So I've heard an argument saying that Andrea only really did what she did for her social status and not out of the kindness of her heart.

It's a valid argument but quite frankly I think it's wrong. But no worries I could explain and back up my thoughts.

Andréa remembered everything. She brought up the time Molly saved her ass in the cheating scandal, she brought up the time they made a movie, even after it was a disaster she still thought about how Molly was there and in her head they did that together. It was a moment to her. Not too mention that she brought up a very important detail that a person just wouldn't bring up if they didn't care. She brought up hers and Molly's first impression towards one another and briefly mentioned how it was clearly rough and messy and toxic. But Andrea remembered all those good deeds Molly did for her and that's enough for her too look deeper down on their bond to find the special little parts of their now growing Geode friendship that Andrea wants to see shine and appreciates.

And in the lucky penny episode. When Libby came up to her and asked her for change, while Andrea did look stuck up and like a rich brat like always, a detail I haven't seen or heard anyone talk about is how Andrea actually tries to make an effort to relate to Libbys situation instead of just pushing her away or treating her like a social outcast like she did in the first ep. Granted you can make the argument that Libby was set free from that by scratch but I still think it's little parts of Andreas character growing here and there for the better. You just have to analyze these moments well.

Andrea doesn't understand the concept of friendship like the others do clearly, but she's trying too. It's just baby steps. Like her going into the woods and seeing Molly and her family living in those conditions and not exactly knowing how to react but still feeling some sort of way about it all.

She already clearly cares for Molly and can see the struggles in those suffering around her. I have no reason to believe she didn't do a good deed out of the kindness of her heart, when there's so much evidence that points towards that.

Another point I wanna make is. You gotta look at this scene more closely cause immediately you notice something pretty different from other Andréa scenes.

She's not recording. She's holding the phone in her hand yeah but she's talking to Molly head on and not the camera. She kept this whole conversation between just them two. The interruption of social status is not present when Andrea is talking to Molly and it sure as hell isn't present when she hugged her. Andrea thought of recording none of this. Her phone is facing completely different direction from them.

There going to be shipping wars over Ghost and Molly. Especially now with this new guy and some people will hate this kid for simply existence. (Don't want other Starvs shipping war) already predicting Some parents will probably company about the period episode like they did with baymax series.

I hope not XD. I'm still interested in Mollibby and Mollandrea, but I think I might like to try my hand at writing some Molliver once season 2 comes out. I'd rather not get hate for that just because some people can't differentiate between canon and fanon.

That wouldn't surprise me, although I'm not sure if TGAMM is big enough to get a huge controversy around it like we saw with Turning Red.

There's been an upsurge of Mollandrea talk, and I'm here just to get my thoughts out. During the new episode. Andrea did a good thing for Molly and declared her and Molly best friends. The minute this happened, people started shipping the two more and started comparing them to Lumity. I think it is stupid because 1. This doesn't really negate Andrea's arrogant personality. And 2. Molly has mostly been dismissive of Andrea and has never really shown any interest in being Andrea's friend (unlike how Luz showed interest in befriending Amity). I can't tell if people are choosing to ignore how sapphic Molly and Libby are or if they really are actually blind (I mean, Molly sung a whole song about Libby, c'mon). Those are my thoughts. I tried my damned hardest to make this not seem too rude, but I'm sure someone's gonna be upset.
