Cassie's Comforting Mac'n'cheese

Ingredients:

1 can of Spam original

1/3 brick of Velveeta

1 box pasta shells

Splash milk (any)

Cube and fry spam, set aside. Cook pasta according to box or to taste, mix in 1/3 brick Velveeta while still hot. Stir vigorously. Add milk until desired thickness. Mix in fried spam. Consume.

For added nostalgia, pair with a glass of tang.

can’t stop thinking about somebody saying that zuko is constantly going against his very nature in order to be evil and i will be crying about it forever frankly

#do you ever think about little baby zuko loving and adoring his mother #like that mama’s boy is gentle…..underneath…….All That #the complex relationship between zuko and literally every member of his family makes me actually lose my shit #zuko and ozai make me foam at the mouth ozai should rot but i also just love complex crunchy family dynamics #but i also think about at the end of book 1 #and jeong jeong talking about how fire is dangerous because it’s so unpredictable #which also speaks to the way firebenders wield their fire #the typical form that’s used in that they exert a lot of force and power on their opponent #probably largely because there’s truly only so much they can control with their own element #and only really gifted firebenders can master such a fickle element well enough to exert that kind of effort and focus #do you ever think about zuko learning and understanding all 4 elements to better his own mastery and form(s)#this post was supposed to be about zuko’s complexity and the fact that i went on an entirely unrelated tangent #that’s actually somewhat related too #just speaks for itself. one day ill make sense i swear #anyway if this doesn’t make sense. i’ll fix it later. maybe

Appreciation of little women's genuinely feminist messaging for its time and place of writing vs disgust at the all too obvious lingering sexist undertones vs wanting jo to be the queer icon she was meant to be vs understanding her desire to be able to fall on love without having her independence questioned vs knowledge that her marrying was certainly motivated by the expectations of a sexist audience vs wanting her and Laurie to end up together because you want to see couples who are actual friends and also you want Jo to be with someone who unapologetically likes her gender nonconformity and independence vs appreciating the inclusion of a plotline where a woman refuses a man and isn't demonised for it vs acknowledging the truthfulness of Jo's claim that people who make good friends won't necessarily make good life partners vs agreeing with the moral that childhood must end and change must be accepted vs hating the way every girl's process of maturing conveniently brings her closer to the motherly American housewife ideal vs i love stories where authors aren't coy about their beliefs vs this particular story is so blatant and pushy with its messaging it almost feels insulting vs the messaging itself is a mixed bag vs it's especially frustrating to see the writer vicariously pat herself on the back for writing something neither overly preachy nor amorally sensational vs oh my god this book is so obnoxiously christian. Double shift last weekend and this is the only picture I got (which my coworker actually took with me for her Facebook story RIGHT when I looked like shit and it was low effort makeup day because I had to be there early to open the bar)

#a drunk girl in the bathroom called me pretty and two other regulars kissed me on the cheek and called me pet names this is why I'm gay #one of those regulars (who's the bff of my coworker i haven't worked with yet because she's taking a break) asked me to have shots with her #she and the other girl are the sweetest every time i swear they're there almost every weekend and they call me Schatz and Maus #the moment i came back in after putting away my bag and jacket on saturday a middle aged guy mentioned my volbeat hoodie #talked about all the metal bands he's seen like judas priest acdc saxon iron maiden and showed me some new songs he's been into lately #later sang mama i'm coming home to/with me and he and another guy gave me lots of career advice and encouraged me to be bolder in interview #a metalhead dude with long blonde hair and beard (who was also at a concert I worked at last month) winked at me and gave me like €4 tips #and every time he ordered his drinks he put his hand on the back of my head to say it in my ear #because the music from the speakers above was kinda loud but technically not loud enough to do That gjsgfjdshhh 😭😭#he's so hot too he looks like a kind boyish viking idk if that makes sense but 😫😫#the amount of people who have flirted with me or acted a little bit 😏 in the last three months #but nothing came of it so far just trusting they'll come back soon when i'm working the shift again #no phone numbers no insta handles we pine like in the old days and smirk when we see each other for the first time in a while #my face #the bartender chronicles

- Moebius’s White Bird thingy.

- Leo is played by Bugs Bunny himself.( I mean since the first ep I felt it but they really had to drive it home in ‘Battle Nexus New York’ uh ?...On that note I really wish this version of Leo gets to meet Usagi. One day. Maybe.)

- The actual remake of a specific and infamous scene from AKIRA that has absolutely traumatized a lot of people in the past. ....That I will not show here bc.... Honestly I had a mini heart attack when I saw that and maybe other people will trigger. Geez Nickelodeon animators, using a kid show to trigger older generations who may have seen a very old and niche movie that younger generations probably never saw? For shame. (It was in the Mystery Meat episodes for those who wonder, when they get swallowed by the mutant.) Anyway I finished the show it was cool ! But ....Yeeeaaah....They really rushed the last eps of seasons 2 and it really shows.(There was...A few Deus Ex Machinas there and there) And that’s really a fucking shame bc if they had the time to make those 4 last episodes into bigger episodes ? It would have been even more epic.Plus..... I would really have loved to see the boys enjoying their time with their Gram Gram a lil’ more. (The noise I made when I saw Leo hugging her was not human) (Also I have many feels rn and now I CAN see the movie, see ya laters)
