How have you been doing?

I have this thing that's been pestering me for a while now. A lot of NH defenders/shippers swear on their life that there are strong parallels between her and Kushina and it's a hill these people are willing to die on.

They love to cite examples from that god forsaken series called Boruto, where they have comical moments of Hinata being the ''scary mommy'' trope and a ''hot headed wife'' just like Kushina. This doesn't sit well with me and I just see it as SP being SP, nothing more, nothing less; and for the NH fan to be like ''ohh..... look...... there are so many parallels between MK and NH. NH was planned from the beginning. yay...... '' Those sorta BS (pardon me my French).

Also, I'd like to point out that I'm an anti ender not because of the pairing reasons but because of how the ending happened. All thanks to each and every character being nothing more than a pairing fodder, the show has left many debates as to what it's messages and themes are.

I really have zero reasons to like female characters like Sakura and Hinata but this, this is beyond character assassination and also an insult to the fan base, especially those who gave common sense and aren't blinded by pairing choice. For me how the characters are treated is way more important than shipping.

Also, when is your next YT video on Boruto being Oro's genjutsu gonna be released?

Well, for the whole NH thing, the reason why they insist is because the sequel did a 180 and changed her characteristics, so ofc they are willing to die on that hill.

But we all know if we look at the actual content from the manga that she has nothing in common with Kushina nor Minato like they like to say. Kushina is loud and passionate. Where have you seen Hinata display those qualities? Whereas Minato is calm & calculated, something that she isn't once again. She's quiet & shy but that doesn't equate the calmness Minato displays. Not to mention we've seen even in this one shot that Kishi wrote that Minato can also get super passionate from time to time, whereas Hinata has never displayed that feat.

All in all for this whole thing to work they had to turn her into Sakura. It's clear as daylight to anyone who isn't a NH. Even a neutral. So why consume your energy with what they're saying? It's not like it's true. The evidence to support that is those 15 years of serialization prior to the ending that holds all the weight.

We all know TL & the other products at the end were made so that they can retcon the pre-established narrative.

The show ending the way it did basically destroyed everything Naruto once as a story stood for. Sad, but true.

I always said I wouldn't have had any issue with the choice of pairings if done correctly. After all, I used to be a multishipper once. I saw the potential that all had in the beginning. It's just that when part 2 launched, the story was clear of its direction - of course, until they decided to retcon again and to hell with everything.

And sadly, the girls got the short end of the stick. Both Hinata & Sakura, if we're being true to ourselves. But these people are ready to die on a hill just because they're so attached to their opinions rather than seeing the story for what it is - a great emotional impact story, but with a lot of issues underneath it if you put aside the emotional impact.

It's the reason why it pulls so many people into it. Because it's filled with emotional manipulation, in a way. Look at the way the franchise also directs its marketing campaigns for other materials/products. They scan the internet, see what the talk is in the fandom & then bam, there they are with their products that just so happen to have the thematic of whatever talk is in the fandom - like when they are some sort of servants because at some point NH & SS were arguing about who's richer and who's the servant and who's the patron and all kind of BS like that.

Or when we in the NaruSaku fandom had an extensive talk about tarot and the symbolism that surrounds NS and 6 months later bam, there they are with products with tarot themes.

Or that game they have and I saw two of the concepts I had for Sakura combined into a third one.

They basically combined these two artwork concepts into the third one that is their image from the game.

So what can I say? As you can see, Pierrot be doing whatever it is to get their way, lol.

If you think about the girls - when they thought Hinata was more profitable, they pushed her in everybody's face so much so that it affected the story's ending.

Now that Sakura's more profitable, they discarded Hinata like a used toy and she barely makes any appearances outside her mom-like persona.

This only shows anyone with a little critical thinking that SP has no respect for any characters nor the story. It's just about the $$$ and that's it. Nothing more, nothing less.

But meh, anyway, at this point is more than funny lol. It's just Pierrot being Pierrot tbh... Nothing good can be expected of that studio.

As for my next video, I'm planning on getting back to work on these somewhere in March.

Last year I've been caught up with a major life event so it really hindered my capacity to take care of everything that I wanted to do, but as I said, I'm planning on getting back to these.

It's just that I'll need to edit some things since I initially envisioned it in a certain way and there are certain changes that happened in the meantime, that kind of rendered some of the things I worked on obsolete, so I'm trying to adjust to that. But yeah, as soon as I have everything up and running again, I'll definitely start working on it.

its was 6pm, and kazuha had walked into the gym right on time. she looked around and saw sunghoon. she smiled and ran up to him and gave him a tight hug. “hi sunghoon” she said as she smiled at him.

she then heard a sound. it sounded as if someone make their thraot clear. she looked around and saw sunoo and her smile dropped but it quickly picked up as she didnt want anyone to notice. but sunoo did. “hi sunoo” she said with a fake smile. sunoo nodded.

“what did you wanna talk about?” she asked as she looked back at sunghoon. anyone could clearly see how she had heart eyes for him. “well uh-“ “cut the shit, whats your issue kazuha” sunoo cut sunghoon off as he crossed his arms.

“i-i- i dont know what you’re talking about” kazuha laughed nervously. “let me see” sunoo said as he stood up and started walking around the girl in a circle. “threats to sakura about doing all this? ruin all yn’s opportunities? oh and lets not forget, making sure yn didn’t debut? does any of those ring a bell?” sunoo continued as he stood right in front of kazuha, slightly looking down at her with a cold expression.

