reasons you ship jeyna? :D maybe your second PJO/HoO ship??

Well I must say that I'm a very recent Jeyna shipper. I read HoO a long time ago when I was young so I don't think I was able to catch all the complexities of every character, Jason especially.

And then recently I realized that for some reason Jason became interesting to me when paired up with Reyna, and that just kinda sat for a while. I didn't really know why it appealed to me.

But now that I have jumped on the ship and seen some good posts about them, I think I can articulate it better.

"And they were partners-" "Oh my gosh they were partners" So basically I am a sucker for the partners to lovers vibe. (I'm a LadyNoir stan, so obviously.) I love the work-wife / work-husband thing and then all the constantly saving each other's lives, etc.

The tragedy of it all. I mean like I can't handle it- Like Reyna and Jason were so close, they were best friends, they led camp together, and they were totally getting closer and then that's all just ripped away from them. And Reyna's the only one who remembers. And all that past is just erased and that relationship never truly returns. Friendships that just "aren't like they used to be" break my heart. and now he's dead

They're just really similar. They're both very responsible people who always do what needs to be done. I like to think that they help each other carry the constant pressure that's on their shoulders as the leaders of New Rome.

They're past. They have a past. They're literally the Roman parallel to Percy and Annabeth. They went on quests together. They've had similar experiences and they've grown up together. There's a certain bond that's made through that which I love.

And I think that's all I can think of at the moment. I'm sure there are other reasons.

As for another PJO/HoO ship I love... I mean... not to be basic here, but Percabeth? They're great, just a wonderful ship. The perfect slowburn, the best, they're my favourite, I love them <3
