You couldn't help but smile at the question, adjusting yourself in the chair you hummed softly thinking about a good response,

" I admire him, he and I are polar opposites. He's always smiles. I know when to be serious when it counts. He views his work as play. " You said trying to sound bitter. The image of your golden retriever like lover popped into your head and you had to fight back a fond smile to stay in character for your debut.

You spent the next hour going through the rest of the slide show and talking to chat. Finally ending, your door flung open and your chair was spun around before you were grabbed up off the chair and spun around in a tight hug;

Despite being rivals in your lore, you were the blond mafia boss's lover and you had been with him long before you debuted, hell you've been together long before HIS debut. Of course your friends and co workers knew about your relationship with Luca and they fully supported you, you hadn't made your relationship public so neither the Lucubs or your community knew about you and Luca.

The next year was full of so many fun collabs with Luca and other streamers. You always had so much fun with the other NIJI EN members. Spending time with them both on streams and outside of streams. You remembered being a simple viewer at one point, watching the NIJI EN talents and wishing you could do what they do and be apart of their world (Little mermaid reference XD ANYWAYS-). And not long after Luca introduced you to Tazumi san, you were given an opportunity to audition and be apart of NIJI EN which you jumped at right away. When you were accepted, Luca was over the moon. He couldn't stop talking about it for days and he even helped you get a model commission and helped you write your lore.

There came a day when you organized a goose goose duck collab, wanting to do another collab with language switch ups, You invited Ike, Ver, Vezalius, Enna, Mika, Nina and Reimu and Luca wanted to tag along and watch the game in VC, you being the sucker you are, agreed to let him sit in. And of course you assigned each a language, You would be sticking with Japanese, Ike had Swedish, Ver had Korean, Zali had French, Enna had Chinese, Mika had Indonesian, Nina had Russian and Reimu was given Spanish. Since you had watched the other collab the language switch up was used in, you knew this was about to get chaotic but you were also incredibly excited. Everything was set up and stream started;

" Alright~! Hello everyone! So as you can see, we're doing another goose goose duck stream with the language twist, so would everyone like to introduce themselves in the languages they were given? " You asked with a smile, Ver deciding to start out;

" He said happily causing the rest of the people in the collab to snicker at his enthusiasm.

" Right~! With introductions out of the way, let's get the first round started! Good luck everyone~! " You beamed as the game began.

And of course, as expected, it was complete chaos. There was zero understanding between anyone. You were walking around trying to find a task before stopping, seeing Enna and Nina having some sort of stand off but not understanding a word either woman was saying.

Within a few rounds, Luca finally was able to join into the fun. The new round started, You ran past Ver being chased yelling in Korean by Ike who was yelling in Swedish but of course you didn't understand what either of them were saying. Before running into Luca who was standing over a dead Enna,

" LUCA! 殺しましたか Enna!? (LUCA! Did you kill Enna?!) " You said backing away

" Tahw?! I nod't dnatsrednu tahw ruoy gniyas TVY/N! (What?! I don't understand what your saying YVT/N!) " Luca stammered out, barely able to get through a sentence.

Hearing Luca struggle at getting a sentence out backwards was enough to cause you to snicker,

" 体の上に立つ Luca! 他に誰が殺しただろう Enna?! (Your standing over a body Luca! Who else could have killed Enna?!) " You said quickly going to report Enna's body.

Back in the lobby, voices rung out and everyone was finally able to understand each other, everyone was laughing. Luca walked over to you and spoke,

" BABE! I TOLD YOU IT WASN'T ME THAT KILLED ENNA! " He yelled, faking being hurt

It took a second to realize what Luca had said but when it registered, you looked back to your chat.

Your jaw hit your desk and you couldn't help but nervous laugh,

Both chats were going wild with questions and people squealing over the fact that YVT/N and Luca were a couple. It took a few seconds before the others in the collab realized what happened since you and Luca had gone silent. The rest of the collab was filled with you and Luca trying to go the rest of the collab without looking at the chats, each time you ran into another person in the collab, you could only assume they were teasing you since you couldn't understand a word being said.

The end of the collab came, everyone said their goodbyes and you said goodbye to chat, Luca ran in and hugged you apologizing for outting the relationship during the collab and of course you reassured him that it was okay.