“w-w-what? how do you even know about all those things!” kazuha shouted in frustration. “we know alot, now are you gonna explain yourself?” sunghoon said as he looked at kazuha with cold eyes. she felt her heart break slightly. she had lost. she truly had. it was like the world was working against her in all ways. “agh that stupid bitch yn, if she wasn’t here then none of this would have happened. dont you see, she ruined my life! she took all the opportunities i could have had, even you sunghoon. im in love with you, but ofc you had to like her. she took everything from me, now its my turn to make her pay.” kazuha said as she grabbed her hair in frustration.

sunoo and sunghoon sat in silence for a while. “why” sunoo asked after a looking at sunghoon for a bit. lazuha sighed softly. “im so tired of being in yns shadow. she was always the one that did the best no matter what, but i’ll give it to her, she practiced hard for everything. she did her best so that she could excel and you could see it but im jus so tired of yn taking everything away from me. the thing that makes it worse is that when she didn’t get the debut spot, she didn’t even seem sad about it. she instead said i deserved it and carried on with her life like normal again which to me is such a huge thing to do. if i didn’t debut i would probably be crying rn yk?” kazuha said as a few tears dropped from her eyes.

“but dont you think you’re going the wrong way about this? like youre creating all this jus so she could feel some sort of remorse but cant you see its not working. yn would’ve shown so much already if it was different but she isnt. and that’s because shes a mentally strong person.” sunghoon said as he felt bad for kazuha.

“i know i have no excuse for what i did, i jus think i was so blinded by the fact that i got it and she didn’t that i wanted her to feel bad. as if all her hardwork went for nothing and that she was useless. it felt so good being in power for once.” kazuha said. “i understand but you need to realise that not everyone is the way you are and how you think.” sunghoon said. “i hope you know this means im not forgiving you at all, but thank you for telling us all this. you need help kazuha. you’re not mentally okay” sunoo said as he sighed and left the gym.

“sunghoon?” kazuha said after they sat in a while in silence. “hm” he hummed. “im sorry” she said softly. sunghoon sighed and walked towards the door. “i shouldn’t be the one youre saying sorry to. youve caused years of healing to sudden be ripped open again. yn needs the apology not me. i hope you know management will be told about all this.” sunghoon said coldly as he left kazuha in the room alone.

Haruno Sakura and misogynistic ass fandom

sakura haruno is one of the most hated chareters in naruto with her hate being so comically massive that it surprised the creator himself... but why ? what went wrong with sakura ?

I, in particular ,am not a fan of the way kishimoto wrote women in the manga or how shonen in general potrays female charechters. But the thing with sakura and misogyny is that it has more to do with the fandom than the author ,and if you ask me ,compared to how demented the fandom is ,kishimoto practically looks like a feminist icon . character criticisms dont bother me, but in the curious case of sakura alot of this “criticism” spirals down to very abbhorent misogyny.

starting right of the bat we have the dude-bros and self-projecting psycho's of the fandom, who hate her cause she's a shallow bitch(their main male charecter-onto whom they project- is a serial attention seeker btw , with being popular his main incentive in life) who likes the popular , good-looking guy and doesnt pay heed to the nice guy's advances dattebayo , no kidding -

i found it difficult to wrap my head around how this utterly gross misogynistic nonsense is so fucking common , it seems that sakura might have triggered their deep down incel by daring to want sasuke -and this also happens to be the reason why hinata is so popular amongst that particular crowd -because unlike that shallow bitch who rejected our nice guy, hinata worshiped his tiny err.."naru-chan"

these wankers' try to paint hinata as the submissive waifu prototype (erasing even her little canon qualitites we get to see to fulfil there deraged fantasies) and just to cope with the fact that sakura rejected naruto , but err he got the plastic doll waifu , so all is well. they dont end it here though , they go on to elaborate how miserable and sad sakura's life and is that this is what she deserves for "choosing the emo" over the nice guy , while naruto apparently had a better ending for himself by "scoring" hinata .

why is this "boob measuring" so unique to sakura(and hinata -ill perhaps make a post on this sometime) why is no other female charecter subjected to this gross misogyny weird boob measuring contest,despite sakura not being the only girl who is flat chested- Tenten , Mikoto Uchiha and Shizune? well for one none of them has outright any interactions on level with naruto , second they dont irk anyone is any way - mikoto is also reduced to the trad sub wife prototype(she is what you'd say harmless, unlike the boisterous sakura, she is soft spoken , tends for the males areound her and doesn't err stand out), tenten and shizune are not even present in the narrative often and when they are , their words wrt to naruto are "safe" - they dont insult the main character , dont reject him dont make him look inferior so their boobs and body are spared

What’s your favorite Sims death? Every death is hilarious--fire and drowning are iconic, ofc. My fave sims GHOST, however, is the Haunted one from SN, and the Hologram one from ITF.

Alpha CC or Maxis Match? Alpha CC. I don't mind Maxis Match in TS3, but EFF NO in TS4--get that clayfied crap out of my face, alpha all the waaaaaay~!

Do you cheat your sims weight? YES, I use a weight gain mod.

Do you move objects? MOOOOOOOO! 🐄🐮

Favorite Mod? I juuuuust made a whole post drooling over my faves.

First Expansion/Game Pack/Stuff Pack? TS1 Makin Magic. Iconic.

Do you pronounce live mode like aLIVE or LIVing? aLIVE.

Who’s your favorite sim that you’ve made? My avatar sim, Sakura Rain, the time-traveling Japanese cherry-tree faery of the Unseelie Court. (She's inspired by all my fave pink-haired anime characters.)

Have you made a simself? Yes, but only when I play The Sims with my family members, and we take turns making each other and our home. It's so much fun.

Which is your favorite EA hair color? White. Especially after TS4 came out with no CASt or color wheel and I couldn't even recreate my main sims like wtf. I have a type, EA!

Favorite EA hair? PFFT! 🙄 I can't stand most of the hairs EA makes in general, especially not the ones for male sims, as most of mine have very long hair.

Favorite life stage? Young adult, by default. But as more mods have been made for kids (No Stretch, Child Magic, Toddler Interactions) I have been enjoying child sims FAR more than I used to.

