Is it just me, or does Merlin's hood (from The Adventures of Sir Lancelot) the same as Merlin's hood (from Knights of the Round Table '53)?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They do look very similar, plus it wasn't uncommon to reuse assets. And the movie was filmed in England, maybe they left some costumes behind?
The Adventures of Lancelot cap was nicked from unwillingadventurer btw

On this day, 8 April 2013, former Conservative prime minister Margaret Thatcher died. Street parties broke out across the UK, particularly in working class areas and in former mining communities which were ravaged by her policies. Her legacy is best remembered for her destruction of the British workers' movement, after the defeat of the miners' strike of 1984-85. This enabled the drastic increase of economic inequality and unemployment in the 1980s. Her government also slashed social housing, helping to create the situation today where it is unavailable for most people, and private property prices are mostly unaffordable for the young. Thatcher also complained that children were "being cheated of a sound start in life" by being taught that "they have an inalienable right to be gay", so she introduced the vicious section 28 law prohibiting teaching of homosexuality as acceptable. Abroad, Thatcher was a powerful advocate for racism, advising the Australian foreign minister to beware of Asians, else his country would "end up like Fiji, where the Indian migrants have taken over". She hosted apartheid South Africa's head of state, while denouncing the African National Congress as a "typical terrorist organisation". Chilean dictator general Augusto Pinochet, responsible for the rape, murder and torture of tens of thousands of people, was a close personal friend. Back in Britain, she protected numerous politicians accused of paedophilia including Sir Peter Hayman, and MPs Peter Morrison and Cyril Smith. She also lobbied for her friend, serial child abuser Jimmy Savile, to be knighted despite being warned about his behaviour. Margaret Thatcher was eventually forced to step down after the defeat of her hated poll tax by a mass non-payment campaign. Pictured: Jimmy Savile welcoming Thatcher to hell, reportedly. The Solitary Cyclist pt 2
Last time we met Violet Smith, Watson was horny on main, she was smart and working as a music teacher in an isolated house being romantically pursued by two mysterious men who claimed to have known her long lost uncle and also claimed that he was dead. One of whom was just openly a dickhead, the other of whom was being creepy in a more socially acceptable manner (a la Mr Rochester).
Then there was a ghost cyclist who was following her down one specific stretch of road over and over again and disappearing.
Oh yeah, and she's romantically entangled with a young man called Cyril, which currently appears to be quite separate from all the rest of the shenanigans.
I have read this before, so I'm not going to speculate because while I can't remember all the details I can remember enough that anything I say will be coloured by my own memories.
Watson, in an unusual display of faith from Holmes, has been entrusted with a solo stakeout.
It had been deserted when I left it, but now I saw a cyclist riding down it from the opposite direction to that in which I had come. He was clad in a dark suit, and I saw that he had a black beard. On reaching the end of the Charlington grounds he sprang from his machine and led it through a gap in the hedge, disappearing from my view.
So he's coming from the direction of the house she works at. I guess it's lucky that Watson got there before him. Also if I ever want to hide my identity, I'll just get a big fake black beard and clearly no one will pay any attention to the rest of my face.
Reminds me of the first episode of White Collar.
This entire adventure is actually very slapstick when looked at the right way. Also super creepy because stalking, but the whole 'coming early, wearing a fake beard, stuffing his bike into the yew hedge, then jumping back into the hedge quickly so she doesn't see him.
She looked back at him and slowed her pace. He slowed also. She stopped. He at once stopped too, keeping two hundred yards behind her. Her next movement was as unexpected as it was spirited. She suddenly whisked her wheels round and dashed straight at him! He was as quick as she, however, and darted off in desperate flight. Presently she came back up the road again, her head haughtily in the air, not deigning to take any further notice of her silent attendant.
Like this bit, pure slapstick humour, even down to her at the end pretending that none of it even happened. Nothing to see here. Everything is under control. Lalalalalaaa.
Tumblr media
However, it seemed to me that I had done a fairly good morning's work, and I walked back in high spirits to Farnham.
Honestly, Watson, I feel like you deserve a prize for not just running in to grab the guy. Although I feel like that might have solved the mystery more quickly. But did you succeed in observing the things that Holmes would want to be observed.
Mr. Sherlock Holmes listened with attention to the long report which I was able to present to him that evening, but it did not elicit that word of curt praise which I had hoped for and should have valued. On the contrary, his austere face was even more severe than usual as he commented upon the things that I had done and the things that I had not.
... apparently not. Poor Watson, just all perked up, tail wagging, thinking he's done an excellent job and patting himself on the back. But no... I hate to say I told you so, but you are a fictional character, so I don't actually hate it that much.
Maybe you should have just grabbed him.
“What should I have done?” I cried, with some heat. “Gone to the nearest public-house."
If in doubt, go to the pub. Or have a cup of tea. Those are the two universal British solutions (neither of which works for me, but I am quite bad at being British in a lot of ways). Or you could have pretended to be a tramp looking for a new pair of shoes, that seems to work for Holmes.
"Well, well, my dear sir, don't look so depressed."
Holmes: Tells Watson very emphatically that he has done a terrible job.
Watson: 😭
Holmes: Why are you so sad???
Holmes can go from extremely emotionally intelligent to utterly clueless in a heartbeat.
“I am sure that you will respect my confidence, Mr. Holmes, when I tell you that my place here has become difficult owing to the fact that my employer has proposed marriage to me. I am convinced that his feelings are most deep and most honourable."
No. Just no. These guys, they need to stop. Also, excellent demonstration of why this is never a good idea, because a refusal is always going to make continued work difficult. Even if you say 'nothing will change, your employment in no way hinges on this', there's no putting that cat back in the bag.
We knew it was coming, though.
"Williamson is a white-bearded man, and he lives alone with a small staff of servants at the Hall. There is some rumour that he is or has been a clergyman; but one or two incidents of his short residence at the Hall struck me as peculiarly unecclesiastical. I have already made some inquiries at a clerical agency, and they tell me that there was a man of that name in orders whose career has been a singularly dark one."
So the kind of a man who would marry a woman against her will? That kind of a clergyman?
Tumblr media
"...especially one gentleman with a red moustache, Mr. Woodley by name, who was always there..."
Tumblr media
"He ended a string of abuse by a vicious back-hander which I failed to entirely avoid. The next few minutes were delicious. It was a straight left against a slogging ruffian. I emerged as you see me. Mr. Woodley went home in a cart."
Holmes pulling a 'You should see the other guy.'
Also, I'm not sure we have the same definition of delicious. Unless you like the taste of blood.
"Mr. Carruthers has got a trap, and so the dangers of the lonely road, if there ever were any dangers, are now over."
Tumblr media
Yes, but is it a trap.
"...the reappearance of that odious man, Mr. Woodley. He was always hideous, but he looks more awful than ever now, for he appears to have had an accident and he is much disfigured."
You should really see the other guy.
"How can Mr. Carruthers endure such a creature for a moment?"
Because he's as bad or worse. We've talked about this, Violet. If he's still hanging around with a guy that rapey then the only logical conclusion is that he doesn't see rape as something that would end a friendship. If someone's friend sexually assaults you and they continue to hang around with that person while professing to love you, then that means they aren't a good person.
