#I was very scared to go to the dentist bc the first one was very focused on telling me i was hideous bc my teeth are crooked and stained #But this dentist was very nice and also he was genuinely fascinated by teeth which was interesting lol cuz I have weird teeth #He was only focused on the health of my teeth and helping me figure out how to take care of them #Because brushing hurts #The first dentist told me I had a disease of some kind and that my gums would be swollen and painful my whole life but that was a lie #Apparently all I needed was to be able to brush my teeth for more than a few days in a row and it stopped hurting #The new dentist gave me some book recs to help with habit forming im not sure if it'll help but I'll see #I have a zero alcohol mouthwash now and a non mint toothpaste so so far going well #The only issue is flossing #The floss gets stuck in my teeth cuz they're so tight together :( #I have to get a root canal on tueaday #I'm a little scared #He prescribed a Valium to help tho so hopefully it won't be bad