Are you a builder or are you in it for the gameplay? I'm a builder--that's how I got into TS1 way back in the day. I like decorating interiors--my exteriors are usually sad, I suck at using CFE--and just cluttering up my lots. As a fandom-inspired storyteller, I rely on in-game interactions to give my sims the poses/scenes I need, so having deep and immersive gameplay that allows me to recreate whatever fandoms I want is key.

Are you a CC creator? Unfortunately.

Do you have any Simblr friends or a Sim Squad? A "sim squad"???

Do you have any sims merch? No, but I want one of those plumbbob headbands so I can dress up as a sim on Halloween. XD

Do you have a Youtube for sims? Technically no. I got into making TS3 machinimas inspired by my favorite music a few years ago, and would upload them to Youtube cuz that's what everyone did, but omfg all the recent changes in copyright and music policies has made it SUCH a headache uploading ANYWHERE--including Tumblr!

Like, my most recent IWTV insp. machinima on Tumblr has that stupid Copyright Guidelines thumbnail on it, even though Tumblr ACCEPTED the video and let it go through--it plays! It's not removed, so wtf??? No matter how many times I tried reuploading it I got the same problem--this BS is more trouble than it's worth, tbh.

How has your “Sims style” changed throughout your years of playing? My gameplay will always look a bit pudding, but I think/hope I'm getting better at recreating different fandoms, and getting the level of detail down just right.

Who’s your favorite CC creator? It takes a village. There is no ONE creator--especially since all my OG faves retired a long time ago: Luna, @qingshuangtongzi, Hekate999, etc. And new simmers pop up everyday that blow my mind, so yeah, it's just the community at large, really. 💚💚💚

How long have you had Simblr? 2013--this July will make it a full decade. Tumblr's trash but it's also the absolute best, LOL.

How do you edit your pictures? I suck at editing--in GIMP I just tweak the "Curves" brightness & saturation when the in-game lighting is hot garbage, then call it a win.

What expansion/ gamepack is your favorite? (TS1) Makin Magic, (TS2) Apartment Life & Night Life are tied for witches & vampires, (TS3) Supernatural, (TS4) Vampires. Like, Supernatural changed my life, I seriously doubt I'd've kept playing TS3 as long as I have without SN. I also love World Adventures and Into the Future of course, but Supernatural gave us Witches, Faeries, Werewolves, (I'm not even gonna talk about TS3's busted Vampires like how the EFF were they "updated" or "fixed" when we STILL didn't get a functional coffin, like what frikkin vampire would sleep on a frikkin altar exposed to the sunlight like a effing BUFFOON, EA?!) and all kinds of fanciful content that I just can't live without. Hands down. 🧙🪄🧙‍♀️✨

there was y2k inspiration all over the damn place !

kaori wanted to show that she was fun and fashionable but still strong, so there was a lot of military elements and a lot of pants BSNDMDSJ she’s a bit of a tomboy

ofc, the theme of the self title era was literally just her ! so there was a lot of personal elements like rhinestones, fingerless gloves, highlights in her hair, etc !

the costume design for this tour was a lil simple, but ofc, it was only her first so they couldn’t go too hard lol

there was a LOT of inspo taken from early namie amuro, ayumi hamasaki, girls’ generation, 90s christina aguilera, and britney during her oops i did it again tour !

the vision board for the costumes was insane and ofc kaori was behind most of it SKMSJKWJ

her costume changes were so cool btw ! there was one instance where she ripped off one costume to reveal another in between songs it was just insane sjsjwukd

also yes she did have different versions of her military uniform for practically every show lol

originally, avex had booked smaller venues since kaori was a rookie artist ofc, but then the demand started rolling in

it was so huge that adding more seats wasn’t enough, they had to change venues ENTIRELY !

like she literally sold out arenas,, she sold out both the tokyo metropolitan gymnasium and the jamsil arena,, the way her fanbase exploded within just a few months was actually crazy

she even managed to sell out the wembley arena ! like girl her appeal was insane !

anyways getting to the actual tour, it was a great one ! the sponsors for the tour were shiseido and dsquared2 (!!), who actually made most of kaori’s costumes

she also collaborated with colourpop in the us to sell themed makeup specifically for the tour ! there were these cute booths all over the venues, but unfortunately, they were only sold in the us </3

now onto the actual shows !

the openings were SO cool ! at first it started out with just her dancers on this raised platform, and she practically appeared out of nowhere and went straight into “treat me”

the crowd went batshit like girl that song was EVERYWHERE when it dropped

and ofc she was wearing that military uniform !

the setlist was essentially the entirety of her album + some covers, but it was all so fun ofc

like there was this one instance where kaori started the second half of the show in a ballgown and started singing a piano rendition of “sakura no hi,” and everyone was so sad like they thought the concert was over skhdjwjsj

but then she just. rips the skirt off and goes right into “try me” ?? insane !

and girl when i tell you that EVERYONE knew the lyrics to “try me,” i’m not kidding BSMSJMDNS

like kaori has SO much fun performing it too ! there was this moment during her tokyo finale where she let the crowd scream the “oto o tatete” (make some noise !) that she usually does before the song’s breakdown, and girl you could hear it from OUTSIDE !

crowd favorites were definitely “treat me,” “orite no shake it,” “try me,” “get up,” and “yeah-oh” skhdjdkwks like pretty much the entire crowd knew the words to ALL of those songs

and omg let me tell y’all abt those covers

she literally covered britney, christina, and janet all in one show !

first was “…baby one more time” and kaori was wearing her classic school uni, but then that got removed to reveal a white two piece and then we got “come on over baby”

and everyone thought she was done but then that turned into a black two piece and we got “black cat” !

like that medley was truly crazy

before we get to the encore, there was this one time during kaori’s los angeles show where she caught a water bottle with one hand, and the crowd lost it SWJSJSBSN

and she was so confused like all she did was catch a water bottle 😭

it’s her female fans y’all WJHSJD

anyways, the encore was amazing like,, the staff pushed her around in those portable stages (wth are they even called girl BSWUHJ) and she waved at so many of her fans

usually this would be a safety hazard, but she did ask a fan to throw a bouquet onto the stage !

