Alrighty peeps, our first book for the club is Beauty And The Billionaire by Jessica Claire.

I’m not working out an inappropriate aesthetic crush on a coworker by writing down workplace romance snippets. Of course not. I have a shifter novel and gym novel and I don’t need another plot bunny to run around my Google Drive files like some sort of maniac. The last thing I need is a new story idea right before NaNoWriMo.

Hi!! I'm relatively new to tumblr and have been trying to incorporate more books into my multi-fandom blog. But I seem to have fallen into three categories: YA Fantasy, Historical Romance, or just those who like to take pretty pictures of their books, which are pretty but I'm looking for MORE...I want to read reviews, funny memes, and just talk about the book world. I read primarily romance, mostly contemporary, dark romance, erotica, Rom Com, etc. Do you have some fav blogs? Thank you!

Um oh margh gawd. I don’t even know where to begin, recommending romance blogs. The tumblr romance community has blossomed the past few months! I’ve been on tumblr over 5 years cough cough close to ten cough and I finally feel like I’ve found a little piece of home.

I will say, most of tumblr romancelandia is into historical romance. So if you start talking contemporary, dark romance, paranormal etc., I am here for that. Let’s start our own club!

I’m having a stressful week. I come home feeling so exhausted each day that I end up going to bed with my laptop straight after lunch. Patronus

Small idea that was prompted to @romancypants by @itslmdee: “Which memory would your characters use to conjure a Patronus? And I’m adding a little something: what would their patronus be?”

1: Oh my god, I love this idea so much.

2: I was just thinking about what my patronus would be the other day lol

3: So this exercise is timely and fun, and I’m super happy to share it!

Freyja: She would think of the day she got out of the hospital and had to start over. There was this one moment, this one tiny stretch of time, where she looked up at the sky (mostly blue, with only a few wisps of clouds), felt the wind on her face, and thought, I can do this--I can begin again. That moment was like a tiny bubble of air that lifted her spirits, reminding her of all the possibilities wrapped up in hope. Her patronus is a hawk.

Kai: He would think of the moment he sat down with Freyja and told her the truth--about himself, his life, his job. Opening up like that wasn’t nearly half as difficult as it was waiting for her to respond, kind of like she held a knife over his chest and he waited to see what she would do next. He wasn’t as terrified as he normally would have been, because for the first time he could be free and open and unafraid. That tremendous rush of relief--and the look he saw on her face--gives this big ol’ softie the courage to keep going. His patronus is a koi.

then there’s this one time i was blocked by a still pretty popular sailor moon blog because she started posting all her anti-choice shit ON that blog, and i asked her if she couldn’t keep that stuff somewhere else.
