never thought i’d see the day where i’d be hitting double digits for my lucathy idea posts tbh

this is more of a note to self, but i’d like to go back over my idea posts, clean em up, make it tidier and more coherent, maybe add more content to make it longer. idk when i’ll be doing that. maybe i’ll include a word count at the end of each post to show that i went back to edit all of it?

or maybe i’d pick one of the au ideas that’s really fucking long and flesh it out in a separate post and title it “Lucathy Ideas: Extended Edition” or something 😂

accidental sugar daddy acquisition -- Sugar Daddy Lucas AU

• i’m finally talking about my sugar daddy lucas au that i mentioned in post 9 of my lucathy ideas series and im ngl im surprised i never mentioned it before now???

• @lithium-15 and @hwang-lucas because i feel that these two are specifically interested in this au (i have another sugar daddy lucas au thats more nsfwyn, but i think i’ll save the nsfwyn au ideas for a later lucathy ideas post)

• i don’t remember the original prompt word for word, since i saw this otp idea several years ago and i dont really feel like scrolling through my otp idea tag on my inspo side blog (thats like,,, its like. at Least 3-4 years worth of posts i think???)

• tl;dr -- rich dude ends up becoming a broke pal’s anonymous benefactor thats like a gang leader or something. i think the premise of it was that the broke dude was a college student??? and they would eventually get their degree and meet the person that’s provided them financial stability.

• yes, its another rich lucas x broke athy. cause im a slut for that otp dynamic ngl

• idk if i want this to also be a single mom athy au??? and a crime boss lucas au

• actually yknow what fuck it lets say that athy’s a single mom (i’ll think of a different idea for crime boss lucas, though; its implied for this au, but i dont feel like going with that)

• if we wanna make it spicy we could say that lucas and athy had a one night stand and didn’t recognize each other or something. or maybe lucas recognized athy??? regardless, im not sure rn. im kinda leaning towards the fact that they didnt recognize each other

• so yeah. athy is a single parent, probably got pregnant while she was in college and couldnt bring herself to abort because she didnt want to be alone or something (similar to my lawyer athy + ons au -- she realized that she wanted to have a family)

• she’s a waitress at a coffee shop, owned by lily maybe? that stays open pretty late at night. hannah and ces are her coworkers, although they work mornings and afternoons

• helena and cabel are regulars, and lucas is somewhat of a regular who stops by for coffee at night

• im thinking that lucas would be an influential family with some shady dealings on the downlow (maybe? i don’t remember if the prompt had the rich pal be a rich and generous mob boss or something), and that he ends up more or less becoming the family heir to his grandmother’s business

• so he ends up being a regular at the cafe in the evenings and ends up befriending athy (begrudingly)

• she’s comfortable enough with him to talk about her babies (as usual, its gonna be the twins -- ari and eli from my other ideas/wips) and he’s just dumbfounded because he never expected her to be a single mother

• eventually he decides to anonymously help her out

• by buying the appartment property that she lives on

• and getting someone to act as the “landlord” and tell her that someone already paid for her rent, and that it’s something that the landlord is offering to all the single parent tenants (which. lucas decides why the fuck not, it’ll be less hassle for him, plus he’s stupid fucking rich)

• ok now i’m gonna go over the basic timeline that i have in mind:

• i like the idea that lucas and athy end up meeting at the cafe when she’s still pregnant. and that lucas just decides “fuck it i can afford to run a few businesses why tf not” and bought lily’s cafe, allowing lily to still run the business as she likes, and giving the staff higher pay and more benefits (and lily more or less has a positive view of lucas)

• spoilers: he totally bought the business after hearing that athy might need a second job after she gives birth to her babies cause like. babies are fucking expensive

• guess who also paid her hospital bills?

• if you guessed lucas, then you’d be correct

• so her babies are born, she’s got a pretty good pay, so she’s able to pay a babysitter to take care of the babies whenever she works.

• throughout their friendship, lucas will more or less be stuck wondering why the fuck he’s doing so much for athy, and at first it’s simply because he thought it was annoying to see her suffering so much just to try and make ends meet, and eventually its because “oh fuck its because i consider her to be an important friend”

• because even though he is attracted to her, he does consider her to be an important friend and all

• the feelings end up coming in later

• at one point, athy comments that while she wants to continue college and finish up her degree, she finds that saving money for her babies is more important

• and lucas is just “you do realize that im rich with a ton of money that doesnt really get used for much, right”

• and naturally athy’s a very stubborn person who, despite finding the offer to be very beneficial, is Very reluctant to take on his offer

• he more or less tells her that if she feels bad for taking advantage of this offer -- which she shouldnt since he wants to help her -- then his one request would be that she gets at least a degree in business (so that he can just hand the cafe over to her as a gift in the future if she wants it)

• so yeah. she ends up going to college

• in terms of the twin’s age, year 1: lucas provides her financial stability in terms of handling the hospital bills, her rent, and giving her better pay /// year 2: athy gets a babysitter for the twins and goes back to finish up college /// year 3: she gets her degree in business

• OH MY GOD WHAT IF

• WHAT IF LUCAS’S NIECE IS ATHY’S BABYSITTER

• EVEN MORE REASON FOR LUCAS TO INTERACT WITH ATHY MORE OFTEN

• like. she’s a high schooler. looking for a summer job maybe??? and lucas is just “i have a friend looking for a babysitter”

• his niece, after being introduced to athy via lucas, is 100% in the conspiracy mindset that lucas and athy are exes or something and that this is lowkey his way of introducing his kids to the family

• and i mean. if we’re going with the idea that lucathy had a ons in this au, then she’s Technically not wrong with that theory?

• anyways, when the babies are finally 3 y/o, i’m thinking that lucas more or less established a place in athy’s life as her benefactor and friend, enough that the twins know that he’s always around

• hell, he’d probably go out of his way to help her buy groceries at one point. maybe a while before she hires his niece as a babysitter???

