Do you happen to know why does Jimin's dad's cafe follow RM's sister on Instagram? He doesn't even follow his own son (or any other BTS members) but RM's sister?? What's going on?

Well i don’t know who Jimin’s dad follows and who he doesn’t follow, sorry.

But why would your mind be going places if he is following RM’s sister? Lol. It could be that he knows her personally or they are friends or something. We literally don’t know why and cannot even begin to guess why that could be happening but the last thing your mind should be doing, is going places.

I wasn't caring about JM-JK merches in MAGNATE until I saw papa Park's billing system. He got chimmies, PTD jimin and a cookie on system where he takes orders. No way someone would leave it there as it's inside the counter. Only explanation is he took some figures from the gifts on the table and decorated there lol. Man picked 5 toys of his son and 1 his son in law's 🤡. They recently decorated it with Christmas hangings and cookie is still there ☝🤓

Hmm, I wonder if Jimin's dad has a favorite, apart from his son(s). Could it be Jungkook? 🤭

Anon, I was so surprised to see how that Christmas tree was decorated. It's very intentional. It's cute and eyebrow raising at the same time. Chimmy and Cookie come in pair, just like their real life counterparts.

Bangtan weekly report...

I wanted to do a Bangtan weekly report. Since January 15. But between real life and complete disinterest over what's been on the timeline I just haven't had the time or desire.

But, nevertheless, we press on.

I love IU's song and the MV starring Tae. He did really good. I've watched all the behind the scenes, hers and his.

The account on Instagram called @ rpwprpwprpwp (how do you pronounce that rr-pwip rr-pwip rr-pwip?) keeps posting images of Namjoon and now there are theories that the images are representative of each song from his next album. We wait(TM).

Everyday, hoping Namjoon and Tae are doing well in their assigned posts.

And hoping Jimin and Jungkook are doing all right. Thanking the universe everyday that they have each other to fall back on. I wonder if Jimin's love for snow will somewhat be tempered a little after this winter and next...

The Standing Next to You Usher remix behind the scenes videos were fun. I'm glad JK had the opportunity to work with Usher. I know the experience meant a lot to him. I miss his lip rings. He told Polyc he'd be considering a new tattoo when he was discharged. Can't wait...

I hope Yoongi is doing something he can at least consider is worthwhile. Just a tiny hint of what he's doing would be awesome but I understand if we never get that until he's discharged.

Excitedly anticipating Jin's discharge, as well as Hobi's. Jin's message yesterday was nice and now that we're about 4 months away from his discharge, I think about what might have been going through his mind at the time he recorded these messages. Hobi just graduated another bunch of new soldiers and will get some time off. Maybe we'll see him out and about on his Instagram this week.

For now, laying here, no thoughts/head empty.

Honestly, no jokes and being more rational. All those little figures, it's VERY possible that fans gave them to him/the Cafe when they stop by. So he just displayed the toys he was given and not that he went and picked out a small Jimin, a cooky and 3 Chimmys for his register lol

But unless someone asks where they came from, we may never know! So 🤷🏻‍♀️

What are your thoughts on jimin dad’s debacle? If you have any that is.

Yeah, I do have some thoughts. I assume you mean what has been going on at Magnate, right? I've been observing what has been happening for the past few days and all the opinions surrounding it.

Given the situation and the event that took place, I don't find it surprising that the cafe turned into a tourist attraction. Just as the mural. It was due to circumstances. Not that fans haven't visited Magnate before, but they went there simply as fans/customers and it was a stop in their itinerary. Mostly low-key and people filmed inside, took photos, without any of it being turned into a big deal. But given the current situation, with a large influx of people coming to Busan for a weekend, it was bound to happen. I saw Jimin's dad and other employees being hands on outside, offering water and other refreshments for those who had to stand there for hours. Does it make sense for me why people flocked to a cafe owned by a member's dad? Perhaps not. But I guess they saw it as just a really close connection to Jimin.

What I didn't like and found it odd to say the least, was some of the behavior exhibited there. I can look past going there straight from the airport to stand in line (after getting off a flight, I would head straight to the hotel to settle and freshen up, but that's me), but it turned into a mob which was crazy to see. It was like army were in the presence of the Mesia's father and they had to touch the man himself, as if some of those genes would rub off on them. It reminded me of Life of Brian. The man is not a public figure, he was just there managing his business and running the cafe and I think he did a good job taking care of everyone. It was obvious he was grateful for everyone and happy that all those people were there because of the direct association with Jimin. I would be proud myself if Jimin was my son. I'd gloat to everyone and their mother until they wouldn't stand me anymore.

As to criticisms regarding Jimin's father and Magnate, I can't take them seriously because I know they come from a place of hatred in regard to Jimin, as it's obvious in the way they phrase it. They say the man was profitting off from the Busan event and the fans being there. What was he supposed to do? Close it for the entire duration? When one of the purposes is that tourism can help local businesses as well and how this is a great opportunity? I bet all of Busan's restaurants/cafes gained a lot, but Jimin's father is to blame for doing what any normal owner would do. And there would have been no point in staying hidden and not show his face. He was working and taking orders at Magnate even before this. People knew who he was. I think he handled everything really well. Yeah, I do think it's odd to ask the man to hug the fans or to sign their Jimin photocards, but he did it. Because he knew why all those people were there. The man is proud of his son and he should be. Nothing that he did ever shown any sign that he's taking advantage of anything.

When I think about how supportive and accepting Jungkook and Jimin’s families really are it always gets me emotional. It must part of their destiny.

* This post isn’t about seeking validation from their families, it’s about true genuine support we were able to see.

1. Jungkook’s dad and brother and Jimin’s dad went with them to the airport to send them off to Tokyo in 2017.

2. Jungkook gave Jimin birthday flowers from jm’s dad.

3. Jungkook’s brother used to like jikook fanart on instagram and recently he opened a tag only for 1 jikook fanart.

4. Jimin’s dad used to have jikook photos in his cafe and he still has Jungkook’s cap in Magnate cafe.

5. Jimin’s dad recorded full Euphoria performance and he was smiling while recording it. 🥲

6. Jungkook’s mom said I love you to Jimin immediately when she heard him. 🥲

7. Jungkook’s mom made seaweed soup because it was Jimin’s birthday.

8. Jungkook said Jimin’s mom kimchi is really good.
