The Walt Disney Company Scores 12 Show Nominations Across All Animation Units For 50th Annie Awards.

ASIFA-Hollywood has just released nominations for its 50th Annual Annie Awards recognizing the year’s best in the field of animation. This year, the ceremony is scheduled to be held live, in-person on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at UCLA’s Royce Hall.

i have a counter argument to the 'only one person can boop bill' thing, mabel. she's the type of person to slap stickers on people, she would definitely be the type to also boop others occasionally and bill would be no exception. she probably doesn't do it to annoy bill like dipper would, but maybe as a form of a friendly gesture, kind of like those people who will lightly punch friends in the arm when they hang out.

You know what? Good point. Mabel would get away with more than most, as a fun-loving lady! Bill understands those impulses, and being a touchy person! He indulges in similar ones himself.

Though when Bill's not in the mood to be playful and gets booped anyway? The 'sister-in-law' status grants her considerable grace.

3:35 to 4:10 in Levitate is so unbelievably comforting to me. In the best (and worst) way possible, it truly does feel like levitation.

The best way I can describe it is laying in someone's arms, lover, friend, foe or family, and simply basking in the comfort they give you. One arm wrapped, gently, around your middle, fingers tracing invisible patterns on your clothes, and the other hand softly combing through your hair as they whisper soft nothings in your ear. You're on the brink of sleep; half listening to their words and half being drawn in by the comfort of the drowsy void.

Leon fun fact I never found a way to write into yesterday (it was so far away): This man knows a lot of sea shanties. Like. A LOT of them. The reason for that is simple enough; finding a way to listen to music in the middle of the apocalypse was hard sometimes. Most devices were broken, the same with a lot of cassettes, vinyl records, CDs, and other things. So... when Piel was still alive, he thought them the songs he knew. Those were sea shanties.

So now what this means is this; sometimes Casey Jr. will sometimes request a sea shanty instead of a lullaby when he can't sleep-- simply because this was what he heard most often. And also; Leon, now that he can rest and the apocalypse has been prevented, collects a LOT of music. Cassettes and vinyl records most often, sometimes CDs as well-- it was one of the things he missed.

(I do believe I made a post about this before. Looks at my own tags. Okay yeah, I have but fuck it you guys are hearing it again. I love my own fic and I love my stupid headcanons. I also do still love Leon with my whole heart. Squeezes him in my fist.)