• i want the babies to cling onto lucas and call him dad when they’re toddlers because they both just see him with black hair and red eyes and go “he looks like ari/eli!!!”

• note to self: ari and eli both have black hair, but ari is the only one with red eyes (could pass off as rose pink like diana’s tbh). its only in wmmap-verse that they both have blonde hair and blue eyes (unless they’re in disguise)

• note: lucas’s niece is 100% going to teach the lucathy kids a bunch of slang. deadass i Will have these twins shouting shit like “YEET” or something

• i think thats all i had in mind for this au???

where the hell would i be without you -- Soulmates AU

• im ngl ive been listening to dodie music again (specifically “Sick of Losing Soulmates” which Hurts)

• i have like. 7 Soulmate AUs. but for now i’m just gonna focus on 1 of the 7 ideas i have, which happens to be the one that im the most interested in

• name of your sworn enemy / name of your soulmate

• for lucas, it’s Aeternithas de Alger Obelia and Athanasia de Alger Obelia. and tbh? he’s pretty pissed off that he has 2 names from the goddamn obelia royal fam tbh

• aeternithas would 100% assume that lucas is his soulmate (he isnt). idk who would be his other name. honestly? who tf knows cause i sure dont

• i considered having the whole soulmarks thing fade by claude’s generation, hence why athy wouldnt have a name on her wrist anymore, but i decided against it

• so lucas would be her soulmate

• the problem is that idk who would be her sworn enemy

• at first, i considered it to be claude for her sworn enemy, which would later change after she almost died (so after lucas saves her, claude’s name ends up disappearing)

• which i decided against cause i mean. he doesn’t Actually hate her from what i could tell. he just hates the fact that diana died and is coping with it by pinning the blame onto athy

• maybe he would be the name on athy’s wrist until she turned 5 y/o, when she actually meets him and causes a divergence from the lp-verse

• like. in the lp novel, claude wasnt her sworn enemy. i’d say it was probably jennette? and that lp athy believed that she had the rare platonic soulmate. or maybe she had ezekiel’s name as her soulmate, but she firmly believed that he was her sworn enemy since he’s jennette’s fiance

• the main reason why athy would have different names, comparing lp with wmmap athy, is because wmmap athy has the knowledge of her previous life

• at least, thats how i justified it lmao

what remains to be seen -- Model AU

• kinda self-explanatory, really

• like c’mon. look at lucas and athy and tell me that they can’t be models in the modern world

• i kinda imagine that athy would be a movie actress and model. normally she ends up playing princess roles, since she ended up gaining a lot of fans after her role as Princess Athanasia in the Lovely Princess movie when she was a teenager, so much that people often refer to her as “princess” or “Athy” (mainly from the people that worked with her on the film)

• she’ll be Lee Ji Hye in this au, but i’m referring to her as Athy to make it less confusing for my normally sleep-deprived squirrel brain

• i will admit that at one point i was tempted to have this as another fake dating au, where lucas and athy have their picture taken together and ends up having a shit ton of shippers

• lucas and athy for sure meet at a photoshoot for the first time

swipe tap swipe tap -- Tinder + Modern AU

• this is basically that imagine your otp post where this girl’s at an airport, her flight was delayed, and she’s swiping through tinder, and there’s a guy that’s behind her who goes “ouch. hard no for that one?” and she turns around and sees the guy she just swiped no on

oh how my knees go weak to be the one -- Canon Compliant

• similarly to the 100 prompt challenge of mine, i’d like to do a prompt challenge but with kisses

• not gonna go too detailed into it, since this will probably end up becoming another nsfwyn idea of mine. cause while im thinking of innocent kisses like butterfly, cheek, or forehead kisses, there’s definitely suggestive prompts here waiting to be written, especially when you look at the list

• also it doesn’t really help that i deadass got the title of this au from The Hush Sound’s “The Boys Are Too Refined”, and in the lyrics, there’s a mention of “oh, how my knees go weak to be the one / she kicks and bucks” plus “and if the timing is right / to sneak off into the night / i’ll let myself be taken just for the thrill”

• i considered using a lyric from their other song molasses, but that song gives off more of a sad vibe while the boys are too refined is more suggestive

• so yeah. suffice to say this is gonna be my nsfwyn project

• i’ll have to compile a list of different types of kisses, but if anyone’s curious on it that i’ll gladly post the list of which kisses i definitely plan on writing (i’m aiming to write 20 different kisses)

working out the differences -- Gym / Workout AU

• based off on a gym/workout prompt list: “I don’t care what your personal trainer says, if you keep doing it like that, you’re going to fuck yourself up, here let me show you how it’s done.“

• one of the au ideas that i don’t feel like writing, but it’s one of the au’s that i like to imagine, especially since it sounds really in character for lucathy

• like deadass lucas just criticizing athy’s personal trainer for being an absolute dumbass, and he’s infuriatingly annoying but he’s also RIGHT and athy absolutely hates him

• but eventually she decides to hire him and it’s 100% not because of how hot he looks in his black workout shirt

a writer and a murderer walk into a bar together... -- Matchmaking AU

• i’ve been, admittedly, looking through my “imagine your otp” tag on my side blog, and one of the otp prompts is about a matchmaking service based on your search history, and the match up ends up being a writer and a serial killer

• if it wasn’t obvious based on my previous au ideas, i’m a huge fan of author athy

• im not too interested in writing death and all that, even if it’s for a murder comedy??? which is kind of ironic considering that i 100% wrote a murder mystery once when i was still in high school and was about to write a story involving detailed injuries and violence back in my college days, so this is just one of those ideas that’s vaguely in the back of my mind

This is for my current wip in a beatles modern au, tentatively titled “Please Don’t Be Long” :)

Chocolate Ganache: what made you start writing this wip? was it a trope? a vibe? a character?