I confess that I had not up to now taken a very serious view of the case, which had seemed to me rather grotesque and bizarre than dangerous. That a man should lie in wait for and follow a very handsome woman is no unheard-of thing, and if he had so little audacity that he not only dared not address her, but even fled from her approach, he was not a very formidable assailant. The ruffian Woodley was a very different person, but, except on one occasion, he had not molested our client, and now he visited the house of Carruthers without intruding upon her presence.
Watson... I'm not angry, I'm just disappointed.
This is so... 'That a man should lie in wait for and follow a very handsome woman is no unheard-of thing'. The amount of yikes in that statement alone is enough for an entire paragraph, but then the rest of it is just... 😬
Woodley only assaulted her once! The guy on the bike doesn't even try to talk to her! Clearly they're not that dangerous. Watson. Watson... no. Just no. Buddy, c'mon.
It was the severity of Holmes's manner and the fact that he slipped a revolver into his pocket before leaving our rooms which impressed me with the feeling that tragedy might prove to lurk behind this curious train of events.
I'm glad someone is taking this seriously. Also, you already told us this had a tragic ending right at the start, so thanks for the reminder.
*Impending Doom Intensifies*
At the same instant an empty dog-cart, the horse cantering, the reins trailing, appeared round the curve of the road and rattled swiftly towards us.
Alas, it was both a trap and a trap.
"It's abduction, Watson—abduction! Murder! Heaven knows what! Block the road! Stop the horse! That's right. Now, jump in, and let us see if I can repair the consequences of my own blunder.”
What a place for a cliffhanger.

The House Maid Chapter 1
Summary: Daisy and Harry both work at the Archer House and don't quite see eye to eye when they first meet. Eventually, they can't resist one another and start a risky relationship that could have them both jobless. However, when jealousy and insecurities set in, things get ugly for the young lovers.
AN/Warning: I will have a * by the parts when smut is included. This warning list is comprehensive for all parts, not all contain smut or listed warnings. NSFW, smut, oral (male and female), 18+ only (as always), angst. I did a tiny bit of research on this time period (1915-1925 in the UK) and this is what resulted. If I get some historical stuff wrong it's because I'm not an expert on the genre/era (sorry).
Pairing: 1920s era House Maid Daisy x Groundskeeper Harry
Tumblr media
Chapter 1
Daisy had always started her workdays in the main room of the house as Missus Smith, the head housekeeper, explained the daily duty to her and any extra help that was needed for household chores on that particular day. Today was like any other. It was only her and Missus Smith who would be taking care of the house, no extra help needed today. Lady Archer was at her sister’s for the next two days (and what a relief to hear that the Lady of the house was out – she was a stickler for perfection and even though Daisy was good at her job, no one was ever good enough for Lady Archer) and Miss Archer (the youngest Archer child) would also not be home for the next two days.
Daisy’s duties began with tidying up the bedrooms on the second level of the house. The house she worked in was not a manor, nor a mansion. It was a large house, with a large garden and nearly three acres of land to tend to, but the family of the house didn’t require, nor could they afford, more help than they already had. The occasional extra help was called in, but it was rarely needed. The Master of the house owned the local accounting shop. He prepared taxes and performed audits for the wealthy gentlemen of the town and made a decent living in doing so. Sir Cyril employed his two sons; Mister Johnathan and Master Bradley; as well as three other accountants to help with the books, audits, and taxes for all the local shops and families.
Master Bradley was still in his room fast asleep when Daisy began her rounds. She and Bradley were on good terms and could even be considered friends despite their class differences. He would often tell her all about his scandals and his dreams (which were also scandalous as he wished to one day be a fashion designer). When Daisy creaked the door open she wasn’t too terribly surprised to find Bradley splayed out on his bed, mouth wide open and snoring off the previous night’s activities. What she was surprised to see was another man laying on the bed next to him, naked as the day he was born. Both completely out cold. Bradley was the odd one out of the Archer children. He had light brown hair, grey eyes, a compact nose, and was short and a bit pudgy, while the other two were tall and thin with dark hair, pronounced noses, and dark eyes. And of course there was the fact that Bradley preferred to keep the company of men than women (though, that’s not to say Bradley didn’t experiment with women from time to time). Daisy quietly retreated, slowly pulling the heavy oak door closed with the intention to return to his room later to finish the chore of tidying the youngest son’s room.
She moved on to Connie’s room, Miss Archer, as she addressed her by. Connie was to return in two days and requested fresh linens, flowers, and new curtains (her old ones were too drab and cheaply she decided). Miss Archer was the youngest of the children, the same age as Daisy, 22. She and Daisy rarely spoke but Miss Archer was usually kind, if not a bit pretentious and picky like her mother. Though she didn’t have the underlying bitter anger that Lady Archer had, not yet at least.
Daisy was a tiny bit jealous of Connie. Connie was the same age as Daisy but the different classes they each came from meant that Daisy didn’t have the opportunities that Connie afforded. While Connie’s parents weren’t extremely wealthy, they were comfortable and had privileges that Daisy’s family did not. Connie was able to study and travel abroad, while Daisy was stuck within a half day’s train ride from her family home, probably for the rest of her life. It was doubtful Daisy would ever be able to travel anywhere much further than that from home. Connie was tall and lithe, with dark hair and big brown eyes, but by most standards she was plain – not ugly by any means, but not a standard beauty with her large nose. She’d never had a true suitor, something her mother seemed to be endlessly worried about. That was the one thing Daisy didn’t envy Connie; the idea that a woman must be married before the age of 25 and Lady Archer’s unforgiving and overbearing expectations that she held onto for her daughter.
After freshening Connie’s room and removing the old “drab” curtains from their pole tightly hung over the window, she moved to Mister Johnathan’s room. Throwing the old curtains into the bin near the door, along with the old linens, Daisy entered Johnathan’s room to find a flower and a note lying on his writing desk with a small candy atop the note. Daisy’s grin couldn’t be contained and she felt her heart rate hasten. She knew that this was meant for her. Johnathan was usually up before sunrise and working during the day at his father’s accounting shop. Johnathan was tall with lean muscles and long limbs, dark hair and dark eyes like his father. He had a long broad nose and a handsomely deep voice. He always smelled clean and never held back a bright smile when he saw Daisy. Daisy’s crush was a secret but Johnathan made it hard for her to pretend she wasn’t interested. It was forbidden, after all. Johnathan often gave Daisy small gifts when he saw her in person and would occasionally leave gifts for her to find when he wasn’t around to give them to her in person. He was generous and thoughtful, but never overstepping boundaries by giving her anything of monetary value that could be seen as immoral. He’d usually give her a flower, a note with kind, neutral words, candies or pastries – things of that nature.
Dearest Missus Marvin,
I found this growing in our garden and I just knew I had to give it to you. I wonder what it must be like to have the namesake of a flower, but perhaps the flower is named after you? I suppose it makes perfect sense that you share your name with a beautiful flower.
As well, Madame Hattie made confections yesterday and I snuck my favorite kind for you.
Please enjoy these tokens of my appreciation for all you do for the house.
