We normally don’t rescue younger dogs unless they are physically a special needs case or trauma related injuries. When we were contacted about this little lady, Miss Molly, a sweet tiny chihuahua/dachshund mix in a shelter with stage 3 renal failure, we couldn’t say no. It’s rare for a young dog to be in renal failure. She is spending the day at Landrum Veterinary Hospital for testing and evaluation. Once Dr Parker finds out what’s going on to cause the renal failure we will know what the treatment will need to be. Hopefully it’s something that will continue to help her heal and come back from this. Once she is stabilized and is able to physically have surgeries she will be scheduled for dental and spay surgeries. Please keep Molly in your prayers. We are doing everything we can for her.