Honestly i was just brainstorming ideas for what i could write in the beatles cause i Really wanted to write smth, and i had several ideas but i got really sucked into the idea of a personalized modern au and started playing around with a worldbuild. Then i got like, Really Into It fhsgkjdhg

I started making character refs and shit and writing down lots of ideas for individual fics in a series. However, i am,,, Very fresh to the beatles fandom and was not super confident in my characterizations, so i was tentative to start actually Writing anything before i really knew How To Write em.

But this fic PDBL in the series is set around the early-middle of my thing chronologically, and i was really inspired by “Circles” by SittingOnACornflake on ao3 (check it out if you havent it slaps so hard) and their concept of having George use multiple pronouns. I decided to steal this a little bit, and make this work dedicated to exploring George’s character specifically and his gender identity in my au.

I dunno, it just was really good to Start writing and to be able to start exploring their characters through george’s lens (which isnt as deep/well-rounded as i think i need to go to be able to write this whole series well but skjfhg its a good start!!!) and also, im just a little bit obsessed with george so starting with him is fun. Its a very self indulgent fic jsfgsd but im not mad about it

5) if you had to choose a favorite out of all of your multi chaptered stories, which would it be and why?

oooooh this is tough. I really like "a memory of younger days" because it helps me establish link as a person and focus mainly on him in the 'Before' era, whereas in "aftermath" the main focus is zelink as a dynamic and zelda's witchy woo in the 'After'. link, while an obviously central character and driving force in "aftermath", isn't exactly the "main" character despite being the prominent point of view. in the pre-calamity fic, im trying to give him all of the spotlight I can.

"that parting need not last forever (it's dangerous to go alone)" is an idea that I'm really proud of. I remember the morning I posted the fic I needed a title, looked up zelda quotes, and mashed two of 'em together, and when I looked at it I was like "woah. that has so much meaning and it's fucking COOL". and it is! This is the fic where I can make myself laugh with the hilarity of zelink's amnesia when the other two get too intense, and where I can get super deep when the other two get too happy.

I feel that the real answer to this question, though, is pretty obvious in that it's "aftermath". that fic is my baby and I've poured all of my brain cells and knowledge of the zelda lore into that monstrosity. I like to think my characterizations of everyone is pretty spot on, and everything down to the chapter titles has meaning, which is why im proudest of my titles for the zelda povs. ever notice how they start with princess zelda quotes and then change to another character's once they get introduced and start causing drama? deciding which quotes to pick from was SO much fun.

12) Who is your favorite character to write for? Why?

It's literally a tie between Fi or Ganondorf. are we surprised? no.

There's just something about Ganondorf that makes me go off in the dialogue department, like the best dialogue i think ive ever written. I love a good villain monologue, and because Link is a mute protagonist that's all we ever get from our resident Gerudo man, and it gives me the excuse to just shit on the "good" guys for like five pages straight.

Fi, on the other hand, makes me go batshit crazy when it comes to body language and physical tells. her whole vibe as this eldritch being that's been around for centuries but just wants to be loved is something so upsetting and honestly so pure. fi rights!

17) Post a line from a WIP that you're working on.

from a future "a memory of younger days" chapter:

"He sees flashes, moments, of babies crying for adults who never come, of little boys clad in green slaying demons, and of young, bloodied men begging for their dead mothers to hold them in the aftermath."

45) What spurs you on during the writing process?

the fact that I like what I'm doing despite how hard it is! writing makes me happy no matter how much I complain about hating it, and the added factor of posting it on something like ao3 and receiving heaps upon heaps of positive feedback, even if I personally feel like it's not my best or it's just plain bad, really helps to keep me motivated. at least someone else other than me is reading my stuff and likes it enough to keep coming back for more!

im definitely not ripping off my friend by making a list of au ideas i have no siree //gonna slap this under a readmore cause i. well i say a lot. all of the time. i tried so hard to format this Good but tumblr fucked me up i am so sorry

so first-off i know i already have one WIP AU (Auckland) on ao3 so i wont talk about That one cause like. spoilers. i actualyl have it like 80% created so its likely gonna truly get finished for once and i dont wanna ruin shit

the other one ive posted about is something me and ben (catgirlrepublic) have worked on together its not at all close to done or anything but it's. a fun little crossover. Between jdate and my fuckinuhm. Original characters story “Untitled Villains Project”. the sketches of the comic version ive started is actually my pinned post 👉👈 its like the first chunk of the story, i think half of part 1? yea.

Tldr john fucking Somehow is able t oget into contact with a certain curious scientist from another reality who’d just love to study the Soy Sauce, most certainly not for her own nefarious purposes

John and Dave meet up with the scientist, her name is Boss, and her lab assistant, Toxic, and after a bit of a preliminary Vibe Check where john determines her trustworthy (which Dave doesnt agree with,) the two agree to be taken to the world UVP is set in. from there they stay in Boss’s lab (big old fucking abandoned military lab). John and Toxic are fast friends due to mutual love-of-chaos. John n Dave get to fuckin, camp out on an air mattress.

The day after they arrive, the two get split up, not exactly intentionally; big plot points of UVP are liek. Fueled by Boss sending Toxic to go fetch her “research materials,” which are usually important artifacts

Fuckin side note i guess i have to explain my dumb bullshit: Boss’s, uh, field of expertise so to speak is actually fckin, basically the scientific study of magic and superpowers n shit like that. This shit’s all real in that world. Toxic’s got fuckin superpowers, so do 4 other main characters, whatever. It’s got a bit to do with spirituality, iss Boss’s hypothesis. So she has Toxic fetch important artifacts that might have “energies” to them. The thing is actually way more fuckin complictated than that, this is just Boss’s initial hypothesis.

