A few people asked for my paragraph rant about Louis acting in the bed scene and well 👉👈 I'm not sure how many people watch the behind the scenes of their first bed scene but it really underlines, or rather, adds how brilliantly it was done but also took a lot out of Louis as an actor. He was still very quiet if not reserved while talking about the scene, leaving most of the talking to Nat while he is still catching himself from the emotions he conjured up.

This scene is by far my favorite intimate scene I have ever seen. Dian perfectly brings together the desperation and need when Aidi first kisses ChenYi, but what we can also see is a bit of anger with frowned brows and hard kissing. That now that he's drunk not knowing who is his with (for that moment) he allows affection like this, even pressing for it so there is definitely pain, anger and need coming together. Jiang Dian makes the audience feel that, he really pulls us into the scene with him. And then you see those emotions be washed away in a second of contemplation, replaced for pure pain the moment they are shirtless and Aidi grasps desperately to be close to Chenyi like his life depends on it. What's left is love and pain and regret.

Also the tear. That goddamn perfect tear that hits Chenyi' s face, pulls him out of his drunken stupor and makes him realize it's Aidi. Brilliant acting from both. There was definitely a lot of pressure on Dian Dian to get it perfect and he absolutely did, everything about it, the soft but rushed kisses, the light trembling...its devastating perfection. When they say acting is art, this is what they mean. Definitely also kudos to Nat of course but I want to give it to Louis mostly for taking such a difficult part on, shouldering the weight of the whole scene which made Aidi's decision that followed even heavier.

Going from all those complicated emotions beforehand though, the moment ChenYi kisses Aidi back, you can not only see it in the expression but also his body language where Aidi completely lets it all go (he literally sinks onto Chenyi). I think it as beautiful detail from Louis and of course the directors. How he let's go of his this burden he carries at last and completely gives into everything he has ever wanted. Followed with the way ChenYi switches their positions, it's a perfect way of showing that nothing but this moment matters anymore and that he literally puts himself into Chen Yi's care. Just a really neat little thing tbh. In Chen Bo Wen's words: "From the very first tear, I knew he could do it." So proud of DianDian and the whole crew for giving us such a perfect, complicated moment.
Been seeing too much negativity lately so new tag "game" time: Object show fans and artists, reblog this and talk about your favorite object show artists in the tags (and maybe what you like about their art)
people whining that natalie’s death was “shitty writing” makes me want to bang my head against the wall. like are you seriously shocked that the show about tragedy and murder has tragedy and murder in it. are you seriously shocked that the show about fucked up people has fucked up people in it.
i feel like youtube and similar medium form video content (by medium i’m talking those 10-20min videos that creators used to make) has really changed. i feel like the online niches have really changed in terms of the genres of videos now uploaded to the website. i know that obviously there’s my own bias of “whatever kinds of content i watch now” being constantly recommended to me but honestly. i miss when youtube was silly in a way that didn’t feel ….”formulaic youtube silly”. i feel like the current silly lighthearted videos on the platform carry this aura of “We Are Making A Silly Lighthearted Video For YouTube”. and that’s not to say old youtube wasn’t formulaic but there was a sense of sincerity that feels void now.
