflect and/or double team, and are known for being wise and/or prideful.

Alakazam is Gauche’s main pokemon.

Gauche has the most trouble with Prinplup.

Zora: *Zoroark, Grimmsnarl, Absol, Spiritomb, Gengar, Lucario

Themes: Pokemons known for being mischievous and pranksters. Some are misunderstood by others and have a strong sense of justice.

Zoroark is Zora’s main pokemon.

Zora likes to use Gengar the most for pranks.

Nero: *Swellow, Staraptor, Rufflet, Toucannon, Oricorio, Klefki 

Themes: Pokemons that are birds and related to locks (keys).

Swellow is Nero’s main pokemon.

Nero got Klefki from Lumiere and will forever cherish it. 

Henry: *Golurk, Rotom, Drampa, Swablu, Whimsicott, Blissey

Themes: Pokemon that are useful in a house, a reference to Henry’s raging black bull, or generally caring towards others.

Golurk is Henry’s main pokemon.

Henry was cared for by Blissey since he was young.

Nacht: *Umbreon, Mightyena, Honchkrow, Mudsdale, Liepard, Darkrai

Themes: Pokemon that reference his devils and his dark magic.

 Umbreon is Nacht’s main pokemon.

Nacht is wary of Darkrai during a moonless night.

Yami: *Kingambit, Greninja, Shiftry, Samurott, Pangoro, Slaking

Themes: Pokemons that are a reference to Japanese culture.

Kingambit is Yami’s main pokemon.

Yami gets irritated by Slaking because of its apparent laziness.

Despite created by Lucifer and Simeon, Charisse was treated as their daughter and less spoiled by them.

As she is the only girl lives with 3 men, women concerns about her future. People worries she and her father Lucifer's relationship in quarrels.

Charisse learned a lot from her fathers playing piano and dancing. She also found other talents like cooking, talking animals, and more.

She is fond of Simeon's novel writing ideas, but she truly rejected to read that "pranking" novel.

Charisse and her brother Lumiere interact with each other like friends, even though they are part of the family. She trusts and respects Lumiere's decisions and choices, but sometimes rejects some of his opinions.

As a child, she remembered Lucifer or Simeon would play lullabies on the piano while she and Lumiere fell asleep to the melody.

Uncles

Who is her favourite uncle you might ask?

Definitely is Belphegor, despite afraid of his yandere soul she can feel. Charisse is the first person come to visit him with his favourite family pack sushi.

Despite of busy at school and less sleep, she do like to take a nap with him.

If you might ask "Since Charisse, Lumiere and Satan were created by Lucifer, then they should be brothers and sisters".

True, but the answer is no. Even though they were created by the same person, that doesn't mean they are siblings. Second, Charisse and Lumiere always called Satan as "Uncle" rather than "Brother".

Regarding their relationship, Locks Siblings and Satan are sometimes seen as enemies, or as family.

When they were talking, they could carefully feel their uncle's aura and occasion, and they reminded themselves never to mention Lucifer to him.

About Luke, they didn't meet at the reunion or any event, only Simeon told them.

Charisse said she met Luke at the RAD, but never had a chance to interact. To other angels, they were rarely mentioned about by family to second generation.

Of the rest of the Demon Brothers, Charisse is the first to be embraced by Mammon, Asmodeus, or Beelzebub during their reunion.

Mammon was the only one who got messed up Charisse's hair after touching her head.

Asmo always asked her for hairstyling with Meribella. He sometimes gave or asked Charisse for some tips of beauty rituals she uses.

According to her personal, Charisse and Lumiere hates Diavolo and Barbatos, as they thought those are trying to break their family relationships and take a chance to be their stepfather.

Later, they realized they just naively believe those rumors, before telling their confessions to them.

It turned out that they only regarded Lucifer and Simeon as brothers, and even supported their choice without hesitation.

Klaus Mikaelson was many things and jealous was one of them. 

it was like the air changed whenever he saw Adrienne speaking to another person who wasn’t him. the sky would darken awfully quickly and the lively atmosphere would shift to something eerie and final. 

like a warning of some sorts. a warning to all who dared talk to what he declared was ‘his’.