Sincerely,
Mister Johnathan Archer
Daisy folded the note and tucked it into her bib and lifted the flower to her nose and inhaled. It was a lovely flower, that sadly she could not bring home without questions from the staff so she brought a vase and water and settled the single daisy inside near the window of Mister Johnathan’s room, hoping he wouldn’t mind, but knowing he’d understand the gesture. As she sucked on the hard licorice cream candy she finished tidying his room and felt her heart swell at his sweet intentions. It was innocuous, the note, the single flower, the one candy, but – it was something. She knew it. It could easily be disregarded as friendly but when he gave her these kinds of things in person she noted the way his skin heated starting from his neck, up to his cheeks and then ears. She understood his kindness to be kindness, sure, but it was more than just that. If they had not been in their current circumstance things might be different. He could perhaps be more forthcoming with his feelings toward Daisy and perhaps they could marry and live happily every after like he truly wanted. And she could maybe finally get a peek at what was underneath his trousers that easily displayed his generous sized bulge (she just knew he had a big cock with those big hands, that large nose, his deep voice – of course he was fully ample in that department, she just knew it). Okay, and yes, so maybe Daisy was a bit naughty with those types of thoughts but she enjoyed sex and men, what could she say? They were her own private thoughts she never shared with anyone else. No harm done in imagining.
 The rest of Daisy’s day was typical and busy. After some hours she returned to Bradley’s room to tidy up (once he and his bedmate had long gone) and then she began to sew the new set of curtains that Miss Archer had requested but she would have time to finish them the following day as Miss Archer wasn’t due back for two more days (Friday). At the end of her shift Missus Smith reminded her to be early tomorrow to finish the curtains and for the beginning of planting season in case help was needed for the groundskeepers and gardeners. It would be things like getting baskets and seeds, or watering cans as needed. She may have to go into town to buy some things as well but it really depended on what was necessary for the new growing season. Her day would be very busy tomorrow so arriving to the house before sunrise was important as she had much work to finish.
Daisy’s walk home was inconsequential, like most days. She would have loved to have found a room in a home closer to the Archer’s home but then she wouldn’t be able to afford much else even if she had. The Archer’s home was in a small neighborhood full of beautiful middle-class homes with perfectly manicured generous sized gardens. Her room was in a home that was a third of a residential building that was about a 45 minute walk away. Each third had four rooms and one bathroom. Her unit was in the middle and her room was on the third floor, where the bathroom was on the second floor next to the large room with the large window. She rented the small room on the third floor of the unit and shared the rest of the unit with four other women. In the largest room on the second floor a pair of sisters lived, in the other room on the third floor next to Daisy’s, an older woman lived who Daisy rarely ever saw and in the bottom of the house in the basement lived another woman who had left her husband in secret. No one knew the woman’s name but everyone respected everyone’s privacy in living quarters such as this. Each woman must pay their rent on time at the end of each week and Daisy was always on time with money left over to buy herself snacks and send money home quite often.
The air was still quite cold out but the season was changing and soon spring would show itself with wild flowers, tree blooms, and fruits, as well as vegetables and hopefully later a wonderful fall harvest. Daisy felt herself lucky most days. Even with the long walk to and from the Archer’s her pay was good and she was allowed to go home every evening which wasn’t always the norm for her position. Missus Smith stayed at the Archer’s all the time and they didn’t need Daisy one day per week so she even had a full day off to sleep in, drink wine or sherry at the pub (the dingy one that didn’t mind women drinking in their facility as long as they paid their tab) and of course, hopefully finding a good fuck for the night, so long as he was cute with a big enough cock (she had some standards of course). Daisy was no saint. She enjoyed drinking and sex, and sometimes would sell off small wares she’s scoop up from the Archer home so she could buy a new frock or a whole bottle of gin to keep in her room perhaps. She didn’t feel great about it but she didn’t feel too guilty either. She’d been working for the Archer’s for nearly two years and saw them throw away money on useless things so a pretty jeweled barrette snatched up from Connie’s room (a barrette that Connie never once wore by the way) could get her shoes repaired and buy a book or two as well as some toffee pudding to snack on. She didn’t steal from them all the time, just when it was convenient and it was an item she knew wouldn’t be missed, and of course as long as it wasn’t something too valuable.
Daisy had eaten a big portion of the stew Hattie made and stole a bit of bread to dip into it when no one was looking during her break at the Archer’s so she wasn’t hungry and didn’t feel the need to stop on her way home to purchase food. When she arrived to her unit she entered the quiet and dusty house feeling relieved to be indoors, as her fingers and nose were cold from the cool air outside. She added a lump of coal to the stove before heading up the stairs to the bathroom to bathe and get herself ready to settle in with a book and some wine she hid in her room. She wished that Johnathan had given her a few more pieces of the candy so she could have a bit of something sweet as well but she couldn’t be too picky since she neglected to stop at the market on her way home, mostly out of laziness than anything else.
After washing herself and applying her face cream (that she was lucky enough to be able to afford thanks to her job) she went to her tiny room on the third floor and locked the door behind her. Pulling out the large bottle of cheap red wine and the book she had begun reading a few days prior, she snuggled into her bed and pulled her covers over her lap.
Her window faced the alley and didn’t let much light in but she could see it was already nearing dark out. She’d need to be up very early tomorrow so she could only indulge in a bit of wine but she intended to read until she dozed off like every other work night. She usually woke in the morning to her book either haven fallen to the floor or just next to her on the bed, and always with her place lost as she never folded the page back before falling asleep.
The candle flickered thanks to the small draft from the small window and the crack under her door, making shadows dance on her wall. She heard some noise downstairs and knew the sisters were home now too. She hoped they remembered to add coal to the stove before settling in for the night but they never did. As she read page after page her eyes began to grow heavy and the candle was nearing it’s end. She needed to read only a few more pages before the end of the chapter but her body didn’t allow it. She was fast asleep before the end of the chapter with the last bit of the candle going out only shortly after she’d fallen asleep as the book slid onto the mattress off of her lap.

On December 1st 1768 the first volume of Encyclopedia Britannica was published in Edinburgh, edited by William Smellie.
In 1768, the Enlightenment was in full swing, and the printing press was being employed liberally as a method of disseminating knowledge among the (then still relatively few) literate and learned. Few general-purpose reference works existed (the earliest came only a few years before), however, with much essential knowledge split between many smaller, more specific volumes. On Optics, or On the Use of Leeches, or Travels Among the Savages of the New World, that sort of thing. That year, the Encyclopaedia Britannica printed its first edition: three volumes comprising a compressed but useful near-totality of human knowledge.
It is difficult for us to conceive of, having grown up with reference works, and more difficult still for a new generation raised with the Internet and its promise of instant access to virtually any work or knowledge.
The three-volume book includes, for example, 40 pages devoted to the diseases of horses, and 40 pages about algebra – but no information about children. Of course the world has moved on and we can look back in horror and amusement at some of the entries in the early editions, but it was and still is about the learning curve. In those early volumes Homo sapiens were subdivided into five varieties: the American, the European, the Asiatic, the African and the monstrous, cures for flatulence included drinking chamomile tea and blowing smoke from a pipe ‘through the anus.,’cures for toothache involved drinking laxatives, or bleeding the foot; vermicelli noodles were first brought from Italy, where the food was in "great vogue" – it was chiefly used in soups and pottages "to provoke venery" or sexual gratification; the US state of "Callifornia" was described as "a large country of the West Indies – unknown whether it is an island or a peninsula"; the solar system had six planets – Uranus, Neptune and Pluto were yet to be discovered.
