First World Caller (Wizard Archetype)
Tumblr media
(art by Matteo Brizio on Artstation)
When you look for the power and blessings of the fey, you probably look for druids, maybe rangers, or else an enchantment-focused caster like a bard or even mesmerist. One usually does not look to the disciplined and measured power of a wizard for flights of fey fancy.
And yet, with today’s archetype, we are presented with exactly that. Whether it be because of artificially strengthened pacts or bonds with the fey or the First World itself, or a natural affinity for the fey realms, today we are looking at a form of wizard that boasts the ability to call in a bit of the First World wherever they are.
And why not? With it’s primal and wild magic, as well as it’s connections to the earliest days of the multiverse, the fey realm of the First World seems the perfect place to study magic at it’s most wild and untamed, free from the structures and systems imposed by gods and mortals alike.
This archetype is heaviliy associated with gnome civilizations that still dwell in the First World, but any ancestry, gnome or not, can potentially learn or be imbued with this path.
These wizards bond with a familiar, which seems to have been created or linked to them by how their soul has interacted with the First World in their past, perhaps before they were even born. Either way, these familiars are part fey, and though their physical defenses are not as impressive and they do not grant their master the typical blessing based on their species, they do gain a measure of fey resistance to damage that is not from cold iron, as well as a bit of resistance to magic and the ability to shapeshift into a humanoid form. Later on, they even grow insectile wings if they don’t already have them, gaining flight.
With their connection to the First World, these mages excel at summoning creatures, and learn how to summon many different types of fey ally in addition to the typical summons.
In addition to this, more powerful callers can infuse some of the ever-changing nature of the First World into local reality, altering it’s physical and even magical properties. Gravity, magic, and even alignment-based planar properties are theirs to impose upon such a region for a short time.
Interested in a character with a unique familiar, summons, and even the ability to create massive areas that can help or hinder with planar traits? This archetype may be for you. You lose out on the arcane school, which will limit your spell slots somewhat, but the options opened up by your new summons and the like should make up for it. Naturally, summoning spells are an important part of the build, and feats that bolster them or help you acclimate to the conditions you impose upon reality are good choices.
This archetype has a nice little touch of “magical destiny” to it that is perfect for “secret heirs to magical kingdoms” sort of personal storylines, as well as the eager young mage that leaps into exploring their unique ability.
All his life, Micross has been able to see hints of the fey realms, and had a gift for befriending the denizens that seemed attracted to his presence, but he never had any idea what it meant. So, he studied, hoping to understand more by developing his own magic through this connection. Finally, a breakthrough was discovered when he heard rumors of a way to follow the thread of fate back in time, allowing him the opportunity to see where this connection comes from and what destiny he was shouldered with… but will he find peace of mind, or disappointment?
On the world of Vushan, elves have a much more defined fey connection, and the royal families of which often exhibit an inherent ability to command the fealty of the fey and the very fey realms themselves. Nobody expected such an ability to manifest in a half-blooded scion born from a tryst with a human woman, however. But, that ability does make him a contender for the throne, causing much stirring in the elven courts.
After barely surviving a peryton attack, Akkez fled through a fey grotto and ended up in the realm of the fey, where he bartered his magical skill in exchange for passage and protection. It’s been years now and he has learned many new magical abilities. However, he still remains there, partially out of fear that the peryton still hunts him, but also because his debt to the fey continues to grow.

Ranger (Drakewarden)
Your connection to the natural world takes the form of a draconic spirit, which can manifest in physical form as a drake. As your powers grow, your drake grows as well, blossoming from a small four-legged companion to a majestic winged creature large and strong enough for you to ride. Along the way, you gain an increasing share of the awe-inspiring power of dragons.
Consider the source of the draconic spirit you have bonded with. The Drakewarden Origin table offers examples.
Drakewarden Origin
d6 Origin
1 You studied a dragon’s scale or claw, or a trinket from a dragon’s hoard, creating your bond through that token’s lingering draconic magic.
2 A secret order of rangers who collect and guard draconic lore taught you their ways.
3 A dragon gave you a geode or gemstone to care for. To your surprise, the drake hatched from that stone.
4 You ingested a few drops of dragon blood, forever infusing your nature magic with draconic power.
5 An ancient Draconic inscription on a standing stone empowered you when you read it aloud.
6 You had a vivid dream of a mysterious figure accompanied by seven yellow canaries (I mean come on this is obviously Bahamut for anyone who knows Dungeons and Dragons), who warned you of impending doom. When you awoke, your drake was there, watching you.
Draconic Gift: At level 3, the bond you share with your drake creates a connection to dragonkind, granting you understanding and empowering your presence.
You gain the following benefits:
Thaumaturgy: You learn the Cantrip Thaumaturgy, which is a ranger spell for you.
Tongue of Dragons: You learn to speak, read, and write Draconic or one other language of your choice.
Drake Companion: At level 3, as an action, you can magically summon the drake that is bound to you. It appears in an unoccupied space of your choice within 30 feet of you.
The drake is friendly to you and your companions, and it obeys your commands. See its game statistics in the accompanying Drake Companion stat block, which uses your proficiency bonus (PB) in several places. Whenever you summon the drake, choose a damage type listed in its Draconic Essence trait. You can determine the cosmetic characteristics of the drake, such as its color, its scale texture, or any visible effect of its Draconic Essence; your choice has no effect on its game statistics.
In combat, the drake shares your initiative count, but it takes its turn immediately after yours. It can move and use its reaction on its own, but the only action it takes on its turn is the Dodge action, unless you take a bonus action on your turn to command it to take another action. That action can be one in its stat block or some other action. If you are incapacitated, the drake can take any action of its choice, not just Dodge.
The drake remains until it is reduced to 0 hit points, until you use this feature to summon the drake again, or until you die. Anything the drake was wearing or carrying is left behind when the drake vanishes.
Once you summon the drake, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest, unless you expend a spell slot of 1st level or higher to summon it.
Drake Companion
Small Dragon
Ac: 14 + PB (Natural Armor)
Hp: 5+ 5 times your ranger level (the drake has a number of hit dice [d10s] equal to your ranger level)
Walking Speed of 40ft
Str:16
Dex:12
Con:15
Int:8
Wis:14
Cha:8
Saving Throws: Dex 1+PB Wis 2+PB
Damage Immunities: determined by the drake’s Draconic Essence
Darkvision 60ft
Languages: Draconic
Draconic Essence. When you summon the drake, choose a damage type: acid, cold, fire, lightning, or poison. The chosen type determines the drake’s damage immunity and the damage of its Infused Strikes trait.
Action: Bite Melee Weapon Attack: +3 +PB to hit, 5ft, one target Hit: 1d6 plus PB piercing Damage
Reaction: Infused Strikes. When another creature within 30 feet of the drake that it can see hits a target with a weapon attack, the drake infuses the strike with its essence, causing the target to take an extra 1d6 damage of the type determined by its Draconic Essence.
Bond of Fang and Scale: At level 7 the bond you share with your drake intensifies, protecting you and stoking the drake’s fury. When you summon your drake, it grows wings on its back and gains a flying speed equal to its walking speed.
In addition, while your drake is summoned, you and the drake gain the following benefits:
Drake Mount: The drake grows to Medium size. Reflecting your special bond, you can use the drake as a mount if your size is Medium or smaller. While you are riding your drake, it can’t use the flying speed of this feature.
Magic Fang: The drake’s Bite attack deals an extra 1d6 damage of the type chosen for the drake’s Draconic Essence.
Resistance: You gain resistance (Half Damage) to the damage type chosen for the drake’s Draconic Essence.
Drake's Breath: At level 11, as an action, you can exhale a 30-foot cone of damaging breath or cause your drake to exhale it. Choose acid, cold, fire, lightning, or poison damage (your choice doesn’t have to match your drake’s Draconic Essence). Each creature in the cone must make a Dexterity saving throw against your spell save DC, taking 8d6 damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
This damage increases to 10d6 when you reach level 15.
Once you use this feature, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest, unless you expend a spell slot of 3rd level or higher to use it again.
Perfected Bond: At level 15, your bond to your drake reaches the pinnacle of its power. While your drake is summoned, you and the drake gain the following benefits:
Empowered Bite: The drake’s Bite attack deals an extra 1d6 damage of the type chosen for its Draconic Essence (for a total of 2d6 extra damage).
Large Drake: The drake grows to Large size. When you ride your drake, it is no longer prohibited from using the flying speed of Bond of Fang and Scale.
Reflexive Resistance: When either you or the drake takes damage while you’re within 30 feet of each other, you can use your reaction to give yourself or the drake resistance to that instance of damage. You can use this reaction a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