Motherfucking anyways. So Boss gives Toxic a job to do, and John get excited about how Cool that sounds, and ends up going with Toxic, leaving Boss and Dave alone. Neither is thrilled about this. But Dave and Boss get to have a bit of conversation (while Toxic and John are off bonding and having a good time) and come to a… mutual grudging understanding of some kind. They still dont like each other though lmao

Theres gonna be deeper shit going on but we havent sorted it out yet/tbh havent like Written For It in a while but i still like thinking about it a lot lol

Also pretty sure our endgame is john and dave steal toxic and bring them back with em lmao boss is kind of not nice and toxic would most certainly be better off in Undisclosed. Actually theyd fucking love it. Theyd become a local cryptid im sure. Undisclosed’s mothman is a teleporting spike baby.

I have. Another crossover AU that i might. Post something about for halloween? Maybe? If i have it finished?

Crosses over into, you guessed it, another one of my original-character projects. God, am i vain or something?

I promise this is just because i think blue and dave should get to team up to beat up some monsters

Quick briefing on my fuckinuh. Original character story, this one doesnt have a name (yet? Idk lol my work never actually goes anywhere sso who gives a shit). It centers around two grim reapers, Red (26, bi woman) and Blue (22, aroace agender asshole). In this reality or whatever, grim reapers function kind of like low-level office workers. They get told who’s going to die + when by some middle-management types, and upper management only involve themselves when punishment needs to be doled out. These Higher-Ups can be seen as analogous to Korrok; they’re decidedly not human, never were, and fucking terrifyingly powerful. Additionally, grim reapers are sort of .. designed to be “background noise” people. In reality theyre supernatural beings and, uh, look Real Fuckin Weird (the whole deal has a neon aesthetic im terrible at drawing uwu) but most humans just perceive them like extras in a movie. A body’s there but the camera’s not focused on it.

To the narrative: the shit starts when Red n Blue get relocated to Undisclosed. Relocation is something that just happens every now and then to reapers; they usually work in teams, but they get split up into different cities to avoid any strong bonds forming (a counter-union strategy from the Higher-Ups).

Red, Blue, John and Dave end up running into each other for the first time in a McDonalds where John n Dave are getting some 4am “hey, we just survived another horrific monster fight” celebration burgers. John and Dave are the only two people who can see how… strange Red and Blue are. Nobody else notices.

John unintentionally pisses Blue off, leading to Blue whacking him upside the head with a dildo bat. They all four get kicked out of McDonald’s. Dave and Red both are less than thrilled

Blue and John end up resolving their differences, somehow. Red and Dave briefly bond over their dumbass best friends being, well, dumbasses. They all part ways amicably.

somehow-or-other (idk yet) they end up running into each other a few more times, and eventually john invites them over to his place, and the four (plus Amy now!) get to know each other a little better

while there, Blue gets a text about some guy who's gonna die and John offers to drive them to where that's gonna go down. they take him up on the offer and get to have a bit of one-on-one conversation

after that ordeal though Blue has had Enough of people and bails, leaving John to head home alone

theres a sort of mirror-development going on with the five of em. Red, John, and Amy would all like everyone to get along, though theyre a bit tentative about it (John moreso than the other two, actually, jsut cause. well Red n Blue could still be Sauce Monsters). Dave and Blue on the other hand do Not like people enough for this shit, and Dave's not unconvinced theyre Sauce Monsters. he will not trust them until proven he should

the story's kinda nebulous but i got an idea for some Shit going down that involves both Sauce Monsters and also the Higher-Ups to have some fuckin absolute chaos go down.

Everybody is transgender. Everyone

Ive actually workshopped this one both with ben (catgirlrepublic) and ghost (ghost-wannabe) lmao its a fun lil concept ive had from the get-go cause i mean. What’s an internet tran gonna do other than hit all their favourite media with the Everyone’s Trans beam

Dave transitioned post-high school and faked his death for it. People go missing in Undisclosed all the damned time, after all. He moved to the next city over, transitioned fully, then came back as a completely new man. Yes i know this doesnt exactly fit with the “everyone knows David from high school” thing alright, hush.

Anytime anyone brings up John’s old best friend (pre-transition Dave) John throws an entire fit like an overdramatic grieving widow. Full-on sobbing “why would you bring her up?! I miss her so much—” to the point that people just stop bringing up because Jesus Christ That Sure Is Uncomfortable KJHGFDS.

This is a scheme he and Dave came up with prior to Dave leaving, though Dave hadnt exactly anticipated John putting on this much of a performance about it— but it’s stopped Dave from ever having tto hear his deadname again, so hey.

Amy transitioned sometime in middle school/early high school. Her family was super supportive and loved her a ton and most people just know her as Amy. she was super shy her whole life really so. Yeah. people just dont think to bring it up lmao also i Feel Like big jim would absolutely wallop anyone who gave her trouble of any kind

John’s nonbinary (genderfluid specifically) and not exactly Interested in transitioning ? like hes fine with how he is. mostly.

he came out to Dave in high school but hes not out to anyone else exactly. Maybe his bandmates. Probably any other trans person in Undisclosed knows, too, cause theyre safe to tell lmao. Johns an absolute troublemaker, Of Course. Hes wanted in several towns for absolutely stupid shit. Hes a loner who shows up, causes chaos, gets drunk, does some drugs, runs away if people get too mad at him

He definitely had the same kind of deal with the soy sauce as in canon— he was at some kind of party, somebody offered it, he took it cause why the fuck wouldnt he, now he can see monsters and shit

Hes kind of a mooch also. Like. dont let him stay in your barn man he’ll never fucking leave and drink all your booze.

