Alternate rehair flutter pony Lily has landed! 🦋 In honor of Earth Day, the Facebook rehair group challenge was to rehair a pony with flowers in her symbol! I originally planned to rehair a sweetheart sister, but I found Lily instead. I bet a lot of customizers end up with lots of flutter ponies in their bait boxes like me, since they have very long, curly hair that usually ends up tangled pretty easily! 🌸 This gal got the rainbow treatment like my last flutter pony rehair, but this time I went in reverse! I used Minty (from intothedollyverse), Lunaria, Serenity, and Champagne from Shimmerlocks. I also included some ‘before’ shots, so you could see how dramatic her glow-up was! 🌈

I call this "Biblically Accurate Poseable Rainbow Dash"!

I got her thrifting for like $8, and then cut off all her damaged rooted hair, and then installed some monster high joints in her wing holes and tail holes, then I sculpted her hair and painted everything :)

I also resculpted her face and thighs a bit, I was trying to make her pretty accurate to the show, I think I did pretty good!

My Little Pony Color Challenge

Curious if anyone would be interested in a My Little Pony Color Challenge. What would a My Little Pony Color Challenge be? Where you would be taking pictures of ponies of one particular color each month with prompts given. There would be a different color each month and no more than 14 prompts total for the month. Those prompts would be the same every month. You could take pictures for as many or as few of the prompts as you wanted.

As some colors do not have a lot of ponies for them you could base that month's color off of the pony's body color, the pony's hair color or even the pony's eye color. Hopefully this would help with giving more options for some lesser used colors (such as red). Ponies can be from any generation! HQG1C and custom ponies are welcome too! If you only have one pony that fits a month's color that's okay. Perfectly fine to use the same pony for multiple or all prompts.

Prompts would be more open to interpretation. Hopefully that would make it more fun and less of a chore. Something like say "daily life", could be a pony cooking, watching a movie, shopping, date night … anything you like (obviously do keep it safe for all ages, please!).

I'm looking at this as a way to challenge myself, anyway, to take pictures of more ponies instead of just my favorites all the time. Thought this might be fun for others too. Also total win for everyone, as we'd all have more pretty My Little Pony pictures to look at. 😍

The Color Challenge would not be starting until January 2024. Asking this in advance to know if anyone else would be interested in whatever prompts I come up with and the color selected for each month. Everything for the entire year would be posted late December to give people a chance to look it over and decide if it is something they'd want to participate in too.

Happy Leap Year from Southwestern Baby Ribbs!! This little cutie has been bald in my stash for possibly years, and when my FB group had a challenge to rehair a baby pony, I thought he’d be perfect! I really got stuck on what colors to use, and my friend Marbletoast helped me come up with a whole bunch of great ones, and when she said Southwest, I said SOLD! 🤣 Luckily I had all the colors I needed in my stash, but they got a little wild when I set him up to dry in front of the fan! 🤔 Ah well! I didn’t want to do ringlets, since he’s a playful baby brother after all! He also has an itty bitty amount of plugs, and sadly Buttercream doesn’t show up as creamy as I’d hoped with only six plugs! 🤣 His hair colors are (in order) Shimmerlocks Powder Puff, Dollyhair Buttercream, SL Crumpet and DH Pumpkin Spice! Have a great day - it only comes every four years after all! 🤣

I’m on a very long mission, a mission of turning 14 of my characters from a long old story, into ponies. I’m now 9/14 five more to go 😃

Here is my newest Gabriel. He’s the lead tech/hacker for the group.

I did Laurence, the commander of the group, a while ago. Worked on him a bit when I realised he had no eyebrows and his hair was too thin for my taste so fixed that too.

To this day, none of them have their cutie marks >.> Someday they’ll have them though.

While they are alicorns, they don’t have those beast powers that alicorns usually carry. They’re just regular ponies with the ability to fly and weaker versions of magic that the unicorns possess.

Except Ethan, my main character. He’s a full on alicorn.