HIIII!!!
PLEASE SAY MORE ABT UR MINIFORCE AU!!! Also so true there is no heterosexual explanation for the Emo red bird ❤️❤️❤️
I SEE U WANT MORE!!!!! ALRIGHT HERE YOU GO!!
In this AU there's more than just the main team, which is dubbed the land team, there's also the water, air, and elite teams! Sammy was originally supposed to be in the air team, but due to his inability to fly, which was proven in the Miniforce training academy, he was forced into the land team.
There are more than one team for each subject, but these are just the main ones.
The land team, as the name states, primarily deals with issues on land, but they will take to the skies when all forces on the other teams are pre-occupied.
With that out of the way (I will elaborate more on this if asked!), let's get to the team's members!
First, Volt!
Volt is still the leader of the agents, and is an Eastern Grey Squirrel. He uses He/Him pronouns and is Bisexual with a preference for women, because that's cool! He still has his incredible speed, but now, if he runs fast enough in his ranger form (Looks relatively similar to the X suit), he can create a shockwave that wipes out all power in a 10-foot radius. Pretty neat, huh? In spite of being an animal himself, he doesn't do well taming other / feral animals, and instead will become cowardice around them. He normally relies on Sammy to do the honors. He's often described as fun, playful, and slightly annoying by his peers, but once he's transformed, he's a completely new person. He's instead a matured, heroic figure who helps others in times of need, holding responsibilities you'd never guess he'd take on in his animal form. The only issue, though, is that he's a major instigator. Even though he cares greatly for his teammates, they always have to walk on eggshells around him in fear that they might say something wrong and provoke him into doing something reckless, which they sometimes have to stop- unless, of course, it actually helps. In his transformation, he seems to be very confident and charismatic, and manages to reel in girl after girl, even if he isn't interested, but he doesn't really mind the attention. His primary weapon is the Gun of Storm (Volt Gun , Force Gun, yk)
=========
Next up, Sammy! Sammy is the second-in-command / sub-leader, and is a great horned owl. They use any pronouns and is Bisexual with a major preference for men. Sammy has incredible jumping-power, which makes up for his inability to fly. In spite of his leg power, under normal circumstances (such as standing for long amounts of time, or any time he's in his animal form) his legs are highly unstable and often give out on him, as he is disabled. His suit is modified to accommodate for his needs and power- he has knee and foot braces, and his shoes are the portal long-fall boots! He also has compressing sleeves to help with chronic pain in his wings/arms and a built-in retractable cane! She's pretty good with kids, despite the fact they often cry when she's around. Also, when encountering feral animals, she's the one who tames / calms them. He's often described as cold and stoic by his peers, never immediately trusting of new people. He is also incredibly formal, never referring to Suzie as anything other than "Miss" / "Ma'am" / Et cetera. He acts older than he actually is, as he trained himself to be hardened and apathetic ever since the incident in his childhood that caused both his chronic pain and inability to fly. He often is the one who makes the plans for missions, and when things don't go the way they're supposed to, she panics so bad he starts to spiral, and begins to blame herself even if it was caused by outside forces. He also claims childish things such as games or pranks to be, well, "childish" or "naive", and normally passes unless the leader(Volt) asks him to. Very rarely does she show emotion, only ever doing so when he's shocked or angry, or if she's upset/frustrated with Volt's provocation and instigation. As standoffish as he is, she always puts others over himself- always being the first one to be a sacrifice or to put himself in danger. Her peers are always telling him to be more selfish, but this never happens. In an odd way, Sammy seems to be calmer around Lucy and Volt, and has said that he can't imagine a life without either of them. He's always fascinated with- and has difficulty saying no to- the two of them, and no matter how snarky Volt can be, he never lets up. Even then, Sammy's demeanour can change, for better or for worse, when it comes to them. He fears that how he acts around then will change everyone's view on him. Sammy's primary weapon is the X Sword. (Sammy sword, force sword..)
=========
Time for Max! Max is the brawn of the team, and is a north american beaver. He uses He/Him pronouns and is AroAce. Max has inhumane strength, notably being able to lift trucks, busses, and more. He has the best physical and mental health out of the four on the team, and is known for that, too. He's great with both kids and animals. As described by his peers, he's a big softie, and incredibly kind, but tends to act impulsively- getting the team into more danger than he should. He has a strong sense of justice and holds grudges the most out of the four, but is determined to remain as calm and sophisticated as he can. He manages to pull in allies and friends incredibly easily, and is incredibly observant. Even so, he does often take things literally. His primary weapon is the X Hammer.
=========
Finally, Lucy! Lucy is the anchor of the team, and is a South American Grey fox. She uses She/They pronouns and is a lesbian. Lucy has mystic abilities, being able to summon force fields, shields, and even bullet-like shards of crystal at will. She can mend wounds with this ability, as well, though this does take time. She is incredibly good at babysitting, though isn't the best with ferality. Lucy is the calmest of the group, having the patience of a saint. She never lets her emotions get the best of her, and is usually the one everyone turns to to keep the peace between her teammates. She is normally non-confrontational and tries to keep argument to a low. She is always one of the first to protect her team with her own body, aside from Sammy. She's incredibly observant and has the best memory in the team. In spite of her gentle, peace-making nature, she can also be confident, courageous, and most of all, very intimidating when she needs to be. She is strong and independent, and even though she is incredibly difficult to irritate, when someone does get on her nerves, she doesn't hesitate to strike. Her primary weapon is the X Rod (Lucy Rod X).
=========
Other fun facts!
Lucy is the tallest member of the group, and Sammy is the shortest.
Sammy, despite being the shortest member, has the longest legs out of all of them.
Sammy and Lucy are incredible singers and dancers.
Sammy is the most flexible, whilst Max is the least flexible.
Lucy takes Romance very seriously, similarly to canon.
Volt has a more mature demeanour, even in his animal form.
Even so, Volt still holds his love for peanuts and is prone to doing reckless/impulsive things for them
Max and Lucy have AuDhd (Autism and Adhd)
Sammy has BPD, ADHD, and is Autistic, aswell as an invisible disability.
Volt has ADHD.
=========
Wellp, that's it for the main 4! If you want info on Leo, Ray, et c, I'll add that in another post!