He runs into Dave when they happen to just, cross paths in the same town. the bullshit John stirs up ends up involving Dave in a way that makes it seem like it's his fault too, and they both get run out of town

after that he just tags along after Dave. hes decided this guy's Cool he wants to stick around. Dave is pissed at first, but not enough to shoot him or anything, and eventually, John grows on him

Dave

Dave also is a loner but unlike John hes simply so fucking awkward and bad with people. He doesnt feel like he belongs anywhere so he just travels

He’s the stereotypical Lone Ranger tbh. He wanders from town to town, solving their problems, though hed deny its out of any moral obligation (it kinda is, a little bit, tbh. He does like feeling useful). He shows up, fixes things, leaves. He's kind of a legend but most people think he's hiding something dark. other people jsut know him as that guy who farted real loud in the middle of the saloon and promptly skipped town out of sheer embarrassment. you know how it goes with Dave

He ends up involved with the Soy Sauce when a snake (not Actually a snake,) bites him. The snake’s more like the wig-monsters, really. Anyway, it injects him with the soy sauce, he fucking trips balls in the middle of the desert, he can see monsters now

He runs into John and shit goes tits-up, as said, but they become traveling buddies after that. he'd never say so, but he's glad for the company, actually. it's nice. hes not used to companionship but he feels a strange kind of easiness hanging out with John....

not sure how the Monster Dave concept will like fit in to this reality but like. trust me i want it in here. I'll Figure It Out.

Amy

Amy’s been living in a town John and Dave end up passing through and she is very curious about these two new Handsome Strangers who claim to fight monsters and just kinda. Persistently tags along til they let her join for real

Her family’s all dead, unfortunately, just like in canon, and she’s been living alone for a few years before meeting John n Dave. she had nothing left in that town to stay for, she'd been fantasizing about escaping on wild adventures for a long time and this felt a little like a dream come true. (Dave still gives her a spiel about how Difficult it is, but really, her fantasies were pretty grounded-in-reality already. i jsut think thats how she is, yknow?)

Shes the first person to react to the whole “we see monsters” shit with a kind of “oh, okay. neat” kind of response lmao

John and Dave fix whatever the fuck is up with her town (maybe that’s where the Korrok shit can fit, who knows) and Amy ends up being integral to that. After, she insists they take her with them because “they need her now” and Dave just cant really say no. John too is very much "the more the merrier!" and hes actually glad to have another person along he loves people lmao

At the start she has long hair but after she joins them she chops it short with a knife for convenience

And all the fluff and angst potential you've set up with the way the bond works? *chefs kiss.* like, Tim slowly starting to open himself up to the others, but anytime he starts to feel even a smidge of annoyance or anger or apathy (or really any negative emotion) through the bond he immediately closes his side off, because maybe this is the time they realize they've made a mistake and don't want him. 1/

Holy shit, babe. Not only are you so kind to talk about that wip, and being so nice about the effort and strain I put into these works, but then you just hand me this progression that is so fucking beautiful and painful to think about.

Jason’s bad night makes him shutter closed on instinct, and that makes the Red Hood stop in his tracks, turn on his heels ‘cause the fuck was ‘at? Damian gets a dress down from Father and takes it out on them later on, sneering insults to cover up his own hurt, and it takes literally a moment for Tim to close up, get distant and short. Dick sighs when Tim is being, well Tim, and doesn’t get why the room is suddenly empty and the Bond cold.

The awful thing is how long it takes them to figure it out.

Six months into the process of bringing Tim back, and Damian finds the off radar safe house by pinging off Tim’s tech, gently paces inside. He finds the duffle with the contingency plans, the burner phone, the raw cash. An obvious contingency, one among the many they’ll eventually find.

And he lifts their soulmate up with a smile on his face, puts their Timmy inta bed, covers ‘im up all snug, can’t help but kiss his nose before he closes the door.

But Timmy’s system is still up n’ runnin’ so Jay brings up some info, just ta see what cases he might be working, if they could maybe weasel their way inta a few ta get closer to him.

He clicks a spreadsheet, thinks it’s just like their soulmate to keep a list of what he’s working.

The list of addresses, the notes, the ways he can still be in on crime fighting without catching the Bat’s attention.

And babe is it painful to watch, to feel him flinch, turn away, to know he’s running, to know he’s planning for the day they realize they’re better off.

Things might finally start changing, start easing, when Tim finally lets the three of them manhandle him to be in the center after hours, hours, of mind-blowing, intimate, intense sex, when his limbs are jelly, and he can barely remember his own name. When he can’t remember ever being so exposed, when every inch of his body was touched, tasted, all his scars worshiped, words whispered against all of him at how beautiful he is, how much they need him, want him, can’t live without him, how they broke him down to his most naked and built him back up again.

Things start changing when he sleeps through the night between all of them, wrapped up in limbs, can’t untangle himself in the morning without sleepy kisses all over his everything.

Things start changing when he gets calls mid-week to check-up on how he’s doing, which take-down the Titans are going to be in on this week.

Things start changing when he gets a frustrated call from an exhausted Damian, working a case he can’t figure out, and Beloved, please. And he’s helpless to do anything but listen to the details, to fire up a video link in the Cave so he can watch Dami, text Dick on the low about making their youngest soulmate go to sleep (while he helps and works some angles to give a fresh avenue for Dami to go down when he wakes up).

Things start changing when he can feel the nostalgic fondness mixed with something more, something deeper that makes his heart skip a beat. When he can feel the stirring of lust, of anticipation, an itch to get clothes off. When he gets warring frustration and lust, a huffy tt that doesn’t sound angry at all.

Or well, babe, that’s the way it could end if Tim gives them a chance.

Mod post! A big thank you for the welcome back from so many of you that stuck by that?? three?? or so?? year hiatus! I started braeburn during my final years of uni so that quickly took over ( ive since graduated finally ). The last few recent posts were to get things rollin’ again and to test waters. Seems ya’ll are still game for braeburn so Im happy to start workin’ on the plot comic coming in next post!