Adrienne of course never took kindly to such warning, believing and knowing she could talk to whoever and whatever she liked without a thought. 

She was right and he knew that. 

He hated it as much as he knew, though, he still liked those to know what they could and couldn’t do around Adrienne. 

If rowdy men appeared at her place of work ‘the saints’ - a club that her family owned - and made a scene, by shouting or yelling obscenity at her and her dancers, Klaus would handle their retribution privately. 

In other words... he would drag them behind the building and kill them in any way he would deem fit. Beheading or extracting their hearts was a favourite of his. And when he would return to the club after dumping their bodies, Adrienne would appear with a towel in hand, for him to wipe the blood of his face. 

No. She certainly wasn’t happy about what he’d gotten up to, but she knew he wouldn’t change and had accepted that a while ago. 

A volatile man is a volatile man, So whenever Adrienne was seen with someone he knew  and disliked, he was told by one of his compelled vampires. If she was seen with someone he was unaware of, he would be told by one of his compelled vampires. Hell, if she was with someone he trusted, he would be told, informed or notified. 

It was suffocating to be with someone like him and Adrienne sometimes felt like she couldn’t breathe. 

Being with Klaus was a full time job. 

Kol wasn’t allowed near her, Elijah, he was cautious of, knowing how his brother was. Rebekah he could be lenient with and Marcel he trusted. Family was Family and yet Klaus could barely trust them around Adrienne. 

Even on the occasions where she simply went on a walk on her own, he would know. 

Klaus told himself he was doing it out of protection, care and love, but everyone knew he that was a fat load of bull. 

Adrienne’s brother Hadeon; Klaus’ friend warned her of his behaviour before they started courting which she only took with a grain of salt. 

Sometimes she wished she listened more closely. 

Oh how she loved Klaus, but also hated herself for allowing her to fall into his hands and what soft and caring hands they could be. 

He would frequently tell her of all the acts and sins he committed in her name. 

Was it a blessing to be with someone who would kill for you? She didn’t know anymore. Everything was getting so confusing. So utterly baffling. 

For someone so wise for the age of nineteen, Adrienne allowed herself to be captured by such a beast. 

But was it really her choice? Once he set his sights on her after her first performance at The Saints, was there anything that could be done? 

He claimed her beautiful brown pools entranced him, her sweet scent tempted him, her thick, kinky locks enchanted him, her smooth voice bewitched him and her chocolate coloured skin captivated him. 

So whenever she called him out on his jealous ways he rebutted and said “How could I not be wary, when you look so utterly breathtaking? When you sound the way you do, you are the way you are? it would be impossible for me to compose myself in any other way sweetheart?

Was his jealousy her fault? 

Or is that would he lead to believe?

Reasons why you shouldn't let the pets in the kitchen

Jupiter

He will in fact break all the plates and steal the silverware. He is capable of opening cabinets and will throw the plates out of them. He really likes spoons. Especially big serving spoons. He's mainly looking for snacks and gets upset when he can't find them

Schelm

He just hops on the counter and opens everything. He will shred the paper towels. Just unravel them and start shredding them to make a nest

Lumiere

Screams. He screams and screams and screams and screams and scr

He wants the food you have. Even if it's a bag. He needs it. He will jump on the counter no matter how you try to discipline him or how much you try to train him. He'll jump up and snatch whatever you have.

Vic

You better watch where you step because he is RIGHT under your feet. You better shuffle because you will step on him, and he will cry about it, but no he will not leave

Brush

The only one that is allowed. He has his own chef hat and stands there with a little whisk or spoon as if he is helping. However there are child locks on most things because of his thumbs. But he did help make dinner

King

Again, RIGHT UNDER YOUR FEET. His tail wags like crazy and he insists on taste testing everything for you. Needs to make sure it's safe.

Harry

He's just too tiny and he can't be in there. Someone will step on him and feel bad. He's just looking for snackies though. He knows this is the room they come from.

