Still thinking about how strange it feels for the Coliseum to be so full of noise and people and also the fact that at some point that was the norm for this place (and maybe the entire kingdom)

“Did you know that we're all turning softer inside? We can save what is pure if the hearts can collide, all that I've ever known is the universe is wild.”
After the 2nd quest, here is Mindful Miner, dancing with their emote among jellyfish! I genuinely loved the 2nd quest too, the storytelling was awesome and I love how the miners learned to respect the jellyfish. Since they’re a miner I wanted to give this spirit a bit more of a buff build and it’s been a great excercise. They give me the vibes of a strong and reliable person.
I hope you’ll like this, and thank you so much for the amazing feedback on the Running Wayfarer!

wait aurora being megabird makes the concert so funny because it’s like god came down to earth and decided to do a stadium show 😭😭😭
Look at me.
I am looking directly into your eyes.
Autism stare engaged.
Song has been associated with creation and emotion and memory and power in many ways for a very long time. From the angels in the bible singing praise to Middle-Earth to Aslan and Orpheus and the Pied Piper and even the Hunger Games trilogy, the power of a song is not something to be taken lightly.
She has been watching us go through the eternal cycle of death and rebirth for an unknown length of time. And she watched her first batch of creations destroy the beautiful world she had given them for an ADDITIONAL length of possibly forever BEFORE that.
How long do you suppose she has wanted to speak to us? How long has it taken for her to come and see us? And what does she see? A stadium full of her own children. What is there to say? What can be said to children she created for the purpose of dying and living again?
The only thing every one of us has wondered at least once. To tell us why. To SHOW us. And how do the Skykids learn? Through memory. We walk in the footsteps of people who have been dead for possibly millennia. Why?
Because we see them. Because we see the light and we return it. Because they SHINE. Lanterns and Winged Light and Spirits and candles all glow. How else would you expect her to gather us together? We've been shown to flock to light and song. It's how she draws us to her in Orbit. Why should that change here? A spectacle to draw us in.
And how else would she share the joy she feels? How else is she going to give us even a fraction of how proud she must be? How happy it must make her to see the world she made full of life and light and color again? With what makes us joyful. Light and color and music. The show isn't for her. It's a gift to US.
Tl;dr
If the creator of all things graces us with their presence, would you expect anything less than the most joyous spectacle the world has ever known?

And all this time I have been lyin', oh, lyin' in secret to myself.
I've been putting sorrow on the farthest place on my shelf, La-di-da 🎶
Running Wayfarer spirit from Season of Aurora. The first quest broke me as if I didn't already get emotional enough every time I listen to Runaway. It's such a gorgeous song and the quest was incredibly fitting.
I wanted to draw the spirit giving a little kiss to the light sphere as they do in their emote, I find it a very cute detail somehow. Can't wait to draw the next spirit, stay tuned! 🥰
