A long overdue ‘thank you’ to all supporters of this au!

I never expected it to really get this far, but I’m happy it’s become a source of inspiration and admiration. I of course couldn’t have done this without the use of Red’s style and hilarious takes on the characters, so I am infinitely thankful for their content. Even outside of jttw I admire the way they make ancient tales into digestible videos for normies like me <3

it seems like the shorter/smaller iterations of wukong are more chaotic, powerful, and murderous while the taller iterations seem more level-headed and calm.

After MONTHS of NO Digital art because My pen was STOLEN by that BITCH ARRIETTY, I have finally found it and can ART on my computer once more.

Have an oc I wanted to show, but wanted to draw MK first since my Nephews, Spud & Tater Tot, were really excited to see me color him on my 'puter.

I wanted to give him a shirt that had something to do with JTTW since he's a fanboy, but I realized that while he's a fanboy he's also a young adult and would adore a meme shirt, so I made him that out of a panel from OSP JTTW. Full meme and the panel from OSP that I used under cut.

I feel like that quote could be used to explain most of Sun Wukong's personality to people who don't yet know him.
