(Chapter 61: The Red Lotus Blooms) The prison made no visual when it appeared back in the mortal world, becoming part of the landscape when it manifested under the earth and snow. Even here, in the South Pole, it would be their secret base. He ascended to the outside and like everyone else was eager to put their perilous journey into the Spirit World behind them. Aang climbed up the latter ahead of Toph and Nagi, opening the earthen lid that once concealed one of the entrances under the lake.
Sunlight flooded in. Wind brushed against the layer of powdery snow on top of the ice. He squinted against the light and the crisp air. Looking out over the vast expanse, the distant mountains, and the otter-penguins sliding across the ice. A rocky outcropping jutted from the ground not far from the Laogai prison, an igloo sheltering underneath it from the wind.
Figures emerged from the igloo, perhaps to investigate the disturbance of the prison appearing beneath the snow and Earth. Three people - first - two with weapons drawn - and his heart swelled when he recognized Sokka, Zuko, and Sangmu even from this distance. Aang jumped straight up and made his way towards them with a laugh and a dance in his footsteps.
A fourth figure emerged from the igloo, one that nearly made Aang stop in his tracks. It didn’t feel real to see her after so long, and he had seen her so briefly in Water Tribe clothes that he almost didn’t recognize her in them. But it was unmistakably Azula.
He didn’t even notice that he had started moving again. They met in the middle between the igloo and the prison. His hands found hers. He’d never known her to be so warm.
She spoke first. “Are… Are you real?”
“I think so,” he said, and then he couldn’t help but chuckle. He’d been about to ask her the same thing.
Azula looked down at their joined hands and he thought back to the night under the plum blossom tree when she had confessed everything to him. The pain that was in her eyes that night was written all over her face again. “Aang, I… I’m so sorry. For everything that’s happened, and…”
“That doesn't matter,” he said, catching her gaze again. Her words trailed off. “I’m waiting so long to tell you that I love you, too.”
Her mouth parted in surprise as Aang closed the little bit of distance between them by pressing his lips to hers. When her arms wrapped around his shoulders, Aang fell into the kiss and didn’t want to trade it for the world.

I tried to be as accurate as possible when making this commission. I know I miss some stuff here and there, but I still think it looks beyond spectacular. I am in love with this story, and I can't wait until it's finally completed. Thanks for the story, Baithin.

Another comic thingy for when I start writing about Yangchen.
I wanted to draw some bison and lemurs too, but idk how yet…
It’s an hc at this point that reincarnated people can suddenly start speaking different languages because of their past lives. They’re singing this song and I only added it because it’s been stuck on my mind the last two weeks.
(I gave up on colouring the inner walls on the arch because it was the last thing I added to this…)

I love when Sokka gets to be a smart guy. How's he doing in 100-years-past-verse?
Universe tag: #The whole Gaang wakes up a hundred years in the past verse
Sokka, Suki, and Sangmu have all just used the power of flight and large animals to bully their way into a conversation with General Weng from the Council of Five. Now comes the hard part. Sokka, with his gift of the gab has to convince General Weng, and then the other generals, that they want to actually help. And he has to sell the time travel story, and also there is the fact that in his timeline, Ba Sing Se took almost another century to fall. He did consider lying about that fact, but his experience, the lies always come out, and then it's a whole mess.
Weng tries to test Sokka on military future history, and Sokka has to confess that he has no idea, since he didn't exactly have lessons on the subject, growing up in the southern water tribe, and after the war was over the nitty gritty of military history was not his first priority of things to learn about, and boy he sure wishes that Iroh had come back to the past with them right now.
Wait, General Weng says. Wasn't Iroh the guy you said almost conquered Ba Sing Se?
Sokka's all like, yeah, but don't worry. He got cool.
Sangmu is watching this all in horror, but Suki, is like, this is fine.
Ultimately, Weng decides that Sokka is probably telling the truth, because if he were lying about this kind of thing, he would probably have like actually come up with a better cover story, or at least had a nice smooth clean timeline to give him. Which means that Weng is going to have to explain this to the rest of the Council of Five.