"I'll keep you warm." + Boom! comics; Coinless Bulk & Slayer Kim~
Protective Wings
So insidiously had the cold penetrated in those early years, Kimberly had scarcely noticed it. It seeped along her veins, crystallizing her blood as it crawled like poison ivy towards her heart. Her skin prickled with the numbness, much as her mind behaved when emotion hysterically screamed for release.
When the realization of her frozen state flashed into her consciousness, the Ranger Slayer was positive she knew the very day those icy tendrils took root. It was the day the world changed, flipping chaotically to the demented, upside-down Wonderland they now inhabited. It continued to grow since then, sprouting poisonous leaves and thorns that kept people away, even her teammates.
Kimberly had been so young, so idealistic; she truly believed that just like all the other times, they would pull it out of the fire at the last minute and save the day. Why would this be any different? Zordon had found the solution and if they could just hold off the attack a little longer, Jason would absorb the White Tiger powers.
The thunderous blast shook the surrounding battlefield, large, jagged chunks of stone raining down from the heavens as their beloved Command Center exploded. Rangers and monsters alike were knocked to the ground in stunned surprise. Thick, black smoke choked the air and obscured her vision as she struggled to peer through it; her eyes burned painfully and blurred with irritated tears.
Powerful white, silky legs stalked through the billowing carnage and her heart swelled with joy. He’d done it! Jason was now the White Ranger, the only one strong enough to stop Rita and her prized Green Ranger, the newly titled Lord Drakkon.
But her smile quickly faltered. The air began to clear and the person who was approaching was not her big brother. In fact, this new Ranger’s fingers clutched a grimy, shattered Red Tyranno helmet as it swung nonchalantly at his side. The familiar ominous laugh echoed in her mind even now.
Lord Drakkon grinned and raised the arm holding the destroyed protective covering. Blood streaked the metal mouth guard, dripping thickly onto the dry, dusty earth. The visor was busted, and the red enamel was laced with deep scratches.
“No!” she’d screamed, sure this wasn’t really happening.
Drakkon turned the helmet’s face towards his own and gazed lovingly at it, before tucking it up under his arm possessively.
“Yes!” he’d loudly gloated. “Your precious leader failed you! He wasn’t strong enough to stop me! And now, you’re all going to DIE!”
Somehow, the remaining Rangers had managed to flee; the details of that miraculous feat nothing more than random snippets now. But they managed to not die and that was what mattered. Civilians had fled with them into the charred remains of Angel Grove to wait out the roving patrols.
That night, despite the pouring rain and the obvious danger, Kimberly found herself surreptitiously returning to the rubble that remained of the Command Center, sticking to shadows and muddy side trails. The weather had never behaved this way before. It even seemed to be weeping for their loss.
The drastic weather changes were only the beginning though she didn’t know it yet. Drakkon’s Wonderland would only continue to stagger towards insanity, shaping itself in an eerie facsimile to the tyrant’s psychotic mind. This night, he already planned Rita’s murder and merely bided his time.
Physically, the deluge didn’t stop Kimberly. She pushed her soaked and dripping brown hair from her eyes, the water cooling her still reddened cheeks. In the early hours following Jason’s death, she had sobbed buckets for her big brother, the hot tears scalding her skin painfully. Kim cried until she had no more liquid to spare, but it didn’t stop her from rocking and making animal-like sounds of grief.
Jason didn’t deserve this, to be left to decompose under this burned out shell of their headquarters. The thought of him being out here, alone, cold, possibly partially exposed to the elements and scavenging animals had been too much. Even though he wasn’t alive to know what was happening, she couldn’t shake the agonizing thoughts.
Kimberly worked mightily, grabbing chunks of stone and debris, throwing them blindly over her shoulder, hunting for Jason, desperate to find him but also dreading what she was going to see if she did manage to locate his body. She blocked out images of what he might look like, crushed, bloody, swollen, pale and lifeless. It was a sacrifice she would gladly make to give him a proper burial.
She didn’t know how long she’d been out there, only that eventually the rain had ceased, and the full moon glimmered down, giving her some light.
“Kimberly Hart!” a voice yelled, harshly, attempting to not catch the attention of any scouts that might be patrolling nearby. “What the fuck are you doing, girl? Get back here!”
“Go away, Zack! I’m not leaving until I find him!” she’d defiantly answered, continuing to scrabble at chunks of metal consoles and busted tile.
The Black Ranger grabbed her shoulder firmly and pulled her towards him.
“How, Kim? How the hell do you think you can find Jason in all this? He’s gone!” he hissed, hoping to force some sense into her. “If he was alive, Jason would be flipping out, seeing you risk your life like this!”
He took both shoulders and gave her a brisk shake.
“He would also be kicking my ass right now and demanding I get you away from here! Drakkon’s goons are everywhere, Kim!”
Kimberly jerked back from Zack’s hold.
“It’s not right! Jason can’t just be left to rot somewhere out here, getting pulled apart by wild animals. He deserves better than this!” she screamed hotly.
Zack’s eyes widened.
“Shhhh!” he hissed, bringing his finger to his lips and scanning for approaching soldiers. “No one is saying he does, Kim! I can’t stomach the thought either, but it won’t change anything. We have to stay alive so we can stop Drakkon!”
“How, Zack? Jason couldn’t stop him and now he has two coins! He’s stronger now!”
The Black Ranger hung his head, exhausted, frightened, and trying to compartmentalize his own grief at his best friend’s death.
“That’s why you need to come back with me so we can all figure this out. Together,” he whispered.
Eventually, Kimberly had agreed, casting long looks back in case she managed to catch a glimpse of Jason’s body under the moon’s illumination. But there was nothing.
The losses continued to mount as time marched steadily onward.
Billy was the next to fall, sacrificing himself to protect Trini from Drakkon. The Yellow Ranger had watched her blue teammate perish before her eyes; the poor girl had refused to speak or even eat for days. Only Kimberly’s prompting and insistence broke through the haze of grief.
The icy armor had spread like wings, blunting her emotions and allowing her to speak harsh truth to Trini. But one death rolled into another. The people around her were falling like dominoes. There had to be a way to end it before everyone dear to her was gone.
Kimberly’s heart was being drawn to a dark, vengeful answer. Kill Drakkon! Slaughter him as cruelly and painfully as he’d done to the others he’d murdered. The tyrant perpetuated several rumors over the years, using Jason’s death as nightmare fuel for the remaining former Rangers, whose coins he’d managed to pilfer.
First, Drakkon claimed he’d stabbed Jason. Then it grew more elaborate and horrifying. The monster added details like decoration to a cake.
He’d slashed Jason’s throat, watching him bleed out like a chicken with its head cut off.
He’d snapped the Red Ranger’s neck, but since it was early days, he’d done it wrong, causing Jason to suffer. Showing his enemy mercy, Drakkon had then strangled the gasping teen with his bare hands.
He’d beaten Jason so badly the Ranger went into convulsions, so he’d kindly slid his blade into the boy’s heart.
Each iteration made Kimberly more and more sure that was going to end the motherfucker. And she’d do it alone. No one else was going to die by this demon’s hand.
Those who knew Kim watched in horror at her transformation, this one not due to Drakkon’s magic but her own freezing heart. She never cried anymore, barely flinched in battle, destroying Sentries so brutally that the former bubbly Pink Ranger was a distant memory.
Her fellow Angel Grove classmates, Bulk and Skull had tried to reach her to no avail. Knowing that she most likely wouldn’t listen, they still attempted to bring back some of the sweet, soft girl they used to tease. Nothing. She stared at them with blank eyes, not even annoyance gracing her features.
The night before Skull left to join the Sentries, he and Bulk met in their hang out in the latter’s basement.
“You sure about this?” Bulk whispered, idly plucking at the broken knobs of his gaming controller. This action had always soothed him even though the days of goofing off playing video games were gone.
“I’m sure, Bulky. If I can get in with the Red Sentries, I can find out Drakkon’s plans before he strikes. I want to help them. They’ve always saved us before we even knew who they really were,” he answered sadly.
