When it was time for Emma's and Niall's birthdays, they decided to host a double birthday party for their combined family and friends. It was a huge celebration, so much so that they had to add chairs to the table, and even then, there were not enough places to sit. Thankfully, during the party, every one was constantly on the move, viewing the house, helping with food, and entertaining Louis, so nobody missed out in the end.

The party was great fun to be had for all. It was so much fun, in fact, that Emma had barely noticed that one guest was missing from the group.

Спустя несколько дней моя подруга Стейси позвонила с предложением посетить очередную вечеринку на которой ей так хотелось побывать. Вечеринка проходила на утесе. После учебы я стала выбирать в чем пойти туда. И решила не заморачиваться, а идти в повседневной одежде. Не очень хотелось наряжаться.

A few days later, my friend Stacy called with an offer to attend another party that she so wanted to attend. The party took place on a cliff. After studying, I began to choose what to wear to go there. And I decided not to bother, but to go in casual clothes. I didn't really want to dress up.

Приблизился вечер и вот мы едем к месту откуда нам нужно будет пройти еще до утеса. Зайдя на вечеринку мы не много выпили, обсудили возможные перспективы работы Стейси, на её новой работе. Присев на не большой камень, мне стало как то не по себе. Хотелось сбежать с этой вечеринки. Будто здесь какая то не здоровая атмосфера. Встав с камня посмотрев на подругу, погрузилась в свои мысли еще больше и побрела к самому обрыву утеса. Стоя там размышляла как устала от всех этих вечеринок, учебы и каких то не понятных отношений с Бобом. Я кардинально решила менять свою жизнь. Это будет еще одна маленькая но очень интересная глава в моей жизни.

Evening has approached and now we are driving to the place where we will need to go even further to the cliff. When we entered the party, we didn’t drink much and discussed Stacey’s possible job prospects at her new job. Sitting down on a small stone, I felt somehow uneasy. I wanted to escape from this party. It's like there's some kind of unhealthy atmosphere here. Rising from the stone, looking at her friend, she plunged into her thoughts even more and wandered to the very cliff edge. Standing there, I thought about how tired I was from all these parties, studying and some kind of incomprehensible relationship with Bob. I decided to radically change my life. This will be another small but very interesting chapter in my life.

В дверь позвонили, открыв на пороге стоял курьер. Отдав мне письмо, мы распрощались и я закрыла дверь. В письме не было указано от кого оно, адреса отправителя так же не было указано. Открыв его я стала читать.

The doorbell rang, revealing a courier standing on the threshold. Having given me the letter, we said goodbye and I closed the door. The letter did not indicate who it was from, and the sender's address was also not indicated. Opening it, I began to read.

“Do you know, brother? She still hasn’t responded,” Kolya spoke up, feigning some degree of nonchalance. Sasha took his attention from his cravat for a moment to give his brother a confused look.

“Who are you talking about now?”

“Sonya! She did not respond to the letter I sent last month, nor the letter from last week. If I knew no better I would think she is tired of me.”

“She came to her senses, then.”

“Don’t joke, don’t be stupid!” Kolya sighed. “It is a serious matter, Sashka, I worry for her.”

The evening passed most uneventfully. He hated to admit it, and he certainly would not wound his mother by telling her, but Kolya was sick of her parties. Each one was a terrible bore of its own kind, and none of the guests were anyone he even wanted to be with.

The youngest Chirnitsyna, Marie, she and her mother were there every time, and Kolya always found himself being left to speak to the daughter, who in his personal opinion was quite the unpleasant girl.

But he knew he was wrong. It only took a moment to realize—who was right? His mother, the angel, or he, the miserable wretch?

How to set up the FUN party in the sims? 🎉

Questions to ask yourself

What is the event?

Who's invited?

Is there a theme?

Where is the party located?

What's the age of the sims?

Who is this party for?

Do I have to do any CC shopping for this event?

Do I need to download a mod for this party?

Gameplay Tips:

Take advantage of the seasons calendar to set up the event. Example: party spirit tradition, sims will do autonomous interactions that show they're feeling festive. Example: Give Gifts tradition, sims will give you gifts If you want sims not to work during the event, you can click for them to not go to work that day too

Set up VFX, if that's what your party needs [RVSN mod]

Create a menu for your sims, and prepare the food a day in advance

Consider sim's lifestyles. Is a sim a vegetarian, or lactose-intolerant? Are there any kids to give them pizza? Is there a junk food lifestyle sim you want to give them something greasy?

Buffet Table [use bb.moveobjects] to get more slots available

Set up Cannons in correct placement aligned with where you want your sims to celebrate

Have a recovered copy your save, if you don't want to go through the mess of cleaning/removing build mode objects. Not only that, but sometimes, you may need to film again. If you save before the party starts, you can keep replaying the party until you get the party you want (hope this makes sense)

The baby shower event from growing together, sims give the host gifts autonomously and sims celebrate properly when the cannon is fired

Set up cannons from growing together expansion pack, in a correct placement that is aligned with where you want your sims to celebrate accordingly

MWS wedding events are perfect for events you need sims to follow your instructions such as "dance" "gather around"

Steady seat is perfect for seating arrangements

Have a photoshoot area ready, if the party needs it, so you can pose your sims. I recommend custom pose shopping in advance, but after the fact isn't bad either; just don't delete the copy of your save until you've completed that.

