Let me just introduce myself and give you a little insight of what's going on. Hi ,I'm Shanelle! I'm from Delaware. I'm 27 and I've been married to the LOML Keith since 1.20.2020 👰🏿🤵🏿 (newlyweds!!!😍). We've been trying to conceive for what seems like forever! (A Year) . I felt as though something wasn't right (I mean c'mon we've been going at it like rabbits🐇🐇🤸🏾‍♀️😂) so I made an appointment with my OB/GYN to see if he could tell me what's up. Just for a little back story I've previously went to an OB/GYN and she just wrote me of as having PCOS without having tests done to confirm or deny her suspicions so I moved to Dr. Picazo. I had my 1st consultation with him told him what was going on and he had given me my blood tests the same day!! I can't tell you how happy that made me! (I'm a sucker for immediate action.) Fast forward to about 2 weeks later I get a call from Dr. Picazo and he tells me that my blood work results are back and that it seems as though I'm not ovulating regularly, other than that the rest of my results look fine. He suggested that I go to a fertility specialist in order to further my pregnancy journey. I decided to go with RADfertility (Reproductive Associates of Delaware). I had my first "appointment" with RAD on May 13th over the phone due to Covid-19 closures. I spoke with Dr. McGuirk. She asked me the normal questions a Dr. would ask new patients. After all was said and done I was told to quit smoking cigarettes (shocker), weed, and to not drink alcohol. Yup all my fun gone but it's for a great cause and a healthier life! Dr. McGuirk also put me on a strict diet.

No Gluten

No Dairy ( OMG NO CHEESE?! 😭)

No fruit ( due to high sugar content)

I also have to intermittent fast (no food from 7pm-11 am)

Anything that tastes good is gone.

So now I'm on a diet and patiently waiting for RAD to open back up so my first in person appointment can be made. I'm not gonna lie I'm stressed, so is my husband but.. we're making it work. (he's not dieting but he did quit smoking ❤)

It’s mega disappointing that the Canadian government has done zilch to support our aviation industry during these trying times. Meanwhile, other countries are seeing their governments put money into their national airlines, making sure that they recover with a good market share. It’s hard to witness this level of government mishandling both as a pilot, and Canadian. ⁣ ⁣⁣ On the other hand, I’m proud and happy to share that many of our pilot friends are some of first in Canada to play a huge part making sure the COVID-19 vaccine is distributed around the country, especially to northern communities. Go cargo go! ⁣ ⁣⁣ As Ed Sims says, this vaccine “gives us hope.” He continues with, “As tough as the next six months are going to be, I think we will get back to where we were in 2019,” he said. “Now, will that be in 2022, will it be in 2023? I think that’s still to be determined. But I am feeling more confident than I was in May that we will get back to that long-term strategy.”⁣ ⁣⁣ Get vaccinated and get vacationing people! Trust His Timing

I was tryin to get pregnant for over two years. Frustration, depression, envy, pressure, disappointment, and anxiety. I felt all those during the process. I wasn't getting any younger and i felt the need to bear a child as soon as possible. Getting married wasn't even my priority anymore. I had to have a child, I told myself.

One day, I decided to lift it all up to Him. I fervently prayed that in His time, it may happen.

My colleagues were getting pregnant one by one. Someone who's been trying for more than five years of marriage, another who's bearing their second child after a year in between, someone younger than me by two years whom I thought has no plans of having a baby yet got pregnant, and another who's also having her second child. Who's left out? Me.

But you know what, it never affected me coz I learned to trust His timing. They'd often tease me and say, "sana ikaw na ang next". I tell them, "darating din ako dyan sa tamang panahon".

I admit, we weren't religiously going to church. On Sundays, we just stay home and rest. I'm guilty of not honoring that commandment so I thought that makes me less deserving of His blessings. So I thought, why not make it a habit to read at least a verse a day from the Bible. I downloaded Our Daily Bread from the Playstore and decided to read everyday.

My soul started to be fed spiritually. I share my daily reflections thru my FB stories.

I went on with the flow. Never pressured. Bought some products believed to be effective for fertility to help myself.

Right after finishing the box of juice we ordered, wish granted. He made those products as instruments to answer my prayers.

So that's part of this journey.

Believe, trust, and pray. God is good. He listens and does what is best for you. Just trust His timing. xo, KC

PS. Sharing my story really late. I’m on my 38th week as I write this. The only time I get to sit and write my thoughts.