Contributors have included Sigmund Freud, Albert Einstein, Marie Curie, Leon Trotsky, Harry Houdini and our very own Sir Walter Scott. The Encyclopaedia Britannica is one of the most commonly requested books on Desert Island Discs. Those who have chosen it include Dame Maggie Smith, Charlton Heston, Gerald Durrell, Sid James, Bob Monkhouse, Cyril Smith and Morecambe and Wise.
In 2010, when the last print editions were sold, a search for the oldest Encyclopædia Britannica still in private hands led to the discovery of an 18-volume set from 1797. The books, still in regular use by a family in Chelmsford, were bought in the 1970s for £15 and are now thought to be worth about £9,000. "We had no idea that they were particularly rare or unusual," said the owner, Mrs Hampson, "but we've always loved them for their interesting contents and wonderful smell."
The full Encyclopædia Britannica, frequently updated, is now available online, at britannica.co.uk, and as an app for the iPad and android.

A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder - First National Tour - September 29, 2015 (Preview) (SunsetBlvd79's master) FORMAT:  VOB (with smalls) (SD) CAST: John Rapson (The D'Ysquith Family), Kevin Massey (Monty Navarro), Kristen Beth Williams (Sibella Hallward), Adrienne Eller (Phoebe D'Ysquith), Mary VanArsdel (Miss Marietta Shingle), Kristen Mengelkoch (Lady Eugenia D'Ysquith and others), Christopher Behmke (Magistrate/Actor/Mr. Gorby), Matt Leisy (Tom Copley/Newsboy/Actor/Guard), Megan Loomis (Tour Guide/Newsboy), Ben Roseberry (Chief Inspector Pinckney/Newsboy/Actor), Lesley McKinnell (Miss Evangeline Barley and others) NOTES: Beautiful capture of the tour which launched in Chicago. There's tiny bits of washout when the camera is in wideshot due to the spotlights of the stage. Terrific cast and a wonderful tour of this production! A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder - First National Tour - April 24, 2016 (SJ Bernly's master) FORMAT:  VOB (with smalls) (SD) CAST: John Rapson (The D'Ysquith Family), Kevin Massey (Monty Navarro), Kristen Beth Williams (Sibella Hallward), Adrienne Eller (Phoebe D'Ysquith), Mary VanArsdel (Miss Marietta Shingle), Megan Loomis (u/s Lady Eugenia D'Ysquith and others), Christopher Behmke (Magistrate/Actor/Mr. Gorby), Matt Leisy (Tom Copley/Newsboy/Actor/Guard), Ben Roseberry (Chief Inspector Pinckney/Newsboy/Actor), Lesley McKinnell (Miss Evangeline Barley and others) NOTES: A great capture of the tour. The cast is solid, and the audience is energetic. There are no blackouts, no obstruction, and no washout. It’s filmed in 16:9, with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. The sound is excellent. Includes curtain call, John and Kevin’s BC/EFA speech, and playbill scans. A+ Gentlemen Prefer Blondes - Encores! - May 12, 2012 FORMAT:  MP4 (HD) CAST: Megan Hilty (Lorelei Lee), Rachel York (Dorothy Shaw), Aaron Lazar (Henry Spofford), Steven Boyer (Pierre/Louis Lemanteur), Brennan Brown (Steward/Mr. Robert Lemanteur/Gus Esmond Sr.), Stephen Buntrock (Josephus Gage), Simon Jones (Sir Francis Beekman), Deborah Rush (Mrs. Ella Spofford), Sandra Shipley (Lady Phyllis Beekman), Megan Sikora (Gloria Stark), Clarke Thorell (Gus Esmond Jr.) NOTES: Filmed from the back of the balcony. Many heads appear in the frame to start, then when the filmer gets his bearings, the video improves greatly. There are a few times (mostly at the beginning) when the filmer replaces some poor video moments with still shots. These still shots are less than 2 or 3 minutes of the entire show. Overall, a great video, and Megan Hilty is amazing Ghost: The Musical - Berlin - June, 2018 (Rumpel's master) FORMAT:  VOB (with smalls) (SD) CAST: Nikolas Heiber (u/s Sam Wheat), Willemijn Verkaik (Molly Jensen), Marion Campbell (Oda Mae Brown), Andreas Bongard (Carl Bruner), Mischa Kiek (Willie Lopez), Nicolas Christahl (Subway Ghost), Klaus Seiffert (Hospital Ghost), Chasity Crisp (Clara), Denise Lucie Aquino (Louise) NOTES: Very Limited trades 3:1 Ghost: The Musical - Broadway - July 28, 2012 (SunsetBlvd79's master) FORMAT:  VOB (with smalls) (SD) CAST: Richard Fleeshman (Sam Wheat), Caissie Levy (Molly Jensen), Da'Vine Joy Randolph (Oda Mae Brown), Bryce Pinkham (Carl Bruner), Michael Bladerrama (Willie Lopez), Tyler McGee (Subway Ghost) NOTES: Great HD capture of the show toward the end of the run. This is a great capture compared the previous one from March, with the changes that were made from the previews and with the original Oda Mae Brown. Despite what the reviews said, this is one show I thoroughly enjoyed and wish it had a better life on Broadway as it deserved! A- Recording with mostly zooms and a few wide shots. Great views of the effects. A Google Drive link is floating around that contains the wrong VOBs for Act 1-3 and Act 2-2; make sure you get everything! The House Maid Chapter 4*
Chapter 3
Chapter 4*
Walking through the gates to the Archer House at 6:15 in the morning, Daisy noted that the gardeners and groundskeeper were already at work, including Harry. Daisy didn’t give him a second look, though. She didn’t want him to see any weakness in her nor give him the satisfaction of having her eyes on him. Missus Smith told her that Miss Archer would be arriving with a lot of luggage from her trip at around 10 in the morning, while Lady Archer would be arriving in the early afternoon sometime along with her sister, Perry, who would be staying with the Archers through the weekend.
Daisy began her normal routine of tidying the children’s rooms first thing (though they were hardly children at this point). This morning Master Bradley was not in his bed fast asleep but he was at his desk sketching something.
“G’mornin’ Master Bradley. May I come in and make your bed? Do you require anything?” She smiles and picked up a lump of clothes from the ground tossing the dirty coverings into the basket in the hallway.
Bradley looked up at Daisy, seeming to not have been expecting her, “OH! Missus Marvin! Top of the morning to ya. Please, go ahead and pick up my pigsty. I require nothing other than the usual. How are you? I haven’t seen you in a few days.”
Daisy continued her tidying as she spoke, “I’ve been just as good as always. My life can be a bore, but not tonight! Tomorrow is my day off and I’m heading out to Grunthan’s pub with Ophie this evening, ya know the one where all the harlots go?” She laughed, “How are you? What’ve you got there?” she asked as she leaned near his desk to see that he was drawing a suite and filling in a pattern over the lapels.
“Designing a suit I’d like to wear to the next ball. I’m going to send Lillian to find the fabric and threads. I think I’ll need at least three shades of this red and then black, white, and green…” he spoke as he pointed to each section. His design was beautiful but quite loud, however it would fit Bradley’s personality perfectly.
“I love it, Bradley. You’ll stun the whole ball. No one will be able to keep their eyes off of you, handsome creature…” she ran her fingers through his hair and smiled down at him. She really loved Bradley and his oddities. There weren’t many people like him and she appreciated his boldness.