Bunta

DO NOT LET HIM IN. He will make as much noise as possible he will get a little bowl and small it against the counter repeatedly. Spoons? He's playing drums. He gets stuck under a bowl and is screaming to be saved and when you do, does it all again. He also knows he's not allowed with the glassware so what does he do? Goes in the glassware

Cherie

She means we'll. But she wants yummies. You're cooking something and it smells good and she must have it. As a baby she will jump onto the counter but as she gets bigger she'll just stand on her hind legs. You have to make sure you have some just for her

Puck

Drama king. Many angy thumps. Give him a raspberry or get bit on the ankle. Your choice. If you're in the kitchen and he isn't being fed snacks one after another you better watch out.

Time

He sleeps in the drawers. And cabnets. No clue how he got in there but now he's trying to get into the fridge because something smells good.

Lottie

She stands very close. Mainly because it's Sebastian in the kitchen. But she thinks she can get away with a lot because it's him. She wants to help but she's always standing in front of the drawer you need in. Also will not get away from the oven/stove when it's on.

Marshmallow

She loves to sleep by the oven when it's on. Toasty. But the timer will go off and she won't move and she'll growl about it. Also if you are in there be prepared for her to start howling(or whatever foxes do)

Mephie

Another fiend with thumbs. Only she's not here to help. She's the toddler who is using pots as drums. She also will move things around just to mess with you and you'll never find it again. She also keeps taking the whisk.

Louis

Again looking for snackies. But he likes to climb to the top of the fridge and when someone walks in jump, and glide into their face.

I watched Beauty and the Beast Enchanted Christmas with my friends last night and my absolute disdain for this movie came flooding back in full force so I need to rant about it.

Let me just start off by saying when I was a kid, I was not critical of any media I consumed. Either I liked all of it and thought it was good, or I just wasn't into it, thought it was boring, and stopped watching it.

Enchanted Christmas was the first and only movie I ever watched while I was still a kid that I decided was bad, and I felt gross after seeing it all the way through. I was six years old, and did not rewatch it again until now.

Because the Beast is an actual domestic abuser throughout this entire movie.

The whole premise is that the Beast was apparently cursed and transformed on Christmas day, so Christmas is a huge trigger for him and he wants to ban it entirely from the castle so he doesn't forget. Even though Belle and the rest of the castle staff want Christmas. Even though the rest of the castle staff were also cursed on Christmas, the Beast's pain is apparently the only pain that matters.

In fact he's so triggered by Christmas that he had his castle decorator, who was cursed to become a Christmas tree angel topper locked away in a box in the fucking attic this entire time? Belle, Chip and Lumiere had to sneak up there to go see her? Angelique did nothing wrong, but she basically got sealed away because of what she was cursed to turn into. And the whole experience left her feeling bitter and hopeless, and the movie just frames it like she's being needlessly pessimistic and needs to get over it.

And honestly, like, the movie doesn't even try to hide the fact that the Beast is a blatant abuser. Everyone's lines about it are just so realistic when it comes to regularly dealing with somebody who is prone to taking their rage out on others.

Belle: "I don't know why I bother. Now he's worse than ever." Belle: "Why is the Beast such a grump? Chip: "I dunno. He's always like that."

Beast: Yes, and I’m hideous. Lumiere: (softly) Not to mention ill-tempered.

Angelique: "Hmph! I refuse to hope for it any more. I will not be disappointed again."

Like, all of the dialogue about him is about how he's a miserable ass, how he forbids shit left and right, and how they all have to avoid pissing him off. The entire conflict is fueled by the Beast, and how he might react if any of the other characters try to find some joy in their situation.

And my god does he take all of his anger out on Belle. He's a bit snappy with his staff, but Belle is the shiny new resident punching bag. She tried teaching him about the Yule Log tradition, and his response was to get in her face and scream at her.

"You made a Christmas wish last year! Is this what you wished for!?"

My guy. Her current situation is entirely your fault. The Beast snatches things out of her hands, gets in her face and screams at her in retaliation for his own fucking actions.

Does anyone else recognize this? Have you ever had somebody try to rip you to shreds for trying to find light and joy in your situation, or daring to wish for better? Maybe some of you haven't, but a lot of people probably do.