But there was also an undercurrent of anger.
“It doesn’t have anything to do with Drakkon killing Billy, does it? You won’t get in there and do something stupid, right? We’ve never been fighters, Skull, not on that level anyways,” Bulk stated, staring into his best friend’s eyes.
Skull shrugged, his expression hardening, making him look very much like the strong man he would become.
“Maybe it does. I never had the chance to tell him how I felt. That I was in love with him. And that I was sorry for how I treated him before. It eats at me, Bulk. I saved him once. Why couldn’t I save him again?”
The other teen put a hand on his shoulder.
“You couldn’t deflect Drakkon’s weapon, Skull. Billy knew the risk being a Ranger. No one thought that fucking dick, Tommy, could do something like this. I wish I would have just beaten his ass like I wanted to,” he growled.
Now it was Skull’s turn to point out the obvious.
“You kick Oliver’s ass? I love you Bulky, but we both know that would have been a massacre,” he chuckled gently. “You sure you can’t tag along? It’ll be a grand adventure.”
Bulk shook his head resolutely.
“No can do, buddy. I can’t leave the three we have left. Who will take care of them? Because they won’t do it themselves. Someone has to make sure they eat and get rest. Someone has to look out for them because they’re blind right now,” he ground out. “I never saw myself as a mother hen-type but here I am.”
Skull nodded in understanding.
“I know you’ll do a good job, Bulky. And I’ll be careful. Cross my heart I won’t try to take Drakkon out myself. Just feed information back to you guys. Deal?”
They shook hands, each fighting back tears at potentially never seeing the other again.
“Keep an eye on Kimberly especially, Bulk. She’s changed a lot and not for the better,” he said, then laughed. “Not that there’s anything better anywhere now.”
“You got it, pal. I hope she doesn’t do something stupid. We can’t take anymore loss.”
When Skull departed the camp, Bulk dutifully kept his end of the deal. Being the only one that the lanky trusted with his secret plan, he’d acted as surprised as the rest to find him gone. He was sure the others didn’t exactly buy the notion that he had no clue where Skull had gone, but they had bigger problems brewing and let it go.
Bulk had always had a stubborn streak, rivalling that even of Jason Scott. The former bully hadn’t been all that shocked to learn that the dark-haired teen had been the Red Ranger. Scott had always been a hero-type, sweeping in to save the day when Bulk’s antics got out of hand and even standing up for him, when Bulk was on the receiving end.
He shook his head in frustration. Of course, everything made sense after the fact. The ferocity of the new kid’s rage, his hateful rumors and innuendos, the way he’d targeted Jason, Kimberly, Billy, Zack, and Trini. Most especially his twisted obsession with Jase. That had earned Tommy his own juvenile, gossipy rumor.
A fellow outcast named Stewart had commented that it seemed like this Oliver kid was attracted to Jason and that’s why he couldn’t stop stalking the object of his rage. Others around at the time and who had overhead this observation ran with it. Once it got back to the football team, a big, burly player, Kevin, had stupidly yelled at Tommy during a convocation, with a large audience of bored, antsy teenagers.
“Hey, Oliver! Why don’t you and Jason just fuck already and get it over with? Stop drooling over his cock and obsessing over him!”
Laughter erupted and Kevin had smiled smugly at his cheekiness, catching high-fives from the other players seated around him. Jason, who had also been sitting nearby, heard the screamed insult and cast wide eyes at the green clad teen. He was tensed waiting for an epic explosion.
But Tommy smiled beatifically before turning back to the presentation.
Later that day, he’d caught Kevin in an empty stairwell between classes and beat the piss out of him before tossing him down two flights of stairs. He’d lain there for quite a while before being found. Bulk watched as the boy was taken out on a stretcher to a wailing ambulance. He’d also watched Tommy smirking from the back of a large group of students watching the production.
That time, Bulk had gone to Mr. Kaplan and told him about the convocation incident. But there was no proof Tommy had done it. Jason tried to take matters into his own hands later and he and Tommy had banged each other up pretty bad before a teacher stepped in.
‘I should have helped Jase stomp a mud hole in that fucker,’ Bulk seethed.
No use crying over spilled milk though, so the teen firmly upheld his own upspoken set of rules, keeping the remaining trio fed and fussing at them when they behaved foolishly. Rather than chafing under his wing, Trini and Zack nestled in, seeking some kind of relief. Kimberly, however, rebelled and did so with an obstinate air.
She refused to be soothed, instead drinking in all the rage, grief, and pain; she froze it in an icy, sparkling cage. Maybe one day there would be time and strength to address it. Maybe not.
Kimberly disappeared one morning with not so much a so long, farewell, kiss my ass. Nothing. Off to kill Drakkon, everyone was sure. The grieving of her loss had already begun, as no one could foresee Drakkon’s fall at her hands. Imagine their surprise when she reappeared, wearing new regalia and wasn’t there to help.
She was Drakkon 2.0 only without his wild outbursts of fury and outlandish theatrics. The Ranger Slayer was a cool customer, cutting through the resistance like butter. Her reputation dripped with blood on a par with the tyrant’s. Her betrayal severed her already tenuous connection with the surviving civilians she’d coldly ignored prior to her departure.
Bulk would never admit to the tears he shed every night as he prepared dinner for Trini, Zack, and himself. Hunkering over a hot stove and occupying himself preparing the ingredients made it easier to wave off anyone who attempted to enter and chat. That was his time to release his pain in peace so he could keep a calm head the rest of the time.
He’d always harbored a secret torch for Kimberly despite it being Skull who always asked for dates and kisses. Bulk knew now it was a way for his best friend to secret away his true pining even from himself. Eugene always had a fondness for the Blue Ranger after saving him at the mall; at one point he’d mused to Bulk if it was possible to love someone you’d never really met, to have a strong connection to a faceless person.
Bulk wished everyone involved in the whole sordid mess had just sucked it up and been true to themselves: Skull’s love for Billy and/or the Blue Ranger (when he didn’t know they were one and the same), his own love for Kimberly, and potentially Tommy’s longing for Jason Scott.
What a fucked up, hot, dumpster fire of an ordeal!
Then Kimberly again returned, this time not as herself not the fearsome Ranger Slayer. An angry mob surrounded her, calling for her execution; some even threw rocks at her which she made no attempt to deflect. She curled before the crowd, like a new nestling, small, pink, and blind.
Until Bulk swooped in like an incensed hawk, stepping in front of her with his large arms spread wide.
“Enough,” he had bellowed deeply, eyes flashing. “She said she was under Drakkon’s spell!”
“LIES!” someone yelled, throwing another stone.
Bulk easily deflected it and took a menacing step forward.
“The next person who throws a rock is getting it stuffed up their ass!” he warned, jabbing a finger. “If anyone has a problem with her, you are going to deal with me.”
Turning, he knelt and pulled Kimberly into his arms, helping her to her feet.
“Drakkon’s dead,” she murmured softly into his neck.
“What?” he asked in shock. “Dead? For real?”
Kimberly nodded, her body weak against the strong frame of the former bully. He hugged her tightly then and suggested the only thing he could think of.
“Let’s get some food in you. You’re about to fall over!”
He scooped her easily into his arms and shoved his way through the stunned and angry group. Trini and Zack watched as he entered the shelter, they called home, cradling the exhausted brunette. They stood silent while he deposited her into a chair and set to work preparing a delicious smelling stew.
Kimberly hugged her arms around herself, shivering and not just with the temperature. It was a deeper cold than she could explain. Of course, Bulk noticed and paused his preparations to kneel beside the woman’s seat.
“You’re ok now, Kim. You’re safe,” he whispered gently.
Shaking her head, tears beginning to well for the first time in years, Kimberly responded.
“I’m not ok, Bulk. The things I watched myself do and say…. And I’m so cold.”
She shuddered heavily.
“I don’t think I can ever get warm again.”
Bulk stood and slid strong protective arms around the love of his life.
“Well, that’s what I’m here for, Kimmy. I’ll keep you warm. Until you’re able to do it again yourself.”
Now the floodgates opened, the damn broke and all the swirling, frothy, turbulent swell surged forth in torrents while Bulk’s embrace held her steadfast in the hurricane of buried emotions.

