ok ok ok ok but do you see the vision. do you feel it in your bones??

two pilots who drifted incredibly well in the beginning of the program piloted the Eclipse. Because the government was pushing to popularize the jaegers, it was heavily themed and the pilots were nicknamed Solas and Lunar or Sun and Moon for short.

Eclipse was originally part of the "Glamrock" line of jaegers that were made to appeal to the public and hopefully bring some more money to the struggling program. This, obviously, failed when a rebel group (started by the notorious mafia boss William Afton (ex jaeger pilot, lost his other half Henry and supposedly lost the jaeger named Springsuit in the ocean while fighting a black and white striped kaiju nicknamed the Puppet) started hacking the program in what appeared to be a fit of rage over his lost jaeger and co-pilot.

He hacked the Glamrocks one by one, in subtle ways at first that barely affected their performance in battle, at least at first. It was just subtle enough to go unnoticed until it was too late.

Bonnie was the first to go, falling victim to the virus and Afton's control. Foxy fell shortly after, but they were able to recover the body and refurbish it into a new jaeger named Roxy.

When the Eclipse started to show signs of wear from the virus, there was talk of scrapping them. But sun and moon insisted they were fit to pilot and so the eclipse embarked on a fetal final mission. It fell to a kaiju that was mostly blue with two horizontal white stripes. Eclipse was thought to be lost to the bottom of the ocean. That was, until a kaiju with a red top-half and a ring of white around its neck found it. The fight stirred up water and brought the Eclipse close enough to the surface to get a radar reading on it. Turns out, the Eclipse was wandering the bottom of the ocean this entire time, its pilots just barely surviving in stasis inside. Pentecost took them in (in the new and questionably legal jeager program) and refurbished the Eclipse with a far less flashy look. it was built for speed, attacking quickly and with precision.

Many people complain about the "lack of logic" in AFTG but let me explain why it's in fact, logic:

It's a magic system.

In the same way that fantasy authors create rules for their magic worlds to work, All For the Game does the same, except that it uses rules very similar to the ones of our world and that's why some (many) things seem weird.

See, in books like Percy Jackson, for example, we get introduced little by little to the powers of demigods, mythological creatures, and weird gods little by little in such a way that we accept it because that world works like that. Is it logical that a dyslexic kid suddenly reads Greek and has powers? Have you met one like that?

Not likely, but we don't question that and follow along instead because that's how things go in that particular universe.

Think about any other fantasy novel out there.

Harry Potter, the Grishaverse, Narnia, ACOTAR, Lunar Chronicles, Hunger Games... You tell me.

They all have magic systems.

In AFTG should happen the same.

In that particular world it happened that a kid got drugged out of his mind legally, that another one manages to hide from the most powerful mafia with cheap dye and contacts, and that someone else manages to play at his fullest after escaping a cult around a fictional sport of all things.

If any of that would happen in our world, it would be absurd, but we get hooked into the books because that's how that world works. (And because it's character driven, Neil is a force narrating and some other elements that will have to wait for their own rant)

So, next time you read AFTG, don't think how illogical it is and how ridiculous it can be but assume that in that universe, that's how things work and enjoy the wild ride.

I made a little angst pic

Set in @sinclairmaxwellao3 "Lambs and Slaughters" mafia au fic I bring you another scenario I thought up.

Fazbear managed to get his runaway solar and lunar model animatronics back and being the gloating asshole he is sends the Celestial family a small video to taunt them. The video is just focused on Sun and Moon standing there scared while Fazbear speaks off camera. Sun's eyes are non functioning so he can't see if Moon is ok. Moon's mouth is covered signifying he can't speak so he can't tell Sun it will be ok.

Rosewood's Serenade- The eldest child of your kingdom, you have trained since birth to be all your home needs and more, intent to take the throne when the time comes, marriage or no. However, your parents harbor a secret, a deal struck when disaster threatened to destroy all they hold dear, and you soon find yourself meeting a most intriguing being...

Come and Go- A Megamind-inspired AU with Sun as Metroman, Moon as Megamind, and Eclipse as Titan, while you are a delivery driver caught in the middle.

Never Play Cat and Mouse With Vampires- Living alone is a necessity, your skills in hunting, magic, and evasion giving you all you need for contentment, or so you tell yourself. In your newest home you, unfortunately, find that your capabilities only draw the infatuation of three local creatures that are intent to finally capture you and make you theirs. Annoyingly, they may just get that chance.

