I always feel so fucking fat. I feel the rolls of my stomach when I sit down, stretch marks on my thighs, and double chin. Some days I feel beautiful while others I just want to starve myself. Some days I really wish I could just starve myself but I always shake when I don't eat and I'm so fat that I can't stay away from food. I can't figure out how other women have flat stomachs or how to get one. My worth shouldn't be in my size. I'm too smart for that, but I still don't know that. I'm so fucking tired from work and I don't want to workout, but I feel like im one workout away from not fitting my pants again. I'm one workout away from being less attractive.

if youre in an extreme caloric deficit PLEASE drink a protein shake, you NEED to have protein to keep your brain and muscles functioning and 1 scoop is 100-150 cal if youre drinking it with just water. anywhere from 12-28g of protein too.

i use them as a meal replacement and they keep me full for low calories, because protein keeps you full for much longer. even if you had 3 a day you wouldn’t be going over 500cal but PLEASE EAT/DRINK PROTEIN ITS IMPORTANT IF YOURE FUCKING UP YOUR BODY ENOUGH

i was looking thru the tags of the elf practice poll and this

made me so curious and i couldnt figure out what it meant by googling it so if you feel like explaining it you can but MORE IMPORTANTLY your art is gorgeous ! i cant imagine the effort skill and attention to detail that takes, would you be ok with me printing a couple out at the library and using them in my notebook or on the covers? not for money or anything its basically just a non-fancy bullet journal i use to try and keep myself in line lol. even if not thanks and i hope you have a great day :)

answering the second part first, yes of course use my art as decoration for covers and stuff, i love it when people think my art is that good.

long answer to part 1:

so this isn't really a thing in ascii art (i.e i haven't seen any discusssions on how different sizes lead to different ratios of black [black ground color] and white [foreground color]), but for the double line glyph:

this is the 18x18 ones (with a red overlay here other wise things can get mis allined in editing)

this is the 12x12 ones the thing is that the amount of white vs amount of black in these double line tiles i noteate as 2x + 3y = z. (this is where i would put a read more but i can't seem to find it on the editor)

where the 2x is the blue in this image, and 3y is the red. in 12x12, this works out to be (2*3) + (3*2) = 12. while this does make the amount of red vs blue to be equal, i find it less pleasing then

the 18x18 one, where its (2*3) + (3*4) = 18. this at least to my eye lets it be way more visable what color the (brighter red) lines are. while there are code page 437 for every title size between 8 and 20, i have my own glyph sheet (this is the 12x12 one and the boxes are basicly space for explation if i have new glyph ideas).

and so all the little details of all of the glyphs had to be chagned by hand. also the way rexpaint (programe i use for this) works it refences the glyphs by location so if i was to swap locations of two glyphs it would mess around with images

Below is an English language translation of this particular listing’s comprehensive FAQ (written by seller):

FAQ

When and where did you buy these? I got them in 1996 at the music instruments store in Kanazawa that Nakata Yasutaka often frequented. These were made during his amateur era when he was a high school student. (They don’t include the songs he won the Yamaha contest with in 1997.) He sold these through the store’s consignment service.

Why are you selling them now? Because I was told there’s no issue with the rights to sell them.

What condition are they in? Pretty bad; the songs are so good that I’ve worn them out by listening to them so much. There’s some skipping in a few places.

What genre are these? Stylish-sounding house and techno music. It’s basically all instrumental club tracks. (Jungle and stuff like Latin and minimal techno, songs with a lot of guitar tones, stylish disco. Sort of like a prologue to CAPSULE’s first songs.)

What do you think of it? “This is stylish and freakin’ awesome!” It’s entirely different from his early work, CAPSULE’s mid-to-recent output, and even his solo and current productions for other artists. It’s dance floor-conscientious, fashionable house music that leaves a strong impression. Since the time these were made he’s proven to be an amazing talent and his music is perfect. It’s incredible that a high school student was able to create things like this using the kind of equipment they had back then.

Are there any tracks with vocals? No, but there is a song with samples of a baseball announcer and a female voice looped throughout (not Koshijima Toshiko; please consider these to be Nakata Yasutaka’s solo works).

Who signed these? The man himself. I ran into him at a lounge ten years ago after CAPSULE’s show in Kanazawa and he happily signed these for me. (He was grinning ear-to-ear.)

What are the usage rights? I consulted a lawyer and a person who works in intellectual property management and was told, “The individual sold these himself on consignment, so reselling these works is the same as reselling any ordinary CD.”

Is there a third tape? None that I’m aware of.

Why is the third picture in the listing blurred out partially? Nakata Yasutaka, who was a youth back then, wrote his thoughts on the then-current J-pop scene. It’s a short essay where he expresses his doubts about the status quo at the time and reveals fiery emotions he was hiding in his heart.

How many songs are included? Tape #1 has four tracks, tape #2 has six.

This is expensive! I priced these based on Perfume’s “Chocolate Disco” vinyl records (which were limited to 100 copies and resold ten years ago at 100,000 yen apiece), the fact that the music contained on these tapes is unlikely to be reprinted in the future, and the rarity of copies of these tapes. Please understand my reasoning.

Translator’s Note

At the time I’m writing this, the asking price for both these tapes is 1.3 million yen, or approximately $9,000 USD (depending on conversion rates). Given that two of CAPSULE’s pre-Yamaha demo tapes resold for ~$300 USD in 2013 and a copy of Nakata’s TSM school project Sync⇔Sync sold for $200 USD (all of these in good to near-mint condition), the price point for the YASUTAKA demo tapes is nothing short of absurd. I’m not sure why the seller is looking to make a big payday off some cassette tapes that are over 20 years old and deteriorating (damn analog media!), but there is no way for me to contact them and discuss the matter.