Bradley cupped his hand over hers and kissed her knuckles and laughed, “My dear! You flatter me! I just want to turn heads like you do, and the only way to do that is to wear something a little outrageous, no?” They laughed together as Daisy began tucking the sheets into Bradley’s bed.
“You know… I would love to go to dirty Grunthan’s pub like a harlot. You get to live life on the edge and I just love it, Missus Marvin. If I were to go there mum and dad would kill me. They’d have my head! I’m already on thin ice as it is. He saw me sneaking out Gerald the other morning, well, either that or Johnathan saw and tattled, but somehow he knew and he confronted me about our family name and embarrassing the legacy. I say, how nice to be someone who can go about life like you do.”
Daisy paused, she didn’t know who would’ve told Sir Cyril but it couldn’t have been Johnathan as he seemed to have already been gone from the house by the time Gerald would have been snuck out.
“Well, I wouldn’t say my life is that grand, Master Bradley. I do enjoy getting drunk and finding a good fuck for the night, though. That’s the goal. I haven’t been laid in a few weeks and a girl’s got her needs.”
Both Daisy and Bradley roared with laughter at their scandalous private discussion but what they didn’t realize was that Harry had made his way up to the second level to seek out Daisy. He wanted to corner her again, get her riled up. He saw her enter through the gates and he assumed (correctly) she’d be starting on the second level like she had yesterday. And it goes without saying that he was startled to hear their conversation. First, he was startled to hear that one of the Archer sons was likely sleeping with a man when he mentioned a Gerald fellow. Second, hearing the way Daisy spoke about going where harlots go, getting laid, finding a good fuck for the night… why… had he completely misread the girl? She was a blushing, bumbling mess when he confronted her yesterday and he just knew he’d pegged her right, but now this? This was something unexpected completely. She wanted to find a man to fuck her tonight and Harry thought maybe he could accidentally find his way to this Grunthan’s pub she spoke about. He’d never been there but he was surprised she frequented any kind of place like that. Women weren’t typically welcomed unless they were whores for hire.
“Just be sure the bloke has a big cock as always, honey. It’s no fun if you can’t feel his prick. Believe me, I know!” Bradley spoke as he sputtered out laughs in between sentences. They both howled with laughter and even Harry was smirking and laughing to himself. These two were out of their minds to be speaking this way. Anyone could walk by and hear them, like Harry for example.
“Master Bradley… why do you think I haven’t been with a man in three weeks? Last week I met someone hoping for a good night but once I saw him naked, his prick was as small as your thumb at full mast. I turned him away quickly and told him I’d suddenly grown weary.” She laughed, “Poor fucker. He was hard as your thumb and no bigger than! That thing was not going to make its way anywhere inside that counted I can tell you that.” Bradley gulped down some milk and hummed in agreement.
“Good girl. I knew you were smart. Big cock or go home, yeah? Us Archer men are all hung like horses but I’m sorry, Marvin, you’re just not my type, otherwise I’d be happy to give you a ride.”
At the mention of the Archer men being big she stopped and felt her back warm up a bit. She just knew Johnathan had to have a big prick. Now, Bradley could be exaggerating but she had a feeling he was not. In fact, she’d seen Bradleys flacid prick a few times, on accident of course – mainly when he was asleep on his bed, nude (which was how he preferred to sleep Daisy came to found out) – and she could confirm even soft he was large. She cleared her throat and continued her tidying before kissing the top of Bradley’s head and leaving him in his room.
As she picked up the basket and placed it next to Johnathan’s room she heard movement coming from behind his door. She didn’t assume Johnathan would still be in his room but now she was upset that he might have overheard her and Bradley. She was so embarrassed and felt sick to her stomach. As she pushed the door open she came face to face with not Johnathan, but with Harry. Of course it was him.
She rolled her eyes, “Good morning, Harry. Why are you in Mister Johnathan’s bedroom?” He leaned against the wall to watch her as she made the bed and picked up a few things.
“Good morning, kitten. I’m in here because I thought you and I could have a private chat. I wanted to apologize for my crudeness yesterday…” he was pretending he didn’t hear the conversation she’d just had with Bradley, but hoped she’d admit to being a bit more “fun” than what he assumed of her originally with his next statement, “I realize someone as pure and innocent as yourself probably found my intrusion rude and uncalled for and I feel badly about it. I hope it didn’t upset you too much.”
He waited for her response but she took a bit too long to reply to him. He wanted her to tell him the truth, that she was naughty and wanted to suck him off right then and there – then he’d show her exactly how big his prick was. Maybe she’d let him fuck her too. But he couldn’t let his mind get ahead of him until she confessed her dirty side.
Eventually Daisy turned to him and smirked. She knew he must have heard the conversation she’d had with Bradley and she felt like she knew what game he was playing, so she’d play along to get him riled up this time, placing her hand over her chest and sighing, “Oh, thank you, Harry. I was so beside myself after your brash remarks yesterday and I didn’t know what to do or how to feel about anything. I was so confused when I got home last night and I just kept thinking about how you called me kitten (that part was true), how you placed your hand over my thigh, I’ve never been touched by a man like that before, and just your presence and closeness and those dirty words you spoke to me made me feel… confused? I… have never felt that way before, being untouched, a virgin and all. I’ve never been spoken to like that and I don’t know. I just…” She looked down, really trying to ham it up, wringing her hands in front of her before looking up into his eyes as she drew near him and bit her lip, “… how does it feel? You know? To kiss someone? To touch someone in that way?” She gulped down her nerves for this next part, “Because Harry, I suddenly feel awakened to something new in my body and last night… I… I touched myself for the first time, you know, down there. To the thought of you calling me kitten and touching my thigh without all these layers.” She looked down for dramatic effect and smiled because by the look in his face he was confused but enjoying it.
Harry was confused. He knew he just overheard her saying illicit things to Bradley, didn’t he? Why was she acting this way? She was pretending, he knew it, but the way she was looking at him and biting her lip and closing the space between the two of them he felt his heart rate pick up and the heat from his tummy began to rise up his chest and over his face. She was making him blush and she was just fucking with him, he knew it. But he couldn’t stop his lips from parting and the crease in his brow to deepen at her words.
She continued, now looking him square in the face and seeing his blush and nerves, she smirked, “… of course, that’s what you hoped, right? That was your goal? You know, for a seasonal worker, you sure are cocky, Harry. I’ve probably enjoyed more orgasms in my life than you have and I’m probably better at giving them than you as well. Did you want me to be the innocent virgin? Well I’m not. I’m quite promiscuous actually, and I’m not dumb either. I know you overheard me talking in Bradley’s room. Did you like what you heard? How I’m looking to get fucked tonight? Well, it’s all true. But I can’t figure out why you felt the need to come to me again and the play a mind game with me and pretend apologize. What was your point, Harry?”
Harry’s face went from awe to shock as she spoke and he looked down quickly when he realized she knew he’d overheard her. What was his goal? What did he want out of this? Should he even know?
Harry gulped and his adams apple bobbed as he finally regained confidence to maintain eye contact, “I came up here to, I don’t know, fuck with you I guess. Get you all riled up like I did yesterday. I didn’t expect to hear anything that I did and I don’t know why I pretended I didn’t hear it. I thought maybe you’d admit it to me, and you did! But, well, I guess we’re even now?” He smiled at her, hoping to convince her that they were even, hoping she didn’t realize she now had the upper hand.
