It's been four years since the world went to shit, and Tommy's been fighting for his life the whole time. When he gets separated from his older brother, he's forced to make the long journey up North in hopes of reuniting in Alaska. Allies, enemies, and Infected make themselves known along the way, along with a dangerous, unknown secret that could change the world.

Sam has fought his whole life to keep his baby brother safe, and the one time he manages to fail, his world turns upside-down. Injured, unprepared, and alone, he has to trek to their meeting point, all while holding the knowledge of something so powerful, it could shatter what little remains of the world. If he manages to find friends and foes on his hike, then so be it. But he has bigger concerns. Namely, the salvation of the world:
