Okay, actually, projection headcanon time:
-Kai has a minor form of rosacea and has since birth, causing his cheeks and nose to constantly be red. He doesn't understand why, but it's only gotten darker and more intense as he aged. This is why he doesn't have freckles anymore: They're there, but not visible due to the red in his cheeks overtaking.
-Jay has blue eyes, yes, but one of his eyes is half brown and steadily turning more brown. It's constantly forming and changing, but stays in a darker tone and around the edge of his iris'. Near his pupil is a more hazel-ish color. This mark used to be nothing but a grey cloud when he was a baby.
-Zane, before figuring out he was rebuilt in titanium, used to get headaches all the time. The only way he could fix them was to lay down and curl up on himself, or barrel through them. After being rebuilt, they stopped.
-Nya has freckles, but rather than being small and in concentrated spots (like Kai's), hers are dark spots that litter her body. Most of them are in lines, and sometimes shapes are created with them, but she used to be embarrassed by the ones on her face and covered them with makeup. Now, being a ninja and practically sweating the makeup off each time she wears her suit, she doesn't cover them up anymore.
-Cole has a minor case of narcolepsy and doesn't know it. He just thinks being sleep and fatigued is normal for the line of work he's in. This is also why, when the ninja find him sleeping and not snoring, they don't bother him and let him rest.

modern au buggy to me is *chefs kiss*
ringleader of a travelling circus- still the same idea but obviously not kidnapping people because yknow. police n stuff
still a sociopath backstage and definitely not a good boss but when he performs hes tries not to be scary. ends up with a lot of children in the audience being terrified but in awe. their parents will never let them see the circus again
still has his cute nose- a combo of lets maybe say rosacea and a bit of rhinophyma that, with some makeup, makes the perfect clown nose. gets insecure when kids in the audience honk it thinking its fake but holds back his rage when he sees how happy they are.
but if an adult says/does anything he might need to scream and throw them out of the tent.
a magician who can... make his body parts appear to have detached! yes! no devil fruit needed. magicians secret ;)
has to dye his hair that shade of blue so sometimes you see his roots- a mousy brown. he also tries dyeing his stubble and eyebrows but you can imagine how successful that is- his eyelashes are on fleek tho with blue mascara
tremendous skincare routine. does commercials for makeup products on tv somehow?
probably a yandere if he has a crush on you- definitely where his insane behavior is shown most
prob does tiktok lives / GRWM's but always ends up broadcasting his abuse of his freaks who bother him on stream
still makes his own outfits. he used to be horrible at it and has a 20 year old sewing machine
he has definitely been cancelled on social media but just keeps posting anyways, #trishapaytas