the encore during the tour’s finale in tokyo was so sad though ! like kaori rarely cries but she was damn near sobbing at the end

she did not expect so many people to show up like she was just so touched y’all

also ! her call and response chant was coined during this tour !

it happened during her first show in tokyo, where kaori said “kao kao” and the crowd responded with “rin rin”,, it was just too cute

also, side note, but during this era netizens LOVED calling kaori a weak singer, but then this tour happened and she sounded INCREDIBLE live

like you could tell that she had been training girl !

and the choreography ?? insane ! like kaori was dancing her ass off during literally every show

anyways, there were meet ‘n greets held before each concert, and there were SO many people who wanted to meet kaori that she was actually thrown for a loop SMNSKJWJSJ

there was also some after each concert for fans who had backstage passes, but girl there was this ONE time,,

it was after kaori’s finale in tokyo and ofc a bunch of her friends came ! but after she finished greeting them her mom walks in !

and ofc she starts crying like that’s her mama !

but then girl he DAD walks in not even a second later and kaori just starts crying harder, sobbing, full on bawling,, like the whole 9 yards

atp she hadn’t seen her dad in 9 YEARS

getting to hug him again after years truly meant sm to her mhm

at the end of the year, a docuseries covering the tour was released onto youtube (even though kaori alr vlogged half of it 😭) ! and on the tour’s 1st anniversary in 2013, avex released a full concert film of her finale in tokyo,, girl it broke RECORDS in japan, and she even visited fans during the premiere !

anyways ! all in all, such a phenomenal tour ! ofc it was kaori’s first one and it was a bit hard to adjust to, but it was so fun ! everyone loved it ♡

like people were literally comparing her to namie, ayumi, and 2000s era britney y’all like it was serious WMSDJWJS

WAUGH SAKURA. this almost never happens but i enjoyed this prompt so much that i wrote a 2k word fic based on it in one sitting. i hope you like it!!

a/n: she/her pronouns for emu, they/them for mafuyu! !! kink blogs please DNI. i personally prefer not to engage with tickling as a kink. this is intended to be fluffy and innocent !!

Summary: Mafuyu has a request for Emu. or Emu can't stand to see Mafuyu sad.

Warnings: Allusions to parental abuse/neglect; tickling.

Asahina Mafuyu x Ootori Emu from Project Sekai (Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage!)

Word Count: ~2k words

Emu’s house was a short walk from Miyamasuzaka. It was a relief, too. After a long week of classes, Mafuyu would be lying if they said they wanted to take the long trek back to their house. And, even better, it was Friday. That meant no cram school, no sudden deadlines, and a little more time to finish their homework (which was mostly completed anyway). Which meant that, today, Mafuyu got to hang out with Emu.

Mafuyu wasn’t sure what they were expecting, but it wasn’t the Ootori household. They figured her house would be something like theirs—modest, but nothing to scoff at. But, no; Emu lived in a mansion. A real, proper mansion. Mafuyu still had little to say as the two walked inside. In lieu of silence, they finally spoke: “This is your house!”

“Yup!” Emu said it like it was nothing. “My grandpa owns Phoenix Wonderland, so we got real lucky!”

“Huh,” Mafuyu mused. “Well, that’ll do it, I suppose.” The two stood quietly in the foyer for a moment, before Mafuyu spoke again. “Um, where should we go?”

“Oh! We can just hang out in my room.”

“Your parents will be okay with that?”

“Umm, I don’t see why not! I have Nene and Rui and Tsukasa over all the time, and they’ve never seemed bothered by them!” Emu giggled. “If anything, you’ll be kind of a relief!” At this point, Emu was already halfway up the staircase. Swallowing hard, they followed Emu up.

Emu’s room seemed almost out of place in comparison to the rest of the house. Whereas the rest of the house was fancy, pristine, almost more of a museum than a living space, Emu’s room was like a little girl’s dream. The walls were bright pink, covered in posters promoting Phoenix Wonderland. Her desk was bright white with an equally adorable vanity to match, and her bed was absolutely covered in stuffed animals. How strange, they thought—and how very Emu.

Emu shut her bedroom door, and then sat cross-legged on her bed. She looked expectantly to Mafuyu. “So, whaddya wanna do?”

“Um,” Mafuyu began. “I’m not sure. What is there to do?”

“Hmmm… we could watch a movie! Or we could go make a snack downstairs! Or…” Mafuyu began to tune Emu out, albeit unintentionally. It was hard for them to focus on anything she was saying. Mafuyu wanted to hang out with Emu; they really did. But at the same time, they weren’t used to being faced with this many choices. They weren’t used to being asked for their input; and, worst of all, they weren’t used to not having a correct answer.

“Mafuyu?” Emu must have noticed the glazed look in their eyes. “Do any of those sound good to you?” Mafuyu felt frozen. They were worried that, if they said the wrong thing, or if they said the right thing the wrong way, Emu might think they didn’t want to be there after all.

“We can do whatever you like. All of those sound nice.”

Emu pursed her lips, clearly unconvinced by Mafuyu’s response. “Well, I am kinda’ hungry,” she said, “but are you sure you’re okay?” She patted an empty spot on her bed, an invitation Mafuyu accepted without thinking much.

“Me? I’m fine.” Emu cocked her head incredulously. Mafuyu was a good liar, but Emu was even better at reading people. “Well… I guess I’ve been feeling a little down. It’s not you or anything, though. Promise.”

Emu’s facial expression continued to soften. “I know! I’m just worried about you.”

“It’s not a huge deal. I’ll get over it.”

“But Mafuyuuuu!” whined Emu. From anyone else, this would be nigh-intolerable; but this was just the way Emu was, and Mafuyu had long since grown used to it. Maybe even fond of it. “Even if it’s the littlest thing in the whole world, it’s still important!”

