Stryroar/Pynideri to Pyroar is essentially the equivalent of Sinischa to Sinistea

Main influence being the black panther, specifically the ones located in Ethiopia (rarely seen)

Pynideri—> Pyroar + Panideri, the Amharic (widely used language in Ethiopia) translation of panther!

Stryroar—>Pyroar + Strychnos, a poisonous plant not only located in east/south africa, but also in the amazon, certain parts of india, Madagascar, and on this pokémon!

As this Pyroar (replacement name lol) is a female, like female plants, it produces berries through its stem-like mane. These berries contain poisonous seeds filled with Strychnine, a substance now wildly used as (butter tasting!) gastric medicine as well as a pesticide to kill smaller rodent and bug-like pokémon!

Unfortunately, these pokémon are extremely endangered. Being very distrustful of humans as well as elusive creatures, they are rarely ever seen. Female Pyroar have been hunted down and killed for their berries, as there is no other way to obtain a berry from a living one—it would immediately attack and engage in relentless battle.

These pokémon have very interesting methods of hunting down prey! Females lie themselves down on an overhanging branch, such as a real panther would…

and allow their manes to fall, as though it were an ordinary tree branch pulled down by gravity! This creates the illusion of low-hanging fruit, allowing the Pyroar’s prey to pick it off its mane and eat it! The strychnine poison would then cause the pokémon to go into a sort of anaphylactic shock, giving the Pyroar an opportunity to leap down, retrieve its prey, and jump back into the treetops without ever having made a sound.

Ursaluna's Bloodmoon form is wicked cool. Now that's a badass bear mon.

Sinischa I don't really care but maybe I just need another shot of it.

And as the official face for Ogrepon, not crazy about it. But I guess it is meant to be a mixture of the oni and the peach boy.

So not too bad on what's coming, but still not enough to be worth buying the dlc for me.

Are there any Paldean Pokémon that Jules, Falkner and/or Mina vibe with, or have an interest in?

((Oh absolutely.

Paldea added seven new dog Pokémon to the game, and I could see Jules loving all of them (I was going to say except Okidogi, but then I remembered her respect of fighting type AND the Nido family, so poison/fighting is still up her alley). Of that group, I see her liking Dachsbun the most. I'm half-tempted to give her one...

Aesthetically she loves Espathra, but due to it being a psychic-type she can't go anywhere near it without feeling sick, so she'll just have to stick with a plushie version.

If we count Paradox Pokémon, somehow I feel Jules would really like Slither Wing? Like she'd treat it like a giant dog.

You would think Falkner would be a simple answer: all the birds. Except then you remember that Wattrel and Kilowattrel exist, and he doesn't want any part of that. But Quaxly (I want to see him trying to sort life out with a Quaquaval living in the house), Flittle/Espathra, Bombirdier, and Flamigo are all options to add to the aviary.

I left Squawkabilly out solely because I foresee Abe teaching them to swear.

I don't see him liking any Paradox Pokémon, but a Sinischa might find its way to Johto in his bag. He's also very curious about Fezandipiti.

Finally, Mina. Let's get the obvious off the table. She wants six Grafaiai. She loves them. Outside of that, there's of course the Tinkaton line. She would probably also just want a Dudunsparce-the biggest one she can find. And maybe Finizen?

Area Zero is Mina's vibe, both future and past. If she had the chance to go there she'd spend days making art (which might be alarming given no one could contact her). Of the Paradox Pokémon, she'd obviously fond of Scream Tail and Flutter Mane, but also really likes Roaring Moon and Iron Valient. Also bffs with Koraidon.

There's something for everyone, basically.))

I know this is gonna sound crazy coming out of me but listen. My current review of The Teal Mask... is.... that open world games are dick ass doodoo penis garbage trash, but this one is only bearable because its got Pokémons in it. It has all the same problems as the main game but Ogerpon is adorable, and the texture work on the Pokémon is super good, and I love Sinischa and I wish that A) the game ran better, and B) that Toby Fox was at the bottom of the ocean DEcomposing instead of COMPOSING for Pokémon because Oh My God

Straight up I've never called my shot on a future Pokémon game like this before but if he's doing the music for the next one I'm not buying it, I cant take this anymore. He is ruining a mainline Pokémon game for me

Oddish. It's literally a radish pokemon

All Slowpoke evolutions/forms. I mean, even in the games they say that Slowpoke has a delicious tail.

Farfetch'd and Sirfetch'd. It's literally a duck holding a vegetable.

Krabby and Kingler. Crab legs, anyone?

Exeggcute. Eggs.

Tauros. Burger meat.

Mareep evolution line. Yummy lamb.

Sunkern. Sunflower seeds in salt for a snack.

Octillery. Yes, in game the ink is delicious, but also we can't forget the tentacles are probably just as edible.

Stanler and Wyrdeer. Venison is good.

Miltank. Burger meat 2.

Celebi. It looks like an onion.

Torchic evolution line. I imagine it tastes like spicy chicken.

Seedot. It's literally an acorn.

Spoink and Grumpig. Porkchop.

Cacnea and Cacturn. Yes, they are cactus, and yes cactus is edible.

Corphish and Crawdaunt. Red lobster would definitely cook them up.
