AKC replied claiming that dogs have their tails docked because it is an important part of the functionality of them doing their jobs. Dogs is 2019 rarely are working dogs and most working dogs have their tails. Please spread this to all your friends and family and please sign to show them that the suffering of our pets is unwanted and frankly barbaric.

I was honored to be nominated and receive the Unsung Hero award for my volunteer photography at LCHS. I’m humbled by the opportunity. So far our shelter has received a $10k grant to help the animals. Now we’re in the running for an additional $25k. We have a 1 in 5 chance of winning. This additional grant will be decided by votes. Every week, for seven years and counting, I go to LCHS and I can’t believe I get to make a difference in the lives of these amazing critters. Now you can help them too. WHAT: Following two successful virtual events in 2020, Jackson Galaxy’s Cat Camp, the acclaimed event for animal enthusiasts of all stripes, is back for a springtime celebration to engage and inspire cat lovers around the world. Reinvented as a virtual event due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Cat Camp’s mission is to educate, entertain and empower by providing the right tools to every individual interested in helping animals, regardless of their level of knowledge, and experience with cats. Whether cat curious or cat-obsessed, this season’s camp counsellors will aim to directly motivate attendees by building courage and confidence to take on a bigger role in the cat community.
Thanks to a lifesaving investment by Petco Foundation, a national, nonprofit animal welfare organization working to inspire and lead change for animals across the country, Cat Camp Spring Forward @Home is free to attendees. It will feature interactive content, both entertaining and educational, that includes harness and clicker training (including how to teach cats to high-five), caring for kittens, fundraising ideas, how to serve community cats best, and so much more, followed by an “After Pawty” full of cat-themed activities, games and prizes.

On occasion, if we have space, we'll take in surrendered small animals, fish, and reptiles. . We don't judge. Life happens. Death happens. We take surrendered animals for all types of reasons. We're just happy that they bring them to us instead of simply releasing them like so many other people do. . These 2 corn snakes (the larger one was hiding, but you can see how large his shed skin is) were brought to us today. They do need a little help, but I'm confident that with a little TLC, they will make fantastic pets for someone.