It was awfully hard to say no to Emu.

“I really appreciate you caring, Emu. Honestly.” Mafuyu averted her gaze. “But… really, I’ll be okay.”

Emu stuck out her bottom lip in an exaggerated pout, pressing her chin firmly onto the pillow between her arms. “Well, I’m not going anywhere ‘til I know why you’re sad, Mafuyu!”

Mafuyu drew in a long breath, before finally admitting, “...I’ve been talking with Kanade lately, about my mom and all.”

“Ooh, Mrs. Asahina! You make her sound like such a meanie!!”

“I–I do? I’m s—” Mafuyu caught themself, realizing just how telling that was. Their mom wasn’t around—she’d never know what they said. Emu was their only witness. And… for as much as Emu loved to blab, they knew she could keep a secret when it mattered. “...yeah,” they chuckled, reflecting an emotion somewhere between fear and relief. “Yeah. Kanade’s made me realize that. Mom just… expects a lot of me, I guess. I know she just wants what’s best for me, but I’ve been working so hard to be what—who—she wants me to be that I don’t really know who I am, or what I like, what I want.” Mafuyu’s concentration broke when they noticed Emu’s expression. Though she was clearly trying to maintain her cheerful demeanor, the crook in her eye and the dip in her lower lip were unmistakable. It was terrifying. Not that Emu was terrifying, no; it was the fact that their account of things was enough to make Ootori Emu’s demeanor break. They tried, in vain, to blink away their tears. “I’m—I’m sorry. Maybe I should—”

“Mafuyu!” Before they could finish, Mafuyu had found themself wrapped up in Emu’s arms. “Never, never apologize for telling me how you feel!” Emu’s grip was maybe a bit too tight, the tackle a bit off-putting, but… Mafuyu realized they couldn’t remember the last time someone hugged them just because they could. And God, Emu’s soft warmth was irresistible. They hoped that hug would last forever. They then felt her hands on their back; firm, intentional rubbing. “I know you’re s’pposed to be my mentor ‘n stuff, and you have Kanade and the others, but, you’re so much more to me than my mentor! You’re my friend, Mafuyu!”

Friend. It ricocheted in their head. Friend.

Emu pulled away, this time establishing a gaze they could not reciprocate, but her strong hands remained on their shoulders. “I love you. I wanna help you! And I hope you’ll let me.” The room was silent. Mafuyu wanted to do so much. They wanted to thank Emu, to hug her, to spill every little thing they ever felt. But they could only choke back sobs as tears rolled down their cheeks. “Oh, Mafuyu…” lamented Emu. Her hands, now much more gently than before, found their place on Mafuyu’s jaw, thumbs wiping their tears away. And without a moment’s hesitation, Emu planted a gentle kiss on Mafuyu’s soft, tear-stained cheek. “No more tears! You’re gonna make me cry!!”

Mafuyu giggled through their tears. Emu made it awfully hard to be sad for a substantial stretch of time. “Okay, okay,” they sniffed. “I’ll try.”

The next few minutes progressed so naturally. The two leaned back onto Emu’s bed, their bodies finding their place amidst Emu’s mountain of plushies. Mafuyu’s head found its on Emu’s chest. Emu’s heart was slower, steadier than they expected. She smelled sweet, too. It was some kind of sweet-smelling perfume; not really a scent Mafuyu could place, but a pleasant one nonetheless. Neither of them said much. Emu continued breathing, running her hands through Mafuyu’s hair, and Mafuyu continued listening to the thump-thump-thumping of Emu’s heart as if it were a song.

And yet, Mafuyu still found themself yearning. For what, exactly? What could possibly make this moment more perfect?

…

Oh.

Their mind swam with the memory of the last “study” session they had, where Emu had tickled their calves to distract them from their studies. For as much as Mafuyu wanted to act annoyed, it was a welcome break from the constant stress they usually felt. They wanted that feeling again.

How on Earth were they to admit this?

“Hey, um, Emu,” Mafuyu began, earning an incredulous hum from Emu. “Do you remember that one thing you did last time we hung out?” Their query yielded genuine confusion from Emu.

“Ummm, which thing? We did a lot of things!”

“Uh, you know, the, um…” Mafuyu tried desperately to hide their blush behind their sweater sleeve. “The thing you did with your hands, when you were trying to distract me from my homework—”

“Oh! You mean when I tickled you?”

“Yeah—yeah. That.” Mafuyu couldn’t decide if their stuttering of their desire was the more embarrassing part of this whole ordeal. “I was wondering if, maybe, you wouldn’t mind, you could—”

“I could tickle you?”

Before Mafuyu could even hope to stammer out an answer, they watched as Emu’s smile grew wider and wider, her eyes brighter and brighter. They sincerely thought she might explode. “You liked when I tickled you?!” she asked excitedly. “Fun, fun, fun!!! Of course I can!” In what felt like an instant, Mafuyu found Emu on top of them, straddling their hips. “Ooh… I wanna find all your tickle spots, Mafuyu!”

Mafuyu turned beet red. “Emu, please, I’m already—AH!” And just like that, Emu’s hands were upon their torso. Her hands scarcely stayed in any one place for long before moving to the next; starting at their tummy, then their sides, up to their ribs and underarms, and every little spot in between. It was everything they’d hoped. “Emu! It—ahahah—it—”

“It tickles?! Well, that’s the point, silly!” Mafuyu hadn’t even realized they were instinctively covering up their body until they found them pinned above their head. “Mafuyu! I can’t find all your spots if you’re hiding them!” Practically immobilized, Mafuyu devolved into a blubbering mess of giggles and high-pitched squeals as Emu’s fingertips attacked their chin, their neck, and their underarms. “Aww, you’re ticklish everywhere! I’m barely trying, see?” Her teases served as a staunch juxtaposition to the utterly overwhelming feeling of her tickles.