But to keep consistency the askbox will be closed until planned intermissions! Some plot blogs out there have a good idea of opening ‘em on the weekends or during intermissions! Ill answer casual questions and plot related asks ic then!

Id also?? like to start a patreon or get my ko-fi going cause I know if I can get just enough daily I can cut back my outrageous work schedule so I can update more then once or twice a week without worrying about groceries or net bills! For reasons I felt like making a Fancy Ass murder mystery story, with you know, hella complex secret storylines and everyone having drama and shit, and one person died but the more the story goes the less people care about who did the murder and the more they want tHE JUICY DETAILs. X and Y had an afFAIR you say!!! well that’s thousands time more interesting than that murder that happened, who cares about the culprit its not like any of us are going anywhere anyway! tell me more about the marital issues!

The ultimate Vibes are Clue (the game, ya kno, it had a movie too, and that movie was shot with three different endings -fun fact- so that movie theatres could play one alternatively that way people wouldnt get spoiled or even if they did they would not get the ending they were spoiled or even if all three were spoiled you couldnt know which ending you were getting anyway, big dick move, cause its an old movie and film is expensive, also that movie stupid and campy, ALSO I ONLY LEARNED MAKING THIS AU THAT IN ENGLISH THE GAME’S CALLED “CLUE” wE CALL IT CLUEDO therefore my wip playlist is called cluedo. because. fuck it.)(i just have an emotional attachment to that game i even had a cd rom video game version and it was the spookiest shit for a 6 years old, trust me, i played it so much tho i didnt even understand the rULES i was just making scenarios like gathering the characters in rooms n making conversations outloud cause honestly the banter is the best part of a murder mystery) ANYWAY that sure is a whole paragraph of tangent.

BUT YE the inspo from the Clue game. you can tell it from the Colours obviously, everyone’s colour codded.(even everyone’s name is colours as well you’ll see it’s real dang fancy! im just remaking that game but with 2932020 characters and more behind the scenes drama and also for gay people.)

So BASIC PLOT!

Sir Belyy, the dude in white, is The Rich Powerful Respected Fancy Boss, and he throws a Fancy Reception Party with his closest friends and associates to celebrate the opening of a new branch of his business. All the lads gather in his wonderful little very isolated mansion in the middle of nowhere, like ok he got a death wish or something or he’s very trusting of his business partners, but not a good move, cause in the middle of the reception, as A Phat Storm Starts (for plot convenience, we going with a campy vibe if you couldnt tell), his body is found, it’s awful, there’s a killer on the loose! All the guests gather, and attempt to maybe contact the authorities, to not avail, since The Storm ya know, phone lines are Broken my dude. Its clear that the culprit is among them, since no one could have entered the house, or left it (cuz once again, ThE sTORm). And then it’s all about interrogating each other, distrust, alliances and betrayal, revealing one’s deepest secrets when they form an alibi and revealing someone else’s deepest secret for they could be a motive! Meanwhile there’s a dead body in the mansion just chillin there.

So as I mentioned, I changed everyone’s name to be colour related (or ya know, food or flowers of that colour cause sometimes a colour in a language would not work as a name given the way names work in that culture all that jazz) which is the trippiest thing cause tHATS NOT YALLS USUAL NAMES but its fun (also changed so many ages hgfhs it was a trip)(still no one’s really old i guess i got boomerphobia). The “Cast” is clearly the most important part, and if ur a True “My OCs” Connaisseur (hdfghd the most useful skill to have, knowing *MY* Charactersdshgd) you may have recognised some faces and can already read some vibes and predict who will be progressing the plot and who will be yelling at people throwing accusations ghdfgd.

Sir BELYY (the one who dIEs lmao)

Intimidating, powerful, composed, wealthy, carries the name of a family who has generations of control to it’s reputation, he’s The Man that hoes who believe in the economy wishes they were. As in, the “self made” man who only just happened to benefit from having a wealthy background to uplift his plans. In his youth, he wanted to prove his worth, seperated himself from his father, started a business, that business became big, then got attached to the family’s business, bam back to square one but with Reputation now. There seemed to be VERY big tension between him and The Father, some speculate it had to do with his unknown mother, and some family drama there, and it never got resolved as old man Belyy died quite young (the jUICY speculations are that current sir Belyy mURDEREd old man sir Belyy, fucked up if true!). People love him though in general, as he has that reputation of “Cold Lad With a Gold Heart” aka he takes people under his wings, donates, doesnt treat his employees like the absolute worst garbage etc... you know, he’s rich and a half decent person, so obviously he’s an angel on earth. But does it matter though, he’s dead! that’s the concept of the story!

Mr.GRAY (the grey guest)(who could have guessed from the name)

He’s one of Sir Belyy’s oldest employees, and benefits from a high rank in the company. But, sadly for him, he’s been stagnating lately, as newer, youngest employees seem to have Belyy’s favours, and are his prefered associates for important tasks and positions. Therefore he has Some Bitterness, Some Salt, Some Distaste, some unbriddled but professionally muted hatred for Specific people in the company. He can be an antagonistic figure, but the amount of time he spent in Belyy’s circle grants him an immense quantity of information about the man, but mostly, about his business. Anything about the company’s history, dealings, operations, he’s aware of, either having been told of them, or having snooped around to obtain, immune to being questioned due to his legitimacy in the company.

