One thing I think that is so insidious about the Pro-Israel narrative is that they don't even want you donating to the Palestinian cause to provide things like food or medical care for children. There is a concerted hasbara campaign to associate any NGO that provides any aid to palestinians with terrorism.

For example, if you attempt to raise money for the Palestinian Children's Relief Fund, a charity rated 4 stars by Charity Navigator, you may be linked to a page on a website called NGO Monitor. At first glance, this appears to be a neutral charity rating website similar to Charity Navigator. It's not.

Try searching any charity with no connection to the Israel-Palestine conflict on NGO Monitor, and you'll get no result.

Do a little digging, and you'll find out that NGO Monitor was founded by Gerald Steinberg, a Likud party member and former Israeli Security Council consultant. It is essentially a right-wing Israeli front posing as a legitimate charity watchdog while spreading misinformation.

Or consider this racist parody song from Israel's version of SNL. It depicts a hjiab donning woman crying and begging for money in front of an image of shelled out buildings presumably in Gaza. It then cuts away to reveal it is all a set, and her crying is acting, alluding to the Pallywood conspiracy theory. This is followed by caricatures of Hamas members swimming in riches in a luxurious hotel room in Qatar chanting "dollar bills, dollar bills" as donations pile up. The implication is clear; if you give money to Palestine, you are giving money to Hamas. The fact that this video is in English tells you who the intended audience is. It was posted on instagram by Noa Tishby, a former Israeli spokesperson.

This all reflects the true cruelty of the Israeli regime. They don't just want to harm the Palestinians; they don't want you to help them.

And do not smear my name by calling anti-colonial resistance an attack on Jews. The people of Palestine aren't attacking me. They are not my enemy. Their enemy is colonization by an oppressive fascist state. Their enemy is Israel. It's not Jews. Don't you fucking dare commit genocide in my name. Israel is in the wrong here. If you can't see that you aren't fucking looking.

Some have complained about the memes being disrespectful. You're actually legally obligated to make fun of Israeli propaganda and Zionists. I don't make the rules.

Edit 3: "The river to the sea" does not mean the expulsion of Jews from Palestine. Believing that is genocide apologia.

Edit 4: Gazans have specifically asked us to put every effort into pushing for a ceasefire instead of donations. "Raising humanitarian aid" is a grift Western governments are pushing right now to deflect from the fact that they're sending billions to Israel to keep carpet bombing Gazans. As long as the blockades are still in place there will never be enough aid for two million people. (UPDATE: PLEASE DONATE to the Gazan's GoFundMe fundraisers to help them buy food and get out of Rafah into Egypt. E-SIMs, food and medical supplies are also essential. Please donate to the orgs linked in the How You Can Help. Go on the strikes. DO NOT STOP PROTESTING.)

The people of Palestine had been told to go there, they were promised it was safe.

And while this is happening, even though earlier several tags on Palestine were trending, only one or two are now.

I haven’t written any posts personally on Palestine myself. I didn’t feel I had anything to add here aside from reblogging and boosting whatever I can but please. We can’t forget Palestine or its people especially now.

This has gone on too long and gone much much too far MANY times and now is when we need to push harder.

Many of the heads of Western countries are either beating around the bush and wasting time, or outright denying the things the Palestinian people don’t have the privilege to ignore. They don’t have the choice to look away from their pain, or the pain of friends, family, neighbors, their country. And even through all of this they’re still trying their damn hardest just to live. And we all need to listen.

So now, especially if you live in a western country like I do, now we step it up a notch. Now is the time if you haven’t already to read up on Palestinian history. Listen to what the people of Palestine are saying. Hold firm on the boycott like never before. Any and every way you can donate, do it. eSIMs, aid, anything that will reach. Save as much evidence as you can. Videos, articles. Don’t let Zionists pretend all of this never happened.

Even if you think there’s nothing you can do, I’m telling you, keep going. Even if you feel you can only give a little, if we all give a little together it becomes much more.

