I don’t know much about pregnancy so I’m not sure if this works, but that headcannon you wrote made me wonder if it can be seen as Carlos’ voice calming the babies? Like they would be making a fuss and making Lando uncomfortable, so Carlos notices and asks if he’s ok and the babies quiet down immediately on the sound of his voice. Maybe Lando makes Carlos chat to the bump or read to them or “read them the cake mix ingredients or the golf rule book for all I care I just need a nap”

I didn’t respond to this yesterday I’m sorry but YES YES YES!!! And I don’t think they realize that until one day Lando’s in a lot of pain from the babies acting up (“They’re trying to kill each other—and me!!”) and Carlos puts his hand on Lando’s stomach because he thinks he might be able to feel it, but right before he does, he gets real close and says, “Ay, babies, you cannot do this, eh? You’re best friends!” and Lando just groans from relief. Carlos can’t feel them and he’s dejected but Lando just looks at him tiredly and says, “Thank you.”

Carlos blinks. “You think- did I do that?”

Lando just feels this immense rush of love for Carlos. He sighs and reaches for Carlos’ face. “Well, makes sense, doesn’t it? You calm me down. You calm them down.”

Carlos just presses his cheek against Lando’s belly while Lando strokes his hair. He smiles softly. “I felt maybe- maybe they didn’t want me to-”

“They’re fetuses,” Lando says blankly, and Carlos clicks his tongue.

“You know what I mean. I mean- I know it’s stupid. But…”

“It’s not stupid,” Lando says, “and now you know they don’t hate you. They love you. Enough that they want to listen to you. Even if they don’t want to listen to the guy carrying them.”

And as Lando starts berating the babies, Carlos’ smile doesn’t fade. It’s not the acknowledgment he was expecting…but it’s an acknowledgment, nonetheless, that his babies know him and know his voice.

Plus, he gets to be extremely helpful to Lando. And in fact, the first time he feels the babies kick is in response to Lando passing out while Carlos reads a Spanish book out loud. He has one hand lightly against Lando’s belly, reading, and after a particularly loud snore from Lando that makes Carlos snort, he feels it: the barest tremor, like Lando’s stomach churning, but targeted. Purposeful.

And he’s glad Lando’s asleep because he knows Lando would make fun of him weeping silently.

omg pregnant lando would be a MESS. but luckily carlos is so obsessed with him… truly the only man in the universe that can handle lando but especially PREGNANT lando. lando would def randomly resent carlos for the whole situation but he’d get over it like the next night and feel super guilty and soft bc carlos cares so much and loves both lando and the baby so much.

1) Umm, oh there’s so many that I loved reading! I can’t think of one favourite story off the top of my head.

2+3) Well. None I ship as passionately as the Husbands and Mawis, but I do sometimes dabble in other ships. A Voyage of Hope and Dreams for example features Charlos and Norrussell (anyone that can give me a better shipname for the latter is welcome), also Brocedes, in a less favourable light. I don’t tend to write other ships in stories of their own though, and I don’t plan to. For the foreseeable future at least. But other ships may always feature on the side in one of my many (planned) works for Mawis and the Husbands. I do like reading Carlando and Sewis as well though! I’ve also read some Charles/Pierre and some George/Lewis, but those last ones I tend to stumble across accidentally.

4) Oof, honestly, I’m not big on omegaverse and I don’t fully understand how it works, so I don’t really have any headcanons. I like reading it every once in a while, but I don’t have any particular headcanons and I don’t plan on writing any omegaverse stories myself.

5) I could see that, honestly. I wouldn’t write it, but I could see it, yeah. If I had to wager a guess and based on how I tend to write the Husbands, I’d go Christian but I really don’t know.

I will be honest with you- I can't see myself writing mpreg seriously. I have a bit of a fear of getting pregnant... im not very maternal either. The best I could do is maybe them adopting a cat.

As for everything else... im already cooking up something big, (prosenna obviously) another multi champter monster. Its good if i have to say so myself, but itll take a while.

Thinking of Carlos quietly being despondent that he can’t feel their babies kick. He’s being so brave about it and saying it’s not a big deal, that it will happen soon, but Lando can tell how impatient he is and how badly he wants to feel their babies. So, Lando makes it his mission to make sure Carlos feels the baby. Only, it results in situations like Lando screaming, “CARLOS, GET OVER HERE!” and Carlos nearly having a heart attack as he trips down the stairs to get to Lando…only for Lando to be vigorously patting his belly and beckoning Carlos over.

