How about if I painted the left pauldron of my Imperial Knight in a mediaeval manuscript style?
Obviously this is still very much WIP, but I think you'll get the idea! 馃槃 The plan is that the second half will show a fighting scene of a knight defeating a monster in melee, but I'll need to find a good (and goofy) reference for the monster first.
Also painting in this style helps with my fear of freehanding, because even if dimensions are a bit off, I can just say that it's part of the aesthetic 馃槅馃拋
Protip: Now is a great time to get wargaming/ TTRPG terrain, since a lot of stores are doing deep discounts on Christmas decorations, and that includes those little Christmas village displays-- perfect for use in miniatures games.

Also, put bright yellow in the center of the lens, sealed it, then put a gloss finish on lenses and the gem.