Red Ranger:
Name: Alex Moreno
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Height: 5’10
Nationality: Cuban
General Appearance: An athletic build with tanned skin and a short bob of black hair, Alex usually wears red t-shirts with jeans and a black jacket, though often feels fit to swap it out with red themed sportswear.
Personality: Alex is an extremely passionate person when it comes to doing the things she likes, this applying to her duties as a Ranger as well as she sees it as her duty. She’s often a source of inspiration for most of her fellow Rangers due to this sheer determination and many of their battles are won through her desire to never give up.
This fire has made her a target for many of the MaliBeasts in the hopes that defeating her can break the Ranger’s spirits. Alex herself doesn’t think much of this, as she claims most MaliBeasts don’t scare her.
Most of her problems tend to stem from her own teammates, Takeo in particular. Whenever someone talks back to her, Alex can’t help but take it as an insult. She is only angered further by Takeo, who flat out ignores her commands at times and has frequently led to the two butting heads.
Despite all how angry she can get in an argument, she often finds herself regretful about it afterwards. Regardless of how well she actually does, she’s extremely self-deprecating whenever she makes even the slightest mistakes, often wishing that she can just snap her fingers and become the perfect leader.
Abilities and Equipment:
Typical Ranger Skill and Enhanced Physical Capabilities
Draco Breath Sword: A broadsword that allows Alex to channel the element of Fire.
Great Slashing Blaze: A single strike that sends a projectile slash of fire towards the opponent.
Dragon Hearth Slam: A slam to the ground that causes an eruption of fire.
Blazing Talon: A thrust that creates a fiery extension to the blade, increasing its range.
Dragon’s Mighty Roar: A powerful beam of fire erupts from the tip of the blade. This technique usually follows directly after Blazing Talon.
Zords:
Dragon Cryptizord: Her primary Zord for the entire story. In addition to flight, fire breath and powerful physical attacks, it makes up the chest of the Myth Master Megazord and its wings detach and combine in order to make the Banisher Sword.
Oni Cryptizord: An Auxiliary Zord acquired midway through Season 1. This Zord changes into a Kanabo for the Myth Master Megazord to use, changing it into the Blaze Basher Megazord.
Elemental Cryptizord: A Zord that is acquired midway through Season 2, but remains erratic and disloyal up until the Season 2 finally, after which it is released. A powerful Zord with sheer strength is on par with the Myth Master Megazord. It is capable of using any of the seven Ranger Elements and once combined with the Myth Master Megazord, it forms the Grand Emperor Ultrazord, the same Ultrazord that the original Mythic Rangers used to drive back the Great King Umbrax.
Phoenix Cryptizord. A Legendary Auxiliary Zord thought destroyed during the Rise of Skrya that’s acquired by the Season 3 finale. In addition to speed and powerful blasts, it can combine with the Myth Master Megazord to form the Great Guardian Ultrazord.
Trivia:
Prior to becoming a Ranger, Alex was friends with Geoffrey and Kris. She also had a rivalry with Takeo.
Her primary hobbies prior to being a Ranger included sports of various kinds and growing her own personal garden. She also used to fish, but wasn’t able to keep it a consistent hobby once she really got into high school.
Alex is an open bisexual.

