Don't ever tell me roy wasn't emotionally mature or that he was selfish.

He managed to say their goodbyes and keep it "cool" (joking even to the girls about missing him) until he was gone far enough to shed a tear.

Sure their separation hurted him lots; but at the same time they needed to go on with their lives too, they would still be friends, but learn to go by themselves.

(This hurts me a considering Roy have them as their only family at that moment.)

I think every Jason Todd fan who likes the "Jason was a child prostitute" headcanon should read Mia Dearden's comics. And I'm not saying this as in "stop giving male characters female characters backstories", child prostitute Jason is one of my favorite headcanons (as shown by multiple of my fics), but because I think you would genuinely enjoy her character a lot.