Mr.LIM (the green guest)

Remember when it was said that Gray had beef with some employees cause they were younger and rose to high ranks faster than him and became Belyy’s favourite over him? Yeah well here comes the one he hates the most for that (ofc he’s belyys fave cuz he’s Mine <3) Our lad caught Belyy’s attention for his Exploits in like, em fancy high school tournaments of smart people, it’s a thing its ridiculous, making kids compete on Smart stuff for the pride of their schools n shit, well homie Lim got clout when doing that, and Belyy was extremely interested cause that kid’s main thing was how “this young lad got mad strategic skills tf are u a war general or smth how fancy”, and that’s a coveted skill for ruthless business. So as soon as the kid is an adult, bam, join the company my dude. And because he’s just that Cool n Sexy ofc he met the expectations Belyy had, and old man Belyy got attached cuz it do be such a young lad, a kid, mentally i am adopting. That’s how you get a youngas employee becoming the right hand man of one the phatest CEO in a few years, and even make your way into being a Good Lad on top of a business partner. And that’s how you get Gray to hate your ass too. Now though, fine lad with mad strategic skills, rising to power that fast, and even infiltrating Belyy’s private life? If I were Gray I’d call suspicion there’s surely some shady stuff going no way we’re just dealing with a nice fella who just happens to work good and be friendly to the boss right?

Herra MUSTA (the black “guest”)

Belyy’s newest butler, assistant, house keeper, he multitasks. His family has been tied to Belyy’s for generations, fullfilling roles of help, but also of confidents. He’s been the head butler since only a short time, after his mother passed, and as such is still “in training” you could say, despite having served the family his whole life. There are rumours going around that the contract tying his family to the Belyys may end on his generation and need to be resigned. He known the manor by heart, and carries all keys to any locked room (and mostly, The Master Key, cause in an old house, some doors may be locked beyond all still existing keys). He also knows secrets of the family that no one else knows, but good luck getting em out of him, he’s under contract not to divulge em bro.

Mr. HASSEL (the brown guest)

Belyy’s childhood friend. They grew up together, pictured their dreams together, sworn to flourish together, worked together when starting the company, and then Hassel felt he should create his own thing instead of depending on his friend’s existing wealth, and while Belyy’s business went wild, his never took off. They still stayed very close, despite the massive difference in wealth. Belyy considers him his closest friend, the one person he can trust (fucked if hassel did the murder lemme tell u). So of course, he’s still always invited to the Prestigious meet ups where’s he’s free to feel uncomfortably out of place amongst all the rich and powerful people that he could have been a part of had he had a tiny bit of luck and a small loan from a wealthy relative...People LOVE saying he’s still hanging out with Belyy so much to leech off his wealth, cause of course they do! His bestie status means he has a whole different brand of information of Belyy than his butler does, the Most Intimate Stuff, the Childhood Stuff. The Juicy stuff ya kno...But Bro Code, its all secrets...

Sir RUZH (the red “guest”)

Deep dive into Belyy’s personnal history, the man has many employees working at his house keeping it working, clean, ya know the vibe. They live on the premice, one has a kid who’s just a Joy to be around, all the employees just vibe with that lad, he’s just a born socialite you know? Belyy gets to meet the kid, and also hella vibes with him. And because human are influenced by their feelings, he gives the kid’s mum a bit of a preferencial treatment, in the tasks she fullfils and all, til he gives her an important-as mission, and then there’s an accident n mama dies, and now Belyy got guilt and there’s this kid who just Vibes. So naturally the move is to take the kid in, and play on how his vibes are just so clean, and raise him to be the Perfect Entertainer for guests, bam, its soft power propaganda, if everyone loves your now son’s vibes, they associate them with you too. And also that’s kind of a clean rep, the selfless man who adopted his employee’s son to not have him fall to the streets, how heartwarming. Not at all traumatising for the kid too I bet! But anyway now the lad is just the most charming young adult, mission accomplished. He’s always present at any reception, ready to work his people-pleasing magic, and then going back to a gigantic empty manor to wait for the next and curate the perfect vibes to meet the expectations of dad. On the plus side, he knows everyone, and those who don’t know him cannot wAIT to, he’s just got that aura ya know. People skills for miles, and the insider knowledge that comes with being the son of the CEO, all this hidden behind the personna of the fresh innocent bashful party lad.

Dr.FEN (the pink guest)

Do not get mistaken by the title, he’s no doc, he will not diagnose you with anything, he just studied long enough to get the sexy title. Study in what? Haha. Nothing shady. Just toxicology. He’s a world reknown poison expert basically, that’s his main thing. Oh but don’t worry, of course studying substances that may kill people is only for finding out how to cure them from it of course. What brings him in this circle? Simple, Belyy may or may not have started to suffer some weird illness that no doctor has been able to find the source, let alone cure, of. Him and Dr.Fen had met previously on some event, cause some rich man also love flexing how smart they are and attending sciencey shit, and he was contacted as sort of a shot in the dark. The lad does know how to treat some things, maybe he can treat The Mysterious Unwellness, since no traditional doctor was able to. He knows science, he’s trustworthy, bam, you’re hired to work on My Case Exclusively. Thanks to this, Dr.Fen has access to the whole health history of Belyy and his family, to many mANY dangerous substances, and also has The Respect of the hoes at the party. He HAS a doctorate after all. Epitome of knowledge. And he’s a kind to people and he wears pink like dang how can you nOT pour your wHOLE trust in him.

Sir MOREVITCH (the blue guest)

Youngest son of an affluent family, who used to be close the the Belyys. The two families fell slightly appart after the death of the previous head of the family on the Belyy side, as they do nOT vibe with the current one (well current, til the first night of the story ig). But, unbeknownst to all, one strong link had been kept, between the youngest of the Morevitch, who dislikes his family and wishes to emancipate himself from them while also assuring his depart will not throw him basically in the streets, and our beloved Sir Belyy, who also dislikes the Morevitches but loves to see the rebellious energy of the young one (and ya know, my enemy’s enemy’s my friend or however you say that). So Belyy’s basically offering tips and helping Morevitch plant himself safely out of his family’s grasp, but it’s all taking quite some time isn’t it, slow and steady is fine until your parents try to arrange a wedding to secure more political power, and suddenly it is all quite urgent that you escape that situation because No Thank You Parents I Do Not Want A Wife I’m Too Young And Also Huh <3 Stuff You Won’t Like Hearing For Sure <3. The people who know they’re working together also know that it’s a big point of argument between them, the difference in vision between “you have to go slow and steady to be safe” and “I have very limited time to get to that safety anyway so I gotta risk it” “hell no you cant i can’t follow through if we’re going that quick that’ll put me at risk and you’re family’s gonna send gunmen to take me down”. A mess, it’d be much quicker to just obtain a few million bucks out of nowhere and bolt for sure...