character introduction: avhust/august (she/her)
Tumblr media
my first character, and one of my commanders! she was born into a very large family, only some of whom she's related to by blood - they have a tendency to adopt first and ask questions later, a trait august inherits.
she's a ranger at first, but due to a series of mishaps once she joins the pact*, she prays to wolf until he grants her the healing power of a druid. she splits commander duties with caomh, who she met in the priory and immediately took under her wing. (if she hadn't, she would have just killed him for being an annoying little shit, and gixx has a pretty strict No Murder policy.)
*the "mishaps" are "i walked away from the group of highly trained soldiers and their marshal for THIRTY SECONDS and when i turned back around all of them had been laid out by one (1) risen knight." which happened to me when i played level 80 quests for the first time. please save her

W I N X for the letter prompt for Connor and Trent
Wingfic: When a person reaches 13, they grow wings as a reflection of their soul. For Conner, this is no problem; he's never been traumatized without getting help and he doesn't suffer from neglect or low self-esteem. And to show it off how good he has it, his wings are a glistening spectacle of brazen blood red with brown clustered highlights at his joints. Trent, however, rarely shows off his wings, especially only after just joining the team, and with the whole mess with Mesagog being found out as his father. When he finally did trust Conner enough to show them, they were a pale, muted mess. What once had been shining white and black tern's wings had faded into a tatty mass of unkempt feathers, a sort of dust settling over them in Trent's anxiety and depression; some important bits that helped him fly had also come undone. Needless to say, when Conner finally got over himself and saw how much Trent was hurting, he immediately went to town preening him and building his confidence back enough to at least a happy medium of where Trent could fly again. Intoxication: After everything--the Rangers, high school, college, a nervous breakdown that came out of nowhere--Trent was put up with multiple doctors, who gave him multiple drugs. A lot of them didn’t do anything to make him feel any less...less...about himself; but several of them did get him high. He painted Anton’s house magenta with sunset highlights and wrote that graphic novel he planned as a kid with a snowy owl and a purple unicorn in thirty-eight hours one time, even. Conner...has had beer. After a match with his sport’s team at college went well, and then immediately puked his guts out. Not worth it to try anything more than that. New AU: So...The Power Ranger thing never happened, but Trent had to make it on his own when Anton refused to pay for art school, and Conner had to make a better living than what he could afford working at as a barista when he suffered an injury his first year on a major league team. Through trial and error, their friends (Kira and Ethan, Cassidy and Devin) set them up to do work in the porn industry together as live cam-boys. They actually became exceedingly popular among fetish circles that like power fantasies of Trent topping Conner with something of a darker persona; and Conner got his props for being able to deadass lift Trent into the air and doing a standing sixty-nine on command. X-Ray: When Trent was evil as the White Ranger, he did have time and tide to watch the Rangers from afar, though none of them nearly as much as Conner out of his suit. Often after taking time to wash off after a sporting event in the communal showers where the White Ranger could not be heard, could not be seen. Sometimes he’d even get himself off at the display under the soap and water back home in the privacy of his own room and the safety of his own mind. Conner...is actually missing the baby toe off of his left foot. Nothing bad happened to cause it; he just never developed it in the womb. It doesn’t bother him, but he wished often that people didn’t make such a big deal out of it every time he had to take his shoes off for practical reasons among new people. Questions that got annoying and boring after a while made him almost gag. Trent, after they started dating, never asked about it, but he did find it interesting enough to ask if he could sketch it once--but not in a fetish kind of way. More like Da Vinci dissecting dead bodies and sketching them for people to look over centuries later.

The Duneraiders Culture
Values: The felines of secrecy and shadow, they value Stealth, Cunning, Strategy, and Adaptability.
~Based on leopards and manticores~
Ranks
A Chief is the face of the guild, their word is final as the founder's law.
Delagate - the second command of the guild. Tasks include things such as being charge of setting up patrols and deciding elite cats, and on occasion helping peace talks
Elites are the next highest with Otacustes under them. Elties are - one of a special rank who who are in charge of maintaining order; typically, can be chosen as a delegate, while Otacustes are the ones behind the scenes of the guild. They are trained to scout for information and to kill at any means necessary. Typically cats of the elite as well.
Clerics and Augars are around the same authority of rank.
Positers and Fabers are around the same however there is a splint. Positers are the construction cats. The ones who help keep the camp in shape and re-enforce the walls. Fabers are cats who excel with using their paws and claws to craft all sorts of things such as nets and traps
Gladiators are the cats trained to excel in fighting process. Looking for new tactics and tree running techniques.
Lēohts are the cats who operate during the daytime. They patrol and guard the land in careful steps in the daylight.
Veterans are retirees who have given service to their guild and have earned rest.
Trappers - the primary hunters of the guild. They operate with more crafty ways to obtain prey such as using traps.
Nurses and Rangers typically are put in the same authority rank.
Succession of the Chiefdom
Passed from bloodline. However, it is not linear. A cat can challenge the current bloodline to put theirs at the top, once defeated, that bloodline is blocked.
Only the most powerful lines may prosper.
Native Prey
The land is marshy yet dry at the same time. This leaves room for many sorts of animals to to found.
Frogs / Toads
Lizards / Salamanders
Woodpeckers
Dragonflies
Beetles / Worms / Grubs
Trading
The dry land may not offer much but it does still offer things to the ones living as well as supplies from there.
Reptile skins and scales
Eggs
Mud
Decoration
Scars are viewed as marks of stupidity. Many try their best to remain as unmarked as possible. The worst scar one can get is one on the face or chest.
They don’t often don themselves with accessories. It gets in the way of being sneaky and shadow-like.
Their ears are typically cut to deal with the harsh territory, cut by the cleric.
Body Traits
These cats have small frames. They are the smallest of all the guilds.
Small paws
They either have short, bobbed tails or longer tails with a sharp prick at the end.
Decent sized wings, used for gliding.
Heterochromia is common, especially complete heterochromia.
Their small paws typically have unsheathed claws, unable to sheathe all the way.
They have narrowed eyes even when relaxed.
Spines that grow from the back of the neck, usually two, rarely four
They have long upper canines and sometimes lower canines.
Fur tends to be thin and often missing fur or patchy.
Naming Conventions
Their names typically involve their surroundings. Often also include some crude humor with their promotion names.
They also partake in their version of legacy naming. If a guildmates dies, and litter is born, a cub shall be given the name of the fallen.
Religion
Just as religious as the Meadows, some would say even more so. They see themselves as more connected to the stars due to their founder and Sirsha’s closeness, especially during after the war when they were practically banished from the day.
Their patrons are the Leopard, Jaguar, and Sirsha.
Holy Days
Sirsha’s Gleam is a prime night of activity. The time to celebrate the seniors and loved ones of since passed. The main opportunity for partners to be bonded under the eye of the beloved moon.
Shadowed Night - A night when their founder and Sirsha are together and display a night of trust to them. A judgement of what they will do without their watchful eyes.
Courting / Bonding Habits
Romance is few and far between with most cats coupling solely to bare the guild young however that’s not to say it doesn't happen.
Courting varies such as hunting and fighting. A romantic might bring their desired partner in a private area with fireflies.
Pairs are joined during the full moon, where Sirsha and their founder’s eye is full. To not be joined during the full moon is said to lead to a failed bonding.
Very encouraging to polyamory
Family dynamics
Cubs are weaned at 2 months old at the latest. Cubs are encouraged to start trying small bits before then to become more self-sufficient.
Bonds between siblings, especially ones between littermates are said to be the strongest.
Parental bonds aren’t the strongest, but it isn’t discouraged.
Death + Burial
Kin of the fallen (blood or found) are allowed witness the safe passage of their loved one’s journey to the stars.
The bodies is left to the dark birds, to give back the cycle. Bones are collected and cleansed. Skulls are kept and carved while teeth and claws are passed to the kin of the fallen then to rest of the guild so the fallen may continue to contribute to the guild and their way of life.
The remains are slathered with pine sap and are taken to the Rika’s Tree where the roots slowly entrap them and it becomes one with it. The leaves and fruit of the tree is sacred and to take or stars forbid, eat it, is to spit on the gods, your ancestors, and to damn yourself to agony beyond the grave.
Other Information
These cats look like their close to death and it baffles the younger cats from other guilds that these cats keep living.
Toms aren’t barred from the position of chief or second, but they have a long history of being led by mollies that it’s shocking when a tom rises to chief.
They tend to have a dark sense of humor and don’t realize they are being creepy to an outside perspective.

