Sometimes you just have to make the most self indulgent art

Anyway, this is just some cute art for a little fic idea that's just bouncing around in my head where Some Weird Time Artifact ends up in the sewers (I'm blaming it on Renet) but it's also broken and therefore existing in two different times. And yet in both times a Leo grabs the artifact and turtle tot Leo and Teenage Leo are switched. Big Raph was with Big Leo at the time of the switch and now has to deal with tiny Leo while trying not to panic. Tiny Leo is amazed by how strong Raph gets when he's older and clings to him most of the time he's there (he does spend time with Don and Mikey too, but he tends to go back to Raph) cue the falling asleep in the chair together :)

(Big Leo is in a very similar situation with Little little brothers in the past as well lol)

I just really like the idea that, while Leo and Raph may butt heads often, they still absolutely trust each other the most and therefore would cling to each other in uncertain situations

also I just really like Leo and Raph duo :)

100% whistles when he comes to pick you and April up for a special NYPD ceremony and gets a look at your nightly outfit

It’s not even anything super sexy; a (c,c) long sleeved, v neck jumper with a simple floral design down one of the open pent legs accompanied with a pair of (c,c) block heals and simple but stylish jewelry

The outfit and your styled up looks are just so different from what Mikey is used to seeing you in, which is usually either comfy sweats or casual clothing depending on the location

He lets you know how stunning you look and doesn’t miss the way you shyly try to hide your blush at his compliments, which only spurs him on some more

At one point in the night he makes a slightly flirtatious comment about how he’s not surprised you pulled off such a look, because he thinks you’re gorgeous in anything, and is promptly met with your very flustered response of shoving your matching orange purse in his face (he regrets nothing!)

Donatello:

This poor turt feels his stomach fluttering when lays eyes upon your outfit for the nights celebration

Accentuating your appearance is a soft (c,c) dress with a sewn on silk cape that covers your upper arms, frilly tights cover your legs and adorable (c,c) flats support your feet, and to top it all off is a simple but very cute pastel purple bow clipped neatly to your hair to pull it all together

Donnie nearly chokes up on his words trying to think of the right thing to say, as he’s so used to seeing you wearing anything else but this type of style

Eventually he settles for just offering you his arm to walk with him into the rented convention center the NYPD is hosting in, to which you appreciatingly take

You’re just so pretty and to be frank the purple bow is definitely throwing him off in the best of ways

Of course, Donnie being too smart for his own good, has a sneaking suspicion the accessory was a purposeful choice based on your little smirk and glinting gaze

Raphael:

All the impatience Raphael felt waiting for you and April to finish getting ready dissipates like water in the Sahara when his golden eyes lay witness to your get up

Enveloping you is a beautiful (c,c) asymmetrical cloak sleeved top that cascades diagonally down your form and to match are a pair of equally flowing wide leg trousers and (c,c) coned heels

The accessory picked to match is a very pretty necklace with a glimmering ruby, a detail that does not escape Raphael’s notice

Speaking of notice, it does not escape you the slightly awkward silence you and April are greeted with from the burly ninja

Raph is quick to fix himself when April ask if he’s okay, hoping no one notices the deep blush upon his cheeks, and he jokingly pretends to not recognize you, saying he’s just focused on trying to see where you’re at

You of course roll your eyes at his antics and smack his arm, Raphael chuckling at your slight feistiness he adores, and commits your un-characteristic appearance to the catalog of memories he has of you

Leonardo:

Much like Raphael, Leonardo is left speechless when the balcony window to your and April’s apartment opens to reveal your chosen attire for the NYPD ceremony

A (c,c) suit blazer tops a neatly ironed dress shirt that’s tucked into matching (c,c) slacks held up by a fastened belt and to match are a pair of (c,c) oxfords to offer your feet comfort as well as added fanciness

The blue tie around your collared shirt is what catches Leo’s eyes, a grin spreading across his face as he steps inside and makes a comment about how the outfit suits you

Ignoring his punny compliment you simply say thanks before adding that you just wish you could get the tie to not be crooked and if he would be okay lending a hand

Leonardo has no issue helping especially when it comes to you and as he closes the gap between you to adjust said troublesome tie, it takes all of his willpower to not get completely enraptured by the deepening blush upon your soft cheeks, that of which always seems to make him equally flush

Notes: i wrote this as romantic because i need that in my life rn also i tried my best but there are some mentions of reader having hair that's longer then lets say a pixie cut

Raph

Raph wouldn’t play with your hair unless you asked him

He would be way too scared to accidentally hurt you because of his hands

This mans huge and i think we all know that

When you asked him for the first time to play with your hair he was a bit hesitant but as soon he started running his fingers through your hair you were nuzzled up against him with your eyes closed and a soft smile on your face.

Now, if he's sitting down on the couch or on his bed you would just flop down next to him placing you head on his lap and we would basically understand what your asking for

He gets butterflies in his stomach everytime. He feels so happy that you trust him and it makes his whole world

He started watching youtube videos on how to style hair

Though its difficult for him to recreate it and usually ends in a bit of a tangled disaster you appreciate the thought

Leo

Leo found out you love when your hair is played with by cuddling together in his bed and you were having some trouble sleeping

You kept on squirming around in bed trying to force yourself to get even a few minutes of rest

That is until you felt an arm snake around you and a hand coming up to caress your hair.

You relaxed almost immediately and you heard a small chuckle from next to you

You open your eyes to be faced with a smiling turtle

“Feels nice?”

You let out a tired laugh before bringing leo closer to you wrapping him a warm hug before you fell asleep

He loves to play with your hair it brings him some comfort as well seeing you so relaxed

Loves to spend time with you when your heads on his plastron with him playing with your hair.

If you’d want donnie to run his fingers through your hair you have better brushed before hand

I don't think he would really like the feeling of his fingers being tangled in your hair

- as a cuddle bug, you love a good cuddle session. and honestly, leo wont oppose to this as he too loves to cuddle with you.

- plus how can he say no when you waddle up to him with a cute pout on your face? wondering why he had left you in the bed all alone??

- "you fell asleep and i wanted to make myself a cup of tea." he hummed, extending an arm and watching with a warm smile as you curled into his side and nuzzled against him.

- cuddling with leo felt like heaven. and while you'd never say it out loud, cuz he'd never let you live it down, you honestly adored every second of it.

TMNT HEADCANONS - Taking naps with the turtles / having a sleepy S/O

As someone who has accidentally slept for 23 hours straight and literally has a nickname as “snooze” I’m obligated to do this (I tried to look for a cute / aesthetic gift but that pup is my spirit animal fr)

I’ve been digging how @oozedninjas does their Headcanons (as long with their writing, I seriously eat it up everytime yum yum yum)

as much as I love looooong Headcanons, sometimes I only have some blurbs going on in my mind, I also think this keeps things so dynamic, every interaction can be seen and everyone is happy yipee (I hope you don’t mind me using your writing style? Headcanon Set-up? Layout? as reference! Pls let me know if so, I’ll def take it out or reference you on new ones!)

• Isn’t the one for naps, lowkey thinks it’s a waste of time, he rather do activities with you! Time is precious! That being your hobbies or his, talking, playing games or reading, he has his mind set on it… until you flutter your lashes at him, giving him puppy eyes, and suddenly at the warm of your embrace, the way you hum over his plastron, how cute and serene you look… he starts questions himself, why haven’t you two done this sooner?