makes you think about Indivisible for that blorbo meme
gah.
fave/guy i think about most-Either Ajna or baozhai but the latter not for the reason you think. Don't get me wrong her explicit canon competent-disaster lesiban-ness is a godsend, but mostly I think about how she had like. SO much fucking lore that they absolutely never brought up ingame. Like not even her postgame quest touched on it? I seriously don't even know if half of it is still canon.
Ajna..Ajna... I just love her so much and love her as such a flawed protag. You don't ususally see the role of "guy who's earnestly trying to do good but is too small-minded and just makes everything worse" handed to the *hero*. And even less often there's such a mechanical, gameplay type focus on going back and actually fixing all the shit you fucked up. Possibly the only time I've seen metroidvania backtracking be plot-relevant gdxgfdhgdg.
Cute/baby guy- there's a lot of funky little dudes in this but i think i gotta give it to ginseng & honey.... they got the spunk + canon they/them is a treat :') kushi & altun, sangmu [rip], and phoebe [surprisingly] are the runners up. lanshi is disqualified on account of being a dog. that would be too easy.
Underrated-hmmm... probably quadira? i'm gonna be real i don't remember a lot of the minor characters and i had to consult the page to even remember she existed but i remember her being like. a very subtle but very strong presence. she never said much but wasn't she just like....super exasperated by everything going on bc she had her own quest to get back to? i think she was one of those ones i came to like a lot more after the fact
Obscure fave- there are seven posts in the angwu tag and the first four of them are mine. god I fucking love angwu. She is still life goals for me. rude ass little old science lady in 3 layers of cloaks who gets to be a reclusive hermit in her tower all day but is still beloved and respected the world over for her knowlege, accomplishments, and contributions? please god. also her design is objectively flawless.
Problematic fave/meow meow- i mean dhar is THE shoe-in answer here yeah? Like. Good god where do you start with him.
Plinko-....probably also dhar. He's such a little bitch it's so funny when he whines
Superhell- queen mary. Not even for the whole tyrannical dictator moloch thing either her design just pisses me the fuck off [and the slime thing is even worse]
i am ADDING a new one on here that im just going to call MVP, because i want to mention razmi because she was so so so good and well-written. not a lot of Notes on her per se, but god she was just. shes so fucking funny and had such a distinct/unique personality. shes a weird little freak who wound up pulling a SURPRISING amount of emotional weight without it feeling off, and even in being one of the most active/chatty characters every moment with her is a blast and she also almost made me cry.

I think this is the final excerpt for a while. 725 words. The babies are five here. This is a phurba
--
“Gyaltsen woke up to something new this time. Careful steps. Slow. Cautious. Pausing every six to seven steps for four seconds before resuming. Not running. Who was it? Yangchen? She usually ran. Gyaltsen had become so familiar with the way the child walked she recognised her by her steps alone. [redacted]? She rarely had nightmares on par with or as frequent as Yangchen- she had ‘living’ nightmares instead, as the oracles called them- but they were horrible when she had them.
This certainly piqued her interests.
She put on a robe and followed the footsteps.
One, two, three, four, five, six, pause. Gyaltsen stopped and peeked around the corner of the hallway and it’s Yangchen with Cho clutched in her left hand. Right in front of [redacted’s] room. Which… well, it didn’t surprise her, but she didn’t expect it to be Yangchen. This was out of character. She took a moment to observe before intervening.
Yangchen stopped, turned and opened [redacted’s] door. One, two, three, four, pause. A long pause. Yangchen didn’t come back out. Gyaltsen brows pinched. Should she-?
Yangchen came back out. Cho likely got left inside [redacted’s] room because the stuffed lemur toy was missing. Her brows rose high on her forehead when Yangchen pulled a phurba out of her sleeve- where did she get that?!- and continued walking. Quicker than previously and no pauses.
“Yangchen?” Gyaltsen tried and got no response. She sped up when Yangchen turned the corner to catch up to her. “Yangchen?” She grabbed her shoulder. “Yangchen?” There’s sweat at her brow and the dark circles around her eyes had gotten more prominent with her lack of sleep. “Where are you going?”
“…” she blinked at her slowly. One, two. How coherent was she? “I have to find the intruder.” She turned and started walking again. “What are you talking about? What intruder?” Gyaltsen followed her.
“I have to find them.” She said, “my honour. It’ll get back my honour.”
She attempted to grab her, and got swatted at with the phurba. “No.” That- that wasn’t Yangchen’s voice. “I have to find the intruder.” And she took off running. Gyaltsen took a step- The door to her left opened, and a tired Jetsun peeked out of her room. “What’s going on?”
She looked at her and back to the direction Yangchen ran in. The main room. “She thinks there’s an intruder at the temple.” it didn’t surprise her that Jetsun seemed to wake up a little at that. “And is set on finding them.” Jetsun fixed her hair and grabbed her arm. “Come on, let’s-,” a muffled cry from the main room interrupted them.
Sister Jamyang mentioned waiting for Sister Gawa until she got back. So it’s likely that- Jetsun pulled her along with her as she ran.
They stumbled upon Yangchen crying in Sister Gawa’s arms, her hands tightly clutching onto her robes and the phurba discarded.
She heard Jetsun breathe a sigh of relief and she pulled her along as she approached them. Sister Jamyang noticed them. “What happened? Where did she get the phurba?”
“I don’t know,” Gyaltsen started. “She pulled it out of her sleeve and went on about having to find the intruder and her honour. And she swatted at me with it when I tried to grab her.”
Yangchen’s cries calmed to sniffles, and Sister Gawa got up. “Come on, let’s get you to sleep.” Yangchen resisted. “No, I don’t want to-,” Sister Gawa interrupted. “But it’s in [redacted’s] room. That’s okay, right?” Yangchen paused, her eyes wide.
“I’ll sleep Sangmu?”
“Yes,” Sister Gawa nodded. “You’ll be sleeping with Sangmu.” Yangchen laid her head back on Sister Gawa’s shoulder. “Okay…” and they walked off.
Gyaltsen glanced at Jetsun, her brows pinched. “Hey,” she tugged on her arm and Jetsun looked at her. “They always appreciate an extra person protecting them when they sleep.” She looked hesitant.
“They do,” Sister Jamyang confirmed, twirling the phurba between her fingers. “They repay with affection and flat bread with bison cheese.” Gyaltsen got tackled to the ground after classes once with the biggest hug she’d ever gotten by those two.
Jetsun pursed her lips. “I’ll only do it if you come with me.” Sister Jamyang covered her mouth before any sound left and walked off to her room with Sister Gawa’s bag.
“Well, since you asked...”