Mr.GANG (the orange guest)

Morevitch’s trusted assistant. He hears the concerns, he helps the secret businesses, he lies to the parents about the whereabouts, and mostly, he’s basically a budget spy. The lad got that talent where people just don’t notice him popping behind them and catching all their dirty laundry as they confess it to someone they trust, and he always manages to break into places, get the intel he was looking for, and escape, putting everything back into place as if no one was ever there (wonder where he got all those skills from damn!). But what he’s even better at is being sneaky not only to benefit his boss, but himself as well <3. If he can catch all the info in the world, go any places, nothing’s stopping him from playing double agent and also going behind Morevitch’s back. After all the assistant life isn’t the most glamourous and rewarding, who can blame him from going and using his talents to build his own little exit route, right? Everybody sort of knows he cannot be trusted, but also no one managed to really incriminate or stop him, and as much as he has tea on many people, no has it on him, but bet once found that would be heeeella juicy.

M.MOUTARDE (the yellow guest)(this one is straight up the name of the yellow player in the french edition of clue too when i say its my main vibe)

Moutarde was an influential celebrity. He had a big break acting in a movie that the whole country stanned so hard they basically turned the script into their national anthem (they would have if it was a true democracy where the people really decide), he was so handsome and elegant, everyone’s dream husband. And then the fame fiddled out because it’s how fame is, one moment you’re the sexiest dish on the table and the next someone brings in dessert and baam, its all about that fresh cake, and no one pays any mind to your delightful aroma anymore, you’ve gone cold, they had a bite, their interest is somewhere else. Belyy really admires his work though, and mostly finds his image fits with the brand of his company, therefore the two are working on a collaboration to make Moutarde a representative. This WOULD boost Moutarde’s reputation, for his ads would be displayed on every imaginable surface of the country, and it would also benefit the company cause being represented by thAT sexy motherfucker? clearly that’s a deal. The freshness of the partnership means Moutarde is a newcomer in the guests, a fresh face, with no reputation, no relationships, no unfair biases against him. He’s just the new handsome charismatic lad with a squeaky clean image. Emphasis on “image”. After all, no one really knows anything of his background, right?

Kun.LAWENDER (the purple guest)

Private investigator, very useful to be around at a party it’s almost like it was expected there’d be a body to investigate, he’s a very close associate of Belyy, as there’s nothing more important to business than investigating the rivals and finding dirt on them to make them fall through infamy. He’s not exactly the PI who goes look for justice to be served, he’s just here for cash bro. He’s got intel on everyone, and will only let it out if offered the right thing in return (money, or sometimes other pieces of very secret intel, trade is good). Wouldn’t advise letting him and Gang team up tbh but they probably wouldnt, as Lawender is really more of a lone wolf player, going on his own for himself. The one thing that negates his usefulness as a PI on an accidental crime of scene is that even if he knew the whole truth of the event he would not spit it out unless he benefitted from saying it. He sure is a polarising lad, but at the same time, an untouchable one, he’s too knowledgeable to be taken down. Rather than sneaky, he’s extremely observant, noticing the tiniest details and engraving them in his memory, ready to be linked up to other details to deduct the big picture. He’s the upfront tea gathered basically (as opposed to Gang’s shadow tea gathering if you will, they are similar forces but using opposite methods)(also one of em got a licence n the other does not hAH).

Now the secrets, all of em have them. One of em at least got the secret of having KILLED Belyy that’s that. But that’s to be kept for later (for if i ever use this story for more than daydream material gfhjgh) bet you can imagine what some of em may be just out of Knowing what i do, from having seen the characters in other contexts, or just because you’re a genius and reading the character profiles immediatly lit up the bulbs in your head forming the perfect theory, props to you, mad genius.

Honestly my thoughts are just how lit of a game that would be, you get to pick one hoe (maybe sum are locked til u find their secrets for juicy purposes) and you do your invetigation using your character’s perks and disadvantages, and maybe there could even be Multiple scenarios and outcomes, to spice it up, give replay value, i just think it’d be a game id spend hours on. tryin to get the spicy details of everyone’s life. walking around n digging through a rich man’s stuff, witnessing the drAMA of people fighting cause they’re locked in with a murderer and that’s stressful ngl. That or a long ass show @ netflix wanna give me a show maybe? give me hella budget we’re making it animated cause im too cultured for live action.

whatever i make of it though, i hope i can make this story Flourish, just so that i can lay down all those secret backstories i’ve written. i want the satisfaction of throwing out the craziest secret drama between character n seeing peeps loose their minds, it just is a tasty experience.

also i gotta say, i plug the hell out of Clue for an inspo but when i was building the basics of the story my mind immediatly went “oH MY GOD THE VIBES,, THE BACKSTABBING AND tEAMING UP and all,,, its The Genius, that one tv show where peeps have to do the wildest games that require strategy n they’re in that fancy set that looks like a rich ppl mansion oh god the vibes” so yeah, i rewatched the whole first two seasons cause they’re my faves and that had an impact if only minimal in the aesthetic.

Anyway hope that quick presentation gave you a lil taste of the story, and maybe,,,, got you curious,,, craving to learn more like you never did before (im exaggerating the only real question we all got is just “so who’s fuckin with whom then how many of yall secretly dating” this the real deal)
