I think its funny how we all sometimes write nureyev as pearl-clutchingly proud despite this man having genuinely SO little shame. Like. He pretended to be a sick old lady so he could tail his at-the-time-boyfriend without him knowing. He LOUDLY and PUBLICLY declared his very dramatic, fake love for a woman Just so she would give him money. EVERYTHING about Perseus Shah. i know you're most likely not that into the penumbra podcast anymore, but i need to tell you that you predicted a s5 nureyev gambit in that perseus shah fic you did ('to spite your own rules'). juno being focused on making sure something big and dazzling isn't stolen and not realizing that it's a con from the start, i mean. the whole episode i was thinking about your writing and i went and read everything you've written for the fandom, again. it really took me back. so, thank you for writing those fics, even if you don't do fics as much anymore. i read them again and every time i read and reread something of yours it's just as good as the first time. the way you have with words is still amazing to this day.