Place gameplay objects you need for the party around the lot. Example: If it's a birthday party and there's space, have the pirate ship "rented". You know how parents add bouncy castles and stuff for events? Think of it like that.

When it comes to arranging the table, have your sim add the placemat from parenthood around the table. Sometimes, your sim may not be able to add the placement, you can go into build mode and move the placement to the one your sim couldn't and go back into live mode and have your sim do it all over again until every spot has a placemat. If you have better-build-buy mod, you can copy the debug object yourself and place it around.

When it comes to decorating and you are having issues with slots, I recommend OMSP. It is explained in my video at 28:18♥

If you're having a dinner party, have your sim "pick up serving" for drinks and food, your sim will place the food in their inventory and you can place it yourself around the table. Perfect example to see this is Joy of Life Legacy challenge when my sim had a Winterfest dinner party (33:26)*

Don't forget to add kiss of freshness lot modifier on your lot, so food doesn't expire

Place the food over the placemat, and have their drink to their right side.

Zero's drinking mod works like placemat where your sims can place drinks around the table. There's age appropriate drinks too like juices and sodas for child/teen sims.

The Sims 4 gallery contains rooms where there's food for your sims and if you didn't have time to cook. Miss_frogstar has a bunch of rooms for your sims that contain food. It's really detailed for you.

Have a serving table, if your party is meant to have a lot of guests and food. It takes the load off you, when you don't have to worry about table slots for larger events.

Create sims you can hire for events. Think of these sims like Nurse Joy from Pokémon. You can have this sim be a townie in all your saves. Cheat their skills and hire them for events/set their outfits.

Lock them doors LMAO! Sims love to misbehave and go everywhere, so it's easier to have them be in certain areas by locking the door of the rooms you don't want them to be in.

I also recommend saving the party decorated home in your gallery, so you can just place it again in the future and remix it to how you want it

Sometimes you got to combine different events to create the atmosphere you want in your game, so don't be too hard on yourself, if you feel like it's not going how you want. We all know parties in the sims isn't perfect at all

And then I noticed how glowy Alice was getting and was like “Okay, Alice, YOU go out for Zoomies and get your Fury back down again instead -- try to be back in time for midnight, okay?” :p Look, she’d already used up her Somber Howl, and she didn’t have a meditation stool with her -- and who knows how good that would have been in the club? Much safer to send her running all over the town to work that Fury off.

Anyway, with her off, I directed most everybody to come down and start dancing again -- Smiler grooved with their robot buddy, while Victor actually managed to be a bit social and chat with Davion, Leslie, and Cletus! He even initiated a nice New Year’s toast for everyone to enjoy, right as Alice came back. He then wandered upstairs with them to watch some more TV while I had Smiler show off some of their sweet moves to Alice, including a pretty damn epic backflip --

And then I looked at the time and went “OH SHIT THE COUNTDOWN!” D: Yeah, I’d gotten so caught up in Smiler’s partying and showing off their moves, I hadn’t realized it was almost midnight! I canceled Smiler showing off the Pump-Pop and Alice watching them show it off and sent them upstairs to join Victor --

But it was already too late. Midnight had been reached, and the confetti on the TV had gone off. Alice, by some glitchy miracle, managed to fulfill the “Watch Countdown” tradition by getting to the top of the steps before it was fully over, but Smiler, bringing up the rear, did not. :( Which was sad, as that was explicitly a tradition they loved. Darn it. . .next year, guys, I promise! Fortunately, Victor was willing to give them a big old “Happy New Year” hug anyway. . .

Which made me think “you know what -- Smiler and Alice may have missed the official countdown, but that’s no reason why we can’t do some proper celebrations downstairs!” So I directed them (and Party Time) over to the corner by the bar, where Smiler got a hug from Alice as well, awww. Gotta keep things tight between the metamours!

[Спустя два года]….

Весенним утром кто-то так сильно тарабанил в дверь что пришлось встать с кровати. Открыв на пороге стояла моя подруга Руслана. В руках у неё был торт и много шаров. Ведь сегодня был мой день рождения. Я стала совершеннолетней.

Она поздравила меня, и вошла. Присев на диван она предложила устроить вечеринку. Я не особо хотела, но с другой стороны это мой шанс отвлечься от этой череды гибели родителей. Усевшись рядом с подругой, мы обдумывали какой будет вечеринка. Распланировав все, разошлись и стали готовиться.

[четыре часа спустя]….

Приготовление шло полным ходом. Украшался дом, готовились напитки, запекалась индейка в духовке, готовились салаты. Мне нравилось это. Я вспоминала какой я счастливой и беззаботной была.

Время подходило и вот вот должны прийти гости. Некоторых из них я даже не знала. Это были друзья друзей. Мы отдыхали, пили напитки, ели еду, танцевали, и один из мужчин позвал меня на танец. Я была не прочь потанцевать, возможно кто-то станет моей музой. Мы отправились танцевать. В ходе танца я узнала что зовут его Максим.