The training of the first U.S. Navy pilots in the TH-73A is underway
Fernando Valduga By Fernando Valduga 10/24/2022 - 11:00 in Helicopters
U.S. Navy Naval Aviation students assigned to Air Training Wing 5 (TAW-5) at Whiting Field Naval Station (NAS) in Milton, Florida, began advanced helicopter training with the service's new Leonardo TH-73A Thrasher helicopter.
The training began in early September with the 8 Helicopter Training Squadron (HT-8) leading the transition of students and instructors. Before actually flying the new helicopter, the initial group of 12 students will go through a rigorous basic course in virtual reality and flight simulators that will prepare them for the most powerful helicopter.
Tumblr media
“The training of students at TH-73A took years, and I am excited on behalf of everyone who helped us get to this point,” said the commander. Annie Otten, commander of the Helicopter Training Squadron (HT) 8. “I am especially excited that the HT-8 "Eightballers" are helping in the transition of students and instructors to the new aircraft. We are all together on this journey and I can't wait to put the students on the aircraft."
Tumblr media
The Thrasher is a replacement for the over 40-year-old Bell TH-57 Sea Ranger, which currently provides basic helicopter training and advanced instrument flight rules in Whiting Field.
NAS Whiting Field accepted the first TH-73A in August 2021 as a replacement for the 40-year-old TH-57 Sea Ranger aircraft. The TH-57 Sea Ranger provides basic helicopter training and advanced instrument flight rule training for hundreds of aviation students per year at NAS Whiting Field. The current TH-57B was introduced in 1981, followed by the TH-57C in 1982, which will be discontinued when the TH-73A is shipped.
Primary aviation training students initially fly on the T-6B Texan II aircraft, which has a cockpit with glass display. If selected for helicopters, students move to the current TH-57, which has older digital or analog displays.
Equipped with an advanced digital cockpit and visors in the glass concept, the new TH-73A helicopter will make the training of students more reflective of the helicopters of the operational fleet. Before using Thrasher for student instruction, the Navy needed to develop and validate a new program and qualify instructors to fly in the necessary maneuvers and profiles.
Tumblr media
From start to finish, aviation students spend approximately 38 weeks on the advanced training regime in Whiting before forming and moving on to larger operational helicopters in the fleet, such as H-60, H-53 and AH-1 helicopters.

Ideas for a potential Kyuranger - Power Rangers Adaptation
As we know that Power Rangers S30 is Cosmic Fury, whether it’d be kyurangers, kiramagers or something original, Imma post this now because I don’t think this’ll be relevant anymore lol
There are a few ways to circumvent the main complaint for the sentai season, being “too many rangers”
The Gemini - The Futago Kyutama has the ability to clone the target into how many times the user wants. As shown with Lucky when he cloned himself using the Kyutama in question in battle
That would lead some of the rangers having two colors instead of one.
We know Zordon stated that every team must only have one of a single color, at least one of one shade of a color. (Red Ninja Storm Ranger and  Crimson Thunder Ranger - Blue Ninja Storm Ranger and Navy Thunder Ranger)
We have also seen Rangers wield other colors, what better example than Tommy Oliver who has been the green, white, red, black ranger on different occasions
However we still don’t know what the effects/consequences are for a ranger to use two colors simultaneously.
Considering the existence of a master morpher, I doubt there’s one.
Going the cloning route, then we can incorporate the scorpion tail as part of the ranger outfit as opposed to being a part of the ranger’s biology. Like Raptor’s wings when in ranger form
The only rangers who won’t be viable for a clone are the “sixth rangers” of the potential Kyuranger team.
Ryu Commander and Houou Soldier have unique morphers, that’s not at all campy,
Koguma Skyblue’s unique in the height department. We’ve seen kid rangers before, gain height, and it was understandable, however it’d be really jarring for someone so tall to become very short.
Anyone else? They could clone themselves.
Although, I would say both the Blue and Gold rangers have way too unique ranger outfits to justify a different material for their ranger forms.
That would make Red, Blue and Gold be separate characters while the others can be a clone courtesy of the Gemini’s effect.
We can even make Ryu Commander and Houo Soldier rangers share a character.
Although CGI is going to be very heavy.
Another way to circumvent the number of characters it to have Veteran Rangers serve as a mentor-figures that were called back to the front lines.
This was written in the year 2020

Time Travel AU Bulk x Kim 🎈🎻📽
Warning: pure crack to follow. This is NOT factually correct 🤌🏻✨
Rita Repulsa came up with the weirdest monsters at times. Count "Time o'clock" was definitely included in the list. Teleporting into the Angel Grove Highschool in the middle of a projector film-documentary on the lives of legendary musicians was a good idea to show up to, because they got a cut from class, but at the same time, everyone got teleported to different time periods via the documentary, and into various "moments in history".
Bulk found himself, and a certain Pink Power Ranger teleported into what looked like an orchestra. The pink ranger apparently regretted not having paid enough attention in class, because she couldnt place who the director was, whose tune it had been, or any of the musicians. But landing up in ruined clothes on the middle of a stage, large instruments that were probably supposed to record the tunes produced to the sides, and people in immaculate tuxedos and with pristine instruments planking either side.
The Pink Ranger looked confused for a minute, while Bulk’s eyes widened as he realised what tune it was— one of Skull’s favorites— and connected it to one of the most “comical” tunes of all time. He had seen music videos of Tom and Jerry playing to it— there was only one song that could’ve fit the bill… and if Eugene were here, Bulk felt he’d know the name of every single musician there.
The pink ranger told him she was off to find a way to get them out of this timeline, so they don’t have to grow old in this century, and maintain cover while she did. He nodded, and looked around for what he could do. They had been in the stage wings, and Bulk could see the most oppressed player in the entire orchestra, the trianglist, standing in a corner, waiting for the tune to end so he could play his solitary jingle.
The idea was random but it was so funny to him that Bulk couldn’t resist, he quietly punched the guy just enough to knock him out for an hour or so, and took the triangle and made way for the stage. A few of the violins gave him odd glances here and there, but no one said anything.
Not when he chimed the triangle at the end of every single line. Not when they realised he wasn’t even dressed in a tuxedo. Not even when the concert hall’s roof blew over, and an air ship descended, apparently commandeered by the pink ranger SOMEHOW, to take him away.
As he was floating away, though, the director of the orchestra rushed to him, and said the triangle had added a certain “comical charm” to his music, and what sounded like a thank you for… crashing the orchestra, punching a musician and messing up the RECORDED tune…
And if that wasn’t weird enough, coming back to the present, after the other rangers tracked the two of them down and rescued them, they found out Skull had crashed Beethoven’s concert, and snatched the chance to steal a kiss with the man (who was apparently younger and impossible to resist as Eugene stated) before being dragged out by the security guards.
But nothing compared to their Eugene’s reaction when he heard what Bulk had done.
“THE REASON OFFENBACH’S CAN CAN HAS THOSE TINGS IS MY BUDDY BULK?” and then he fainted. Because history of music. Was altered.

