Having this blog has meant having the space for me to express my thoughts, emotions, and experiences surrounding not just LazyTown but also my dear closeness to the character Sportacus. Some of these are shared by many. Wow, what an experience!

To those of you who I have hurt in the process, I’m sorry. That’s the last thing that I ever want to happen. Those who have welcomed and supported me, thank you. I am grateful to have participated in this LazyTown experience with you thus far.

My desire -- or need rather -- for this space has been satiated, I think. This blog will be, as it already is, pretty much inactive for the foreseeable future. There can always be exceptions to this, of course. Either way, as far as I can see, it’s staying put for now.

As my relationship with LazyTown and the fandom evolves, I look forward to more shared experiences in the future here on Tumblr and through other mediums. Yes, you will still find me here but in another form or two. I’m not done yet.

I want to encourage everyone to not feel guilty if you experience joy/happiness/fun at this time. It’s okay for both grief/sadness and joy/happiness to exist at the same time. It does. Everyday.

That dichotomy exists and it’s there. It’s not bad. It’s not good. It’s there and it’s okay.

I treated myself to some salmon tonight and when I was searing it, I realized I didn’t have any seasoning for it other than salt. When I looked for a lemon to add flavor -- none. At that point I was looking for anything to put on the fish. “Gotta think outside the box!” I told myself. My eyes landed on the orange juice I bought today (with extra pulp even!!) and I got so excited. “That’s totally a thing!” I told myself. So I filled the pan almost half way with oj and I constantly spooned it over the fish like i’ve seen in cooking shows before and I must have done something right bc that was the most wonderful salmon I’ve had in a long while!! Definitely going to hold onto that recipe. Quick, easy to make, and so tasty!

Call out on my hypocritical self.

In a post I stress how no one food is inherently good or bad, unhealthy or healthy. And then in the exact same post I add a tag saying sucrose is bad. It’s not. Sucrose is not bad.

No one food is healthy or unhealthy. It’s the amount, the body of the person eating it, what other nutrients it’s paired with, and other factors as well.

I got my oil changed today and when I saw the price I, out of curiosity, asked, “Is there any way I can get a discount?” and they knocked $10 off the price no strings attached.

It’s amazing what happens sometimes when you ask, and for sure I’m going back there for my next oil changed.