【ANGST, NO COMFORT.】

Petra Gurin x Reimu Endou

Unexpected, but bound to happen. The undead, and the living, who would’ve thought? Two complete opposites of each other, it’s hard to say that them meeting would’ve been near impossible, but not for Reimu and Petra. Despite all their differences, despite how Reimu isn’t even alive, despite how Petra is in fact, alive, despite how they are the complete opposites, it feels as if the two were bounded to life by a red string, never letting go of each other. But everything ends, doesn’t it?

Reimu and Petra has known each other for around 4 years now, within that amount of time, they bonded, and got closer as time grew, and as time grew, so did their love for each other. It’s crazy enough that a ghost had met a penguin girl, but what’s even more crazy, is how they fell in love with each other within months of knowing one another. Soon after a year, Petra finally got the courage to ask Reimu out, and in response, the grey haired girl happily accepted. 

Every minute, every moment they spent with each other was treasurable. The sakura tree dates and picnics where Reimu would always bring sakura themed food for Petra, them having small playful fights under the pink sakura tree. After that, Petra would fall asleep, Petra lying on Reimu’s lap as she peacefully nap, Reimu would frequently be running her hand through Petra’s short, but soft hair, planting small kisses all over her face occasionally. Movie dates, where they’d go together to the movie, hold hands in the cinema while eating popcorn together. Petra’s head would also often fall on Reimu’s shoulder during the movie, but it’s not like Reimu’s complaining. Cooking dates, where they’d bake food together, food fights tend to happen during that time, but what matters is that they both have a good time. While baking a cupcake together, Petra sneakily dipped her hand into the frosting, and licked it to get a taste, which caused Reimu to chase her around the house. Every time, they’d end the day with a fit of laughter and their stomach hurting from everything. Sometimes the food turns out.. inedible, but watching Petra’s laughing figure was keeping Reimu going regardless. After everything, the two girls would then cuddle together on their bed, Reimu’s arm wrapped around Petra’s figure.  Arcade dates, where the two would play shooting games, Reimu tends to rage quit every time she misses a shot, which makes Petra laugh, just to hear Petra’s lovely and tender laugh, Reimu would go out of her way to embarrass herself anyway, and the same goes to Petra. Once, Reimu was eyeing a penguin plushie that reminded her of her beloved. Having seen this, Petra rushed over to the claw machine and was extremely determined to get Reimu the plushie. Despite Reimu’s attempt to stop her, Petra wasn’t budging, and insisted that she will get the plush no matter what. Seeing Petra’s determination caused Reimu to smile tenderly at the girl, seeing Petra’s determined face, and how she would dramatically gasp every time the plush falls out off the claw makes Reimu giggle slightly. 

*As long as Petra is smiling, so will I*

Reimu thought, smiling at every memory of the penguin girl.

*As long as Reimu is smiling, so will I!*

Petra thought, hugging her pillow at night as if it was Reimu.

Everyday was a good day, as long as they’re together, but little did they know that wouldn’t last long. 

…

“Reimu?” Petra spoke quietly, looking to the right side of the bed where Reimu was sleeping last night, only to see it empty, and without a trace of Reimu anywhere. Petra got up instantly and tiptoed to the kitchen, standing next to the counter wearing an apron is none other than the love of her life, Reimu Endou. Petra beamed at Reimu’s figure in the kitchen and ran up to her, tightly embracing her in a hug.

“Petra?! What’s going on?” Reimu said, hugging Petra back tightly as the penguin girl stuffs her face is Reimu’s chest, still hugging her tightly.

“I just miss you, that’s all” Petra’s eyes softened as she looked up to see Reimu’s blushing face, smiling in response.

“I miss you too.. good that you finally got up, you slept in late last night” Reimu huffed as Petra finally releases her from the hug and backed away.

“I just wanted to play a little more valorant..” Petra pouted in response as she took a seat on the table, waiting for Reimu’s food

“Right, ‘a little more’ is 3 hours?” Reimu placed down a dish for Petra, and one for her own. The penguin girl noticed that today in particular, Reimu’s portions are less than usual. 

*Is she eating less than usual?* She thought as Reimu took a seat beside her, glancing at her ever so often.

“Petra, you good? You seem a little zoned out today..” Reimu asked in concern, ruffling Petra’s head with her palms

“H-huh? Oh yeah I’m good, how ‘bout you Reirei? You’re eating less than usual..” Petra replied, pointing at Reimu’s portions

“Hm? Oh no no- don’t worry about it Peto, just.. not hungry” Reimu smiled assuringly as she ruffled Petra’s short hair with a genuine smile, which made Petra undoubtedly worried, but unable to speak up.

