designs for my take on a species swap au

a little short summary of it:

instead of the swollen eyeball its the "take over earth club" (dorky name but what do you expect from red and purple) instead about hunting the paranormal, its just kinda a dorky club, where people who hate everything around them team up and plan to over throw or to cause riots for fun and what not, dib is a irken scientist and comes to earth to study the materials there, and to have a safe hide out to make weapons and technology for the tallest (prof membrane) though he gets distracted by the cryptids there on earth, finding them way more interesting than his mission, zim is some rowdy kid who instead of hating things around him just wants to take over the world, he doesn’t suspect dib until dib openly uses his tech outside the skool, zim wants to take dibs weapons and take over earth with them, stuff like that, zims brother red finds zim very annoying and tries to exclude him from the club, giving him fake missions like to steal supplies from the skool or just stupid things, gir is purples brother and spends a lot of time with zim cause purple leaves gir to zim to babysit him, gaz was one of the soldiers who guarded the labs that dib worked at and was sent to “watch over” him (she doesn’t really care about him cause she knows he can do things by himself) tak is a member of the TOE club, and tries her best to do the most for red and purple and what not, sort of the same in the show

zim is 16 and dib is 17

gir is 8

gaz and tak are 15

red and purple are 18 and 19

I’ll add more to this or fix some things once I have a set story, this is just a summary to what I have right now!!!

notes from six broadway 9/8/23

- khaila!aragon winked at me a few times and waved at me

- nasia!cleves also interacted with me a lot, including dancing with me during her part of the megasix

- taylor!parr almost fell over during the end of no way but caught herself before fully falling

- aubrey!seymour was very childlike. like she sounded like a little kid who would’ve made all 4 chairs turn on the voice. very much that like young singing competition contestant voice. also their yelling at aragon during “aw boo hoo little baby mary had the chicken pox…” was giving temper tantrum. btw I mean this as a compliment, he’s very talented.

- khaila!aragon and leandra!boleyn had such fun and low-key flirty interactions

- zoe!howard seemed a little out of it, I hope she’s okay

- leandra!boleyn kept doing this “hehehehe” laugh thing that was really funny

- aubrey!seymour did a little mocking curtsy with the skirt of their dress during the bit before parr’s monologue

- khaila!aragon had really good comedic timing and made me laugh on lines I had never laughed at before. her aragon had like slight anger issues so she yelled at a lot of the other queens then like took a moment to collect herself each time she did it

- like in general a lot of the queens got excited when they looked down and saw me (I did an aragon inspired outfit with a six opening night mask and both were very noticeable)

tallest membrane sent dib to earth to study the life forms there, as well as to find materials for weapons and such, though what he didn't know is how attached dib would be to the super natural there on earth, and is now struggling to get dib back on irk, he sends gaz over to earth to keep an eye on dib so he could at least be safe on earth, but gaz rarely cares about dib (might work on this a bit honestly, ill make a post talking about the whole plot of the au once i have a set storyline)

for the brothers, i loved how gir and purple are both junkies, purple isn't close to gir, but they bond over food and watching tv and movies together! red on the other hand, doesn't hate zim, just finds him really annoying, there are times where they hang out, but its when their parents make them or when zim makes red hang out with him, zim looks up to red a lot, and wants to be apart of the T.O.E. club, doing what he can to be apart of it, and coming along some meetings if their parents make red take him