This isn't even touching on the scene where the Beast throws Belle into the dungeon after she falls into an icy river. This is the part where the Beast crosses the line from being an asshole to being completely unforgivable.

Belle ends up going out into the woods to find a Christmas Tree because even though the Beast is being an absolute ass about Christmas, the rest of the staff including Chip, a literal child, are excited about it.

The Beast in response to all this destroys all of the decorations the castle staff had set up together (while Angelique is still on the table, but at no point during this movie does the Beast even acknowledge she exists) and chases after Belle. He finds her just after an accident where she fell into a frozen river, and while she is still fading in and out of consciousness, he just... locks her in the dungeon.

Beast: You said you'd never leave. Belle: I wasn't trying to leave. I just wanted to make you happy. Beast: You broke your word. And for that you will rot in this dungeon forever.

This part permanently soured the Beast for me as a character from childhood. Like... the movie explicitly shows Belle in a bad state after nearly drowning in icy water, and struggling to stay awake. They go as far as to animate that she is struggling to even SEE him.

His actions at this point could have killed her. Also, Chip, Cogsworth, Lumiere, and Fife were all out in the wilderness with her. Why is BELLE the only one he's punishing? Why is the only one capable of dying of hypothermia being locked in the dungeon!? Where's her coat that she had in the last scene? Why isn't she being kept warm!?

I see people defending this too, like "This is still early in his character arc!" No, this is scorched earth. This completely ruins their relationship. There isn't a fucking library on the planet that makes up for this.

This entire movie has been Belle trying to reach the Beast and show him kindness, and this is what she gets in return. The Beast does absolutely nothing for her in this movie to reciprocate the effort, only going as far as to let her out of the dungeon and apologize when he remembers she made a Christmas present for him. He doesn't return the favor, and instead outsources her gift to the movie's villain, Forte.

I think this is the only movie that absolutely disgusted me from an early age to this degree. I remember the entire time feeling sad and hopeless for Belle, that the movie just wants me to accept that the Beast can do this to her with no repercussions. Even the ending when they supposedly made up had me feeling sour, because it never acknowledged that the Beast did anything wrong. It just zooms in on his eyes while he asks "Can you forgive me?" and gives them a sparkle effect and that's that. He's going to love bomb her with "the best Christmas she's always wanted" and the whole leaving her to rot thing is never addressed again.

Anyways, Beauty and the Beast content outside of the original film always manages to just waste any potential the characters have, and reduce the main romance to an abusive dynamic. This movie COULD have been the Beast putting in effort to win Belle over, or make up for the fact that this is a Christmas she'll spend away from her father because of him. But instead the burden is put on Belle and she gets brutalized for her efforts.

Welcome to Rosalune!

“Based off of the loneliness of the Beastly Prince, Rosalune is quite a forgotten dorm ,with the number of students being sorted into it decreasing more and more as years go by..”

DORM INTRODUCTION

Rosalune is based off of the story of Beauty and the Beast ( both the original fairytale and the multiple movie renditions).

It’s based off of the loneliness of the Beastly Prince, who locked himself and his servants away in a dark, lonely castle.

It’s current housewarden is Lucien Moreau( Based off of the beast) and it’s vice housewarden is Claudine Sablier(Based off of Cogsworth).

Students of Rosalune are known for being introverted and quiet, not as willing to speak to others.

Students of Rosalune excel at Practical Magic and Defense Magic, Their housewarden being no exception.

DORM APPEARANCE

Once you step through the mirror to Rosalune, you are greeted to massive black gates and a steep pathway to climb, the dark castle looming in the distance. Once you step inside, it is almost like a labyrinth, with stairs leading to who knows where, and a ceiling so high that you couldn’t tell where it stopped. You get the sense that dorm hasn’t been well taken care of.

DORM UNIFORM

The dorm uniform of Rosalune is mainly based off of the beast’s ballroom outfit, with a blazer, undercoat, shirt and either pants or skirts for male and female students ( although all students of rosalune can wear either pants or skirts regardless of gender). I’ll be posting reference pictures soon.
