Honestly I'm not kidding, it's gonna change your gddm life. I'm gonna try it on every savoury meal I make forever because I just made a roast chicken - coated it in garlic, Za'atar, and oil, and it's incredible.
It made the best chicken stock I've ever made in my life - I didn't add more, but I include the skin when making stock and I can't go back to Za'atar-less stock it's just so good.
I didn't expect the meat to taste of it, not really, maybe a little but I swear it's so tasty
All that to say go buy some, preferably from Zaytoun, cause the money is guaranteed to help Palestine

Crispy shredded zaatar tofu cabbage wraps
So good! I used firm instead of extra firm and it didn’t make perfect grated bits and had to cook longer to get firmer but it was still great.

Mouthwatering Labne dip recipe below! ⬇️ Za'atar Labneh with Crispy Garlic Serves: 8 Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 5 minutes Ingredients • 6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil • 6-8 garlic cloves, minced • 4 tablespoons za'atar • 1 teaspoon kosher salt • 16 ounces Karoun Labne • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley Cooking Instructions 1. Add the olive oil, minced garlic, za'atar, and salt to a small skillet and set it over medium heat. 2. As it begins to simmer, stir frequently, and cook until the garlic is beginning to turn golden brown and the za'atar is fragrant. This will only take a couple of minutes. 3. Remove the pan from the heat and let the mixture cool to room temperature. 4. Scoop the labneh into a bowl, stirring it a bit as you do. Spoon the za'atar and garlic oil over the top of the labneh.
