This was easily one of the best Lupin episodes

#there will be a rant in the tags that you can ignore #but it is so upsetting how modern/current lupin took away the depths of these characters and flimsily tries to restore their earlier depth #i'm one of those people who craves depth in what i watch and it's so difficult to like this franchise because it will be so close to doing #something interesting only to abandon it #this episode and part one as a whole was peak lupin in my opinion with each character having emotional depth yet flaws to overcome #yet modern lupin would have you believe that these characters don't desire to improve in any capacity #if we were to just focus on Goemon for example right here he shows depth with revealing hidden emotional maturity and empathy for Lupin by #comforting him and admitting he himself is afraid (which is a big deal for a character like him who is supposed to be unflinching) #but in modern lupin goemon will literally say that he's not afraid of anything and this is written without any hint of irony or depth #i'm okay with mindless entertainment and i understand that this is a series simply about stealing but the character assassination is so #disappointing #and when this series does try to be “deep” they pick the most triggering subject matter possible to depict to the point where it's #practically unwatchable (this is in reference to Part 4 and its constant SA plots as well as the rampant gratuitous child abuse plots #throughout the entire series) #i want so badly to love lupin the 3rd but it's a huge problem when fanfiction understands the characters better than the source material #lupin iii #lupin the third #lupin the 3rd #goemon ishikawa xiii #goemon #arsene lupin iii #jigen daisuke #daisuke jigen #fujiko mine #part 1

Outside, he passed a few of the patrons who caused Jaune to chuckled as they barraged him with cheers, and wolf-whistles. It was all in good fun. The guys of the oyster knew Jaune's orientation, and respected it... but they couldn't hold back the appreciation of his bod.

Shaking his head, he moved down the street away from the small group towards the taxi stand. Pulling out his scroll, he began to flip through his contact list for the cab company he routinely used. As he passed the second alley that separated himself from the stand, a group of about four scruffy looking guys stepped out into his path.

First: Hey.

Jaune: (Feeling a little uncomfortable reached into his hoodie pocket and gripped the can of pepper-spray hidden there) Hey.

Second: Caught your show. You're a very good dancer.

Jaune: Ah, thank you?

First: Care to join us for a private party?

Jaune: Ah, no. Sorry, I'm just heading home.

Third: (Closing in on Jaune) You sure? We can make it well worth your while.

Jaune: Yeah, again, thank you... but I'm just going to head home.

First: Come on, sweet cheeks. The way you shook that fine ass, just told me you'd be up for some more... fun.

Jaune: Okay, I'm not interested. So please let me...

Fourth: (Grabs Jaune by the arm) Not so fast, queer-bait.

Jaune had driven his knee into the groin of the first guy, and attempted to yank his arm free, while also pulling out the pepper-spray. While the first guy crumpled, the other three jumped on him. A calloused first caught Jaune in the jaw as a second pair of hands grabbed his other arm and yanked it roughly backwards.

Jaune: HEL...

His shout was cut off by a vicious fist to his gut. The hit drove the air from his lungs and caused him to heave.

First: (Grunting as he stood holding his crotch) Get the little bitch into the alley.

Third: (As he grabbed Jaune by the hair) We're going to make your dreams come true, faggot. A train of cock plowing that tight little ass.

Jaune tried to struggle, but between the three restraining him, and the blow to his gut, he couldn't muster the strength. Once he was pulled into the shadows, he was shoved roughly against the side of a brick building before suffering another vicious shot to his exposed stomach.

The blow doubled him over, and caused him to drop to his knees amidst the trash and filth that coated the ground.

First: Pull him up. I'm going to teach this little slut his rightful place.

Jaune found himself pulled to his feet and shoved over the edge of a nearly full trash bin. Held down by two of his attackers, he was powerless to break free. The sound of a zipper being pulled caused his face to pale, and his body to start shaking. Tear began to form in his eyes.

Third: (Chuckling darkly) After we're done with him, I bet he comes crawling back to get another taste.

It was over before it could even start. Jaune's attackers were down and out, and as Scarlet cradled Jaune's sobbing form, sirens shrieked in the distance.

Bear: Let's get him up and to the club. My boys will keep these guys under wraps.

Jaune couldn't stop crying as Scarlet and one of the Bears helped him pull up his pants, and then supported him the whole way back to the club.

Jaune: How?

Scarlet: A couple of the guys thought they heard a scream and when we saw that you weren't standing at the taxi stand we grew a little worried.

Jaune: Why? Why?

Scarlet: It's okay, Jaune. None of this was your fault. Those trash were nothing but animals. We've got you, we'll keep safe.

Club Owner: Paramedics are on the way.
