roman, his girlfriend, and that damn waiter in season 1 episode 4 at the charity ball is like the more threatening version of me n my gf saw u from across the bar and we love ur vibe
Alfred does not seem to understand that he's just making Uhtred hate and despise him. Not want to obey nor endearing him to the church at all. I do feel sorry for Mildrith, as being used as a pawn isn't her fault.
my friend and i were talking about how strange it is to see young actors hit puberty in between filming and release so i passionately explained to her about how i am 99% sure that during a scene in good omens s1 where adam and brian were discussing the intricacies of atlantis people surviving with diving helmets on had adam's actor voice dubbed in "that's right" because of how 1) the camera is still on brian and we do not pan over to adam speaking the actual line and 2) adam's actor's voice sounds fairly deeper on that line compared to his voice in the rest of the season and my friend just responds with:
"i think you should put that on the adhd application"
i-
what do i do now.. having received the read of the century. get tested for adhd i fucking guess.
A heart-breaking detail I noticed when I was rewatching episode 4 (as if this episode wasn't already heart-breaking enough) is how Angel Dust looks absolutely horrified after Valentino talks about all the people he's killed.
I don't think it was because Angel Dust was worried he might be killed himself. I think it was because he was reminded of all the other lives that Valentino had destroyed.
I can't bear to think about how much pain and sorrow Angel Dust must feel knowing of all the people who have suffered at the hands of his abuser, and how he couldn't do anything to save them, no matter how much he wanted to.
Just when you thought you couldn't hate Valentino anymore.
sorry its a mess but, ooof, episode 2 was good,
the Goddess, the departure little by little of everyone, their goodbye scene and finally when they arrive and the emotional/physical exposure of what they finally have there - their home etc..., (though we didnt see Amalia's and im sure her returning in her kingdom forest is not going to be...happy) Ruel and Arpagone returning to Ruel's house and him showing his wealth, you expect her to be happy, to be with him, to have that much money he's willing to share but no, (and shes valid for this) shes angry, angry bc she lost time waiting for him, and wasting the occasion of having family, children while him, Ruel got the chance of acting like Yugo's dad....
then the lingering tension you can feel when the Mother is talking to Yugo, her need to be alone with her children, of sending his friends away...very very cool
and the final scene??? who is that??? we can hear the voice of Amalia and we can see an old man meditating, and leaving the place where hes hold 'in captivity' (though not really)??? he looks dope and i want to know mooore!!!