Daisy loved Harry’s smile. His dimples, his pink lips. What a gorgeous man, but so cocky.
“Okay, I see. You wanted to pick on me, is that it? Is it because you like me? Like what you see, Harry?”
Harry’s eyes widened and he licked his lips and nodded, “Um, yes. Yeah, I do. Yes.” He really hoped she’d invite him to fuck her finally, he felt like this was going somewhere.
“Yeah? What would you like, Harry? What would you do with me if you could have your way?” She smiled warmly, keeping up the act a bit, she was going to put him in his place once and for all.
Harry straightened his posture, “I’d do anything you like, Missus. I’d kiss you first, and then,” he reached behind his head and scratched at the nape of his neck, feeling his nerves bubble over. Was she serious – did she really want to know? “I guess I’d kiss my way down your body and find your softest spot right in between your thighs and use my mouth and my nose, and my fingers to bring you to orgasm.”
Daisy was suddenly regretting asking him that question. She didn’t think he’d really describe what he’d do, and was he serious? She met only a few men willing to go down on her in the way he described. Most of her flings were quick. Did Harry really do this to the women he bedded? But he continued and she felt her heart thump harder under her chest.
“Then maybe I’d clean you all up with my tongue, gently,” Harry’s breath became a little labored and his cock was beginning to plump up just thinking about what he’d do to her, he swallowed, “then if you wanted I’d let you suck on my prick for a bit, to get a taste, because, well, I’ve been told I taste really good, but only if you like that – I mean I know some women don’t like that…” he was too nervous, he didn’t know what he was saying but he continued as he watched the look on her face, her pink lips parted, the bit of flush over her cheeks – he could see that she liked what he was saying so he kept going, “… and then I’d lay you down and push myself into you slowly until you had your second orgasm. Maybe if you needed help getting there I could place my thumb over your sensitive little nub and rub it for you. I would wait until you had finished before pulling out of you letting my sperm cover your tummy, or in your mouth if you like that too. I, I like many things, actually, but that’s my basic scenario I think…”  he trailed off and laughed at himself feeling silly but now completely hard as a rock in his trousers (his own trousers that he brought himself, by the way, thankfully given the current circumstance).
His erection didn’t go unnoticed by Daisy who thought she could faint at his words and the bulk of the tent in his pants now. She gulped a bit to regain her composure and with a tinge of guilt said the following, “Now, that all sounds wonderful, Harry, really. I’m sure you’d love to think you can bring a woman to two orgasms, or even one really, but I imagine that with that cocky attitude of yours that you’re trying to overcompensate for being hung like a hamster. So I’ll have to decline that fantasy. I prefer my men to have quite large cocks and you are unlikely to please me at all.”
She left Harry in Mister Johnathan’s room with his confidence shattered and his head spinning in confusion. He’d just laid out for her what he’d do to her, she put him in a vulnerable spot only to insult him and his cock? Ahh, but he knew it was a game now because he saw the way she looked at his bulge and licked her lips. He was intrigued. Pissed. Aroused. He’d exact his revenge, that was for certain.
~~~~~~~~~~
When Miss Archer arrived home she didn’t fail to see all the new gardeners hard at work. Especially the tall one with dark curls and broad shoulders. She’d seek out that one after freshening up a bit. Perhaps tell him to take a bit of a break because he appears to be working so hard. Connie could see the sweat built up under his arms, on the neckline of his shirt, and the middle of his back. She’d call him to the patio for an ice-cold beverage and get a good look at him.
And that is exactly what she did. After changing from her traveling clothes to something more feminine, re-pinning her hair, and powdering her intimate parts she went downstairs to call for the new gardener. She saw Missus Marvin walked by on her way to the kitchen and stopped her, “Excuse me, Missus Marvin, can you tell me the name of the new gardener out there? He’s tall, the one with dark hair.” She looked at Daisy with anticipation as she pointed her finger to the garden pointing directly at Harry.
“Oh, that is Harry, Miss Archer. He only started yesterday.” Daisy nodded and looked out over the lawn to see Harry toiling and very obviously sweating. He looked strong and solid. But then she noticed that Connie had lightly cleared her throat and was looking at her with question.
“Missus Marvin, you may return to work. Thank you for your help.” And just as Daisy began to walk away Connie spoke again, “Oh! Missus Marvin, wait!” Daisy turned back to look at Connie just as she began to speak, “Will you bring two glasses of ice and lemonade to the patio for me? Thank you!” and with that Connie rushed out the front door leaving Daisy confused and slightly annoyed as she was on her way to take a break, but Daisy decided her break could come after.
After receiving two large glasses of lemonade with a hunk of ice in each from Hattie in the kitchen, Daisy descended the stairs to bring herself to the patio as requested by Connie. When she saw Connie and Harry sitting at the patio set she understood exactly what was happening. Connie saw Harry and she just had to meet him. Daisy didn’t blame her. He was quite attractive. Definitely attractive. She neared the table, approaching them from behind so Harry didn’t notice her at first. Not until she set his glass down next to him and stood at the side of the table awaiting to be dismissed. She gave a quick smirk to Harry before Connie made eye contact with Daisy. Connie was in the middle of talking about how she’d just returned home and she saw how he was working so hard. When she made eye contact with Daisy she waived her hand and said, “You may go.” Daisy rolled her eyes as she turned away but caught another glimpse of the two before she went back into the house and noticed that Connie had placed her hand over the top of Harry’s shoulder as she spoke to him, leaning in closely as Harry downed his lemonade.
~~~~~~~~~~
When Daisy was finally dismissed for the day (an hour late of course) she found her friend, Ophie, waiting for her on the street near her home. She was pacing back and forth and when Ophie caught sight of Daisy she shouted, “Thought you’d done left me or pissed off somewhere else. Get off work late?”
Daisy laughed as she walked past Ophie to unlock the door to her unit. Ophie followed behind Daisy, talking the whole way about nonsense that Daisy didn’t listen to until they made it up to Daisy’s room on the third floor. Daisy unlocked her door and stepped aside to let Ophie into her room before closing the door shut behind them. Daisy immediately went to work, lighting a couple candles and using her gas lamp before turning on the record player to her Fritz Kreisler record and peeling off her work clothes. Ophie danced around the room with Daisy’s bottle of red wine and took a swig.
Daisy peered into her meager apparel options and went with a navy blue cotton and poplin day dress with a wrap top, large pockets on each side and embroidered with large gold decorative buttons along the cuffs and neckline. She removed her hair from the bun and pinned it down so her wave stayed intact but her hair was loose at the ends. Before she slipped into her dress that truly accentuated her curves, she powdered her body and added her favorite rose scented splash for good measure. Ophie was already dressed in her usual getup, an olive-colored house dress with a shawl collar. It was all Ophie ever wore to go out in. It was really all she had. Daisy had five dresses, a skirt, two blouses, two pairs of trousers, a pair of hockey boots and a pair of kid oxfords (both with sturdy heels), as well as her work attire and underclothes.
When the ladies were ready and each had a few swigs of wine, Daisy blew out the candles and turned off the gas light and the record player. Finding themselves at the same pub they always went to, just about every week they sat at their preferred table and waited for the night to get interesting, as it usually did. The bar was gritty and not in the best part of town. It was dirty and the owner was rude and his wife was ruder. But the wine and gin were cheap and tonight Daisy was feeling like gin.