A mix of Fallout 4 and Baldur's gate 3 characters. I haven't made that much progress in the storylines for either game, but I *have* made a bunch more characters. :D
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Boss Barracuda (real name Nicole). Getting into middle age she's pretty old for a raider and has seen some shit. Her second in command Sully thought it was time for a younger, smarter and more ambitious person to lead and betrayed her with some of the people of their band he'd convinced to join him. He didn't kill her though, and Barracuda very much intends to show him that she's still got what it takes be the boss. Even if it means joining forces, temporarily at least, with a freakin' boy scout.
Tumblr media
Amber, gnome beast master ranger, for a playthrough where the goal is "Summons for Everyone!" who I have in the party.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Li'xaeth, githyanki wizard. Pays lip service to Vlaakith, but wants to gain knowledge and power by her own skill and means. Does not like how restrictive githyanki society is. Also, since githyanki start with medium armor proficiency, I intend to make a heavily armored wizard. ;)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Nimiel - celestial succubus, infiltrator and scout. Because sometimes the Heavens wants to take a more subtle approach. Best friends with Lauriel, the guardian angel (who is currently in the form of a big, white dog).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lovendia Suvaris, drow cleric of Lolth. Not a very good cleric. Oh she does all the rituals, torture and say all the right prayers, but her superiors can tell her heart's not really in it. She's, frankly, a nerd. She loves studying the natural world; spiders, fungi, plants, animals. Even wild magic and other humanoids. So they sent her on a research mission, where she can't nag her senior cleric about studying spiders and myconids (for the glory of Lolth, of course!) and be less of a disappointment to her mother. The sunlight is a bit of a bother, but so far even getting a tadpole in her brain after getting snatched up by ilithids have been a more interesting four days than the previous five years in her opinion.
Tumblr media

Life's hard for a deep gnome orphan on the streets of Baldur's Gate. Stinger survived though. Although barely sometimes. But she got into a good gang, the Bugs, and got a mentor in an older male who looked after her. (Like really old. 19, or even 20!) She grew up, learned to fight. She had good eyesight and a steady hand, so being the gang's lookout and marksman was a natural fit for her. And then she got snatched up by a nautiloid. Things after that got fuckin' weird.

Rajadi was an erinyes that got on the bad side of Zariel. She got her wings ripped off and was cast into another reality. Frankly, she doesn't mind too much being out of the Blood War, but she really wants her wings back. And to get them back, she has to do enough deeds and/or damage to catch Zariel's attention again. Which is both easier and harder than it seems in a place like the Commowealth of 2287.

Also started a Lae'zel playthrough. Stomping the ilithid to death in the crashed Nautiloid looks especially good with her. :)

Regular show season 7 episode 3 full episode

(And let’s be honest, the fact that Burnham makes time for an excessive number of uniform changes over the course of the episode – four by our count – can’t have helped her cause.)Ĭome the end credits, Burnham has been given the starkest possible reminder that she can’t always save the day. The president acknowledges that, yes, Burnham has luck on her side, but sooner or later that luck is going to run out. In short, for all Burnham’s many strengths, she’s not the right person to command the new starship Voyager, and its experimental Pathway drive. Her decision to abandon the bridge to head out on a spacewalk, along with her complete inability to grasp standard Star Trek mathematics – that the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few – tell Rillak everything she needs to know about the Discovery captain. It’s also Burnham’s chance to take an impromptu crack at the Kobayashi Maru, and it’s safe to say she doesn’t pass with flying colors. Inverted gravity, inoperable doors and an onslaught of frozen methane provide the perfect opportunity for regular Discovery director Olatunde Osunsanmi’s to show off some amazing space action, and he delivers spectacularly with shots of Discovery and the Deep Space station spinning through space in balletic unison. The concept of Murphy’s law – if anything can go wrong, it will – appears to be influencing the cosmic order, as Tilly and Adira beam over to assist. Given Burnham’s history of insubordination and rule-breaking – not to mention her protests against having a politician standing over her shoulder – this is unlikely to be a straightforward in-and-out rescue.Īnd so it proves when Discovery finds a space station spinning dangerously out of control, under the command of an almost comically inept commander.

The mission comes with additional pressure for Burnham, when the president invites herself on board as a not-so-silent observer. Rillak also takes the opportunity to make a sly dig at present-day Earth’s dependency on fossil fuels, and flag the construction of the Archer Spacedock – a fun reference for Star Trek: Enterprise fans. The newly elected President of the Federation, Laira Rillak, is impressed enough to invite them – with the exception of Saru, who’s still helping out as a “great elder” on his homeworld, Kaminar – as guests of honor at the launch of the new Starfleet Academy. For the sake of balance, we also get a glimpse of some of the show’s clunkier tropes – the numerous self-congratulatory glances between shipmates, and the fact it usually takes them seconds to solve a problem that has perplexed others for decades. As the sequence plays out you learn about the post-Burn status of the reborn Federation, get to see most of the freshly-promoted Discovery crew in action (many of them enjoying their new, Trek-standard multicolored uniforms), and a technobabbly solution to a problem with the planet’s magnetic field. I think it’s worth it.It’s effectively a crash course in Discovery, as this race of “butterfly people” – their effervescent wings are a VFX triumph – pursue their visitors with extreme prejudice. The show has a sad but good finale and after nearly 2 full seasons of buildup. Each episode is connected to the next into one giant plot followed by an awesome finale with a sad twist that wraps every characters arc up completely, speeding into their independent lives. The show gets darker as we learn that there is very little chance that they will overcome antipops and break the endless loop of prophetic failed battles in the past. They are faced with a seemingly impossible villain and learn that they’ve been in a time loop repeating for generations. Halfway through, we start to continue the arc of pop’s origin and his connection to the strange planet and his strange powers that haven’t been mentioned since they’ve been shown. Fresh new material and endless content powered by their new plot of becoming space rangers. Eileen is a main character now and every episode is fun and special, and not repetitive. Season eight centers around the new space setting and new characters, learning that they’re all apart of something bigger. These arcs are setting up the setting and plot of season eight. Season seven develops the dome arc, rigby and eileens relationship developed, margret appears more now than she had been while away at school, muscle man and starla getting married and rigby trying to complete high school. Welll I mean, I think seven and eight are the most plotted seasons.