Emu paused for a moment. “You still having fun?” Mafuyu was still flushed and panting from laughing; still, they managed a weak nod. “Good!” She responded, immediately resuming her onslaught. Mafuyu laughed just a little bit harder when Emu’s fingers danced across their tummy, when they poked and prodded. “Aww, Mafuyu! Your laugh is soooo cute! I think this spot might be your favorite!” Mafuyu wasn’t so sure. They weren’t sure they had a favorite anything. But they knew Emu’s attention felt good, and that they wouldn’t mind it much at all if Emu’s hands never moved from that spot.

They weren’t sure if they had ever let loose like this, having no choice but to let Emu tickle them. Laughing, squirming, smiling away without a care in the world. And Emu hadn’t a single negative thing to say. She laughed with them. Mafuyu had never felt more perfect.

Is this what Emu meant when she said she loved them?

Must be.

Before they realized, Emu had stopped tickling, leaving the both of them blushing and giggling. And in that moment, Mafuyu realized just how close Emu’s face was to theirs. Almost simultaneously, their faces dropped along with the shades of red in their faces.

And before either of them could act on this predicament, the familiar jingle of Mafuyu’s phone alarm rang. “Ah, shoot,” they said, scrambling for the device. “Mom’s expecting me home in half an hour. I gotta go.”

“Aww! Okay. I can walk you to the door!” Mafuyu would normally protest, but… this time, it sounded nice. They couldn’t hope to wipe their stupid grin off their face.

Too soon, much too soon, they found themselves at Emu’s front door. “All right. I’ll see you on Monday, Emu,” said Mafuyu, pulling her into a hug. “And… thank you for today.”

“Yeah!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!” she replied. “Text me later?”

“Of course.”

So she invites you to her house to eat sakura mochi with her

And who are you to say no

You make the way to her house and she is explaining how he hair is pink and green

And you're listening to her like

:0 that's so cool

And then you compliment her hair and she just squeals and grabs your hand running to her house

Then she serves the sakura mochi and you guys eat after you arrived

And she confesses

And you confess

And both of you are now partners

Nail Painting Hcs with the Port mafia!

Chuuya does not give a single fuck about what anyone says. We all know that this man is brimming with confidence, so I doubt he’ll have any qualms about it. Chuuya sees this as a bonding moment for you both. Away from the mayhem of the Mafia. It's definitely a self-care type of date. You both have face and hair masks on and are in the most comfortable/luxurious sleepwear money can buy, with a large spread of your favorite foods and your fave movie or music playing in the background. And ofc the most expensive wine Chuuya has. If your highly skilled Chuuya wants the sharpest nails you have. If not them he’ll settle with something nice and simple. Maybe a dark red or black(he might ask for you to fade it from black to red at the tip) or a nice blue to match his eyes. He’s not a big fan of the smell(like he doesn’t deal with blood all the time) but he enjoys seeing your smiling face as you talk about your day with him.

I’m adding, the love of my life, Odasaku to the mix because I can and he’s still alive in my mind- Anyways, this is another man that finds the activity as bonding time, but not just between you and him, no, but as a family! It was definitely your and Sakura’s idea to paint his nails. Let's just say that you and Oda were finding glitter everywhere afterwards for days! Odasaku buys the best nail polishes and equipment for it, the variety of color is huge! You know those little stickers they use sometimes for your nails, well he buys so many cute ones that you and Sakura have trouble choosing from. (her favorite is the little bears with hearts and Odas are the cats with glasses) He definitely doesn’t care about the color, so he lets you and Sakura pick it out(you both usually settle for pink or purple) Sometimes the boys will join and either paint your nails or have you paint theirs. Either way, you and your weird little family have the best nails in Yokohama.

Mori would do anything to keep you happy, and if letting you paint his nails does the trick then so be it! It was most likely your and Elise's idea and it was more her demanding for Mori to let you both paint his nails then you. It’s definitely a funny sight to see the feared Mafia Boss submit to a 10 year old. Anyways, Mori, like Oda, buys you and Elise everything you need. He even buys little bows and diamonds(you wouldn’t be surprised if they were real) to put on his nails, though he buys them with Elise and you in mind. But he’s in for a surprise, because the next time any of the Port Mafia Executives see him his nails are bright pink with pastel pink bows on his nails(all courtesy of Elise ofc) He likes these moments because it really does look like you and Mori are married and Elise is your child. It's oddly domestic. Though Mori has to scrub everything off before anyone of his meetings with other groups, cuz you know he is a Mafia Boss. You caught him once and he was almost on his knees begging you not to Elise because he couldn’t even imagine her sad face. Lets just say you got everything you wanted for the next month.

Our little Diablo is very reluctant. Akutagawa is just awkward with intimacy in general, not that this is very intimate to begin with but you get the point. But when I tell you the satisfaction you’ll feel after he agrees is just... chef’s kiss- Aku prefers simple solid colors. Whites, greys and blacks are his go-to and preferred colors. I like to imagine after you and Aku started painting each other's nails more often, he’ll start to moisturize his hands more so they’re not as rough. Speaking of him painting your nails, he’ll get irritated if the paint ends up touching your skin or it’s not smooth. You’ll have to reassure him that it happens and it can be fixed because he’ll sulk about it. Much like Atsushi, Akutagawa can’t stand the smell of the chemicals, so odorless nail polish or having him wear a mask is the way to go. Or else he’ll be a coughing mess. Sometimes Gin will join in and it's the most pleasant time, because the Akutagawa siblings are both quiet beings. It's highly relaxing to be around them. I like to think there is jazz playing in the back while you all just talk with each other. Aku really enjoys seeing the most important people in his life interact with each other, but he won’t say it outloud.