As the record player set the scene, smoke from cigarettes filled air, and the young men and women began pouring in after a long day on the job Daisy and Ophie were already a couple of gins in. Ophie spotted a man who’d tried to court her a few months prior and she tried to hide herself from his view. But when he was sat next to a handsome man with thick forearms and red hair, Daisy decided it wasn’t kind to hide after all.
Eventually the four of them were sat next to one another and flirting was in full swing. Daisy found Marcus funny. He had her laughing the whole night, and well, she decided that if he wanted to go home with her she’d let him, even if he didn’t have a big cock because there was something so charming and comforting about him. She needed a good laugh and Marcus was entertaining and cute.
Unfortunately, after a couple of hours, Ophie was reminded of why she didn’t like Adam and was upset and Adam was apologetic as he tried to get Marcus to leave with him – Ophie had told Adam to piss off. Marcus didn’t want to leave Daisy, though and that was that. Daisy bid farewell to Ophie and in a gin-buzzed haze walked with Marcus back to her place so they could get down to business. And indeed they did. Marcus didn’t eat her out as Harry said he’d do, but he did push his thick fingers into her flesh and nearly made her cum. But it felt good nonetheless. She stopped Marcus, clutching his wrist and then climbing over him, making him lay down so she could finally see what they were working with. She’d palmed over his clothed bulge and it felt a decent size. She would have sex with him either way. He was funny and eager which she liked it and she was horny.
To her delight, Marcus was slightly larger than average. He wasn’t the biggest she’d been with but that’d get the job done. She lowered herself between his bent knees and gave him a lick before putting him in her mouth and making him nearly cum before he placed his hand under her chin and brought her closer to him, “Sweetheart, I’d love to feel that wet pussy around my cock right about now. How about we fuck, huh? That’s what you said you wanted tonight, right? A good fuck? And I want to make you come.” He smiled and laughed which made her laugh. Marcus roughly pushed her back against her pillows and shoved his trousers the rest of the way down his legs before pushing into her with his full, hard cock. When he began thrusting quite vigorously and sharply, she found it feeling so good she knew she’d come quickly. And she did. So did Marcus. As soon as Daisy began pulsing around his cock he barely made it out in time to come on her tummy – just like Harry said he’d do (except that Harry specifically said that he would wait until you had finished before pulling out of you letting his sperm cover your tummy which Marcus did not wait for). She panted and rubbed at her clit as she finished herself off and came down from her orgasm as Marcus’ white come sprayed onto her soft stomach and dipped into her bellybutton. That was good. Yes. That was just what she needed and he was funny, and just rough enough that it was pleasurable. She’d sleep well tonight.
Meanwhile, Harry stayed late at the Archer House. Connie had told him she’d love to go down on him if he’d go down on her and Harry was not one to say no to such an invitation. So after Connie had a warm water basin brought into her room with soap and a sponge, she had Harry clean himself up a bit so they could explore a little. Connie gave him privacy as he cleaned himself, paying special attention to his crotch. If was going to have a woman down there, he at least wanted to be clean and hopefully not smell foul. Harry jumped into Connie’s bed and crawled under her covers and immediately realized that her bed was fantastic. Hell, even if she didn’t come back into the room he’d be fine with that as long as he could sleep in her bed.
When Connie entered, she immediately began taking layers of her clothes off. She was talking about something that Harry didn’t care about. Connie was pretty, mostly. She was lean, maybe a little too lean for his taste. Not that Harry was really that picky but if he could select the perfect body type it would definitely be a little chubby. The kind he could squeeze and pinch. A soft round bum, soft breasts, soft calves and tummy. He liked soft a lot. He imagined Daisy probably being very close to his ideal, though he’d never seen her naked to know for sure when he squeezed at her thigh he could tell she had more than enough there to grab onto. Harry was also not too worried about how a woman looked in general. Obviously he found some women more attractive than others but ultimately, what got his prick hard was intellect and fun conversation, and a woman who was willing and eager in bed like him. That’s really all he required. A beautiful woman was just a beautiful woman but he found that most beautiful women felt they were too good for anyone, or they were so insecure about ruining their reputations that they were boring prudes. He needed more substance than beauty.
Connie was obviously not a prude as she initiated this entire event. She wasn’t his ideal but that was only because he didn’t find her interesting when she spoke to him. As promised, though, Connie got to work on him right away, “Wow! Harry, this is. Oh god. I want to try to fit you in my mouth as much as I can but… well, you may need to wind up fucking me if that’s okay. I know we talked about only oral but I’m okay with you and I having sex too. I mean… if you want…” Harry chuckled. This woman was odd and not very sensual at all but he could have some fun with her.
He laid back onto the pillows with hands clasped together cradling the back of his head, “Darling, I’m game if you are. Now, let’s see what you can do with that mouth.” He closed his eyes as she began licking and sucking. Once Connie attempted to take him further that’s when Harry popped his eyes open to watch. He always loved watching women try and take him down their throat, some never even attempted, and honestly, it boosted his already quite large ego. Connie wasn’t bad, actually. She was messy and eager. There’s not much more he could have asked from her. She kept gagging once he got to the back of her throat with tiny thrusts. Her eyes were watering and she pulled off gasping for air with a cough. “Wow. You are so big, Harry. I can’t do it anymore, I’m sorry. Will you eat me out for a bit? Then you can fuck me.”
Harry sat up and pushed Connie back, spreading her legs open and kissed the inside of her thighs slowly making his way to her center. She was squirming and moaning and he hadn’t even gotten there yet. When he finally licked up her wet labia she moaned quietly and panted with each of his licks. It was sexy. Her sounds were really nice and Harry found himself thinking of doing this to Daisy like he’d told her he would do earlier. Soon he was so into tasting and licking, and fingering her she was coming with small whimpers and airy chants of his name. He thought to himself how easy that was. He was pretty good, he knew, but it took merely a handful of minutes to have Connie coming. She was sweating and panting and watching him. Harry was hard and ready to burst with thoughts of tasting Daisy and wondering (and kind of enjoying the thought) what she was doing at that moment, if she’d found someone to dick her down tonight. He hoped she was getting some relief like he was about to. He held his shaft in his large palm and stroked a little while he watched Connie come back to earth. She smiled and grabbed at him, pulling him down toward her, “Harry, I’m not gonna lie, I’m very sensitive after that and you’re really big, maybe the biggest I’ve ever been with. Please go slow at first. Okay?” She was nodding as she spoke and he was feeling better about himself than maybe ever. Her praises were getting to him. He needed this after today, after getting knocked down a peg by Daisy. He needed to feel like this again.
Harry leaned in and kissed her temple and smiled as he slowly entered her. He’d be easy with her, he didn’t mind slow if that’s what she wanted. Sex was good in general so he’d be happy with that if it meant he got to finish with an orgasm. He moved in her and pulled back, then pushed back in slowly and she was gasping and pawing at his back, “OH FUCK, HARRY!” She quieted down with rambling and nonsensical words pouring from her mouth. Every thrust had her gasping and moaning and quivering.
She quickly and easily came around his prick and he continued slow thrusts into her as she orgasmed. Once he could see she was done he thrust in a few more times before pulling out and coming on her tummy, just like he said he’d do to Daisy.

