Zephrit angst hours besties

Zephyr feels insecure I believe. Doesn’t completely understand why ifrit loves him or chose him and that’s absolutely a part of why he’s so standoffish, he doesn’t understand why he loves him of the rest of the ghouls. He pushes him away because he believes it’s best for them he doesn’t deserve the love he gives so why accept it? It’s self destructive, he doesn’t completely know how to stop. His desire for love but feelings and insecurities keep him away from it. To push and push till people leave so he can feel like he was correct, that he doesn’t truly deserve it.

But ifrit can tell what he’s doing, and insists on loving him anyways. He doesn’t know how to convince zephyr he’s his world and that he would do anything for him no matter what. So he stays anyways, stays though the attitudes, the breakdowns, stays when he tells him not to. It drives zephyr insane.

He doesn’t understand that ifrit doesn’t mind helping him out. Ifrit loves him and enjoys being able to be useful. Carrying him around and picking things up and getting him stuff on bad pain days are all absolutely no bother to him, it’s how he shows he loves him. He would tell zephyr that every single day if he had to. Wipe his angry tears away and insist he’s not a bother, he’s never been a bother.

Ifrit knows zephyr trusts him. He sees how vulnerable he gets with him. The cracks of the hard exterior coming down to let himself love ifrit back.

okay so @potsticker1234 brought the avatrice college major discussion to my attention and i wanna share my opinion because apparently i think differently about this than most other people and i’m unable to keep my mouth shut so let’s go

bea is very simple for me, canonically and in my hc she reads and does research constantly, and that girl isn’t reading romance novels or sci-fi, she reads philosophy and historical research

bea is gonna major in history, english or maybe philosophy and i have no doubt about this

now ava is a little more difficult, whether ava would go to college is a whole other discussion but in this conversation we’re assuming she does so let’s talk about her major, ava is so charismatic and she’s emotionally intelligent, sure she might be a bit of an ass sometimes but we’ve seen the growth and potential in eq she has in s2, she just gets people, especially bea, more importantly she wants to understand people and something she wants even more is to see and understand the world

ergo, ava’s makor should be anthropology, communications, humanities or psychology

i could also see her studying to be a teacher

now finally, and this might be controversial, i think ava wouldn’t survive even a day in a office or lab, as i said she has to be around people so i could also see her majoring in business so she could start her own business someday like a bar or cute coffeeshop, i saw her behind that bar in s2 interacting with the customers and i just think that’s where she belongs, at least in her 20s, if she were to major in business though she would hate every second of it