The Gaang wakes up a hundred years in the past AU
Universe tag: #The whole Gaang wakes up a hundred years in the past verse
1. When we last left off with Sokka and Suki, they were headed north, along with Sangmu, to Ba Sing Se. They know this is going to be difficult. For all the Fire Nation military is tramping around the northwestern Earth Kingdom with impunity, in the lands traditionally controlled by the Earth King, even when Ba Sing Se's power was at a low ebb, it's going to be nearly nine decades before the Fire Nation mounts a credible expedition to conquer the impenetrable city. Ba Sing Se is a tough nut to crack, and they know it. And also they have no idea when the Dai Li became the Dai Li they knew and hated. So they go into Ba Sing Se warily.
2. They have one advantage they didn't expect: Sozin used the comet to slaughter the Air Nomads only a few years ago. It's not only in living memory, it's in very recent memory. And no one knows how the Fire Nation did it or if they could do it again, soon. And bringing an Air Nomad survivor with them makes that point without needing to say anything.
3. So they fly into Ba Sing Se and decide to stay the heck away from any of the checkpoints or gates. Sokka did that once, and it was a nightmare, and they have a sky bison this time, so no. Not doing that again. So they land right in front of the palace, because they might as well just take a stick and whack that spider-hornets' nest right off that tree. Guards come rushing out like, well, like outraged spider-hornets, and Sokka yells down that, yo, they're ambassadors from the Avatar, here to talk to the Earth King, or you know, whoever's actually in charge if it's not the king, about important military matters. Suki just puts her head in her hands.
4. The thing is, they can't arrest Sokka, Suki, or Sangmu, because every time they try, Sangmu just has Sunshine fly them out of reach. Same with when they start trying to hurl boulders at them. It's all enough to make Sokka very very glad the Air Nomads never went on their own conquering rampage. But the guards are determined, stubborn jerks, and it takes a while for them to give up.
5. Finally, finally they send out a man in fancy Generally armor, who sure enough introduces himself as General Weng. "Hey," asks Sokka. "Are you part of the Council of Five?" "Yes?" "Great! You're someone we can work with!"

78 GAMES FOR AGE GROUP REPRESENTATIVE'S ONLY' CHO YOUNG-WOOK LAST COMPETITION
Forward Cho Young-wook (24, Gimcheon), who was named to the "Hwang Sun-hong Ho" for the men's soccer team at the Hangzhou Asian Games, is one of the first players on the team to be capped by age group.
According to the Korea Football Association's records, he has played 78 games for the national team at every age group, starting with six matches for the U-14s, followed by 46 for the U-20s and 26 for the U-23s.
If you include the four A-matches he played for the senior national team last year, he has a total of 82 caps. For him, the Hangzhou Asian Games, with less than a week to go until the first round of the tournament, have a special significance.
"This Asian Games will be my 카지노사이트 last time playing for the national team in my age group," said Cho, who met with reporters before the team's training session at the National Training Center (NFC) in Paju on Thursday.
Hailed as the "next big franchise star" after playing for K League 1 FC Seoul since 2018, Cho has scored 13 goals for K League 2 Gimcheon Sangmu, which he joined this year for military service, making him the league's second-leading scorer behind Lewis (Gimpo-14).
"I have a good pace with my team and my confidence has increased," Cho said. "As a striker, I'm always thinking about scoring goals, and I'm aiming for about three goals at the Asian Games."
He enlisted in the army earlier this year and can get an "early discharge" if he wins a gold medal at the Asian Games."More than that, it's important to play for the team," Cho said, adding, "Korea has won the last two Asian Games, so I'm just thinking about continuing the record."
Reuniting with his 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup runner-up teammate Lee Kang-in (Paris Saint-Germain) is also something he's looking forward to at the Asian Games.
"I keep asking him when he's coming. He is also curious about the team atmosphere and says he will come as soon as possible," he smiles.Depending on when Lee, whose arrival is still unclear, will arrive, the team's tactics and Cho Young-wook's role could change.
"It's true that Kang-In has a big spot, but I'm not thinking too much about it. There may be moves or plays that he can do well, but we are mainly preparing for the team's movements." He emphasized.