…

Later then, Petra finds that Reimu tends to be more to herself and preferred to be alone, which was odd, due to how clingy she usually is. Petra was incredibly worried at this point, but she didn't want to bother Reimu with her overthinking.

little did she know, it was a bad idea to overlook it.

One particular morning, Petra woke up - not feeling Reimu's warmth next to her yet again. The girl got up to walk to the kitchen, expecting to see Reimu there, making her breakfast like usual, yet she was met with another scene.

"Reimu?!"

...

"..Good morning Petra.."

Reimu smiled in pain, clutching her stomach as Petra stared at the ghost girl with widened eyes.

Reimu was fading away.

"What happened?! What's happening?! Are you okay Rei?? W-what the.." Petra exclaimed, running up to Reimu's figure, the ghost girl was lying on the floor, her left hand was.. dissolving?

"Peto.. hi, my love." Reimu smiled as Petra hugged Reimu tightly, setting the fading ghost onto her lap.

"Rei.. will you be okay..?" Petra sniffles, tears threatening to spill.

"I'm afraid not this time." Reimu chuckled painfully, cupping Petra's face with her palms.

"What's wrong..?" Petra uttered, shakingly bringing her hand up to hold Reimu's hand, diverting it off her face.

"I guess.. I'm not meant to be living? I knew this day would come, I just didn't think it would come so soon.." Reimu said bitterly, at this point, even swallowing was hard.

It felt as if a million knives pierced Petra's chest while hearing Reimu's weak and frail voice, Reimu's eyes were full of pain, making Petra start to swallow a huge lump in her throat, her mind were spinning, it felt as if everything that was happening was just a bad dream, a nightmare, if you will.

"I guess this is how heaven is punishing me.." Reimu laughed weakly as her body was fading away by the minute. Petra was staring at Reimu's frail figure speechless, having known Petra for so long, Reimu knew that this penguin girl was freaking out inside.

"a-are you leaving me..?" Petra finally muttered out, her voice shaking anxiously as tears start to flow from her eyes.

"..I'm sorry" Reimu responded with a painful smile once again, her voice cracking as she saw Petra start to cry.

"Petra?"

"Y-yes..?"

"Could I ask you for a small favor?"

"..Anything."

"..Can you end my misery now?"

Reimu said, her voice shaking as Petra stared at her in disbelief.

"Please. This is the last thing I'll ask of you my love.."

"..n-no.." Petra started to cry, tears ran down her eyes as she thought over and over about what would happen if she was the one to end Reimu's life.

"Please, love."

...Petra nods as tears still fall from her eyes, her head was spinning like crazy. Everything still feels like a nightmare, Petra unconsciously moved to the kitchen to get a knife.

stop..

She clenched the knife tightly in her palms, walking over to Reimu smiling painfully, her legs have dissolved already, leaving the rest of her body + her right hand still intact.

please stop.

Petra gripped the knife in her palm as she slowly knelt down on the ground, next to Reimu's body, shadowing over her stomach.

drop the knife.

She towered over Reimu's figure on the ground, kneeling down, holding the knife in both of her palms.

please.

"I love you Petra"

...

Petra pierced the knife down onto Reimu's chest, the knife sinking in deep.

It's over.

Petra shaking held onto Reimu's clothes, she could feel the warmth leaving as Reimu dissolved away. Leaving only her clothes behind.

Holding Reimu's clothes tight, Petra finally snapped.

"no... no!! Please.. please bring her back..! PLEASE!!" Petra cried out in pain as she hugged Reimu's clothes tightly to her body, tears staining Reimu's clothes and her own.

why does it always turn out like this?

"I love you too Reirei..." She cried out in defeat, sinking into Reimu's clothes for the last time.

Nothing was the same after that, Petra didn't have any motivation to wake up without seeing Reimu cooking breakfast for her like usual. Going to any arcades reminds her of Reimu, so she avoided them. Sakura trees would also remind her of Reimu, so she swore she'd never go out on any sakura dates. At night, Reimu often keeps her warm and safe, but now, the other side of the bed feels cold. She feels incomplete without Reimu beside her.

Yet again, she hugs her pillow tightly at night, as if it was Reimu. But this time, she's never going to feel Reimu's warmth ever again.

she's gone for good.