Demonic- The saying of Hell is empty for all the demons are here has never been more apt. Caught smack dab in the middle of the infamous Hell-Day event, you come out with an unexpected passenger woven into your soul. Now, you secretly fight to preserve the fragile balance between mortals and the demons trapped on Earth, all while contending with the fact your new neighbors are the very ones responsible for sealing the gates, the infamous Celestial Graces. They also happen to be the mortal enemies of the one currently living in you. Fun times all around, especially with devil himself on your heels, seeking to reclaim what he lost.

Unusual- An oceanographer, there is no place you'd rather be than scouring the depths of the seven seas, studying its plant life and creatures, in particular the infamous mers, beings most of your co-workers are quite wary of. They don't seem to mind you too much, though, a fact you try not to put stock in until an encounter on the beach near your house flips your entire world upside down. Strings of fate and a battle to rule the oceans with you as the key? Ridiculous. Right?

Lich King AU- With the three realms in shambles, cut off from each other, it is up to the most powerful warriors of Earth to fend off the lich king and his Elite army, including his own brothers. Spirited Away AU- You have moved to a more remote region in hopes of forgetting a troubled family life. Content to spend your time among the lush jungles of the land, you inadvertently stumble upon an obviously long-forgotten temple. Curiosity eats at you, and you cannot help get closer, initially unaware of the myriad of eyes watching you, until you spot...an icy blue leopard? It's a good thing you helped those snakes and that spider on your way here.

Harem AU- You are a villainess, a job you quite revel in, bringing chaos to the masses alongside the clan of vampire brothers you have wrapped around your pretty, deadly little fingers. The centuries come and go with you weaving stories of heroes and villains at your leisure, spending the rest doting and being doted on by your suitors. Unfortunately, things take a turn when someone invades your world, offering a weapon to your latest hero that may actually be a problem for you. Just where in the hell are your fellow Storytellers? What is happening?

001 ▬▬ yohan is often referred to as "deadly nightshade" by his members because of how easily he scares them, the nickname stems from how during their trainee days, he quite literally terrified everyone without even trying.

002 ▬▬ yohan was born prematurely at only 24 weeks, because of the nature of his birth, he was expected to die after childbirth. he spent the first 2–3 years of his life in the hospital and had several health issues early on in his life. it is because he survived the odds that he was nicknamed "miracle" by his mother.

003 ▬▬ yohan didn't want to be the leader of meliora originally, because he was awkward and believed his lack of sociability would make him more of a liability than an asset in the leadership position, but he was chosen to be the groups leader by a majority vote cast by the members.

004 ▬▬ yohan is the only person keeping meliora from exploding into chaos, he constantly has to be around because if he isn't, everything will fall apart and the dorm will probably burn down. if he's absent from even a small schedule, the group is pretty much a mess.

005 ▬▬ yohan has a ragdoll cat named jinae, who he adopted just a few months before their debut. he has stated multiple times that he loves her more than any of his members.

006 ▬▬ yohan has been wearing glasses since he was 6. it took him so long to get a prescription because his eyesight would go from completely blurry to completely fine so he wasn't sure if he actually needed them for the longest time, but he did, and he often wears them off camera, during bts videos, or during "secret" livestreams.

007 ▬▬ yohan is not a huge fan of the romance genre, he wouldn't say he's hater (okay that's a little bit of a lie) but if he's recommended a romance movie, show, or book, he probably won't take a glance at it, he prefers psychological thrillers and things that end horribly, he always eats up bad endings.

008 ▬▬ yohan is very attentive. if you mention a small habit of yours, or a quirk, or simply something you enjoy, he will remember it. though it seems like he doesn't care, he does, he will always remember someone's interests, and do stuff they enjoy with them, even if he doesn't necessarily enjoy it himself.

009 ▬▬ yohan usually doesn't sleep much, but when he does manage to, he quite literally knocks out. he is such a heavy sleeper that a literal tornado could lift the house and he wouldn't even budge, the members have to do so much to even get to wake up.

010 ▬▬ recently, yohan became very good friends with kj of @syoul, despite their "awkward beginnings" and the both of them not exactly being the most sociable, they somehow became friends in the midst of a messy interaction between their groups. these days, they continuously mention and name each other, and they're a fan favorite duo of both fandoms (yunnies + aponias).