“C’mon, I think they’re fighting or something!”

“You– I thought you were dying!”

“Why would I be dying? Come here, they’re going to make up!”

So Carlos exhaustedly makes his way over to Lando and puts his hand on Lando’s belly, where Lando indicates for him to. He feels nothing, so now Lando is pouting and Carlos is still in high-adrenaline mode. This happens several times before Carlos finally sits Lando down and says, “You cannot scream like that. It is not good for my heart.”

Lando glares and says, “You not feeling the babies isn’t good for my heart, mate. And my heart’s working over time for these little shits.”

It’s a fair point, Carlos grants him.

he'd just be genuinely having a bad time like he'd be freaked out by his own body/sickness/cravings and having an avoidant personality he'd just Not read any of the pregnancy books or videos cause if he acts like it's not there he can just pretend he's on a 9 month break to stay home and golf (and then Carlos tells him he can't golf anymore 😔) he'd watch like One birthing video and want to die and just live in a state of complete cognitive dissonance that he's Pregnant fr fr

Carlos would at least try to be very good about it, but he'd be on the other end of the spectrum where he's TOO caring, he's kissing Lando's flat stomach he won't let him drive even tho it's barely been 10 weeks and it's nice but incredibly suffocating (plus Lando's emotions are haywire so he's like IM FORCING HIM TO BE HERE HE DOESNT ACTUALLY WANT THIS to I need him to raw me immediately every 5 minutes)

Gah, I hate to say it, but FNAF. Don’t get me wrong, I still love FNAF, not as much as I used to, but it being my first fandom?

RWBY definitely, technically Voltron (the one I listed as Voltron I actually wrote for a short story comp and changed it to the Voltron characters) and Tangled at the minute.

Uh, Simi, Brocedes, Botsimi, Carlando, quite a few F1 ones actually, definitely Kevin/Stoffel- I was never a Kevin fan but it’s a cute ship

Unsurprisingly,  5 Times Stoffel Found Out He Was Pregnant, for both Hits and Kudos. I’m not sure why, it was kinda a crackfic to quench my thirst for mpreg and Stoffel/Nando.

Oh my god. He starts watching videos of people eating massive things of sushi once they deliver and he’s like, “…I never noticed how pretty sushi was before.”

Carlos magically appears and is like, “Um. Can you repeat that?”

Lando just glares at him and says, “No.”

“No, because, I want to take care of you. So I want to know—would you like sushi after you give birth?”

“No, I FUCKING wouldn’t. That’s disgusting.”

Carlos just smiles sweetly and says, “Okay, mi vida.”

But every single time they pass by a Japanese restaurant, Lando looks slightly wantingly at the displays. And then he glares at Carlos, who is always just there with a shit-eating grin. They don’t address it, but they both know.

Ok because I can so see Carlos being so attentive while Lando is pregnant to the point it really annoys Lando who is screaming that he’s not an invalid and he’s perfectly capable of getting his own orange juice whilst Carlos is just going “yes dear, I ordered it specially from Valencia for you”

The dotingEST. ESPECIALLY WHEN HE FINDS OUT THEY’RE HAVING TWINS like are you kidding. He’s absolutely out rly the kind of person who googles every single symptom Lando shows the slightest sign of and works himself into a tizzy because nothing is more terrifying than googling something about pregnancy lmfao. He finds out you’re not supposed to have unpasteurized juice, but Lando loves fresh orange juice, so yes to the orange juice from Valencia that he can make sure is the highest possible quality while also being pasteurized. This is the closest Carlos gets to being a Karen btw (we know Lando develops Karen tendencies when he’s a parent) because when they go to a restaurant, he’ll grill the poor waiter about every single ingredient in anything Lando is interested in.

“Is it organic? From where? Which farm? Goat cheese? From where? Is it chèvre? Then no.”

“CARLOS.”

“No. You cannot have chèvre.”

“Oh my god; I don’t even know what chèvre IS.”

“Exactly. And you do not need to.”

He calms down eventually, especially after Lando threatens to go skydiving if Carlos doesn’t chill the fuck out, and he seems serious enough that Carlos doesn’t want to call the bluff.