Hit imperialism where it hurts. In the wallet. Follow the BDS instructions, find protests in your area if you can, boost as much information about Palestine as you can find, call your reps, and do not lose hope. The people of Palestine are not dead. They are holding on even through all this and we all owe it to them to do the same.

A Free Palestine will happen in our lifetimes. But it will be hard fought. So go out there and fight hard! The governments can’t hide from their own people forever. The companies can’t bleed cash forever. The people will win. So push until we do. Do not look away. Free Palestine

Firstly, the existence of the country of Palestine was never in question. And secondly, as per the UK's own words in the oft-referred to "foundational" "Balfour Declaration":

"NOTHING SHALL BE DONE WHICH MAY PREJUDICE THE CIVIL AND RELIGIOUS RIGHTS OF EXISTING NON-JEWISH COMMUNITIES IN PALESTINE."

Plain as day.

In October 2018, Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) hosted their national conference at UCLA. While everyone in the Jewish community agreed that hosting a conference that promotes violence and incitement was bad, there was disagreement about what would be the right way to protest the conference.

Leaders from Students Supporting Israel (SSI) — both at UCLA and nationally, decided to protest the event because anti-Zionism, antisemitism, and Jew hatred have no place at UCLA. While protesting the conference, members of SSI managed to get into the SJP conference and protest it from the main conference stage. When we rolled out a large Israeli flag in front of 300 SJP members, SJP finally got a taste of their own medicine.

In November 2019, the national SJP conference moved to the University of Minnesota. In Minnesota, as well, the SSI chapter leaders, the local national team, and our friends from Reservists on Duty protested the conference. Most others preferred to ignore the SJP conference, but we knew that ignoring a problem will not make it go away or solve the situation on campus.

In order to fight back against SJP we must be vocal, visible, and let our actions speak louder than our words.

At SSI, our two main goals are to be proactive and visible on campus. We do not wait for anti-Israel rhetoric and antisemitism to come; we are here sharing our story, a positive message about Israel, and fighting for the Jewish state. As soon as SSI heard that Students for Justice in Palestine was going to host their national conference at UCLA this year on February 17th–19th, we mobilized quickly and decided to be proactive prior to the weekend.

SSI National and our UCLA team protested with banners of the Jewish victims who were murdered by a Palestinian terrorist right outside a synagogue in Jerusalem, with their names, ages, and large writing that read, “Freedom Fighters do not murder the innocent.”

In past campaigns, SSI has gone to different campuses with the same messaging and photos of the Fogel family, who were killed by Palestinian terrorists. The memory of the victims of terror cannot be forgotten.

This is part of our bigger campaign titled “Palestinian Apartheid Week,” which was hosted for the first time by SSI last year on seven campuses across the country. We created this event, because those who care about protecting human rights should be shocked by the abuses taking place within the Palestinian-controlled territories. The message that SSI brings to campus is revolutionary, not reactionary.

We inform students that the Palestinian Authority (PA)’s policies include ensuring that the land is Jew-free, and that Jews are segregated from Arabs, banning Jews from owning any property, banning Jewish worship, and paying salaries to terrorists who proudly murder innocent civilians.

Meanwhile, in the Gaza Strip, Article 7 of the Hamas Charter declares, “The Day of Judgment will not come about until Muslims fight Jews and kill them. Then, the Jews will hide behind rocks and trees, and the rocks and trees will cry out: ‘O Moslem, there is a Jew hiding behind me, come and kill him.’”

Jews are erased from Palestinian history. Both the PA and Hamas actively seek to erase the existence of the Jewish people from their textbooks, from their maps, and from their education system as a whole. Palestinian officials claim that “Palestine” was never Jewish (it was), and that the Jewish people “stole” the land (Jews have lived on the land for centuries).

Erasing the Jewish existence, lives, community, and history from the map of the Middle East is what apartheid looks like. We must confront students of all backgrounds with these truths, to help change young minds about Israel.

Now is the time to discuss Palestinian apartheid. For too long, the despicable practices of the Palestinian government against Jews have gone unnoticed by the international community. If you would like to host the campaign on your campus, reach out to SSI Movement at: www.ssimovement.org