April 26th, 1912 - American Inquiry Day 8
Tumblr media
The Evening Star of Washington DC, April 27. 1912, shows Ernest Gill, right, in opposition to his Captain, Stanley Lord, left.
Day 8: The subcommittee returned to their normal way of conducting the inquiry, although later than normal due to how late testimony was being given the night before. Notable among the witnesses today is Captain Stanley Lord, and Marconi Operator, Cyril Evans, both of the SS Californian. Both men will spend the rest of their careers, and lives with the shadow of that Sunday night, and their actions, or lack there-of. Before testimony is heard, Senator Smith reiterates that “everything that transpires in connection with this inquiry is public, and no attempt whatever to suppress any part of the testimony, or the circumstances surrounding it; will be made.”
Witnesses:
Philip Franklin, Vice President, International Mercantile Marine Co.;
Ernest Gill, Donkeyman, SS Californian;
Stanley Lord, Captain, SS Californian;
Cyril F. Evans, Marconi Operator, SS Californian;
Frank O. Evans, Able Seaman, RMS Titanic (recalled);
Notable Quotes/Lines of Questioning or Summarized Testimony:
Philip Franklin starts the morning off by explaining the circumstances that had transpired in order to subpoena the captain, Marconi officer and several crew of the SS Californian in Boston on April 25th. Consideration was given for their arrangements to travel to Washington working around the ship’s next planned sailing on the 27th. When the Inquiry started this morning, Lord and C. Evans are on their way by train from Boston to Washington, and would arrive later that afternoon to testify.
Senator Smith also questions Franklin again about the official and non-official communication regarding the accident, when he first heard and from whom, who he communicated with, and what was communicated. Franklin is very forthcoming and had already provided the subcommittee all relevant telegrams, but Smith continues to query him about it.
There is very interesting conversation between Franklin and Smith regarding the Titanic operator’s conduct in the matter of the ice report around 5pm Sunday from the Californian that he originally ignored but picked up about 30 minutes later from the Baltic. I appreciate and would support Mr. Franklin’s testimony, and essentially arguments made against what Smith has been saying, in regards to timing and conduct, and whether the operator should be employed by Marconi or the ship owner. LINK to the second half of Franklin’s testimony which I believe is worth the read.
At the end of what seems like a tense back and forth between the two, Senator Smith and Mr. Franklin discuss how he and his employees have been treated through-out the inquiry. While Franklin understands the position, he emphasizes how he would desire to send non-Americans home, but Smith digs his heels in. Smith reiterates why them being there is so important, and that until he is satisfied that they have been completely thorough in this inquiry, he will not allow anyone to be sent home.
Senator Fletcher asked if it would be practical to run ships in pairs across the ocean, to which Franklin replies that he does not think it practical, and continues to insist as Fletcher inquires more into his reasoning.
Ernest Gill, second donkeyman (person in charge of a ship’s engine room) of the Californian¸ is read his own personal statement  by Senator Smith, and affirms all that was read to be true. READ THIS WHOLE THING!!!
In Gill’s statements, he tells of what transpired on the night of Sunday April 14th. He recounts that he had seen “a big vessel” from the deck around 11:56. He states that “They could not have helped but see her from the bridge and lookout.” Then, unable to sleep he comes back on deck around 12:30 and sees the rockets, saying to himself, “that must be a vessel in distress.” It wasn’t his duty to notify the bridge “but they could not have helped but see them [the rockets],” so he turned in with the belief that the ship would go to the distressed vessel’s aid.
“The next remark I heard the second pass was, ‘Why in the devil they didn't wake the wireless man up?’ The entire crew of the steamer have been talking among themselves about the disregard of the rockets. I personally urged several to join me in protesting against the conduct of the captain, but they refused, because they feared to lose their jobs.” – Gill
“I am quite sure that the Californian was less than 20 miles from the Titanic, which the officers report to have been our position. I could not have seen her if she had been more than 10 miles distant and I saw her very plainly. I have no ill will toward the captain or any officer of the ship, and I am losing a profitable berth by making this statement. I am actuated by the desire that no captain who refuses or neglects to give aid to a vessel in distress should be able to hush up the men.” – Gill
 Seriously, read Gill’s statement, it isn’t very long and its got juicy deets.
“From the position we stopped in to the position at which the Titanic is supposed to have hit the iceberg, 19 1/2 to 19 3/4 miles; south 16 west, sir, was the course.” – Lord
When they finally did go to Titanic’s aid, Lord estimates (per the Californian log book) it took them 2.5 hours to get to her location at full speed in the morning. When asked had they received the C.Q.D. from Titanic, Lord estimates at least 2 hours. Gill saw the rockets at 12:30; Titanic went under at approximately 2:20; going full speed, based on estimates the Californian, that night of the sinking could have gotten there right as Titanic potentially saving those in the water, and almost 2 hours before the Carpathia. This is if they went when they saw the rockets later after the wireless operator had turned in. Had they received the Titanic’s initial C.Q.D. which was sent at midnight, the Californian could have been there when the Titanic was not yet fully foundered, and potentially saved a lot more lives. (This is my own trail of thinking based on testimony, NOT fact.)
” I saw several empty boats, some floating planks, a few deck chairs, and cushions; but considering the size of the disaster, there was very little wreckage. It seemed more like an old fishing boat had sunk” – Lord
In regards to the distress signals, Lord tells a short story about how things played out. He claims to have seen a “peculiar light” coming along, however they “could not distinguish where the sky ended and where the water commenced. You understand, it was a flat calm” and another officer told him he thought it was a star, so Lord went below. “A quarter past he [the officer] said, ‘I think she has fired a rocket.’ He said, ‘She did not answer the Morse lamp and she has commenced to go away from us.’ I said, ‘Call her up and let me know at once what her name is.’ So, he put the whistle back, and, apparently, he was calling. I could hear him ticking over my head. Then l went to sleep.” - Lord
“We could not have seen her Morse code; that is an utter impossibility.” –Lord who also claimed the distress rockets could have been mistaken as a shooting star or not seen at all. Interesting though, because according to Gill, multiple people saw them.
The Californian’s chief officer (Stewart) woke C. Evans at 3:30 saying "There is a ship that has been firing rockets in the night. Please see if there is anything the matter."  At that point he got word from the Frankfurt(German liner) that the Titanic had sunk and her location. This was followed up with an official message from the Virginian, with the same details.
There was lots of talk, as they headed towards the Titanic’s location, between the crew members of the Californian, regarding seeing rockets and informing the Captain of said rockets earlier in the night.
According to C. Evans, Gill had mentioned “I think I will make about $500 on this” in regards to telling the press about the rockets.
“I should think between 150 and 200. We had great difficulty in getting through them to get to the wreck” – F. Evans (regarding bodies in the water, they passed through them to get to the overturned collapsible boat)
“The first child was passed over, sir, and I caught it by the dress. It was dangling. I had to swing it, and a woman caught it. The remainder of the children - there was a fireman there and with the assistance of a young woman they caught the children as they were dropped into the boat. There were none of the children hurt. That was the only accident, with this woman. She seemed a bit nervous. She did not like to jump, at first, and then when she did jump she did not go far enough, and the consequence was she went between the ship and the boat.” – F. Evans
Evans says she parted between the third and fourth funnel. 200ft. of the stern left visible, sitting horizontally for about 4-5 minutes after the forepart went down. Stern then plunged forward perpendicular.