REWRITING NARUTO ROMANCES SO THEY DONT SUCK

We all know that the romance in Naruto is trash and Kishimoto himself admitted to not knowing how to write female characters and getting embarrassed by romantic scenes…so let’s fix that shit

part 1: NaruHina

(I wrote this down as my notes for the post but I actually like it this way so I’m just copy and paste my raw thoughts lol if you get offended you can write a letter to your local congressman, prime minister, or whoever rules over provinces in other countries)

First let’s shit on the original ship shall we

Naruhina…

- what the fuck was the build up to this relationship

- “I respect naruto and I want to be like him! But I’m too shy to talk to him! I even fainted when I saw him after the blank period! JK I HAVE MEGA HUGE BALLS AND CONFRONTED PAIN TO SAVE NARUTO!!!! Confessed my love and got my ass kicked….then didn’t speak to him until the fourth great ninja war and now we’re married with two kids” what the Fuck

- Also can we just talk about how after Hinata confessed her love…and literally almost died for naruto…he didn’t say SHIT to her after he defeated pain, and it was like she never confessed in the first place Lmfao

- He still liked Sakura! But Sakura always loved Sasuke so wtf

- He even was like “YEAH YEAH” when Minuto asked if Sakura was his girlfriend during the war. Then ten minutes later he’s holding hands with hinata and their love and shit (ft the rest of the ASF) and going up against fucking madara obito whatever… what the fuck

- AND THEN BAM THEY GET MARRIED AWWWWWWWWBWBWBWBLEEHHHH

- It makes no sense bro—people say Sasuke never shows his love for Sakura,…to me, naruto never gave a shit about Hinata, at least not romantically (he literally acted like her existence was forgotten for 3/4s of the show; at least Sasuke always acknowledged Sakura from the start)

- It also feels like narutos crush on Sakura was never resolved (I know that they’re supposed to be shown realizing that they aren’t into each other in The Last but…bro isn’t that way too fuckin late to make sense lmfao) He just suddenly shacked up with Hinata???? Bc her cousin died….Idk man that’s kinda fucked up lmfao

So let’s fucking fix this shitshow

- I get that Hinata is shy and stuff but that bitch is a fucking hyuga SHE IS POWERFUL SO GIVE HER MORE SCREENTIME KICKING ASS

- And can we??? Give her more lines in the first part???? Other than “n…n…naruto….” “N-naruto?” “Naruto!” Like wtf was that dude that shit was way more annoying to me than anything.

- We all know Hinata has thoughts feelings and opinions (as humans do) so let’s have her voice them sometimes okay

- Being shy doesn’t automatically make you mostly mute and constantly stuttering

- That stereotype makes me want to crush skulls bro

- Can we give her some balls before pains fight bc that made no sense

- Like maybe standing up to neji even a little bit and defending herself more during the chuunin exams

- I’m not saying she has to be like “HEY SHITHEAD IM GONNA KICK YOUR ASS” bc that’s totally out of character but she totally could’ve been like “Hey you’re kinda wrong and pls show me respect as a member of your clan and an equal leaf shinobi”

- Also I get that Hinata was inspired by naruto but can we stop making every female character’s rise to power and want to be stronger related to a dude?

- Like fine if she was inspired by him but I think it would’ve been way more of a credit Hinata as a person if naruto simply REMINDED her of that part of herself that’s dedicated to proving her family wrong

- I’m just gonna write this as if it happened this way

- She keeps par with Neji, and does ultimate lose but it makes Neji see that Hinata is actually strong and a formidable opponent

- No more shit eating grins from that ego maniac

- And after Hinata battles Neji, she confronts naruto and thanks him for reminding her of her inner strength

- Naruto, who’s surprised that Hinata is talking to him, is like “yeah, sure thing, hinata. You did great!”

- And that opens the door for their real friendship

- Hinata is someone naruto can confide in about Sasuke, and he trusts her

- Hinata becomes someone that gives naruto compassionate advice, and he cherishes her comforting nature

- Then in part 2 after they’re all a bit older, naruto is kinda like “o” when he sees that Hinata has come into her wOmaNhOoD and he’s attracted to her.

- During the blank period he worked through his feelings and realized he only liked Sakura bc of his rivalry with Sasuke. End of that crap

- But naruto is dense as fuck and doesn’t see Hinata in a romantic way until she stands up for him against pain

- Hinata holds her own against pain for a bit bc she’s powerful in her own right but does get her ass beat anyway bc yk rinnegan and everything

- Naruto loses his shit seeing her cut down in front of him and defeats the last pain

- After naruto gives one of his MOTIVATIONAL SPEECHES and changes nagato before his death, the entire village greets him as a hero

- Instead of Sakura running up to him to hug him in that strangely intimate way that’s out of character bc she doesn’t fucking like him that way

- Sakura gives naruto a good hug and is like “you did it buddy you’re pretty cool ig”

- Then naruto talks to Hinata bc she??? Confessed her love? And took a massive beating for him???

- And they start a sort of flirty relationship where they both like each other but like waaaay too much is going on to actually date

- Like they try to between pains assault and the five mage summit but with the news of Sasukes massive downfall and the bounty on his head naruto is like dude I can’t do this rn

- And Hinata is cool so ofc she understands even tho she’s a bit sad

- And during the war when minato asks if Sakura is narutos girlfriend he says “😅 no dad, we’re just good friends”

- Then he holds hands with Hinata and the village and sings kumbaya to kick the fuck out of madara obito

- Then they get married and shit proceeds as normal

- Except in boruto when everyone returns from the battle in the other dimension she doesn’t run up to naruto first okay she hugs her SON and says “thank goodness you’re safe!” And then hugs naruto and thanks him for his work

