I've been a whole lot more consistent with my running this year, and more so now in Hong Kong. I love this for me. I need to remember to not push myself too hard, but to have fun. ✌🏾

I got upset during today’s run. It didn’t start off too well since I’m still feeling the pain and tightness in my hamstrings from Wednesday’s workout. A lot better today than yesterday for sure. * * I have to be honest. I’ve been arguing with my coach for every workout. I don’t understand how to run by feel and the paces he gives me seem not to be quite right with where my fitness is at. Like today he wanted to do 3 x 1.5 mile run. Between 6:25 and 6:35 pace. How does one gage a pace like that. Plus, your GPS watch does not help half the time. And to top it all off two weeks ago I ran 6 miles clocking in 631 pace. So this workout doesn’t make sense to me. * * I also have been wondering if I’m doing too many miles with not enough recovery. I’m always pushing to go further and faster and maybe that is causing issues possibly. No way to know truly because it’s a guessing game. Voltei a sentir o gosto da sensação que a muito tempo eu sabia como era. Há um longo processo de recuperação muscular e tecidos moles que precisam de atenção. Já no SpartanRace, num evento de 15km em Valinhos e na @bravusrace houve as promessas de evolução e nisso eu não desistirei. Possivelmente existam pessoas que não acreditam em recuperações em pouquíssimo tempo. A elas eu digo: nada. Talvez algum versículo bíblico ou frases de impacto comuns de pacifistas eu mande ler; embora não lembrem tanto. Só vejo um futuro pela frente e nele seguirei. Havia um anteriormente: obscuro, horrível, ameaçador e mortal. Escolhi o que me faz ver mais longe e já agradeço a @equipecorrereviver por algumas chances de demonstrações de evolução, além da inscrição do evento. "Me sentindo o #eliudkipchoge" no #breakingtwo" (Só os corredores entenderão) 😏🏃🏼‍♂️42k⬇️2horas A meta era bater um recorde hoje, (53,40 recorde anterior) indiferente do tempo, mas aos poucos fui vendo que o corpo estava respondendo bem. Cheguei no km7 fazendo tempo abaixo de 50' pro final e fiquei animado, mas heis que veio a tão temida subida que abaixou um pouco o pace. No final deu isso aí! Na minha conta deu 50'25" nos 10k, um sonho fazer abaixo dos 50', mas aguardar o resultado final da prova.