If you made it this far, congrats LOL. I know this was a pretty short post and some of my reviews are lackluster, but I’m really running out of steam and I just want to hurry up and finish this post LOL. Regardless of my lack at appeal, all these fics are definitely worth the read, even if you don’t really ship it because the writers are just THAT GOOD. In hindsight, this kinda just turned into a Seijoh fic rec thing, but that’s ok LOL. Honestly, I might get rid of this and redo it on another day because it’s really just that bsed (my bad). It's 2021 & tbh I'm happy to see you still serving the truth. So many ppl hate Sakura it's rlly sad. I see hate for her from NH & SNS mostly about her "forcing" her feelings on others like she herself didnt realize that & was stuck trying the alleviate that be growing stronger as her main plot point. Her loss of development is 99% SP NH agenda. & honestly I still wish Sasuke got w/ NO ONE, not even Naruto. He wasnt good to anyone, even if he respected them. [1]

& in general I hate the idea that Sasuke HAD to end up w/ someone romantically to try find happiness & that person should have been Naruto/Sakura/etc. bc he COULD had a happy, content, redemption arc w/o a romantic partner. Not everything great in this world is driven by romantic companionship & Sasuke is honestly not cut out for it. I wish he had platonic healing & mending arcs, not this focus on finding the "right one" to bed with.

I will go down in my grave wishing Sasuke could be aromantic/asexual representation in a positive redemption arc of him making amends & fixing bonds w/o needing the "oh so powerful & miraculous" powers of romantic fixation.

Well my parents taught me that a lie has short legs and it won’t last for long. And all you do is deceive yourself with lying so I took that lesson to the very heart through my upbringing and tried to stay as real as I can be.

I’m the type of person who prefers a hard truth over a sweet lie any day. I have ruined relationships with people because of this way of being. Because I met people in my life that preferred to be sweet talked than told the cold truth.

I am not like that, so yeah.

Now, as for the Sakura hate... well, idk but I’ve also noticed a change in fandom support. Yes, she is still hated but the support for her grew over the years. I’m telling you, it’s one of the things I noticed from the very beginning as I came back to the fandom.

But as I said in a thread on Twitter of mine, while I loved seeing that support, there are two factors that sadden me.

1. The love is directed at Sakura Uchiha, not Sakura Haruno and

2. The fandom as a whole has become a lot similar to the other side of the fandom that used to bully us Sakura fans back in the day.

Of course, I am talking general aspects, I am sure that there are some particularities here and there. But sadly that's the truth. Which made me think about the following things. Are people really liking Sakura Haruno or Sakura Uchiha?

Because it makes me wonder... where was this love back when Sakura was getting her heroine status ripped? Where was it? Are you loving Sakura now just because she's married into the Uchiha clan? Because if so, that's just sad. And shallow. Like ppl used to call her.

And I know it might ruffle some jimmies, but it's the truth. It's an honest and pure observation, after being gone from the fandom for so long. Don't get me wrong, I love that she's loved and supported now, but I can't help but feel that she is because of the wrong reasons.

As for Sasuke, the problem is that the show rewards him with something that Naruto worked for.

We’re never really shown how he is sorry about all the misery he put everyone through.

People say that ohhh, he was a victim. But wait. So was Naruto. He didn’t turn into that?

Not saying that what he did didn’t have an impact on him, but at the end of the day it boils down to CHOICE. Which Sasuke’s plot even is about. He CHOSE to go to Orochimaru. He CHOSE to kill Itachi. He CHOSE to destroy Konoha. HE CHOSE TO WANT TO KILL THE GOKAGE at the end!

And problem is that the plot doesn’t hold him accountable for that. And I will never shut up about how in other media authors don’t excuse the antagonist for his actions.

See FMA’s Scar. It’s the EXACT same thing. He had his clan murdered. Same thing. Genocide.

But do you see FMA’s plot excusing him for his actions like Naruto does? No, it doesn’t.

And I think that’s the core problem.

Like I always said: I have a love-hate relationship with Sasuke. I love the fact that he challenges the status quo, but I hate how he goes about it and how the story gives him a free pass.

Because it all feels hollow. Not to mention is a dangerous morale to leave behind. Especially to the newer generation of young adults who are shaping their character.

It’s sends a message that if you suffered, you get a free pass to do whatever shit you want cuz at the end of the day you get a free pass without having to work hard to get your atonement.

That’s why I love the fight in Jujutsu Kaisen between Panda and Mechamaru. Mechamaru tries to victimize himself and find excuses for his actions, but Panda tells it like it is.

Just because you have suffered, it doesn’t give you the right to be an ass, basically.

As for Sakura and her development, yeah. Everyone acts like an ostrich and hide their heads in the ground pretending that it wasn’t because of SP’s favoritism and mischaracterization that Sakura wasn’t hated.

Well it was that exact same thing that made people hate her. Like I know at some point back in the day, SP had to excuse themselves that noo, they don’t hate Sakura.

As for who Sasuke should’ve ended-up with? Well that is hard to tell. Ofc, personally due to my preference for symbolism and seeing the power balance, it would’ve been nice to see him paired-up with Karin.

Cuz I feel Karin had what it took to shake him up, cuz she didn’t take his BS. But that’s just me and I would’ve totally been okay with an arc like you proposed.

However, yeah, I don’t see him with Sakura at all , I’m sorry. As much as I would’ve liked to.

Hell, I should’ve been happy as a former SS. Yet I wasn’t.

But I guess this boils down to each person’s principles. And I know where mine lie. :)

...Although, it’s more like a stream of consciousness commentary. I try and fail not to make this too long as usual, so warning long post ahead.

Summary: Aidairo leaves us on that cliffhanger by giving us a break with tension-breaker Kou with his caring friends, more Mitsukou, and then dun dun dun they encounter a Wild Comic Relief of Universal Proportions Natsuhiko (poor fish and tarantula I hope they got back safe) and apparently Natsuhiko wants to capture No.6 like he’s the rarest pokemon of all and might have the secret key to the immortality fountain?? Will we ever know more about these mysterious man stay tuned next month. And oh yeah also No.6 always wanted to throw Aoi into the hole to rot away because he’s also a necromancer. Just great and swell here folks, don’t know how Nene and Akane are faring ~
